Pros: Die Software kann selbst betrieben werden, was insbesondere aus Datenschutzgründen einen Vorteil bietet.

Cons: Die Wartbarkeit ist anstrengend, da es Nextcloud immer wieder schafft Bugs einzuführen, welche frustrieren.

Pros: the software is very powerful and offer high customization and a high level of security, but there are some bug on arm devices.

Cons: when i m try to mount an external nas it give me an error.

Pros: We needed the ability to accept files (e.g., a file drop service), and this was easily accomplished with Nextcloud. It was fairly simple to set up and has worked very well.

Cons: I wish integrations like Microsoft 365 authentication were better built in. There is some support, but it's extremely cumbersome. I had it working for a while, and then out of nowhere it just stopped. No clue what happened. I didn't want to risk that in production, so for now, we've disabled that and created separate accounts. I would also like better local encryption options.

Pros: Open source, high level of security and privacy, fully configurable without software restrictions. Great support

Cons: Although Nextcloud is well documented and a big community is providing support, setting up Nextcloud from scratch requires some IT skills and knowledge.

Pros: Fast and secured file transfers from phones and cloud server using VPN and SSL options.

Cons: Sometimes you work on app but when an update happens, it isn't available (probably for good reasons).

Pros: It's easy to use, easy to deploy and has a great community that is always available for help and provides plenty of third-party apps.

Cons: It needs to improve file-sharing options ("set expiration time" not available)

Pros: I tried 4 different solutions for my simple use case of keeping family photos on my personal “cloud” aka a computer in my house that has access to the Internet. Complex, feature rich, open source! A fork of ownCloud, it covers way more cases than the one I was looking for, so I decided to use one that does just photo management, but I really appreciated the ease of use and the seamless installation of this software! I am sure, that once I’ll have an use case that Nextcloud offers, it will be my first stop! :)

Cons: Not a con! But for me, it was a _bit_ too feature rich for my liking - I like tools that do one thing, and one thing only. Safely ignore my opinion, nextCloud team does a great job at developing this solution!

Pros: Einfache Bedienung, gerade für die Mitarbeiter ist es eine Erleichterung und man hat wenig Administrationsaufwand. Es ist sozusagen ein Kinderspiel das Produkt zu nutzen. Von kostenlos bis einem humanen Lizenzmodell bei Erweiterung ist alles dabei. Der Client synchronisiert in Echtzeit und kann auf nah zu allen Plattformen genutzt werden.

Cons: Vereinzelt kommt es mal zu bugs in der Windows-App vor, die werden aber auch schnell in einer neuen Version behoben.

Pros: Fonctionne très bien, je suis un utilisateur et la facilité d'avoir accès au document de l'équipe est un plus

Cons: J'aime moins le fait qu'on doit faire attention de ne pas fermer le logiciel quand on regarde un document, car si on fait le X pour fermer le document ça ferme le logiciel. Ce n'est pas long de le rouvrir mais juste tannant

Pros: Many configuration options, great possibilities of cooperation with files. Possibility to add plug-ins to expand functionality. Client for iOS and Android desktop and mobile phones.

Cons: The large number of available options means that the implementation time is not the shortest, but this is compensated by the system's capabilities.

Pros: Nextcloud is secure. No fears of losing data while sharing. It is perfect for handling confidential information. I easily distribute information by sharing with my juniors which speeds up project. I am into Nextcloud.

Cons: Basically no cons. It is an easy to use software with little setup needed.

Cons: Nextcloud starts to feel the weight of his php codebase, its a bit crunky and no straightforward to setup. Php struggles with background tasks and big file uploads. big files (over 4GB) sometimes fail to upload and need multiple attempts

Cons: Die Ressourcenauslastung im Idle-Betrieb ist recht hoch.

Pros: Cuando se trabaja en equipo se puede tener la posibilidad de compartir documentos sin perder el control sobre estos ya hay la opción de bloquear su escritura o que solo sea de consulta.

Cons: So un documento no esta protegido contra escritura y se trabaja de manera simultanea este guardara el que se guarde de ultimo ignorando los cambios del otro usuario o generando conflictos.

Pros: I use self-hosted Nextcloud for me and for some of our customers and we are all satisfied: in a click you can save, share, search your files and documents. There are many extensions available as OCR, photo retouch and so on and you can connect also external sourced as S3, Google Drive, Dropbox and others.

Cons: Nextcloud community is not easy to install, but if you know systems a little and follow instructions you can do it by yourself. As an alternative you can buy Nextcloud
