Pros: I’ve had one of my yahoo accounts since the early 2000s. I used to like the chat features within the server as that’s how my friends and I would chat during computer class. I like that we could store our photos on there and could even send messages to our emails via text. I like the design features too. I was able to design my yahoo/ yahoo status the way I did MySpace page.
Cons: Today, it’s all about money with this company. You have to pay for storage and pay to remove ads. I created another email for one important record keeping. Because of their updates/storage issues - my email from Middle school has been deleted which makes me sad.

Overall, I love Yahoo Mail and it is the main form of email communication that I use at my business, even though I have a different site for my personal email account. Yahoo Mail makes things super easy and quick and I love how easy it is to get the hang of it when you are first starting to use it! Yahoo Mail is amazing!!!
Pros: I like that you can send any emails that you want and it is super easy to connect with others. There are never any issues with Yahoo Mail and there is great customer support to ensure no issues occur. It is super easy to navigate, learn, and get the hang of as a first time user. You can manage your documents with ease on Yahoo Mail as well, which is another great feature!
Cons: There was nothing that I disliked about Yahoo Mail. Everything works very well and you can tell that the developers actually put thought and effort into creating it, because it is very well done.

I would say my over all experience with Yahoo Mail has been pleasant. I use it mostly for personal use. I hardly get any spam like I do with Gmail.
Pros: I like Yahoo Mail I have used this product for many years. I like that you can adjust and have yahoo automatically delete old mail.
Cons: I have not had any issues with Yahoo Mail. It serves as my personal email. It has never really given any issues.

Pros: Simple interface, good spam filtering, and easy to organise messages. Works well for basic communication and offers decent storage.
Cons: Occasional ads can be distracting, and the platform feels slower compared to newer email tools. Customisation options are limited.
Anonymous User · Analyst · Financial Services · April 9, 2026
I like sorting they do, and ability to find any emails quickly. Minuses are very minor. Big storage is a huge plus.
Pros: Excellent sorting. Yahoo divides emails into all, primary, and offers. (you can change it on your end). I mostly just look at primary, and check 'all' maybe once a week. Your senders have icons so its easy to tell them apart. Good filter, very easy to find the email you are looking for.
Cons: two main issues 1) Advertisements come in bold like unread messages, and you cannot delete them. If you click on them that ad opens 2) My preferred method is to check on many emails, and delete all at once. In Gmail, if during that process I accidentally open an email, its no problem. Those I checked remains checked, and I can still delete them. In Yahoo, in the same scenario, if I accidentally open an email while checking others, I loose all my checks.

Yahoo Mail feels reliable and straightforward, and it meets my email needs without any fuss. It’s definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a solid email service!
Pros: One of the standout features for Yahoo Mail for me has to be the whopping 1TB of free storage. Seriously, it’s a game changer! With so many attachments flying around these days—whether it’s photos, important documents, or long-term projects—I never worry about running out of space. It’s super handy for keeping everything organized and accessible. Plus, not having to delete old emails just to make room is a huge relief. Overall, if you’re someone who deals with a lot of emails and attachments, Yahoo Mail makes it easy to manage everything without the stress of storage limits.
Cons: One of the biggest things that bugs me is the sheer number of ads. They can feel quite intrusive, especially when I'm just trying to check my emails quickly. It makes the whole experience a bit more cluttered than I’d like.

Overall I will continue to utilize yahoo mail as it is functional, easy to use, updates well, and has been around half my life.
Pros: I have used yahoo mail since 1999 and it is still going strong to this day regardless of how many other mail options there are.
Cons: I hate that I lost my old email address because I went time without using it which I think shouldn't happen

Overall experience of yahoo is top of the line my customization options I like I can change a lot of things on there
Pros: I like most about Yahoo Mail no bugs and issues the communication is great customer support is super
Cons: Didn’t dislike anything really my Yahoo Mail is how I get all my emails so I never have a problem with it

My overall experience with Yahoo Mail has been generally positive. It's easy to use, with helpful tools for organizing and searching emails, and the large storage space is a plus.
Pros: What I like about Yahoo Mail is how easy it is to organize and manage my emails. The inbox layout is simple and features like folders, filters, and search make it easy to find messages quickly.
Cons: What I like least about Yahoo Mail is that it can sometimes feel cluttered with ads and promotional emails.

My overall experience with Yahoo Mail is that it's great to use to communicate with vendors and all everyday sites and organizations
Pros: What I like about yahoo mail is how great emails are organized in the mail box great for everyday daily use and very convenient to use
Cons: There is nothing I like least about yahoo mail it's a great platform in every way to use to send an receive mail
Cassandra J. · Teacher · Education Management · February 17, 2026
Pros: I loved the ease use with Yahoo Mail. I also loved the HUGE storage capacity. It also seems to block spam well.
Cons: Due to the hacks and security breaches Yahoo Mail has had in the past, I do not feel comfortable using it for work or anything that I use my personal information or card numbers with.

My overall experience is very good and love the user friendly design of the newer version. I just showed my mother how to use it and she is very impressed.
Pros: I love the functionality of yahoo mail. It puts mail in categories and reminds you when you have new mail to read.
Cons: I dont care for the new advertisements that I see come across. This is a new thing that has recently came out but I do realize the service I am using is free.

Overall, my experience is positive as the communication saves time and a stamp. Yahoo mail allows me to stay connected to loved ones and friends.
Pros: What I like most about Yahoo Mail is the ability to be able to stay connected with friends and family. I like the ability to create folders to better organize those emails I keep. To be able to send photos easily to loved ones whom do not reside near you is amazing.
Cons: What I least like about Yahoo Mail is like any email provider, the countless spam emails that are received on a daily basis.
Kimberly S. · Patient Service Representative · Hospital & Health Care · January 4, 2026
The new version is horrible, why can't they at least return to the original until they can find IT person that can fix the many glutches
Pros: Value, for many years under the original version, it was terrific, but the "upgraded" version is awful
Cons: The new software is horrendous. Regular emails go into spam, replies to my emails go into trash. When you click multiple emails to delete them, the check marks disappear after 2 checks. Why they can't go back to the original until they get this fixed, is beyond me. I am ready to leave after over 25 years. It is simply disgraceful

Pretty good. It was a starting email for me and I did use it for a long time before switching to a different product.
Pros: Yahoo mail is easy to access for beginners. The themes can be personalized. The storage is good enough for a beginner.
Cons: It is not that widely used so sometimes people dont check it and ask the communication to be sent on other emails.
Vineet S. · Retail Manager · Retail · December 20, 2025
Overall I enjoyed yahoo! I will even considering going back and making a new account it will be interesting to see all of the new features.
Pros: What I love most about yahoo was the ease of use especially for a young person. It was easy to learn to navigate.
Cons: The least thing I enjoyed about having yahoo was one time I got locked out of my account it was the hardest to gain access again causing me to change over to google.

For day-to-day coordination with outlets and light marketing, Yahoo Mail has been a stable base. I keep threads by region and am able to follow up on promotions without losing context.
Pros: I like the fact that Yahoo Mail covers our day-to-day communication needs without additional costs; staff learn it fast, and I can group conversations by outlet or campaign without training sessions.
Cons: When something odd happens, like delays or bugs, I find that the help pages and support channels are a bit dated, so I often solve issues myself rather than getting a clear quick answer.

I used Yahoo Mail almost every day for a few years and was always very happy with it as an email provider.
Pros: Yahoo was the first free email account that I ever had and I remember being very happy with it. It was free, easy to use with no learning curve.
Cons: I don't recall ever disliking anything about Yahoo Mail. It does what it's supposed to without any security breaches or issues.
Andrea L. · Sales Manager · Financial Services · December 4, 2025
Pros: It is very easily integrated with the news to get daily information while also communicating with the people that you need to on time.
Cons: It doesn’t pull up emails even if I put in keywords properly and takes a while to get used to the variety of interface features.
Anonymous User · Digital Philanthropy Officer · Education Management · November 29, 2025
Pros: A usefull tool you can trust. Its not changing all the time but still stays usable and updated nowadays
Cons: Advertisement can be a little bit annoying, and it doest work the efford to pay for any mail management app
Alejandro M. · Chief · Security and Investigations · November 21, 2025
My overall experience with Yahoo Mail is now becoming horrendous. My email is constantly get hacked and now Yahoo wants to charge me to use the email.
Pros: The learning curve is not difficult, I don't believe there's value for money, the customer support isn't that and the bugs and issues are overwhelming. The communication stink, and marketing stinks. I have had daily use since 1995
Cons: The least thing I like about Yahoo Mail is that it lacks security. For the third time in three months after I've changed my email password add another layer of authentication.
Yanatha D. · Consultant · Entertainment · November 21, 2025
My overall experience has been great. Using mostly desktop for it works even better. I never have a problem with the desktop version.
Pros: I have been using yahoo mail since I was 8 years old. I havent found a single email site that is easier to use yet.
Cons: On the mobile app, there are times when my emails for my inbox will disappear for a bit. I can usually find them eventually but it can still be frustrating.
Crysta B. · Sales · Insurance · October 15, 2025
I use it every day. It’s on my phone too so that’s convenient for me. I can check emails I have for different things. Link bills, family, FB etc
Pros: I can put all my email addresses in one place. It appears to be safe and controls spam well. I use it daily on my phone and on my laptop.
Cons: I have an .att account and it’s always hard to get into. It goes through yahoo but honestly, it’s probably.att.
Alice M. · Boss · Arts and Crafts · October 13, 2025
Pros: A well known website to have an email account, which is to be served as a backup on top of my Gmail account. In terms of the functionality, it is pretty straightforward to use as with Gmail
Cons: As a backup in case of other account being locked up to provide authentication purposes. That isn't really nothing negative about it
