Overall very helpful and easy to use. when we hire new employees they seem to catch on quickly and not too bad of a learning curve.
Pros: I enjoy the ease of use and how quickly I can get my notes done for a patient. I feel that it is easy to schedule patients. You can take old case info if they are here for a new case which is great
Cons: The customer service is sometimes tricky to get a hold of and not always helpful when there are errors or glitches. I wish that you could switch a daily note to progress note if needed when the note isnt complete yet.

Overall experience was fair to not great. I enjoyed some of the free educational classes they offered but their software was hard to get used to and operate with on a daily basis
Pros: I liked their organization of the chart and HIPAA compliance and security. They also had features available for RTM
Cons: I did not enjoy their support team. Cases took a long time to get resolved. Also, it seemed like their system was down a lot

Webpt is a great system to have when you work in the Physical Therapy business. You know your patients information is secure.
Pros: I use webpt on a daily base all day long 5 days a week. Their patient record system is great. Customer support is very prompt in responding to your concern. We have never had a security breeching problem.
Cons: We have issues when webpt does updates, we can't get into webpt, files won't load. error messages that make your refresh.

I have always had a good experience with WebPT when using the EHR. Customer service was also always helpful if there were problems
Pros: Love WebPT for ease of use, great interface, easy scheduling and great note taking capacity. I mostly used it when working for other companies (not so much on my own), so am most familiar with note taking and patient records.
Cons: When looking into a service EHR for my private practice, Web PT was just much too expensive as compared to competitors

Had a positive experience. Often times, WebPT did not have much in the way of technical issues at all, and it did a good job carrying over information from previous note, so there was not much that needed to be added outside of what the day held. Scheduling was very easy and straight forward as well .
Pros: WebPT was constantly making updates to improve their software. Updates usually were timely and did not occur during work hours, so did not impact my ability to perform work related duties/tasks
Cons: I felt like the interface was slightly out dated. Would have liked something more intelligent, and more progressed in terms of options to expedite getting notes done

Pros: The software is fairly user friendly. Applying patient payments is straight forward. Connection to the billing software (Therabill) is convenient. Easy to retrieve treatment records.
Cons: Therapists don't have the option to use minutes instead of units for CPT codes. Billing report doesn't include the time of appointment, which would be helpful to create a session in Therabill if needed.

Pros: It was okay when I was using it. It got too expensive with large price increases each year. I switched to Hello Note. This is a much simpler and easier-to-use system for much less money.
Cons: BEWARE: The data they give if you leave or close your business is unacceptable. There is no way to find individual medical records. We are required to keep medical records accessible to patients and legal medical record requests for 7 -10 years. The records are sent over in hundreds of folders that are randomly named in no logical order. There is no way to find an individual record by name or date of service, Customer support provides no help. They are making me legally out of compliance for not being able to provide required access to records.

I left WebPT due to poor software performance and high cost. I would not chose WebPT again. I feel like WebPT has caused increased burn out, and it has definitely cost us a lot of money in lost revenues.
Pros: It is an all in one EMR that can do everything you need. Other than that there was not much that I liked about it.
Cons: The cost was high for software that constantly crashed or did not work as expected. My least favorite was the inability to calculate the time spent on CPT codes. This was “in the works” years ago, but it has still not been fixed.

I've had WebPT for 3 years now. During that time, we have at least one major outage every quarter, where the system has been down for over a day, impacting my physical therapy clinic. I also decided to switch to a new EMR, where they automatically renewed my contract and are wanting to charge me an early termination fee, even though they had too many outages.
Pros: Not much, but the landing page after login is handy. Other than that, the system is very limited in it's capabilities.
Cons: Functionality and customer service were seriously lacking. The authorization feature is often inaccurate, the visit counts are often incorrect, and their customer service is awful.

Overall the system is very easy to work through and learn
Pros: I love the ease of navigating the system. I was trained for less than 8 hours and was able to move through the system with ease. I highly recommend WebPT in any medical office.
Cons: I don't like that it does not communicate with the other system I work with daily.
Jenna R. · Clinical Guest Coordinator · Medical Practice · April 10, 2025
When it was working it was a fine experience. The scheduling and note modules were good, but the billing module sometimes got confusing. I did not like that the billing module had to be opened separately with an additional log in.
Pros: The scheduling module was easy to navigate, making recurring/group appointments was simple and I liked having the option of deleting the entire group of appointments or on an individual basis.
Cons: Its CONSTANT shut downs. My clinic began printing the next day's schedule out in case we lost access to who was meant to come in. When the site would shut down we'd be locked out of access for an hour minimum which is very stressful in a medical office.
Vilma K. · Office Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 31, 2025
The product is easy to use. You don't have to be a medic person to implement it. It is so easy to navigate different tabs of the software.
Pros: Software ease of use and ability to document and access patients records seamlessly.
Cons: WebPT is quite expensive and has time to time outage which affects its implementation.
Gedion B. · Customer manager · Media Production · March 27, 2025
It was fine. We decided to not make the switch due to the cost.
Pros: It was very self-explanatory. We reviewed this EMR to potentially switch to, but ultimately decided that we would not. I did not need a thorough walk-through as it seemed very easy to understand.
Cons: It was very old looking. There were not a lot of pretty updates, and it seemed like a very old system to use.
Shawnalee K. · Office Manager · Medical Practice · March 24, 2025
Used for medical records for pro bono clinic. It did the job but took forever to navigate and was not very user friendly.
Pros: I liked that there was a free version which was very useful for the pro-bono clinic where we used this software.
Cons: It is not very customizable or user friendly.

Overall, our experience with WebPT has been really positive. It’s made our clinic more efficient with its easy-to-use interface and all-in-one system for scheduling, documentation, and billing. The compliance features give us peace of mind, and having cloud-based access is a huge plus. While the billing system has a bit of a learning curve, the support team is always helpful when we need them. WebPT has definitely helped streamline our workflow and improve patient management. I’d highly recommend it to any rehab therapy practice looking for a reliable EMR.
Pros: WebPT has been a great system for our clinic. It’s super easy to use and designed specifically for rehab therapy, which makes documentation and daily tasks way more efficient. The built-in compliance features help keep us on track with Medicare and HIPAA, so we don’t have to stress about audits. I also love that everything—scheduling, billing, and reporting—is all in one place, making things so much more streamlined. Since it’s cloud-based, we can access patient records from anywhere, which is a huge plus. Their customer support is also really responsive and helpful whenever we need them. Whether you’re a small practice or a larger clinic, WebPT is a solid, reliable EMR that makes running a practice easier.
Cons: The only downside we’ve noticed with WebPT is that the billing system can be a bit complex, especially for those new to the platform. It takes some time to learn, and there can be a bit of a learning curve when it comes to navigating claims and payments. However, once you get the hang of it, it works well, and their support team is always available to help if you run into any issues.

Mostly negative. I frequently would forget random small boxes that needed to be checked and it was difficult to just do my note and report on my session.
Pros: It is thorough and offers a lot of options for reporting on findings from a session.
Cons: Too many boxes. It was visually overwhelming and stressful to do documentation on this platform.
Elizabeth W. · Occupational Therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 22, 2025
I have been with them for 12 years. I have appreciated their EMR, but their terrible customer service and poor folliw up on billing is making me look for a new company after 2 years.
Pros: Compliance issues. They stay on top of bilking regulations for PT.
Cons: The RCM billing team has the worst customer service of any business i know. Their standard of care is it takes 30 days to respond to an email. And most times it is 6 weeks before a response is given. If a billing needs a corrected claim, it takes 2 months or more to correct and we have lost money due to timely filing because to their poor follow up.

Pros: Loved the evaluation feature when writing reports such as initial evals or progress reports
Cons: Constantly kicking me out and not saving my stuff!
Olivia M. · Speech language pathologist · Hospital & Health Care · February 20, 2025
It took a long time to document standard session data and did not provide any graphics to keep up with progress
Pros: It kept information centrally located and provided a good electronic data base for patients.
Cons: It had lots of glitches and would have several down days. It also ran slowly often making data take even longer.
Jade K. · Speech Language Pathologist · Medical Practice · February 20, 2025
It's a great first-time EMR system for companies who are smaller. WebPT was good at assisting you when you needed help and the onboarding was good too.
Pros: Generally, it is easy to use and was a good transition from having used no EMR prior to WebPT.
Cons: Lacks a lot of reports and the reports are not user friendly. No intake forms Billing is through a separate program Not very pediatric friendly
Colbi G. · Billing · Medical Practice · February 20, 2025
Overall, it got the job done. Not the most user friendly and am glad to have switched to new product.
Pros: I enjoyed that the patient's check in time was documented for easy reference.
Cons: Outdated interface. Poor placement of goals when writing daily notes.
Delaney K. · Occupational Therapist · Alternative Medicine · February 20, 2025
Poor, Not responsive to their customers. Excuses are lame.
Pros: Totally undependable, frequent outages lasting hours and days.
Cons: Reliability, frequent outages. Tech support also poor
tommy m. · Owner · Medical Practice · February 18, 2025
My overall experience is Poor- in terms of performance, customer care, cost effectiveness.
Pros: They have lot of features that makes the software look appealing.
Cons: Slow. Takes average 8-10 minutes to do daily documentation and 30-45 minutes for Evaluation. So slow and cumbersome. Also, their software is only compatible for ortho conditions and does not allow us to access for neurological or pediatric conditions. Even to login, there are steps that consumes time. I have been in the Physical therapy field for past 26 years and used WEBPT for past few years. Every year, I am seeing gradual slowness in the software performance. More importantly, many times in a year, they have system glitches that results in many hours to days of not being able to access the patient documentation. With regard to the price, they are very expensive. Worse thing, they charge for patient appointment reminders huge that we end up spending hundreds of dollars each month just to send reminders for patients. With insurance companies cutting the reimbursement, this is insanely expensive software. I would not recommend this software.
Gopinath T. · Physical therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 18, 2025
It doesn’t work! If you’re ok with a system that crashes and has technical issues every other day to the point that you don’t know your schedule and can’t bill for your services then webPT is for you! I wouldn’t wish this garbage company on my worst enemy! Save yourself and stay away!! You’re also better off paying a termination fee to get rid of them! Don’t say I didn’t warn you about this horrible, dishonest and incompetent company!!!!
Pros: Nothing, absolutely NOTHING! It crashes more than it functions so good luck catching up on your notes or billing for your services.
Cons: Everything!!! It’s the absolute worst documentation and billing software you can possibly use!
Nuha H. · Owner and PT · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 18, 2025
At first it was ok but we never received proper training and seemed to start having major problems with not everything going to Therabill, price wasn't worth staying Therabill except for [sensitive content hidden] was not helpful until we sent a big complaint that go to [sensitive content hidden]
Pros: insurance verification worked well, the webpt tech staff was friendly
Cons: seemed out dated and information didn't always go to therabill and we didn't know. The prices were going up and didn't seem worth it. Only communicated to Therabill, Therabill didn't communicate back
