My experience has been mediocre at best, I wouldn't go on ServiceTrade if I knew what I did now, but at this point it is difficult to switch.

Pros: I appreciate the rapid response on technical support, the extensive API, the exporting functionality, the deficiencies system, and the scheduling/dispatch tool.
Cons: Bugs and lacking certain features like Quote and Comment histories, attachments/customization, on Quotes, task templates on services (not just maintenance, and hard to use technical documentation. It is hard to keep track of orders and sales status without purchasing additional tools from ServiceTrade. The offline functionality for technicians' phones is spotty even on the officially supported apple devices, techs' notes will often disappear when they sync back online, and I was told to just take notes in a different app which i find kind of ridiculous.

This is an excellent tool that can keep a database of customers information for scheduling, job history and billing purposes.
Pros: Very user friendly. Easy to use and can find exactly what I'm looking for. I can access all of the vital information needed to get my job done
Cons: Sometimes there are issues with site not loading. Specifically when trying to put a PO number in the newest version.

Wonderful. Easy to learn and use. Service trade staff are always there to help with any issues. Prompt replies and friendly attitudes.
Pros: Customer service is top notch. The efficiency of the software has increased profits. Dispatch board is helping with scheduling and keeping track of technicians and jobs
Cons: Software favours US based companies and we are in Canada. Could use more customization of work acknowledgments and assets.

Has become much easier to use. They seemed to have problems before using the app before some of the updates.
Pros: Tech friendly. My techs have saying that using this app has made their jobs much faster with the information given to them.
Cons: Would like to add a page to the app. Would like to add things my tech needs to complete before they close out the job.

I love this product from reoccurring service management, to job creation/completion to invoicing. In addition, ServiceTrade has an amazing customer support team behind the scenes if needed.
Pros: It's critical to have a good Field Service Management system when working in a service industry. ServiceTrade is an excellent product that eases the day-to-day burden of managing our customer's needs. In addition, ServiceTrade is continually approving their product.
Cons: If I had to pick something it would have to be that occasionally I lose connection, and the pesky emu pops up.

The first 4 years, I absolutely hated it. The last 3 years, I would recommend it to everyone. A complete 180. ServiceTrade has continually improved to be an industry leader and have some truly incredible employees that actually care about getting it right.
Pros: ServiceTrade is continually improving and has become an extremely user-friendly platform. They have listened to their customers and made a great product.
Cons: Absolutely hated server and system updates during working hours. There is nothing worse than being stranded at a customer for an extra half hour on a Friday because someone decided to roll out an update. I believe this has been corrected now.

Overall, a positive experience. This orgram has been a huge help in invoicing and keeping track of my technicians.
Pros: Service trade is very easy to navigate. Its interface makes getting around easy and self-sufficient.
Cons: I do not like the new home page. I feel the older home page was a little easier. I have learned the new homepage, and all in all, it isn't that bad.

Started when my company first used ServiceTrade and I have loved the evolution where it integrates with several different platforms.
Pros: It’s simple to flow through the different tabs. Easy from start to finish. Like the vast abilities it provides for different aspects.
Cons: Understanding the new dashboard has been difficult without a training. Do not like that you have to write a service and job description think they are the same. Should be able to transfer the reoccurring service type into the description.

Pros: How much they check up on you and how they are available to help grow your business.

It has changed the game for us and has enabled us to go completely paper free. Accessing past history is so much easier now rather than digging through files and old emails.
Pros: I am an account manager and job estimator. I live in Service Trade. Easy to access our entire customer base, service history, and quote history whether at my PC, or from my phone.
Cons: I wish the web dashboard on my phone was made more for a phone or tablet, rather than being the same as the dashboard from my PC. An app for the backend dashboard/database would be amazing.

We are a huge fan of ST. I continually push this product to other fire service providers that I know as well as other field service providers. It has been the greatest addition to our business.
Pros: With ST we are able to fully run our business with the easy of customer locations, ticket prep, quoting and invoicing all in the same place.
Cons: The field techs with non-ios mobile devices have some minor problems with the mobile app, but we manage work-arounds for them.

Service Trade is wonderful. It has increased our efficiency and transparency tremendously.
Pros: The organization of orders, quotes and scheduling.
Cons: Inspection Manager seems to be getting worse the more we use it. Between logging deficiencies twice. The Kitchen suppression form has no comment box. If something fails you have to enter a deficiency. We get multiple deficiencies in ST because the form asks the same question multiple times

My Overall Experience With Service trade. Every Morning I get in my Van, I go straight to my tablet / service trade. It's literally the 1st thing I do, every day. I clock in for my 1st stop, I usually have several stops in a day. Job complete, clock out, Clock in to the next job. I just really like how easy it is. Overall it's the main tool in my tool box really .Thanks ST..
Pros: What I do like most about Service trade, is just it's so user friendly.
Cons: Well, as of now, I can't really think of anything that I dislike. I've been using service trade for years now.

Love it and miss using it for day to day functions
Pros: Love how fast and easy it is to get to all the information you need on one screen. The map is also a fantastic tool.
Cons: Wish it has an accounting program attached to it. Or that it can link up with PZ. Also when adding items it would be better if you can put it on a contract and select the mark up all in one screen

It's a great experience. I love trying new apps and this is a great tool for our business.
Pros: The ease of using the system. Being able to see the technician in real time, their location and on site and off site times. Quoting is also made simple thru Service Trade as well.
Cons: That it can lag at times, and that you cannot access the email from the pop up.

Headache free, always performs as expected

I can honestly say that The use of service trade software has saved us money by streamlining the way we enter, schedule, dispatch, close out, quote and invoice service calls and repairs.
Pros: Ease of use and ability to look up history of units
Cons: Wish there was a way to block off techs time for vacation or medical leave on dispatch board.

A very user friendly app, my company left Service Trade for about 2 years but thankfully have returned because of the improvements that have been made in the back office area
Pros: Ease of use This app is well designed, it allows you to enter all necessary information, especially during the signing acknowledgment for customers

Service trade has made my work life so much easier. It has cut down on the time it takes for scheduling, helps us assure that our repeat services are on track, and makes it easy to communicate deficiencies with our clients. Love, Love, service trade!
Pros: I love how easy it is to schedule reoccurring jobs.
Cons: The invoicing is clunky trying to integrate with our QuickBooks. Too many clicks, I find it easier to maintain invoicing through our QuickBooks system.

I have been a Service Trade user since 2016 and it has been a great experience. They keep adding features and the features that are there are great for businesses with reoccurring services such as ours in the service industry.
Pros: Service Trade has everything we need for our fire suppression business. We especially love how we can set up reoccurring services and reoccurring jobs.
Cons: I can't think of anything. We absolutely love Service Trade!
