The program does what needs to be done. If it wasn't so slow and if support was effective this could easily be a 5 star program.
Pros: Program offers a lot of customization, a lot of ways to access menus from different aspects of the program.
Cons: Unfortunately, the program is extremely slow to load. Especially when sending medications. Support is very hit and miss often telling you you are not having the problem or telling you it will be resolved and they start a ticket that is never resolved or you have to chase.

We knew right away that their company was not organized or equipped for creating a personalized system for us. We launched when our billing system wasn’t even set up due to the error of the Trainer. I tried to negotiate to get out of the contract and they told me they would charge me $70,000 and I would have to litigate in Florida. I tried on countless phone calls to try to get the upper executives to understand what wasn’t working into work with them, and found out a year and a half then from one of the employees that they had five people in charge of 3000 accounts. Besides from the platform being very expensive, I had to pay my Biller triple what I’ve done in previous years and had to pay my staff hourly for training that felt like it was never ending. We have pages of glitches and errors that are impacted our payroll and our insurance billing. I don’t normally write negative reviews, but feel the need to warn other people about this company and system.

Cons: Cost my businesses thousands in extra expenses and a huge stressor for my staff. I can't express the amount of stress it caused my staff and myself.

Overall, the system works well for me a clinician seeing pediatric psychiatry patients with various prescriptions, labs, and parent messages.
Pros: Insync grew on me overtime. I appreciated the patient refill reminders and the messaging system. We had a coordinator working with us who was thorough and listened to our concerns about the system and sent plenty of S & Ps for us. The eprescribe worked well once we got the hang of how to cancel prescriptions, manage, and check PDMP.
Cons: The system was very slow for the first 3-4 months to the point where I just had to use AI to chart as I couldn't click around the EHR during visits and chart at the same time. There are a lot of ways to do one thing which requires a huge learning curve, think about the first time you started EPIC - similar feeling.

I loved Insync, better than EMR system I was used to before.
Pros: Billing and progress notes in the same platform. I like how the dashboard could be edited to however we like the best.
Cons: The overall color layout is mediocre. Some things displayed were redundant; the different gadgets some were repeated.

Overall it's a good product. They are constantly doing updates and coming out with enhancements.
Pros: There are a long of great features and enhancements.
Cons: Sometimes the features are not quite there. Technical issues are common and it can take a long time for them to be fixed. Some associates are not good about responding to emails.
Samantha D. · Executive Assistant of Clinical Opersations · Mental Health Care · December 5, 2024
Average, upset with broken promises, delays in getting paid due to program errors, I appreciate how hard the care center works to resolve issues, at times not worth the cost
Pros: Has some nice features, enjoy the clinical charting schedule feature
Cons: continual errors, very difficult to fix complex issues, causing billing delays, not keeping their word
Larry B. · Administrator · Mental Health Care · December 5, 2024
overall its a good app but it should be little more user friendly for the admin to make or add changes
Pros: for the most part it works pretty well with no issues
Cons: when a client cancels the confirmation should not go out
paula c. · OFFICE MANAGER · Mental Health Care · December 5, 2024
it has been good. Support tickets sometimes get lost in the process on both sides
Pros: Its basically a self serve type of system. this is good and bad. Sometimes additional help with linking information from Insync to the EDI system is needed
Cons: being able to create our own reports would be helpful
Darla L. · Billing Coordinator · Mental Health Care · December 5, 2024
We have LOVE using Qualifacts InSync. The meet all the marks from clinical, administrative, RCM, and integrations. They are continuing to add new features and tools every quarter. I have previously used TheraNest, Valant, TherapyNotes, and Lauris.
Pros: User friendly, widely customizable, extensive features and tools.
Cons: Some parts are super technical which require more research and support from their tech team.
Josh H. · COO · Mental Health Care · December 5, 2024
Overall we have been very pleased with InSync.
Pros: It is easy to learn the system and navigate.
Cons: Our billers have had some hiccups learning the system.
David A. · Clinic Director and FNP-C · Hospital & Health Care · December 4, 2024
SO FAR IT HAS BEEN FINE. TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIGURE OUT SOME OF THE THINGS BUT IT IS WORKING OUT
Pros: IT IS USER FRIENDLY. AND LEARNING A LOT.
Cons: WHEN THE PATIENTS NAME POPS UP AUTOMATIVLY AND THAT'S NOT THE PATIENT YOU ARE WANTING THERE.
KELLY M. · OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR · Mental Health Care · December 4, 2024
I am not sure I would invest in it again.
Pros: It is not as good as the credible product. I like the color scheme and the layout.
Cons: The helpdesk staff are friendly but there are too many repeat tickets. The helpdesk does not know how to handle a small company with no experience in managing a health record. For example--change in codes requires more than a fee schedule change many other tickets to be put in. Terrible experience. One year of addressing this issue so we can bill the service-unacceptable.
Michele M. · Executive Director · Mental Health Care · December 3, 2024
So far so good, they get job done, they correspond quickly.
Pros: That is more efficient getting issues solved
Cons: Personally I like to speak to someone by phone, I'm old school.
Felicitas B. · RN Administrator · Medical Practice · December 3, 2024
use reports and take care of 837 billing, 835 receipt and balance
Pros: System stable and friendly customer services.
Cons: some report pattern can not be saved and identify ID for insurances is wrong in billing.
Steve Y. · Senior Programmer · Mental Health Care · December 3, 2024
9 months of a steep learning curve - and it is getting better but we have a long way to go
Pros: it has amazing capabilities and it does help us deal with some big issues
Cons: the interface is clunky and slow and not intuitive - it does not integrate well with other software
Michael F. · Psychologist Owner · Mental Health Care · November 26, 2024
The software is easy to use if you stick with only the basic features, but when it comes to need to use more advanced features or configurations, it is super confusing. The Resource Center is not great it's frustrating when trying to "guess" how something might be worded in order to search. If no help there, I go to the support and try searching. Most of the time I have to enter a ticket. Finding an answer can be days later. Support personnel are usually very good at helping, although sometimes there is a language barrier.
Pros: The training was extensive and seemed very helpful, giving us the feeling that things were going to go smoothly. There are many reporting features that we need.
Cons: After implementation we felt lost. Support was no longer a phone call away. It's as if we got off a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean, landing on a deserted island.
Teri R. · Practice Office Manager · Mental Health Care · November 26, 2024
It is an EMR that also accomplishes full billing. There are many products that can be integrated and customized to the needs of the agency.
Pros: Most reports export to excel making it easier to get the reporting that is being asked for
Cons: There are too many ways to get to the same spot in the system or accomplish the same this. I recognize that this is also a pro, but it makes training difficult.
Crystal H. · Admin · Mental Health Care · November 26, 2024
We are happy with this EHR platform so far.
Pros: This is such a robust system! The support team is fast to respond and resolve any issues or provide assistance with configurations when needed. I love that we are finally using an EHR that requires little to no workarounds to get the job done!
Cons: I would love to see the University separate Administrative, Configurations, and user workflows to allow for more efficient training of new users who have no need to know certain aspects of the EHR. I would also like to see more enhancements to allow for individual facility customizations when there are multiple facilities under one practice to account for the diversity of each facility such as appointment reminders, auto eligibility configurations, etc..
Jessy W. · Systems Director · Mental Health Care · November 25, 2024
We have been extremely happy with Insync so far, we're only a few months in but the amount of options and reporting is amazing.
Pros: Reporting capabilities, claims options, work que's
Cons: Time it takes to correct a problem, the repositioning of the screen when opening a new screen.
Regina S. · Billing Manager · Mental Health Care · November 21, 2024
Pros: We have worked with InSync since 2017, and they continue to make improvements and streamline the system every year.
Cons: Other than the occasional glitch, I have no complaints!
Kelsey W. · Practice Administrator · Mental Health Care · November 21, 2024
After a short time utilizing Insync it was easy to navigate and it is efficient to carry over information from a previous note.
Pros: -Being able to slide appointments to a different time slot -Seeing the number of started notes vs unstarted notes -The option to send to dos
Cons: -Unable to copy and paste in charts in documentation -Having to reset the time seen when other information is not added in a specific order when scheduling an appointment
Lauren B. · Occupational Therapy · Medical Practice · November 16, 2024
Want support? Nope, call or email India/Philippines/Pakistan and they will 'open a ticket' as they are 'not the right department'. Still waiting on one from over a week ago. The overseas staff is just like all of the other overseas staff everywhere, they are not allowed to think, they must read from a script. They don't listen, so they never understand the question until you go over it again and again. This is a very complex billing platform with no support, AND a LONG contract that you cannot get out of. You will regret using this.
Pros: Not a thing. There is no redeeming quality.
Cons: Everything. We just discovered that in 2024 alone (6 months), 663 claims NEVER generated. Why? So many issues with not creating revenue, claims or invoices. This is over a $1 million loss as many of the claims are medicaid with very tight timely filing requirements. Also since the Change Healthcare hack, they are making us use Availity and more than half of the claims we download from Insynch and upload to Aviality are 'missing', making a horrendous process to identify which went out and which ones failed. Insynch uses multiple clearinghouses to complicate things further.
Vicky M. · Billing · Accounting · July 29, 2024
One of the things InSync had promised us on moving to them was the ability for patients to schedule their own appointment using the InSync dashboard. This was a lie, the patient can only request an appointment, and they can request any time slot even if the provider is not available at that time. This is NOT Qualifacts fault, by any means. But when I asked if this feature would be implemented I was told to reach out to ask for a meeting. All of my tickets for that request have gone missing and I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this. At the moment we have to use Availity for appointments and pay to have staff move the appointments from Availity to InSync.
Pros: Qualifacts bought InSync, and one of the nice things is that they didn't completely gut the good things about InSync. They did work on fixing many of the issues that InSync had, which was very promising and very nice.
Cons: When we first moved to InSync, it was so easy to call someone for help, now there is a ticketing system and I've actually had four to five tickets that completely disappeared so I'd recreate them. A month or so later I received an email regarding the ticket. The tickets had been internal only with no warning for me, which caused me to create more tickets, more than likely bogging down their system, and leaving me feeling ignored.
Nichole G. · Administrative Assistant · Mental Health Care · May 9, 2024
Pros: Great look, easy to use and wide range of customisation options.
Cons: Unable to download patients entire chart at once and also lack of bulk action when performing tasks.
Muhammad R. · Medical Doctor · Hospital & Health Care · April 4, 2024
poor at best, I dislike the EMR, I don't like using it everyday
Pros: I like the reporting feature, there a lot of qualifiers
Cons: it's not user friendly and moves slow. site goes down often interrupting business
