FloQast

Pros: Allows easily to track tasks to do, who needs to them and when. Organizing the whole task monitoring process in way that is easy to track.

Cons: The files attached within FloQast tasks require a separate access to FloQast OneDrive. This model creates inefficiency in managing two access models for one application.

Pros: FloQast is a great tool to track many task, show KPIs and it's really helpful to keep amortization schedules.

Cons: The AutoRec amortization is really good, but could have additional tools like more customizable fields and also additional amortization methods

Pros: The added efficiency, transparency and controls that FloQast allows for during our close process. We utilize the platform to complete reconciliations and checklist items each month.

Cons: Jumping around to sign off on various reconciliations can be time consuming due to the rec's opening in a new window each time if you are selecting them from the timeline view. I would like to see this change to opening in a pop up within the window.

Pros: I like how easy is to use FloQast. The Sofware keeps all the tasks organized and everyone aligns with the due dates. I like the auto reconciliation feature. It syncs perfectly with our Netsuite system. We use Floqast every day, we also use it to monitor our tasks daily.

Cons: Currently having a small detail issue with the Auto-Rec feature since it is not manually picking from our Netsuite system. I would need to download the TB and upload manually instead of FloQast picking automatically from our Netsuite connection

Pros: It's intuitive and works the way accountants think! Its also quick and simple to implement and manage on the fly.

Cons: Minor items - daily occurrence tasks are not available, and inability to archive flux analysis that no longer apply without losing the history.

Pros: What I liked most about FloQast is its seamless integration with existing accounting systems, which made the close process much more efficient and streamlined. The automation of reconciliations and tasks reduced the manual workload significantly, allowing our team to focus on higher-value activities.

Cons: What I liked least about FloQast was the initial learning curve for the team. While the platform is user-friendly, getting everyone up to speed took some time.

Pros: –Love the ability to reconcile accounts with daily/push sync –LOVE the ability to maintain ALL of our Finance workflows in one system –LOVEEEE FloQast's constant pursuit of innovation – they're not getting left behind in an ever evolving FinTech landscape – and they truly want, listen, and respond to customer feedback

Cons: My cons are very minor for FQ. –Notes can only be left on a checklist/reconciliation item. You can't add a note in the Notes tab. –No task priorities (high, medium, low, etc.) or tags available in Projects. –You can view reconciliations and checklists together in Folders or separately across all folders, but you can't view all reconciliations and checklists together across folders (except in Todos but you can't filter there and only shows your items, not the team's).

Pros: It makes keeping track of what you need to do and what your team needs to do so easy. Centralized tracking, documentation, etc is invaluable! We've also been using Floqast more and more to help us automate some of our more manual processes and it's been an excellent transition.

Cons: There is nothing I can think of that I would call something I "like least" about Floqast.

Pros: Ease of use and implementation, easy to onboard new users!

Cons: Only a select few features aren't available, but FloQast has confirmed they're on the way!

Pros: It is very user friendly. The notification emails when reconciliations change is a great feature. It also is a good tracker to prioritize the month end closing.

Cons: I do not have any cons right now. I have been a user for our monthly close process. I hope to use more features on FQ in the future.

Pros: I love that FloQast has the ability to consolidate accounting functions into one centralized location. I enjoy the fact that all the accounting documentation can be accessible within the FloQast system, and it is linked directly into our SOX compliance module.

Cons: I would like to see more in-app linking between the modules and consistency between the features in each module.

Pros: I love how we now have a dynamic tool for organizing all of our month-end tasks. No more excel checklists for us! FloQast has allowed us to cut our month-end close time from barely closing by the last day of the month to 15 business days!

Cons: Really my only complaint is not being able to duplicate prepaid items in the AutoRec feature. We have several monthly invoices that are prepaid, so being able to duplicate last month's item and just change the invoice number and dates would be wonderful.

Pros: Ease of use and easy to see close progress on one page. Remind is a GREAT tool for those always waiting on documents from other departments!

Cons: Can't say that I like anything least! This tool is a God send!

Pros: I love how responsive FloQast is to customer feedback and questions.

Cons: I would like to see improvement on variance analysis website design.

Pros: Overall, this is a great product. It is user friendly and easy to use. The ability to upload existing excel reconciliations makes month end close more efficient.

Cons: Our company has multiple locations and divisions. The account reconciliation dashboard can become overwhelming because of the number of accounts to be reconciled.

Pros: I love the fact we can import transactions from our general ledger into Floqast and can reconcile on a daily basis. This allows our whole team to see the reconciliations rather than just having it in an excel sheet. At first, we were a bit skeptical, but since the change we will never go back. The time saved is literally 3+ hours on the workday.

Cons: We are working through any improvements with our Floqast representative. Most of the time it is only issues based on connectivity, we have yet to run into any issues.

Pros: I think the best thing about FloQast is the ease to which a new user can understand and successfully use the new software. No extensive training was required for my department to implement the software. It is intuitive and very user friendly. The individual assigned to guide us through the set-up did a great job, and I loved the follow-up meetings after the go-live date to ensure we didn't have any issues. I also like the analytics component of the software, which we didn't have previously.

Cons: I wish that FloQast had better functionality for role-based security, but we get around this issue by creating multiple companies and then limiting the access to those "companies." Because I can still view all of the data from a combined-company approach, it is only a small inconvenience.

Pros: Easy to work with interface, Being able to set task checklist reminders, and most importantly the AutoRec Matching tool.

Cons: I have honestly enjoyed my experience using FloQast from the start and can't think of any drawbacks.

Cons: My only negative for FloQast would be in the Flux Reporting module, and specifically the flux report layout process. It is still a bit more difficult to make modifications to the reports, especially if your flux reporting is done at the financial statement line item level. However, based on past experience, I am sure that changes to this process are on the FloQast roadmap since many of the improvements that I've seen in the system over the past three years are the direct result of customer comments/suggestions!

Pros: FloQast is a great period management software, and it provides greater visibility into our month-end close progress. FloQast functionality allows us to track reconciliation and checklist items separately

Cons: Honestly, there is not much shortfall to mention here but it would be great to have an option to link supporting docs (stored in a cloud base) that are relevant to the reconciliations

Pros: Floqast is very easy to use and is visually quite simple. I love that it shows a screenshot of due dates and how far along tasks are so I can tell just from a glance how close I am to finishing close, or other projects. I can put my weekly to-do tasks in as well so nothing slips through the cracks. The weekly to-do lists that are emailed out are also very helpful in deciding what my week is going to look like and where my focus should be.

Cons: There isn't much I don't like about Floqast. It can sometimes take a few minutes for the Trial Balance totals to update, but it's nothing outrageous.

Pros: Streamlines close checklist with auto notifications and keeps all close data in one place.

Cons: N/A - currently we have been able to set up & customize the way we need.

Pros: Easier for Finance and accounting department to work together efficiently during the close process. Automates various aspects of the financial close process, reducing the need for manual, time-consuming tasks and potentially minimizing errors.

Cons: Nothing specifically to mention here for my scope of work in Floquast
