I used to be an Epic Trainer when I worked in healthcare and found the software to be a huge asset to the medical community.
Pros: Ease of use, patient communication, customization. I like that all my health info is consolidated into one platfrom.
Cons: The constant reminders about test I need. I always check the app and don't really need reminders about exams.

My over all experience has been smooth, easy user friendly system keeping all medical software together in one place. Eliminates many different systems.
Pros: I really like EPIC it truly packs a lot of information and processing through A EHR system turning it a stream flow from the beginning at scheduling to finalizing claims and submitted statements to patients.
Cons: I honestly can say I have worked in many EHR and Medical Billing systems and EPIC is a platinum platform for everything Medical. I would not say I dislike anything about EPIC.

Overall it has been a great addition to my work while caring for patients. As I help coordinate patients care, EPIC has made this job easier to support them.
Pros: I really appreciate that Epic has so many easy tabs of information - they are user friendly indeed. I've been using it for many years now, it is so easy to use when looking for lab results, imaging, appointments for my patients.
Cons: What I like least about Epic is that it can at times feel clunky when trying to look for items for multiple patients.

Overall, the experience was good. It is made to be an all-in-one software where referrals and records are easy.
Pros: I like how everything is included in epic, and other places use it so it is easy to see other records.
Cons: It is definitely made for bigger companies because cost is higher. Set up also takes a little while.

Overall, Epic is a powerful and reliable EHR system that delivers on performance and usability. It streamlines clinical workflows and helps staff stay organized and efficient. However, the high price point is a barrier for many practices. If budget is not a constraint, Epic is a solid choice for healthcare organizations looking for a dependable, fast, and user-friendly platform.
Pros: Epic stands out for its intuitive interface and fast performance. Despite being a feature-rich platform, it鈥檚 relatively easy to navigate once you鈥檙e familiar with the layout. The system loads quickly and handles large volumes of patient data without noticeable lag, which makes a real difference during busy clinic days.
Cons: The biggest drawback is the cost. Epic is one of the more expensive EHR solutions on the market, and for smaller practices, the licensing and implementation fees can be a significant financial burden. The value for money doesn鈥檛 always feel justified, especially when some features go underutilized.

Overall, my experience with Epic has been positive. It鈥檚 a powerful and reliable platform that effectively centralizes many aspects of healthcare operations, which helps improve organization and coordination. While there is a learning curve and some workflows can be time-consuming, the system becomes much more efficient with regular use. Its robust features, strong data management, and wide adoption across healthcare organizations make it a valuable tool despite some usability challenges.
Pros: What I liked most about Epic is how comprehensive and integrated the platform is. It brings together patient records, scheduling, billing, and communication in one place, which really streamlines workflows and reduces the need for multiple systems. The user interface is consistent across modules, and once you get familiar with it, it becomes very efficient to navigate. I also appreciate the strong reporting tools and the ability to customize certain features to fit different organizational needs.
Cons: What I liked least about Epic is that the system can feel overly complex and difficult to learn, especially for new users. The interface isn鈥檛 always intuitive, and it often takes significant training to become comfortable using it efficiently. Additionally, some workflows require too many clicks, which can slow down productivity. Customization options, while powerful, can also make the system inconsistent across different organizations, leading to confusion when switching environments.

Overall: good! Once patients are logged in, navigating the system is easy: adding data, contacting doctors.
Pros: Adding patient鈥檚 family medical history is the simplest I鈥檝e ever seen in an online platform, which means patients are more likely to fully fill out the data.
Cons: It鈥檚 not always easy for patients to find the sign in portal. It doesn鈥檛 pop up via search engines, so clients need to save it.

Unlike other similar systems, Epic is super easy to set up and maintain. Patients can access their information easily from the clean interface, which saves a lot of time for the nurses and doctors.
Pros: The user-friendly design makes it easy to access medical records, upcoming appointments, prescription information, and ways to contact your doctor or nurse.
Cons: I have no complaints! Overall, I dislike the idea of having my information stored by 3rd parties, but so far I haven't had any issues.

My overall experience I have used Epic in a hospital setting and is very user friendly, easy to navigate and clear text search.
Pros: Epic is an EMR company usually for hospital providers in a large corporation, we like because is easy to use and performs stream searches for medical providers.
Cons: Epic was not very friendly when it comes to searching patient information, you have to give multiple identifiers to search for a patient.

My overall experience with Epic is great. I really like it and it suitable for larger organization. Work flows smoothly using Epic. It works really well after training. I hundred percent recommend epic to everyone.
Pros: My experience with epic have been wonderful. It works very easily once you know how to use it. It performs good for large hospitals or health-care facilities. Large and complex work management can be done using Epic. The customer service is also very responsive and helpful. Honestly, i have used Epic for four months and never faced any bugs and issues. It is good value for large hospitals and health-care facilities.
Cons: It does require training to use as it is little bit difficult to use in beginning. It is not made for small organization due to high cost.

Overall happy this portal software exists, but i don't think the hospital uses it enough. Or checks for messages enough.
Pros: Overall happy with this product, but there are definitely some glitches that need to worked through.
Cons: It is the software that Boston Children's Hospital uses for their portal. Whenever a message is posted in the portal, i get a notification, which is annoying.

Pros: Epic is user friendly, provides immediate patient and provider updates and is a great way to track patient care.

Long time using it with different medical providers; in general information is clear, easy access, once you get used to where main info is located, very easy to use.
Pros: Clinical information is very organized, you can access notes and records depending on its category, access is faster that way.
Cons: No negatives from my end, sometimes I would find the process of logging in a little delayed since it would always sends codes to your phone, it feels secure but double process.

I began using Epic in 2011 when the hospital I worked at first began the transition from paper charts to electronic ones. During the first year, there were many physicians who resigned from the hospital because they weren't willing to give the program time, however most other employees really liked Epic after getting used to it.
Pros: Using an electronic medical record program helped a lot with losing patient charts and other information, along with ease of documentation
Cons: The thing(s) I disliked about Epic was how hard it could be sometimes to find information on your patient, but mostly that the program would "go down" multiple times every week until all (or most) of the kinks were worked out.

Pros: easy to use, amazing learning video, I loved the way we sign off procedures, and that we can single sign in
Cons: There was not anything negative. This was my favorite system to use in healthcare. The most simple system yet
