It has been really good for the most part, support is great!
Pros: The ability to maintain the data and mapping ourselves
Cons: Lack of some reporting abilities to extract the data.

Pros: Detailed information available on HQ EDI.
Cons: How complex HQ is to create filtered reports

Worked with implementing a new EDI install with new software at a top level. Basic use of dashboard. Communication with accounting and 1 EDI Source leads.
Pros: Good onboarding support staff such as [sensitive content hidden] Easy to use dashboard.
Cons: Costs but wouldn't say it is driven by 1 EDI Source, rather the EDI space as a whole.

They are very easy to work with. They respond and resolve my inquiries quickly.
Pros: The AS2 Complete and EDI HQ are solid products. They are easy to use.
Cons: I wish there are more whitepaper and examples that advise how to use the product more effectively.

My experience with 1 EDI source has been great. I can't think of a time that they ever let me down.
Pros: 1 EDI Source has great support! Never had had any issues for the years that we have used them.
Cons: I wish I knew how to leverage the technology more, I know it is capable of a lot, but I only know so much.
Paul B. · Demand Planning and VMI Manager · Industrial Automation · February 14, 2025
Pros: Love that we have access to the data/maps Absolutely love [sensitive content hidden]!
Cons: Slowness of HQ lately. Outages are more frequent
Alonna M. · EDI Coordinator · Environmental Services · February 14, 2025
I have been using 1EDI Source products for many years and find them to be reliable, and easy to use in most cases. There are a few issues that need some work, but overall it has been a money saving product in our environment.
Pros: EDI-HQ is very reliable and has kept a similar interface over the years, which makes moving from version to version much easier. The AS2 product is very reliable and we have not had many issues with it since we started with it. Solid programs.
Cons: There are some issues I have had with AS2 Complete connecting email with Azure Exchange. On EDI-HQ we have seen some UI issues on the mapping section, but we are not on the latest version yet, so that may have been fixed. The issue's we see are mostly in highlighting that will not go away.

Pros: It is easy to sign in and change profile information.
Cons: I wanted to access and pay invoices, but can't seem to figure that out.

Pros: Well designed application. uershlhdaefh a.kefc v
Cons: Difficult to administer in changing infrastructure environment. No temp licenses.
Paul N. · Director · Financial Services · February 13, 2024
Was not, or did not seem to know NetSuite during the implementation. We have to show them how to do many things. Each time a certificate needs updated (typically annually) it is VERY difficult to get them to schedule the update properly. Any time you need help, it is VERY difficult to get someone to assist you. Then once you get someone to assist you, it takes them forever to get anything done.
Pros: Once it is configured properly, it seems to work.
Cons: Takes forever to get any changes made. It is like pulling teeth for them to help. You will submit a ticket and you get a very short response.

In my opinion we were sold a dream. The level of support is nonexistent. I would not recommend 1 EDI Source to anyone even if it were FREE.
Pros: [sensitive content hidden] is the only PRO I can think of. He is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He gets the job done and is patient enough to offer an explanation. He converses with you without making you feel like he's talking at you.
Cons: Our account manager [sensitive content hidden] is not supportive nor responses. Reached out for business-critical information yet she never bothered to respond until I emailed her stating that she never responded. Instead, she opened up a support ticket on my behalf which I could have done myself. Turnaround time for support tickets is too long for both Tier 1 and 2. The portal is not user friendly, yet we are being forced to utilize it. The US is a serviced based country, yet human interaction is never on the forefront of the business.

Pros: I does what it is supposed to do and seems to do it pretty well
Cons: The set up process had some hiccups with mappings going to wrong fields or being repeated. There was some issues setting up FTP with the partners
HENRY H. · Principal Software Engineer · Financial Services · February 8, 2024
Pros: We had some hiccups with getting started, but received excellent service once we moved past the growing pains. The tech team went above and beyond helping us, even working over the weekend.
Cons: We wish we received more guidance about what we might need.
Julia W. · office manager · Consumer Goods · November 20, 2023
Pros: They are willing to take on EDI management
Cons: Support is limited off hours, and they have scheduled maintenance windows which conflict with our heavy operational times.
Ben W. · President · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · November 16, 2023
Pros: I find the Responsiveness of Support to be excellent
Cons: I don't really have any issues with them
Paul H. · Data Integration Analyst · Food Production · November 13, 2023
Pros: 1 EDI Source allows communication between Hunt & Sons and our direct vendor. The vendor is notified immediately on product shortages and when back orders will be fulfilled.
Cons: I do not have anything negative to say about 1 EDI source.
Jason G. · Manager · Oil & Energy · November 13, 2023
A great business partner for EDI. Highly recommend both their software and managed services if you do not have a dedicated EDI team.
Pros: We use managed exchange managed services. The interface gives you all the detail required to manage processes, and their support and mapping services are second to none. Really great service.
Cons: The ManagedExchange web interface is a bit clunky and very slow at times as compared to most modern web apps. Can be a bit frustrating, but you learn your way around it.
Adam J. · Business Solutions Manager · Building Materials · January 5, 2023
The customer support and sales department are great to work with.
Pros: Keeping orders straight and remittances are easy to understand
Cons: It can be difficult and cumbersome to use at first.
Polly P. · Manager · Wholesale · September 20, 2022
I would recommend the product
Pros: The software is very easy to use. Great work flow.
Cons: We encountered some integration limitations with Sage 50.
Jason T. · Accountant · Consumer Goods · September 16, 2022
Over all its a very helpful product which has a great potential
Pros: EDI X12 Files Customisations and Job Performance is excellent.
Cons: UI is old school, may need some modernisation. Multiple job runs were slowing down the software performance.
Praveen K. · Application Engineer · Financial Services · September 16, 2022
Pros: We use EDI to transmit orders to our vendor. This is automated and we don't have to worry about anything once it's set up.
Cons: The program is very large in scale and it's hard to understand all the features inside the program without taking a proper training course.
thomas m. · IT Manager · Retail · September 15, 2022
Pros: Very stable software. Easy to manage. Very good level of security.
Cons: We use EDI support documentation system It is very good. The support is excelent. I worked with them many times and they are very fast to responde and super pro.
Nikolay P. · IT Administrator · Information Technology and Services · September 13, 2022
Excellent, customer focused team of people with a great, easy to use product. Great combination as we build our business.
Pros: We have a longstanding relationship with 1EDISource and have been using their software for our EDI integrations for almost 10 years. They are excellent in every aspect of their business from knowledegable and helpful sales people who do what they say they are going to do, to their superior technical support team. It is a great organization from top to bottom.
Cons: From my perspective, there is not anything that I do not like about it.
Mitch B. · CEO · Information Technology and Services · September 13, 2022
Overall good, it makes life easy sending notification emails on 810 invoices and error reports as well.
Pros: Easy to use and setup, particularly jobs and processes
Cons: 1. No Excel export functionality available, although it is a very basic need in today's IT world 2. It is hard to debug the error in EDIHQ. Always needs technical help from EDI team.
Kapil K. · Business Analyst · Consumer Services · September 13, 2022
Overall the experience has been a good one. WE are not on schedule with the roll out but coming to the end of implementation of phase 1 and 2.
Pros: Flexibility of reading data inputs from API, standard EDI, to XML files and converting those documents over.
Cons: Since being acquired by Epicor, I had hoped that the UCC 128 labels that 1 EDI source already have created, would have been moved to Epicor. Additional I would have preferred that we were able to address a document in the portal and integrated not just integrated.
