My overall experience is great. I have learned a lot through trainings and I am able to retain most of everything I learns
Pros: I like that they have multiple trainings available that actually help you retain the knowledge you need.
Cons: I do not like that there are no refresher courses readily available for all trainings there are only there for some.

Pros: It's a great way for our staff and community to get certified. It's also nice having the portal to participants can always have access to their information/certification.
Cons: I would say that like any certification course or organization, it can cost money to use so keep that in mind!

Overall, my experience with HSI was a good one. I learned a lot about health care and I appreciated the people I worked with. Like any workplace, there were challenges, but they helped me become more adaptable and confident in my role and value for you money
Pros: What I liked most about HSI was the collaborative environment and strong focus on teamwork. Everyone was willing to help each other, which made it easy to learn and grow. I also appreciated the structure and communication between departments—it really supported getting things done efficiently. There was a lot of good customer support
Cons: At times, priorities shifted quickly, which made scheduling and planning a bit challenging. However, it taught me to be more flexible and adapt to changing situations and some bugs and issues slowed down classes

They provide a wide variety of compliance and safety courses that covers every aspect that I need in the grocery retail industry.
Pros: The user interface is often described as intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to understand and operate.
Cons: The price can be high, especially for organizations that need to purchase many individual training assignments at a per-assignment cost.

My overall experience was pretty good with HSI. It taught me a lifelong skill which is CPR, me now knowing I can help save a life from this point on is extremely huge for my mental.
Pros: Pinpoints within the online curriculum, easy to navigate from home equipment/devices, hyperlinks for more in depth articles and helpful documents, blended course, free through my employer.
Cons: Some modules were rather long, slow loading times when launching some modules and not others, in the event of a problem was unaware of customer service support.

Pros: HSI is an excellent workforce management platform that provides training and support for professionals.
Cons: HSI requires a learning curve. Training is offered by highly qualified experts, yet criteria are rigorous and time consuming for professionals.
Maryam D. · Human Resources · Education Management · October 3, 2025
Pros: HSI is a workforce management platform that provides high quality training and support for professionals. HSI facilitates student teacher interaction and incorporates AI intelligence in its course management.
Cons: While operating in a vast network, HSI training may only be offered at specific locations. Not all businesses will have access and may need to provide training through a third party.
Sandra N. · Coordinator · Education Management · October 3, 2025
My experience with HSI has been smooth and valuable. The courses are clear, well-structured, and flexible to complete on my schedule. A few features could be modernized, but it has definitely made compliance training much easier.
Pros: I liked most that the intuitive interface and how the reports are easy to generate and share, flexibility to learn at my own pace and the detailed course materials were very helpful.
Cons: i like least about hsi , mobile experience works but isn’t as smooth as the desktop version — navigation could be improved, customer support response time is good, but live chat availability would make it even better.

I have no competes easy to go through the training with no issues or having to get stuck in a issue for it
Pros: I was able to go in two training modules in regards to learning about cyber security and bullying at work
Cons: The videos are very short it would be best if they did more questions and provide more info for training

HSI excels as a reliable, support-driven training and informatics solution—especially powerful for compliance and EMS training environments—though it comes with trade-offs in flexibility, cost, and usability flow.
Pros: Intuitive and well-organized interface Excellent training platform with outstanding support Robust out-of-the-box features Customizable content and strong compliance reporting
Cons: Rigid in customizing forms and reports Feature-rich, which can feel overwhelming Occasional speed lags and delayed responses Higher per-user or per-assignment costs Steeper learning curve due to feature depth

I knew what I was a trying to obtain, but rarely had a clear idea of who, what, when the next step was. The path to certification was not very clear and expectations as to what I should have prepared poorly communicated. Also, I could not book an in person class for my instructor certification. It took 3 attempts and over a year before they finally stopped trying and certified me remotely, which didn't feel very professional.
Pros: HSI provides a wealth of material to both learn and conduct classes. These resources are available online, in book form, or even a DVD.
Cons: I found it very difficult to sign up for classes. The website and reps I was working with were not very clear in explaining what was required, when, and how to proceed. I was often in the dark about what to expect next in the process.

Pros: The ease of use and the simplicity of the software. THe site could be a bit more user friendly, but all in all it is a good platform
Cons: The site can be cumbersome and difficult to get back to a specific spot while trying to get your students listed

HSI has been amazing to work with and we are so fortunate that we found them when we did. There customer service and quality teaching is comparable to none!
Pros: HSI provides a quality product for a price that is unbeatable. When we originally looked into teaching our own CPR and First Adi classes for our city, we looked at several companies that would not meet our budgetary restrictions. HSI has quality programs that allows more people to learn more topics than with the other providers.
Cons: HSI requires you to use their video streaming. In the past, instructors used to be able to use their Powerpoints and teach from the slides. Now you have to use their pre-set classes which makes it difficult for people who have been certified for years.
Dylan R. · Fire Chief · Government Administration · June 19, 2025
It's a solid software platform with lots of features and capabilities. You sacrifice some customizability to have a platform that is ready out of the box.
Pros: The HSI platform is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. It felt pretty intuitive to use the software.
Cons: As with many platforms, they can be a bit rigid in what they allow you to customize. Having the ability to adjust forms or create custom reports is always a big selling point for us.
Jordan M. · Corporate Training Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · June 9, 2025
Overall HSI has been a good partner for us. Out team is able to see when they have training and administration can make sure they are done on time and that the staff is learning the programs with test scores.
Pros: The learning management system makes it easy for our team to assign trainings and assure they are completed.
Cons: The price seems a bit high if you are doing a lot of office or specific training programs. At $5 an assignment it adds up quickly.
Charles B. · Divisional EHS Supervisor · Building Materials · June 4, 2025
HSI is amazing. it uses a cloud based system to be able to keep your business safe and keeps all your information in one place.
Pros: HSI helps me to manage safety hazards in my business. It's easy to use and has a lot of tools integrated ibn it to use.
Cons: Nothing. HSI is amazing and has helped me in my business. definitely a business software you need to keep the safety of your business good.
Angelika M. · company owner · Design · June 2, 2025
Overall I would advise anyone to always shop around to ensure before they purchase that whatever they purchase checks the box for them, but HSI certainly can check a lot of those boxes if you're willing to pay.
Pros: HSI is a fantastic company in terms of training and they have done really well with customer service
Cons: The cost of HSI compared to some other brands and training methods on the market is slightly higher

As the safe harbor coodinator in my county it has been a rewarding resource to stay up on current statistics and reality. Very informative on the quantative and qualitative data.
Pros: Mission, Vision and Values are solid. It addresses an epidemic in our world and seeks to collaborate for maximum impact!
Cons: Sometimes responses, emails get lost in the abundance. Slow response every now and then
AL M. · Safe Harbor Coordinator · Civic & Social Organization · February 7, 2025
There have been a few bugs here and there, but overall, it isn't too bad of a program for company-wide training.
Pros: That it has a list that you can access of your transcript of what has been completed.
Cons: That there isn't a company-wide list of all of the work order instructions or standard operating procedures that can be accessed by all employees, and that it goes back to the very beginning of the transcript list rather than going back to where you have left off after completing pillar training.
Jessica J. · Quality Control Technician · Pharmaceuticals · November 12, 2024
Poor after I figured out you dont provide enough CEUs
Pros: Online classes were great and self paced
Cons: That you screwed me out of my money and i cannot complete my entire EMT-P recertification in one place. I have to find another learning system to finish.
Stacey B. · EMT Paramedic Registered Nurse · Hospital & Health Care · March 19, 2024
It's a great software for managing SDS and offering online training to staff. Simply said, HSI is a breeze to work with and comprehend. The UI does a great job of making things easy for the user. In other words, go for it!
Pros: The fact that this program may be altered to suit individual needs is its greatest strength. Able to provide the reports I need to update staff and management on our progress. For organizations, this is top-notch software. Additionally, HSI's customer service is quick to respond and provides useful information.
Cons: Not a single aspect about this product has disappointed me thus far.
