My overall experience with Remote was positive. The platform made it easier to manage global payroll, compliance, and contractor payments, while providing a clean and user-friendly experience overall.
Pros: What I liked most about Remote was its streamlined platform for managing international employees and contractors, making global payroll and compliance much easier to handle.
Cons: What I liked least about Remote was that some processes could take longer than expected, and certain features had a learning curve when navigating the platform for the first time.

Nel complesso l’esperienza è stata molto positiva. Remote è uno strumento efficace per aziende che vogliono espandersi a livello internazionale senza dover gestire direttamente tutta la complessità amministrativa e legale. È particolarmente utile in contesti in crescita, anche se richiede un po’ di adattamento iniziale ai suoi processi standardizzati.
Pros: Remote semplifica molto la gestione di dipendenti internazionali, soprattutto per quanto riguarda compliance, contratti e payroll. La piattaforma è intuitiva e permette di avere una visione chiara di tutti i processi HR globali. Ho apprezzato molto anche il supporto su normative locali, che riduce il rischio di errori quando si lavora con più paesi.
Cons: Alcuni processi possono risultare meno flessibili rispetto a una gestione interna, soprattutto quando si hanno esigenze specifiche o urgenze. Inoltre, i tempi di risposta del supporto in alcuni casi potrebbero essere più rapidi, soprattutto per richieste complesse.

working on the remote software, has been very rewarding as I can manage administrative task skillfully
Pros: I can process payroll easily by managing my employees through email notifications. It is very secure and the learning curve is easy to manage
Cons: In the beginning, there were some bugs and issues that I managed to get around. hence, I mentioned that the learning curve is easy

My overall experience of remote jobs are not so optimum, they lye a lot with the offer listing, and just like to play with people necessity.
Pros: I like the remote jobs because don't have to leave your house neither spend no type of busfair in commuting.
Cons: The least is that not all of the Companies pays properly and constantly. The would lye and offer a lot of income that don't go with the job listing.

We are super happy with Remote, we don't have that many hick ups than we had with other vendors in the past, no payroll issues etc.
Pros: We are using Remote as our EOR product. We have been working with other vendors in the past and have to admit Remote stands out compared to others in terms of - customer service (super fast and efficient, and always reliable) - easy and intuitive platform, makes employee management easy - competitive price offering for a great product
Cons: - the switch from our previous vendor to Remote could have been smoother. Not saying that this was Remote's fault, but there are so many things to consider when moving from one vendor to another, that some things slipped through.

Remote was a great switch coming from Rippling, our company started using remote to ensure our payments would arrive on time and invoices were easily generated using remote.
Pros: Remote app is very user friendly. It provide specific timelines of payment once it is being processed. You can link your bank account thru Stripe for withdrawal. Invoices are easy to build with tracking number and other fields remote helps you with. Being an offshore employee in Colombia, remote has helped get all my payments on time. Notifications when payments are approved, processed and paid.
Cons: Sometimes the email you receive for the notification seen on the app does not arrive at the same time.

I think Remote is generally a good solution. Over the past 6 months, Ive seen improvements around UI on the platform. There's still opportunity to improve some of their internal ways of operating.
Pros: Good quick and easy solution to bridge global hiring.
Cons: Siloed information and operations that create delays at times.

As mentioned in my cons section: I was hired through remote.com while living in the Netherlands. They connected me to a local "expert" who completely messed up their understanding of local regulation, which ended up costing me thousands of Euros. A year later when this was clear, I had to spend hours and hours communicating with them via chat support and sending them the written proof of their mess up. Not only did I need to do my own research, and I ended up being way more knowledgable than their own "expert" on the local regulation, and had to spend days trying to get in contact with someone senior. But most of all, they refused any form of compensation for their mistake. So to sum up again: 1. check your work calendar. Do you have 4 hours every week to spend on getting answers to issues that your remote employees face? 2. Is money not an issue for your employees, when remote.com messes up with local regulation? Then they are the company for you.
Pros: Amazing UI on their dashboard, makes it very simple to use on a day to day basis.
Cons: They are not a real HR company, they provide a good looking platform, but then completely mess up on the HR side. This ended up costing a lot of money, and most of all for everyone worth considering it, time. tl;dr: 1. check your work calendar. Do you have 4 hours every week to spend on getting answers to issues that your remote employees face? 2. Is money not an issue for your employees, when remote.com messes up with local regulation? Then they are the company for you.

Pros: Very easy to use, support is easily accessible.
Cons: Support articles that are country specific, they should continue to build out their library. Nothing bad, but I feel there is more to be written/shared country to country

Remote has made it tremendously easy to work with our out of country employees. They handle almost everything and keep us updated on anything we need to know or approve.
Pros: Easy use for our out of the country employees.
Cons: We have not terminated any employees with Remote, but we were informed that we would have to give plenty of notice if we were going to work with them to give a severance. This has not been an issue, I just have not used the process yet.

Pros: Remote was very easy to set up and use, Customer Support was very helpful.
Cons: Minor detail but remote did not integrate with our HR tool, so we had to use two HR softwares for internal and external employees.

Overall the user experience is is good. I like the past response times overall
Pros: Its easy to use, add or remove team members. The customer contact is really fast. Quick to set-up and onboard new team members.
Cons: Sometimes when you have a question I did not receive the answer I was looking for or the reply was not send to me. This happened only once or twice so not too bad. If would be nice to have Remote connected to the accounting software.

I like the service and the platform and that Remote always improves their service. I am working with them since 2 years now and they have constantly improved and extended their services and platform.
Pros: The related Customer Success Manager who is always there to support us.
Cons: Sometimes it takes quite a lot of time to get any (labor law) information about a country.

Overall very positive but the fees that they charge are higher than other companies and this is something that is becoming a challenge in the current market where there are new companies in the EOR space offering similar products. Employees like it though and it is easy to use as a manager/admin.
Pros: Easy to use. Great customer support. Personalised help when needed and employees get good benefits through the platform. Also good is that they dont use third parties to hire.
Cons: Fees. Yearly fees cannot be transferred to new employees! Very inflexible compared to other EORs.

Amazing -- I am not sure what we would have done had we not found this global employer of record service. Our team is growing and travel for those on board in our home country is significantly reduced.
Pros: Remote has enabled our team to grow globally, hiring amazing people without the worry and cost associated with creating a legal entity. I have reached out many times with questions and have found the support available to be very extensive and knowledgeable, even on some very specific enquiries.
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything, I have encountered no problems with the platform or the support offered.

Pros: I like that it is remote, every thing is handled correctly

Very limited when it comes to contractors, especially for cases like ours, where we're hired as contractors but receive the same benefits as regular employees.
Pros: Customizable Contracts and Services The platform allows for flexible contract setups, making it easier to hire both full-time employees and contractors globally. It tailors agreements according to the local standards of the countries involved.
Cons: As Remote manages onboarding processes across different countries, it may take longer than expected, especially if legal complexities or unexpected regulatory challenges arise. Slower onboarding than initially anticipated. No customized set up for contract signatures, support response times can be slow, especially for time-sensitive issues.
