Microsoft Defender XDR

Pros: It is a great XDR solution It is very helpful and accurate as an endpoint protection software.

Cons: Has offered all round protection without issues.

Pros: - The dashboard's simplicity - Detection and response - Automatic updating via Windows Updates

Cons: - Technical knowledge - A lot of settings that also require some technical knowledge - Notifications on user level

Pros: The product is simple to use. Plus, it is software protection that I don't want to live without!

Cons: There's nothing that I dislike about Microsoft 365 Defender.

Pros: Microsoft 365 defender continuously monitoring the system & immediately alert the user whenever it found threats/ malware. Email security helps in safeguard from phising mail, Malware & spam mails. We can also have option to allow the threats which was blocked by defender wrongly by mistake. It has seamless integration with Microsoft 365 services.

Cons: Integration with Non- Microsoft or third party services is challenging

Pros: It continuously monitor the system & if they found any security threats like malware, suspicious activity it automatically block the process. By using AI & Machine learning helps in reducing the human efforts & saves time by automate the process.

It analyzes vast amounts of data to identify suspicious activities, malicious files, and potential security breaches, providing actionable insights and alerts to security teams.

Cons: False Positives and Overlapping Alerts: Like any security solution, Microsoft 365 Defender may generate false positive alerts or overlap with other security products. This can result in additional work for security teams in terms of investigating and filtering out false positives or managing redundant alerts.

Pros: It protects all the way around and I don't have to worry

Cons: There wasn't anything that I didn't like the user interface was great as well

Pros: Data security with Microsoft 365 Defender is excellent and the user experience management also is incredible. Data processing is cost effective and the integration to other third party tools is amazing. The access control tools and alert functions are very responsive.

Cons: None at all the Microsoft tool was easy to implement and the configuration also was very simple process.

Cons: Menu, interfaccia e configurazione confusionari e poco intuitivi.

Pros: Since we use MS products, it will be ideal for providing full efficiency protection as an institution that is familiar with and knows this system. Anti-malware, anti-phishing, Antispam It provides secure connections, prevents security vulnerabilities in file attachments, provides a safe working environment for other additional software (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, )

Cons: It needs to provide more documentation and descriptive data.

Pros: The machine learning capability of detecting and responding to adversarial attacks and threats. The integration with Azure Sentinel makes it more robust.

Cons: Reports seem repetitive as dashboards already provide a consolidated report.

Pros: The thing I liked most about Microsoft 365 Defender was that it was very easy to use and very reliable. The most beautiful thing I also like about the program is the ease and creativity of the programmatic development in this work

Cons: In fact, this program requires some updates in order to make a difference between its competitors, there are some programs that precede it by stages, especially the speed and lightness of performance.

Pros: Vulnerability status for web browsing is shown per the version being used and when the browser updates, Defender updates as well. Effective blocks the majority of spam and phishing email attacks. Risk level attacks are practical and useful.

Cons: There seem to be to many false positives. Configuration is not that user friendly.

Pros: Easily to use and has very good protection. Scans everything.

Cons: Nothing really stands out that I don’t like.

Pros: I like that it came free with our new laptops. Everything offered is pretty straightforward forward and it runs without interruptions in the background. Does not overload the system.

Cons: Others offer the same for free (AVG). You can't plan scans. To perform simple tasks you have to click six-eight times. It looks outdated. It could have a more fun and friendly interface.

Pros: I have been using it since university, it is my first experience in this world and I feel very comfortable wearing it. It's easy and they keep getting better. I am a user for many years.

Cons: Although I feel comfortable using this software, I see that it is very unlimited and more so for the free version and for many locations. I am from Puerto Rico and the e-store has NEVER worked, not even for rewards, for the price it is very UNLIMITED.

Pros: It is a standard given piece of technology that is well known and used by tech savvy individuals and make things easier for anyone who uses this product.

Cons: It does not have top level options when it comes to the settings and layout of the product as other softwares in the arena does.

Pros: The software you know will work with Windows no matter the version and gets updated frequently. It will stop viruses and malware in its tracks and I have not had an issues for as long as I can remember. It will even detect problematic software before its installed.

Cons: It may not give you as much visibility into the virus and what its doing or give you updates on user pcs and how up to date it is but overall it does what needs to be done

Pros: Their malware protection is very effective, I like how my personal laptop works more efficiently against unwanted sites, viruses etc. that can harm my files and my laptops performance.

Cons: I can say there's to be improve for supporting non-Microsoft file types.
