It stands out for its AI-powered document automation and intake tools, though reviewers cite bugs and limited billing features as drawbacks. Overall, I really like the platform and would highly recommend it. My only suggestion would be to have recurring training session for new features/personalization and.
Pros: I really love how easy Neos is a "one stop shop" for all areas of case management. I like how it covers everything from document management and collection, contacts, time entries and more to create a lot of in sync harmony for my cases. I also love that I can directly tag emails into the platform so my emails can integrate easily.
Cons: Because Neos is so inclusive, it took a little while to navigate. Some of the tabs/features we don't necessarily use in our practice and it can be overwhelming having so many options/tags. I think there are ways to personalize your experience but there are so many features I haven't quite had a session on just style personalization.

SO far its been great but we are still building to fit our needs and as indicated above I may find more as we get more into utilizing it but we are fairly new and still building to it.
Pros: The organizing abilities, the info linking abilities as well as the linking info to companion cases.
Cons: The Em tagging and how the features to not activate consistently. I may find more as we get more into utilizing it but we are fairly new and still building to it.

Pros: The case management organization and ability to connect with peers. It allows our firm to descriptively connect, edit and update case files.
Cons: Search engine could be more productive in case information. For an example to be able to search by clients description that is enlisted on the incident information.

I have been using Neos for over 3 years and i am pleased with How the program runs everything you need in one place the new AI feature is a great tool with support
Pros: Neos one stop Shop everything you need and resources available the new features are a great value that helps you navigate through the system

My overall experience with NEOS is super positive. It makes day to day life a lot easier. However, there are a couple things, like the texting.
Pros: I like that it is secure and hard to access without the correct log in information, for example a company key. I also like having all the clients files in one place.
Cons: The thing I like least about NEOS is when I click messages I don't see my messages. When I text on NEOS, I would expect it to be in messages, but when I open it up it is not there. The text also does not appear on a clients page.

I use Assembly Neos for managing case workflows and marketing by organizing client and matter information. I also appreciate how well it organizes case information and deadlines.
Pros: I like its modern, responsive platform, but there's a learning curve for advanced workflow features.
Cons: There can be a slight learning curve with some of the more complex features. Some of the more advanced workflow automation takes a little time to learn.

I use Assembly Neos for legal case management, helping me resolve organization issues and enhance client communication. I love its ease of use and customization features. Some improvements could be made with email app merging, but overall, it's beneficial, integrating well with QuickBooks and Case Status.
Pros: I love how easy Assembly Neos is to use. I had no prior experience working for a law firm, yet I found it simple to learn and get the hang of things. Everything I can think of is organized, and the ability to create custom tabs for your law firm is really helpful. The integrations with QuickBooks and Case Status really put everything at my fingertips.
Cons: I definitely think there can be some areas of improvement. Sometimes we have issues with the merging on the email app with tagging, but not much.

I LOVE Neos! I'm usually the person that they go to when I have to open a case and this has made my life so much easier!
Pros: I like that Neos is super user-friendly! It's clean and very organized. I can easily find whatever I need like documents, reports, or all the clients we have. It's definitely worth the money and I also like how everything is safe when it comes to security. One benefit that also sticks out to me is the customer support tab and how helpful and easy it is to manage through!
Cons: Honestly, I don't think that there is anything that I like "the least" about Neos. As I said before, Neos is organized and easy to use. I feel like working through Neos and all the tabs are very self explanatory.

Easy to use and friendly and efficient training after migrating from our previous case management software.
Pros: The ability to streamline and centralize workflow. Thorough training and follow ups during the transition.
Cons: That there’s no way to link our Neos calendar to our firm’s Outlook calendar. Also, it would be easier if the Outlook ad in automatically defaulted to case search (rather than provider search).
Ashley M. · Litigation Support · Law Practice · December 16, 2025
Overall, Neos has been a solid platform for running the operational side of the firm. It brings structure, organization, and consistency to case management, which helps teams work more efficiently and deliver a better client experience. That said, while the core system is strong, delays around integrations and communication have been frustrating and have limited our ability to fully leverage the platform from a reporting and growth standpoint. With better responsiveness, Neos could be significantly more impactful.
Pros: Neos does a good job of keeping everything centralized and organized, which makes day-to-day operations smoother across the firm. It helps our teams stay aligned, keeps cases moving, and provides consistent data we can rely on. From my side, having one system that supports case flow, reporting, and visibility across departments is a big plus.
Cons: The biggest downside has been around integrations and responsiveness. Despite submitting a simple request for read-only API access, we haven’t received any response for weeks. This has limited our ability to implement offline conversion tracking and build reporting dashboards leadership is actively asking for. When Neos positions itself as having an open API and being collaborative with client teams, the lack of follow-up here has been frustrating and disruptive.
Joseph C. · Markreting Director · Law Practice · December 16, 2025
My overall experience has been genuinely pleasant and fruitful. I am very happy with NEOS and am proud of its integration in our firm.
Pros: What I like the most about NEOS is by far its ease for access. The accessibility of the application is unpresented. Its intake, tabs, documents, financial and and even calendar options all contribute to creating daily functions as efficient as possible. Furthermore, as a first time user of these applications; I was able to quickly learn and master due to the ease of function and quality of life.
Cons: What I most dislike is its recent lag and slower loading times. This may be due to the recent large updates. These lags don't make it inaccessible but is a noticeable difference from older models.
Jhovanny A. · Receptionist- New Client Liason · Law Practice · December 16, 2025
I had never worked with this type of system before and it took some getting used to. The training videos were a huge help! Everything I need is in one place.
Pros: Ease of use, clarity of content, document management is simple and allows all users to see updates in real-time.
Cons: Would like an easier way to generate new documents not already in the system. and would like all functions to operate correctly without having to call Support
Sarah G. · Paralegal · Legal Services · December 16, 2025
Overall, it is a great case management platform that is reliable, efficient, and easy to work with..
Pros: Well organized, intuitive, and easy to use, making case tracking efficient and stress free overall!.
Cons: The Outlook plugin doesn't work very well. Also, some things are duplicate and would be nice if you filled in one tab if it would auto

We have been pleased so far. Having used Trialworks for over 20 years, we were a bit nervous switching, but other than a few minor issues, we haven't had any problems.
Pros: The organization of case documents, ease of uploading documents to it and having access to secure AI.
Cons: The tabs are a bit clunky and it can be difficult to find the information I'm looking for. Having come from Trialworks, the tabs in that program made more sense and it was super easy to find the information I was looking for.
Heather B. · Legal Assistant, Office Manager · Law Practice · December 16, 2025
NEOS HAS BEEN AN EASY TRANSITION FROM OUR PREVIOUS SOFTWARE. IT HAS BEEN EASY TO LEARN AND IT CONTINUALLY IMPROVES AND UPDATES.
Pros: I LIKE THAT NEOS IS STREAMLINED AND ORGANIZED. THE DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM KEEPS FILES AND CASES ORGANIZED AND DOCUMENTS EASY TO FIND.
Cons: I DO NOT LIKE THAT EMAILING DOCUMENTS FROM NEOS IS DIFFICULT. I FIND THAT I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD A DOCUMENT OUTSIDE OF NEOS IN ORDER TO SEND IT VIA EMAIL EASILY.
NICOLE F. · LEGAL ASSISTANT · Law Practice · December 16, 2025
It was an easy transition for me. I see Neos being a great tool once our firm learns how to use additional features.
Pros: I really like the document management and how we can customize and organize the TYPE of document for easier searching. Our IT has had security testing done, and were told our office has the the highest scores (least threats). The software is user friendly, and highly customizable.
Cons: Our firm needs more support to know how to use unused features and learn how to customize even more so the software is more beneficial to us.
Amy V. · Paralegal · Political Organization · December 16, 2025
It has been very helpful managing our clients and their cases. I dont know where we would be or how we would manage without this system.
Pros: Everything on NEOS is great. The thing i like the most is the notes tab because you can always go back to see what was done if someone is not here.
Cons: The number of tabs you can have opened, i will not allow you to open as many as you want it makes you close tabs in order to open a new one.
Jetta H. · Intake Zar · Legal Services · December 16, 2025
Neos has a clean, easy to learn interface with most law office management essentials built in so work can be done in one place quickly and accurately. It's cloud-based so users can work from anywhere and stay on the same page as updates occur in real time.
Pros: I love how so many essential legal office management functions are integrated within the Neos app itself so that I can seamlessly move from task to task in an efficient manner.
Cons: As with all cloud-based software, there can be glitches when there is a high number of users online at one time, and updates can be pushed forward before they are really ready. This is not an often-enough occurrence to keep me from loving the program and it is not going away any time soon as more and more software moves to the cloud.
Brianna K. · Legal Assistant · Law Practice · December 16, 2025
I'm a regular user is where i submit all my work as a paralegal and has all the documents and information that i use on my daily basis to work on my cases
Pros: Is really user friendly and very intuitive and love the fact that is connected with my email makes it all easier
Cons: No complaints about Neos, i have been a user for almost 3 years and is the best software for the legal field
Marcia R. · Paralegal · Legal Services · December 16, 2025
Our overall experience with Neos has been extremely positive — it’s a powerful, flexible platform that has helped us scale our operations, improve team coordination, and deliver better service to our clients. While there are a few areas for improvement, especially around mobile access and texting, the productivity gains and workflow automation have made it a valuable asset to our growing firm.
Pros: The ability to customize workflows and automate repetitive tasks has been the biggest game-changer — it keeps our team organized, reduces errors, and saves hours of manual follow-up each week.
Cons: The mobile functionality and texting limitations are the biggest drawbacks — it’s hard to work effectively on the go, and not being able to use our main firm number for texts creates communication gaps with clients.
Boris M. · Founder · Legal Services · August 5, 2025
I HAVE USED NEOS FOR OVER 5 YEARS AND ENJOY IT VERY MUCH BECAUSE IT MAKES MY JOB EASIER. I ENJOY THIS SOFTWARE AND ITS HELPFUL TO OUR ORGANIZATION
Pros: IT IS EASY TO NAVIGATE AND IT'S EASY TO ACCESS CLIENT FILES. I APPRECIATE THE ORGANIZATION OF IT THE TABS ARE HELPFUL
Cons: I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES WITH NEOS. I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO LIST ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I HAVE HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE
MONICA R. · LEGAL SECRETARY · Law Practice · August 5, 2025
My overall experience with Neo's has been amazing and super helpful. Neos is super stress free for work.
Pros: I love that Neo's is able to generate letters so quickly. Neos allow us to have all of our file in one place.
Cons: I did not like that Neos was not compatible with safari anymore. Other than that Neos has been great!
Victoria A. · Case Management · Legal Services · July 28, 2025
It's been super useful for my day to day work. I use the Advanced Search a lot to keep track of our cases. The integration with Outlook helps too.
Pros: I love the Layout Manager! It really gives me the power to have everything that is important to me available and standardized.
Cons: I wanted to love the Templates but depending on the document, it's more work than creating one without it. I'm specially talking about the fillable fields in PDF which just results in a formatting mess!
Caroline L. · Case Manager · Law Practice · April 15, 2025
They have been very helpful from the start. Aytime there is an issue it gets resolved. The program is pretty costly, but it has a lot of features to it.
Pros: I like how it stores all our information in one place and has so many features.
Cons: The calendar can be a little hard to read at times depending on how many appointments are there. PDF documents seem to give us a little difficult time.
Jonathan S. · Administrative Supervisor · Law Practice · April 15, 2025
It has been a truly great experience. It allows me to stay on top of my work and keep track of what others are doing as well.
Pros: It was very organized and neat. Allowed me to stay on top of my work.
Cons: I don't think I have any dislikes. It truly has been the best thing for helping me keep up with my work.
