Its a solid employee recognition platform that helps improve engagement and team morale when used properly. I liked how it encourages peer 2 peer appreciation and makes recognition more visible across the organization. At the same time, the success of the platform really depends on company culture and how actively people participate in it. Overall it’s a good tool for building a culture of appreciation in the workplace
Pros: It is easy to recognize and appreciate coworkers in a public way. It helps create a more positive work culture and makes employees feel noticed for their efforts. The interface is pretty simple to use and I also liked the rewards and points system since employees can redeem gift cards or other perks. Its especially useful for remote or hybrid teams where recognition can sometimes get overlooked
Cons: Sometimes the recognition can start feeling repetitive or forced if people are just sending quick generic messages. It also depends heavily on company participation — if managers and employees don’t use it consistently, the impact feels limited. The platform can also feel a little cluttered in some areas and the rewards system could be better in terms of options

My experience with Kudos was something that our Supervisors would randomly use as an opportunity to get a break and interact with our colleagues both while having fun.
Pros: Kudos was Fun and a great learning tool. I like the way after hours of studying, learning and reviewing could be wrapped up in a game of Kudos!

Cons: I absolutely loved everything about Kudos. It was a fun way of learning and seeing errors that maybe needed more attention.

I love how Kudos provides a positive space for my staff and me to recognize each other. It's always great to be acknowledged, especially when unexpected. Kudos definitely builds team spirit!
Pros: I am thoroughly impressed with Kudos' user friendly design. The platform is exceptionally smooth and intuitive to navigate, which enhances the overall user experience. As a manager, I have found that Kudos is an invaluable tool for boosting employee motivation and engagement.
Cons: While redeeming earned points within the Kudos platform, I've occasionally encountered instances where the system experiences noticeable lag and freezes.

Pros: Very easy to learn, you get how to use it in approximately ten minutes. The UI is intuitive and very high value product for what it does.
Cons: Redeeming rewards feels intentionally like a hurdle. It's sometimes slow or unreliable with bugs in redeeming.

Its really great to appreciate collegues on kudos portal. The employees get really happy by getting appreciated by their fellow collegues and keep those appreciation on public post.
Pros: Variety of rewards have been increased from the years. Also the User interface is very user friendly and can be easily understood.
Cons: The rewards redemption is slightly slow as compared to previous years which was instant. But it can definitely improved.

I enjoy using Kudos in my work environment to recognize my coworkers efforts at collaboration. It's something I recommend to companies wanting improved work satisfaction.
Pros: Made it easier to brighten someone's day and recognize good work. It's a nice little extra perk for employees.
Cons: Not all rewards are easily redeemed. I have a reward I've not been able to use still. I didn't get an answer to my question about it.

It effectively supports peer-to-peer and manager-to-employee recognition, helping build a more positive workplace culture and boost engagement.
Pros: Makes employee recognition simple, helps engage part of work life, helps morale and visibility of appreciation across teams.
Cons: Limited advanced functionality and customization overall the core usage is fantastic and there are not many cons.

That information is false. They do give you the points; however, you are unable to use them.” If you want it a little more direct or a little more casual, I can tweak it either way.
Pros: You received your points and try to but gift cards. And you will never receive the second email and then you email support team and they canceled your orders and give you back the points and the blame your Company and say they don’t have enough points for to use yours crazy.
Cons: Hello Support Team, I’m reaching out to request assistance with an issue I’m experiencing. Please let me know the next steps. Thank you. Urgent support Hello Support Team, This is an urgent matter and I need assistance as soon as possible. Please advise. Thank you. Workplace/client-related

I really enjoy the ease of use and the point earning system that allows employees to then trade those points in for prizes or gifts
Pros: I like the ease of using Kudos to either send praise or recognition to other employees or colleagues.
Cons: One thing I do not like about kudos is that they have a cap on the amount of points that you can send.
Megan P. · Specialist · Hospital & Health Care · September 4, 2025
Using Kudos has been a great experience! Bragging on my coworkers when they have done a great job or have helped me out with something has been great!
Pros: I really like the fact that you can brag on your coworkers for the great job they do. It really builds team morale.
Cons: There really isn't anything I don't like about Kudos, it is very easy to use and helps the team connect.
Anonymous User · Care Management · Hospital & Health Care · August 27, 2025
Our team is more united, especially across departments. Their employee satisfaction scores have taken a leap since putting Kudos in place.
Pros: Kudos makes peer-to-peer recognition both fun and meaningful. Shoutouts, values tagging, and leaderboards keep morale high. We bring it up in weekly huddles and it’s just sort of become a habit.
Cons: The analytics are a little shallow would love more about engagement patterns, or manager impact over time.
Owais I. · CEO · Information Technology and Services · June 8, 2025
Pros: With Kudos, we are able to improve the workplace positive culture. Makes the employees feel more encouraged through peer to peer recognition and rewarding system. Offers customizable rewards that fits the organization needs and budget.
Cons: There is nothing that doesn't work about the tool. I feel that the peer to peer recognition is subject to bias.
Francesco P. · Director · Music · May 21, 2025

My overall experience with Kudos is pretty good. I enjoy giving coworkers and peers shout outs for a job well done or for going the extra mile
Pros: I like that it gives suggestions on key points to write about and that it has GIF
Cons: What i like least is that I have to click next, next, or previous. It would be nice to have all items on one page so I can scroll up or down to make edits
Kenya S. · Program Manager · Hospital & Health Care · March 28, 2025
My overall experience with Kudos has been great. It's a great tool for employee recognition. Use it from time to time.
Pros: What I like about Kudos is the user interface for the application. Very easy to use.
Cons: What I like least about Kudos us the occasional glitches the program has. While it's minimal and I don't mind it is a thing I'd like to point out.
Brandon P. · Practice Coordinator · Hospital & Health Care · March 24, 2025

Provides a holistic approach to employee engagement driving lasting performance.
Pros: A scalable solution for rewarding, celebrating and surveying employees. Creates a culture where care, connection and gratitude drive engagement and high performance.
Cons: Expansive customizations and engagement with Kudos makes it friendly. No complaints reported.
Felix R. · CEO, CMO and Co-Founder · Computer Software · February 10, 2025
Great tool - but not the only tool needed in order to implement real positive employee culture. Some Management use it as the only thing and makes it a waste of time and effort.
Pros: Better than stickers, pizza parties, and suggestion boxes. Encourages employees to see the best in others while putting their own best foot forward - BUT ONLY IF USED RIGHT and followed up with more than platitudes.
Cons: It can be a little cheesy. Some employees jump on board with it, but it also gets a lot of hype in the beginning and starts to wane until they're all reminded.
Brenda C. · Office Manager · Construction · February 4, 2025
It's been positive! I haven't cashed any coins in just yet but I've got quite a few and I enjoy finding reasons to give them away!
Pros: The fact that it suggests recommends and reminds us to give Kudos
Cons: It was originally not logical where and how to give the coins/kudos
David Joseph C. · Inside Sales · Public Safety · January 29, 2025
The experience with Kudos tends to be positive, particularly when the platform is used thoughtfully and as part of a broader employee engagement strategy. Organizations that actively encourage its use and tailor it to fit their specific culture tend to get the most out of the platform.
Pros: The ability to publicly share recognition posts allows teams to celebrate successes together, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Cons: For smaller teams or organizations, the platform's features might feel unnecessary or too complex, especially if the company doesn’t have a large workforce to foster widespread use.
Jared L. · HR Manager · Apparel & Fashion · January 17, 2025
Overall the experience with Kudos has been positive. Look forward to using it
Pros: What I like the most about Kudos is being able to recognize others for their work and performance
Cons: Kudos could use a better overall design and layout within their interface
