Happy with Tipalti AP and Procurement. Some minor bugs, but all in all, I am satisfied. I would like to give Procurement some more attention as there are some internal update I need to review. Hopefully I can improve my own process.
Pros: User friendly platform that allows me as the primary processor to get the work done and for users who use the platform less often to navigate with ease (PO platform). Tipalti Support is very responsive with guides and snags.
Cons: The AP bill processng page can be a bit cumbersome, as it requires multiple clicks and some back-and-forth navigation to upload information for PO versus non-PO items. The layout is just a bit unpolished.

Pros: What I value most about Tipalti is its ability to streamline and centralize complex financial operations within a single, intuitive platform. The system significantly reduces manual effort by automating accounts payable workflows, tax compliance, and global payment processing
Cons: One of the aspects I liked least about Tipalti was the complexity of its user interface, particularly during the initial onboarding and setup process

Pros: The "Global First" Architecture, The Shift to "Agentic" AI, Touchless" Multi-Entity Management, While it’s a powerhouse for mid-to-large businesses, users sometimes find the initial setup and "learning curve" a bit steep
Cons: The "Implementation Tax", Complex Pricing & "Drip" Fees, The "Financial Sledgehammer" Problem, Support "Speed Bumps"

It has been generally positive in regards to accomplishing the goal of automating manual billing/collections and payment workflows and speeding up the invoice process especially. I'm not sure I would say it's the number one tool out there, but it is a workable solution.
Pros: I like that it has a multitude of integration opportunities with other software and platforms. I also like the ability to handle international payments, using ACH or other methods. The other benefit is the approval workflow system that makes it simple but also efficient for easy approvals up the chain.
Cons: It is a little bit difficult to get up and running in regards to the user interface and getting comfortable with all the settings, capabilities, site itself, etc.
Erin B. · Controller · Accounting · January 12, 2026
It was a mixed bag. It got the job done, but felt like it required a lot more work than other platforms in this space.
Pros: It is a good central tool that integrates fairly well with our banking and accounting systems to manage accounts payable and bill payment.
Cons: The reporting of bills in the system and schedule of payments is confusing, the payment process is not always reliable like competitor products, and there are a great many hoops to jump through to prove compliance.

Everything works as expected, and I don't face any downtime. For team who use it to approve invoices, it is nice to be able to see previous invoices.
Pros: Easy-to-use software and quite reliable. It could be expensive for a small or start-up company, but good for a mid-sized company that deals with a lot of suppliers.
Cons: It can be quite expensive for a small company. It is complex if you want to integrate with an ERP system.

Tipalti is successfully helping us reduce the manual workload for both expense and AP processes. By offering tools like mobile receipt uploads and seamless integration, it streamlines tasks that used to take days. This saves time, reduces errors, and allows our finance team to focus on more strategic work.
Pros: The system is intuitive and familiar. Features like mobile receipt capture are a big win for our traveling team, and the seamless integration with systems like Sage Intacct and Amex adds major efficiency. Tipalti is clearly listening to users; the recent update for precise coding shows they are committed to improvement and helping us get the automation we need.
Cons: The main drawback right now is a limitation in the approval workflow for corporate card spending. Card transactions currently go straight to finance, by-passing frontline managers, which is a key step for us. The good news is Tipalti is already addressing this with an enhanced approval workflow slated for release soon. It’s reassuring to see that a solution is already in progress based on user feedback.

Tipalti helps us manage complex, multi-currency payments across our global offices and vendors, which has always been a challenge in the travel industry. Automating payments, handling currency conversions, and ensuring accurate commission distributions have significantly reduced manual effort and errors. By centralizing everything in one platform and offering features like bulk invoice imports and local payment options, Tipalti saves us time, simplifies month-end processes, and improves our efficiency in managing over $2 million in monthly distributions.
Pros: $92
Cons: OCR scanning longer than expected No support for scaning on one pdf file with multi-invoices Minor issues on notification setting

Tipalti has significantly streamlined our Accounts Payable. It automates invoice processing, eliminating manual spreadsheets, reducing errors, and ensuring compliance. The Netsuite integration provides real-time accuracy. This has improved our efficiency and scalability, allowing the finance team to focus on strategic work.
Pros: Tipalti successfully centralized and automated our AP processes. The Netsuite integration is excellent, with real-time syncing and accurate GL impacts. Automated approval workflows and OCR scanning are game-changers, saving significant time and simplifying multi-entity accounts. Customer support has been fantastic ([sensitive content hidden] , specifically), and the system is clearly built to scale for our future growth.
Cons: Setting up custom approval workflows and vendor onboarding required a steep initial learning curve, which required a lot of back-and-forth. However, the system's flexibility and support team helped us manage these issues effectively.
Diether M. · Senior Accounting Manager · Computer Software · October 27, 2025
Positive, would recommend. Ability to have vendors self-onboard, then process and pay bills in one platform has been value add. Credits cards have been big value add to cover more use cases for us.
Pros: UI is very new age and easy to use, making the learning curve smaller for the team. The resources available to us has been impressive, really like having a technical support rep.
Cons: The system has been buggy at times, which has slowed operations. A little slower during month end, which is when we really need to system to running smoothly
McCabe B. · Director of Strategic Finance · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · October 24, 2025
Implementation was awesome, go-live was simple, and the support team has been super responsive! What more could you ask for?
Pros: After some disastrous implementations, Tipalti's white glove service was a breath of fresh air. Our implementation lead, [sensitive content hidden], walked us through each step and always made sure all of our questions were answered. This was by far the easiest implementation we've made. It made it completely worth every penny.
Cons: The UI is just a tad on the older side. I know they've got a lot on their roadmap but the automation pieces of it are still a little clunky.
Shadia C. · Director of Accounting · Information Technology and Services · October 6, 2025
Tipalti is helping us centralize and streamline our accounts payable processes, which has improved visibility and reduced manual effort. It’s been especially valuable for managing approvals, vendor onboarding, and payments globally, ensuring nothing gets stuck or missed. This has made accruals and budget management easier and more accurate while minimizing risks like missed invoices or delayed payments. Overall, it’s helping us stay organized, save time, and focus on more strategic tasks.
Pros: The system is user-friendly, and features like the revamped invoice and payment screens have made navigating approvals and payments straightforward and efficient. I really appreciate how everything is centralized, from vendor onboarding to invoice tracking, which helps eliminate manual work and makes processes much easier to handle. The integration with NetSuite is another big plus—it syncs well with our existing tools, making it seamless to manage POs and approvals across different entities. The team at Tipalti has been very responsive whenever we’ve had questions or needed help, even offering guidance on NetSuite-related issues. I’ve seen a clear effort on their part to take customer feedback into account, like when they updated the payment screen based on suggestions. It’s clear they care about making the system better for users, which has been really refreshing. Overall, it’s been dependable and has added real value to our workflows.
Cons: One thing that could be improved in Tipalti is the approval delegate functionality. When someone goes on vacation, I have to manually reassign their approvals, which adds extra work. It would be great if users could set their own delegates or if admins could reassign approvals more flexibly. Overall small areas for improvement, but I constantly get feedback whether my issues are in a pipeline of improvements

We were considering it to pair with Acumatica ERP as a payment processor. The software UI is sleek and has a modern feel, with plenty of drill-down links between transactions and related tables. As they mention on their website, Tipalti is a Hebrew word meaning “we handled it”, which reflects its Israeli roots as the brainchild of its two [sensitive content hidden], who still head the organization and board. The sales reps and engineers provided comprehensive demos and responded in-depth to our many questions.
Pros: Slick modern looking user interface. Self-service for vendors, for registration of bank details and submitting invoices. Image/OCR recognition of imported invoices to pre-fill AP form. Tailored approval flows.
Cons: The system price was not competitive with the other payment systems we were considering, especially for their fees for foreign currency payments, which were four to five times higher their competitor. Invoice image capture takes a day for turnaround. Need to pre-fund a separate account for processing outgoing payments. Duplicated some functions of our ERP (Acumatica), and couldn't have Tipalti import coded AP forms from Acumatica. Not easily adaptable for self-service AP submission by large number of non-accounting dept. users.

Tipalti is solving the problem of being an effective platform that we use to pay our domestic and foreign video owners. It is our housing system that we rely on to store the data that we need for our accounting records on a monthly basis during our month-end close and on an annual basis for tax reporting purposes.
Pros: he system is easy to navigate and I am able to download the reports that I need. Annually, when we send 1099s to our domestic video owner licensees and 1042s to our international video owner licensees I am able to effectively gather the data that we need to send to licensees and to report to the IRS for tax purposes.
Cons: I wouldn't say that there is anything that I specifically dislike about Tipalti. Maybe just improved turnaround times from customer support to close out open tickets that we've submitted.

Not much. I got paid through my company, ULG, and it was not much that I had to do. It was a direct deposit.
Pros: Ease of payment, but I cannot tell anything else about Tipalti, only that it was a third party by which I would get paid at work.
Cons: Do not know since I only got paid via email. I like the logo and how fast they were to pay my ULG check.

I used Tipalti a lot as an affiliate and I am particularly please with on time payments and w8 form provided by the platform for task compliance
Pros: Provides easier way to fill tax form and receive affiliate payments from a wide range of partners
Cons: Tipalti needs to integrate with platforms like stripe so that other developers can use it for affiliate payments

Great company, and great people to work with. They have been beneficial to my organization, our vendors, and the individuals on my team.
Pros: Tipalti helps our vendors manage their own payment details. That cuts down on my fraud risk and also frees up my team to focus on other more value-adding parts of their roles. Tipalti is also great with international payments.
Cons: Since we have started working with Tipalti, they have continued to innovate and bring other related products to market, such as Tipalti Card. We have not been able to utilize any of these yet.
Ho Y. · VP, Finance · Computer Software · March 13, 2025
Tipalti has been a long-term dependable third party payment distributor, and I would recommend to any company.
Pros: I loved that Tipalti made it easier to receive payments from my distributor while protecting my personal information.
Cons: Using their party payment methods isn't typically something that I am find of, however Tipalti made it simple and fast, which made it less of an issue.

Tipalti is a great AP system that allow us to keep our bills in one place.
Pros: -AI coding helps us save time -Sync with our accounting system-Intacct -Sync failure monitoring
Cons: -Needs to add lines one by one, for some bills with different department, not very efficient

GREAT PRODUCT, would highly recommend!!!!
Pros: I love using Tipalti, it has effectively replaced an army of AP clerks into an automated tool, its easy to use has great features and provides all round controls on AP
Cons: The Sync errors are a at times difficult to understand
Sameh H. · Finance Manager · Financial Services · March 5, 2025
Tipalti has been a pleasure to work with. They are fast on a reply and solution.
Pros: Tipalti has in instrumental in so many aspects of our accounting improvements. We have implemented bill approvals with keeps us compliant as well as everyone accountable for their budget. We have been able to streamline and shorten our monthly closing process thanks to Tipalti. Lastly, Tipalti cards has allowed us to enable employees the ease of a company card with fast tracking and reconciliation.
Cons: I would love for a few tweaks on the platform interface but aside from that, no major cons.
Kelley W. · Accounting Manager · Wholesale · March 4, 2025
So far, in the time we have been using the tool, we have encountered few situations, and in those cases the service has been very efficient. The information that is handled in the form of reports or summaries for the year, for example, has made our work of closing the period much easier.
Pros: Tipalti simplifies your payment system, clearing the information of your clients and partners and giving you the ease of executing a large number of payments in a short time.
Cons: The payment situation in some foreign currencies is sometimes difficult and varies in the charges and payment times, although we understand that this is something that is currently being worked on.
Mariano R. · CFO · Publishing · March 4, 2025
Amazing Platform features. Great Customer support.
Pros: Quick Resolution and Support System. Easily Comprehensible Platform. Auto integration of Invoices.
Cons: Too many steps involved to process the invoice for payment. Lack of active chat system.
Anjum S. · Head of Finance · Marketing and Advertising · March 4, 2025
Overall, I think Tipalti works great for our needs for the most part. Our Tipalti account reps are very responsive and helpful. The ticketing system is convenient to raise questions/concerns.
Pros: The invoice upload and scan is really fast. My invoices are ready for processing not too long after I drop them for scan.
Cons: 1. Every time I change a payee name, the system requires the payee to submit their passport/company registration to make changes to billing info. We get a lot of complaints from payees because they are uncomfortable sharing those documents and do not understand the need for it. 2. The session times out too fast if I'm inactive and takes me back to the log in screen.
