DeskAlerts helps internal communication teams reach every employee in seconds and reduce message overload across the organization. Employees receive only the updates relevant to them — through pop-ups, tickers, mobile alerts, or digital signage — ensuring maximum visibility even for remote and frontline staff. Send policy changes, leadership updates, or safety notices instantly, without relying on crowded inboxes. Target groups by department, location, or language to keep communication clear and relevant. Use built-in surveys to gather feedback three times faster than email and analyze campaign effectiveness with real-time statistics. DeskAlerts turns internal communication into a transparent, measurable process that keeps everyone informed, aligned, and ready to act.

We have multiple teams utilizing the administration portal to distribute communications. From what's going on to system outages
Pros: Deskalerts is quite intuitive and customisable. It gets used to notify our users of system outages around the Trust.
Cons: Some of the features that we could use are an additional add-on, unfortunately with the current economy climate the more features included the better.

brilliant overall experience from deployment to easy use of the console and sending out alerts, updates, and surveys, made super easy.
Pros: ease of setup ease of deployment excellent functions excellent support
Cons: Creating templates could be made easier, especially with company logos etc

Pros: I researched top Alerting type systems for work environment.
Cons: We needed to constant updates to the client interface but that has been fixed now.

Poor, support team tried to fix issues but never could. We requested a refund and were denied, after making our case and explaining we hadn't been able to use the product we were simply ignored.
Pros: We didn't find anything that we liked about the software except for the demo
Cons: We spent over a month trying to get it to work and it had problem after problem, from having to have prerequisite software installed, multiple support articles that were different, no resolution on issues for example the cloud server would stall and stop sending alerts, had to request support to reboot over and over, no resolution

Pros: I've used DeskAlerts to deliver IT warnings regarding planned downtime's and technical challenges. While our email platform has been having troubles, DeskAlerts allows individuals to view the notifications even if they are undergoing other technological issues.
Cons: It might be challenging to determine whether users have seen published messages. Some issues, such as the inability to stop the display are fixed swiftly by the support staff in no time, which i should give more credits to the support and developer team.

we have become completely agile
Pros: different channels to use and easy to react to market changes
Cons: I really did not find any cons because this is very comprehensive solution

We have a lot of users that don't use email much, so DeskAlerts provides us a means to communicate when we have various system outages or planned downtimes without relying on email.
Pros: Easy to use to send alerts internally to users' desktops.
Cons: In the past there have been a lot of quality issues with the system (bugs), but lately the system has been working much better for us and the issues impacting us have been addressed.

DeskAlerts allows us to quickly and easily communicate with our users and, critically, allows us to report on who has (and hasn't) received the alerts. The alerts are very configurable and allow us to send fully branded messages at the click of a button (or two)
Pros: Easy and intuitive to send out mass (or targeted) communications to our users. Gives simple, but clear, reports on how many users (and who) have seen them. DeskAlerts themselves (the company) are friendly and very responsive to support requests and feature development. DeskAlerts is being actively developed and improved with new features and tweaks to existing ones.
Cons: Older versions of the software could be a bit clunky and buggy, but the latest versions have been much better.

Pros: Easy to train and use. Simple application .
Cons: We had some feedback which were given directly to your colleagues.
Wissam Z. · Senior IT manager · Logistics and Supply Chain · June 6, 2021
We were looking for an easy-to-use and nice looking "popup" tool with delegation capabilities and straight-forward notification push (we need a fast annoucement system). Deskalert do the job, with limited resources. You may use it avery basically or even use one of the numerous features that help you to meet your specific needs.
Pros: Easy to use to reach users to inform them about important information. Good layout and capabilities. Delegation is possible to allw users to use the tool for their own purposes.
Cons: Deployement of agent was had but they enhanced the auto-deploy feature (not yet used) and self branding customisation remains limited even if the message content is fully customisable.

DeskAlerts solve issues we had around notifying our staff of important issues and events. Previously we relied upon email which was often ignored or missed.
Pros: The software is easy to use and fairly intuitive to navigate around
Cons: The interface looks a little dated compared to how most GUI's are built nowadays.
Christian P. · IT Director · Architecture & Planning · June 27, 2019
Less calls to the help-desk - less stress for the users in case of some failure - capacity to inform people in emergency situations.
Pros: The capacity to publish rapidly to all users or specific ones important messages about use of critical product like EMR Electronic Medical Record - or important general informations
Cons: Sometimes difficulties to check who have seen or not the published messages. Some bugs like unable to stop the display - but the support team correct the bugs relatively quickly.
Bruno l. · CIO · Hospital & Health Care · June 12, 2019
DeskAlerts has been useful for me in sending IT messages about scheduled shutdowns or technical difficulties. This has been better than using email since our email software has been experiencing bugs, so DeskAlerts makes it so that people can see the alerts even with other technical problems.
Pros: I liked that I did not have to rely on an email system and the variety of different options for who to send messages to.
Cons: Only thing is that the company has had trouble moving to outside alerts for those outside the company but that hasn't been within my scope.
Anonymous User · Counseling Intern · Mental Health Care · April 5, 2019
Pros: Very easy to install and configure. Easy to use to send alerts. API works great to automate with scripts or security systems.
Cons: A few bugs here and there but they update often so you usually won't be dealing with them for long.
