Salespad is a great resource for my company By allowing us to keep up with inventory with real time reports. It allows for easy searching of customer data, which saves time in the long run.
Pros: What I like most about sales pad is that it provides real time inventory. I am able to View and search for customer documents
Cons: There is nothing about sales pad that I do not like

Cons: Customizing this software can be expensive. It can sometimes, take quite a bit of time to get it customized.

SalesPad offers the logical path for Dynamics GP users to become more efficient, take advantage of modern technology and grow their business with the least cost and effort
Pros: The software offers Microsoft Dynamics GP users an easy and natural evolution into modern technology. It spares GP users wishing to evolve their ERP the huge cost and disruption associated with changing from one ERP to another.
Cons: The software does not offer a start to end user experience. It still depends on the users performing sevarl back end processes directly in Dynamics GP
Wassim R. · Consulting Manager · Professional Training & Coaching · August 11, 2020
Pros: Product is highly customizable; fairly easy to use, and really makes GP a more powerful tool in business. Workflow is by far the best part of this software, and incredibly powerful for any distribution business.
Cons: Although its gotten significantly better over the years, my biggest struggle with salespad has been the bugs constantly being introduced to the software. We have to heavily test software updates and see what breaks before rolling it out.

Beyond horrible
Pros: None. Sales pad and their team were completely incompetent in determining the scope of the project.
Cons: SalesPad quoted a price worked on the project, billed for time and never completed implementation. Never refunded money. Will never recommend product to anyone. Ever
Richard B. · President · Machinery · February 28, 2020
disappointing
Pros: when presented, seemed that integration would be straightforward. it wasn't
Cons: implementation took 3x longer than planned. required substantial additional spend with IT support to implement.
Michael R. · President · Wholesale · February 26, 2020
Pros: Ease of Use. Designers understand customer's logic. Intuitive..
Cons: Not having all the modules needed to use for all aspects of daily use. This is our company's issue.
Mike P. · Branch Manager · Wholesale · February 24, 2020
we are putting the orders much faster by using the Salespad. Customer information , history and their payment history is all under one tab, which makes the order processing very smooth and efficient. Also the inventory check during the order entry is integrated, so you know exactly what is in stock while entering the order. making notes on the sales order right on the same screen is very helpful as well.
Pros: It is very easy and user friendly. My Customer service team uses the sales pad exclusively for all order entry, inventory , customer data look up. Our warehouse also uses it for warehouse solutions
Cons: Back orders are not supported in the current Salespad version. That would be very useful if we could also access the backorders directly from Salespad.
Yonca O. · Managing Director · Wholesale · February 24, 2020
Pros: Salespad has a large variety of functionalities that are great for maintaining inventory.
Cons: It is difficult to use Salespad to keep a record of the additional information for a prolonged period of time that I sometimes need hard copies to look back on.
Caroline C. · Quality Supervisor · Food Production · February 24, 2020
It has been good. It is tough because so much customization needs to be involved.
Pros: Coming from using excel, the automatic fill in features were great. Picking the product ID and having the software input the description and cost is great.
Cons: It isn't very appealing to look at it - kind of old style
Jessica K. · Customer Service Specialist · Consumer Goods · February 24, 2020
Pros: it ties in nicely with our accounting software making it easy to review customer numbers and items on the desktop verstion.
Cons: the mobile version isn't very user friendly. Adding prospects is cumbersome
Brian d. · Sales · Automotive · February 24, 2020
Sales pad was very helpful with the initial setup of the devices and our system. We have not had to have a lot of support since that time.
Pros: For the value of the product it has met the requirements that we have within our operation
Cons: The limited amount of PDT's that it will work with. WE purchased PDT's based on the list at bthe time and the displays were to small to see the entire screen
Nelson H. · Operations Manager · Retail · February 20, 2020
Pros: Workflow processing is a breeze and SalesPad overlay to GP will make inventory/fixed asset tracking much simpler.
Cons: Our primary line of business is equipment rental (which was disclosed during demo), and this product does not really handle rentals. It's great for tracking PO's to purchase new inventory, tracking inventory locations, and for sales, but is lacking for rental line of business.
jennifer f. · Shared Services Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · February 20, 2020
We are very happy with Salespad, we use it as an interface to GP.
Pros: User friendly, lots of customizing options and user fields.
Cons: Not enough templates for dashboard usage - we work with salesguys and being able to have existing templates/reports to pick from would be nice. Also, one drawback is it seems when we do a big upgrade things get broken and we have to refix things. So, Salespad could benefit from recording better notes by customer and what they have setup special would be a good. Everytime we have to fix issues we have to start over and go back through our notes, when Salespad should have this information.
Tracy L. · Dir. of Operations · Plastics · February 20, 2020
Experience using Salespad has been great. We continue to learn more how Salespad Desktop can support and meet our ERP needs.
Pros: We've been able to use this software for all of our manufacturing purposes, and allows us to customize our workflows by type of product and service. Further, we are in touch regularly with Salespad developers, sharing feedback on our needs from Salespad Desktop, which results in improvements to the program, as well as Salespad API. The Salespad API has been one of the most beneficial features that allows us to build our company around a web based infrastructure.
Cons: There are some features regarding the Salespad API that we need, and are not available yet. However, many are in development.
Eduardo S. · Technology Project Manager · Sporting Goods · February 20, 2020
Overall I feel it is a good system. We are currently upgrading our Salespad Software for a more paperless and seamless workflow. Unsure of the ease of getting all the updates installed and usable.
Pros: It is user friendly. Easy to add and remove columns that are not necessary for individual needs.
Cons: Since my company does both custom assembly and distribution it does not cover all of what is necessary for us. We are still having to include extra notes outside of the Salespad System
Donna G. · Sales · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · February 20, 2020
We are still in the finishing stages of implementation, just ironing out the details, but they have been great to work with and if we had more time internally to work on it, it would have been done a long time ago. Just a few more things and we will be completely up and running! I am very excited to roll it out to our end users.
Pros: I like how we can customize the appearance for every user. The ability for each person to make it the most functional for them is a huge time saver.
Cons: I really can't think of anything off the top of my head that I haven't liked.
Sarah C. · IS Administrator · Printing · February 20, 2020
It has been a great tool for our customer service and Order Management team.
Pros: Enables additional users and ease of researching prior orders
Cons: The sales tax and the way it transfers over to Great Plains has been the most aggravating.
Anonymous User · Controller · Consumer Goods · February 18, 2020
Overall, I've had a positive experience. The sales rep for our area is a little tough to get a hold of, but the customer service folks are easy to reach.
Pros: I like the intuitiveness and that customer support is readily available. It's also kind of fun to have different themes for the background.
Cons: I wish it was more compatible with some of the other software we currently use, or that it offered a whole-pharmacy integration so we could ditch the other software programs we use. I'd also love to see a horse theme for the background.
Anna R. · Director of Special Projects · Veterinary · February 17, 2020
Pros: I appreciate the ease of use for my customer service team when it come to entering orders. The Salespad interface is far superior to the GP in regards to order entry.
Cons: Would like more ability on the custom side when we have special requests. My preference would be to have Salespad able to handle all of our custom work.
Mark S. · IT Director · Furniture · February 17, 2020
We mostly use the software to allow our salespeople to enter orders in a secure environment. It allows us to secure fields that we don't want salespeople to change and using workflow we can route orders through Credit checking and other processes. Signivicant savings on processing orders since the sales staff enter their own. Also used by internal staff to process, ship and invoice orders.
Pros: Fully integration to Dynamics GP. Somewhat customizable. Simple to use for our salespeople. Integrates with Sales Tax and credit card solutions.
Cons: Can be challenging to customize screens and functionality and modify reports.
Gary L. · Application Specialist · Renewables & Environment · February 17, 2020
Pros: This software is very easy to learn to use, and the system is highly configurable to user needs.
Cons: We are still in the implementing process, but so far this has been a pleasant experience.
Jovonna D. · Operations Manager · Consumer Goods · February 17, 2020
It is one of the best applications I have admin.
Pros: Ease of use by end user and the configurability as a system admin
Cons: It is becoming very big making it difficult to be a SME
Brandon K. · Business and Application Analyst · Retail · February 17, 2020
SalesPad Desktop is a great supplement to Dynamics GP. For order entry, customer management, and inventory handling, SalesPad leaves GP in the dust. Workflow, powerful 3rd party integrations and regular updates to the product make it a worthwhile investment for any business looking to enhance their ERP platform.
Pros: Modern, customizable user interface that employees can understand and tweak to their needs.
Cons: Some error messaging is unclear, and a "workflow visualizer" would be a great addition.
