I have used Expo Pass for four annual conferences in a row. I have vetted other companies each year and none come close to the cost vs. what we receive. The system is user friendly and easy to set up. I don't even need on onsite call anymore because I am able to do it myself.
Pros: Expo Pass is a great option for a smaller event when you want to own the whole process yourself. It is cost efficient and a great value for the money. We have not had any technical issues in the four years that we have used the onsite badge printing solution. Our exhibitors appreciate the lead scanning option and that option also allows us to recoup some of our expense.
Cons: I would love if Expo Pass had a more robust, customizable app that we could utilize. I think it would make the attendee experience a more seamless one.

ExpoPass has been a breath of fresh air! With other platforms I had constant issues, my entire attendee list would just POOF out of existence, or worse, my equipment would get stuck in China! ExpoPass is quick, reliable, and simple. Events are chaotic enough, so having something so straightforward is LOVELY!
Pros: I love the reliability of ExpoPass! They have all of their own equipment and printing in house, so I never have to worry about items getting caught in customs on its way to my events. Check in with ExpoPass is quick and easy!! The set up process is also seamless!

Cons: The only issue I can think of is the badge preview has gotten smaller from years past. It may be user error and I need to ask! I also wish there was a way to check if someone has checked in from the iPad!

Our overall experience with Expo Pass was excellent. The setup was easy, and everything arrived well packaged and organized, which made getting started simple. The delivery and pickup process were both seamless, and the call to walk us through the equipment was extremely helpful. On-site tech support was also great, they were responsive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Overall, it was a stress-free experience and made a big difference for our event.
Pros: Expo Pass made everything so easy. Check-in was fast, badge printing worked perfectly, and we didn’t have any issues. The best part was how accurate the attendance tracking was, no overlap or confusion at all. It honestly took a lot of stress off our team and just worked the way we needed it to. Excellent value for our Conference needs.
Cons: The magic links were slightly difficult for some users due to security controls on their university laptops.

I had a great experience. We have been working with them for three years now and it allways works very well.
Pros: They were able to adapt to our necessities and implement features (like a badge qr code). The equipament also came to us in a very safe and organized way. The system is easy to use. The point of contact also responded quickly and the payment was easy to make.
Cons: The only thing that I disliked was the fact that we have to email and schedule calls to get a price, but most companies do that.

The experience with Expo Pass was overwhelmingly positive. The team was able to quickly adjust to this system and the imports to the data was easy and quick. The Support team was amazing and super helpful; they took time to look into our issue and give us a personalized response which was extremely helpful.
Pros: The System was very easy to navigate. This was our first time using the system and it was very easy to import our data into the system and provide our customer with a quick check-in. The creation of new field was very simple, and the separation of different user types was also very easy to manage in the system. We also were able to pull exports quick and the data provided was accurate. The Support Team is also amazing! We contacted them a few times before the event occurred and they answered to our urgency within the hour. They also looked into our event to ensure everything was imported correctly for our event, which was greatly helpful!
Cons: The one item that can be improved is the user field. When an existing group has already been imported into the system, and you create a new field, the old contacts cannot be update. A new import will have to be created. Even though this posed a small issue the importing process was very quick and easy it was not a big concern but would potentially be a hassle for events that hold sub-event, as users will have to be registered again.

Overall, I had a great time using Expo Pass at our conference. It allowed for quick and easy registration. Making the stress of getting people checked in a breeze.
Pros: Using ExpoPas was easy to learn. Having a one-on-one meeting before using the iPads was so helpful. Seeing the cases as it was daunting, but after meeting with our contact, it turned out to be a breeze.
Cons: One con I can mention is the need to make a quick fix or add a new entry to the online database. If there were an online portal that could easily sync the two, it would be a huge time- and stress-saver.

ExpoPass was awesome for an intuitive tool that allows you to bring in your own attendees and exhibitors. Their team was extremely responsive and helpful every step of the way. They were even willing to negotiate prices and helped us expedite service access! Blanca is a breath of fresh air too! I appreciated how secure the tool was to ensure no one could use it if a device was left on a table. The iPads were also easy to recalibrate as needed.
Pros: I loved how simple it was to scan attendees into their sessions and how I can look at each person's schedule. I also enjoyed how quickly things were synced when we added attendees to new sessions on site. Once we made it home, our team was able to effortlessly export all the data needed to provide credits.
Cons: I think they could add the amazon app store so we can use amazon kindles to scan badges. it was the only thing that made me frown.

Overall, we were absolutely satisfied with the service delivery from Expo Pass and have used them for the last two years, with our second year being better than the first as we became more familiar with their process. We look forward to using them again for this year's event!!
Pros: Expo Pass' equipment is attractive and tech-forward, elevating your event with a professional touch. Expo Pass provides your attendees with convenient and efficient check-in and event experience. They ensure that you have all the needed supplies and help you manage your set-up timeline to support successful event execution.
Cons: Although the customer service is quite good, having direct access to a help line with immediate assistance would be helpful. Another area of opportunity would be the ability to use purchased materials (i.e., badge shells) for future events. Also, we would like to see more competitive pricing for repeat customers.

Amazing experience overall. We will definitely be using Expo Pass for future events and are considering taking advantage of more of the platform’s features next time. For this event, we had already set up our own registration, website, and texting tools, so we primarily relied on Expo Pass for check‑in and on‑site registration. Moving forward, we’re excited to explore the full range of capabilities Expo Pass offers
Pros: We were able to easily add and remove attendees, and the platform was very user‑friendly. Check‑in and on‑site registration were quick and seamless, and customer service was consistently timely. Our badges required very specific information for each attendee, so instead of self‑check‑in, our staff verified IDs and checked guests in manually to ensure accuracy before printing. This approach worked extremely well and kept the process efficient.
Cons: Customer service was always available when we needed support, but at times I felt there could have been more hands‑on guidance. For example, hopping on a quick call to walk us through the process step‑by‑step would have been more helpful than written instructions, which still felt a bit confusing.

ExpoPass has been just the right addition to level up our conferences. Participants are always impressed at how easy it is to check in, review their info, and print their badge on site. It is also extremely helpful on the back end for set up. ExpoPass team members help you with everything from setting up the badge design, importing attendee lists, and shipping the equipment (with return labels) directly to your conference location. I would definitely recommend using ExpoPass.
Pros: My favorite thing about ExpoPass is the ease of use for both planners and participants. Also, the ExpoPass team is great at reminding you of deadlines to fill out event info online, upload badge designs, import attendees, and more.
Cons: ExpoPass is a little pricey but absolutely work every penny! They take care of shipping the equipment directly to your event location and schedule pick up for after the event is over.

The system is good, but the router and printer had to be rebooted many times in the middle of registering the attendees and having to manually add several (more than 40) participants.
Pros: The customer service. Working with [sensitive content hidden] was amazing, she's very responsive and always available to answer our questions.
Cons: The extra work that it adds since all participants information does not transfer to expo pass. Having to reboot the printer and trouble shoot many times, the router also gave us issues.

We always have a very good experience with Expo Pass. They offer tremendous onsite support and help with making sure we set up everything correctly in their software.
Pros: Having onsite support is huge for our company and our events. Expo Pass always has exceptional support staff onsite at our event and we could not do it without them!
Cons: Saving leads after badge scanning is sometimes confusing. Our exhibitors would scan a badge and take notes, and sometimes back out after that with the scan not saving to the software.

I have used Expo Pass for 4 different events now. The first event, they held my hand through every step of the process. After that, they left me more to my own devices. Every time I have had issues and I have had to reach out I was able to get help.
Pros: The setup directions and process are easy. The interface for the attendees is easy and professional looking. It is easy for attendees to change their information if needed. The badges look great and very professional.
Cons: The cost that comes with the badge printing service that is not paid to Expo Pass. Unfortunately, the venue can charge an exorbitant fees for a dedicated hardline and power drops for the equipment, and you might not take that into account when signing up for this service.

We've been partnering with Expo Pass for our annual reunion event for the past 3+ years and it's become increasingly easier every year. They are our best solution to date for print-on-demand nametags and easy to set up check-in kiosks.
Pros: I greatly appreciate the seamless attendee experience we're able to offer our reunion attendees when we use Expo Pass. From offering print-on-demand name badges, to the individualized QR codes per registrant, to the easy session scanning and tracking, the whole system works for us.
Cons: One of the only areas for improvement for our business use is to realize better system integration. We just recently transitioned to Salesforce, but all integrations above and beyond our minimum viable product is at least two years away. I can't wait for the day that marking a registrant as having attended in Expo Pass means they'll automatically be marked as having attended in our Salesforce database, as well!

A great experience overall. Frequent email reminders kept the entire project on-track leading up to our event. The multitude of online user guides were very detailed and very helpful.
Pros: We were in need of a service for our event for on-site registration including payment capture as well as name badge printing. Online research lead us to Expo Pass, which turned out to be a great choice to fulfill our event needs. Website was rather easy and intuitive to navigate and if there were problems, the Expo Pass support team was ready to help. All the necessary hardware was sent as planned and everything worked well throughout the 3-day event. Self check-in was easy and on-site registrations also worked well. Users of the kiosks for check-in/name badge printing and on-site registrations exclaimed how well everything worked.
Cons: Had an issue setting-up the registration form on the user website. Recommendations from support attempted to remedy the problem, but self-help guides were repetitive and standard responses. It took several attempts to correct the problem. Also, on-site registrations by a single person signing-up multiple attendees did not work as planned initially.

Overall I have been pleased. We are able to get what we need out of it, however the price point is on the borderline of where we're tempted to go another route or try to do something on our own each year still.
Pros: The team was always quick to respond and assist us throughout the process whenever we needed support.
Cons: The website and app were not as intuitive as I'd like. Some of our customers who used the app last year for lead retrieval encountered some bug in the setup this year. It was a simple fix by deleting and reinstalling though.

Pros: It was fast, reliable, and totally removed the usual registration line headaches. Their team is fully available throughout your event and they were very patient walking us through set up and troubleshooting.
Cons: When our cases arrived, the lock was broken so we had to bring in a lock smith to cut the lock off of the box before our event. Ideally they would upgrade the lock system or have a solution to fix it.

Everyone I talk to at ExpoPass is friendly and responsive. Also, they do a good job of reminding to complete certain tasks leading up to the event which is really helpful for me with how busy it can get.
Pros: I love how easy they make the on-site setup and takedown process. The backend system is also extremely easy to learn and great for post event recaps that we send out to our Sponsors. Badge printing is a breeze and nearly everyone who checks in comments on how easy it is.
Cons: We use a lot of contractors to scan in for our various events during our conference and I'd love the ability to have them be both admins and attendees.

I feel that ExpoPass has really thought through how to create the best badge printing experience, even for someone that is not super tech inclined. Their customer support is outstanding, and the onsite set up experience is really intuitive.
Pros: This was exactly what I was looking for in an onsite badge printing platform- basically plug in and print! Also, all of my questions were answered within a few minutes by the customer support team.
Cons: I wish that I could have received a physical proof of the badge; it would have reduced my stress! The badges really turned out well, and I did have sample badges, which was helpful, but I would have love to have seen the actual badge we designed in my hand prior to printing 1000 of them.

Expo Pass has provided positive service year after year and I am very happy with them. Their event check-in process, badge printing, App all are very user friendly and easy to navigate. Their customer service is also very responsive and helpful. The aility to also trace our sessions is a great help also.
Pros: The ease of using the software as an administrator and the ease for the attendees. Our attendees report positive feedback at the ease of their check in experience and badge printing.
Cons: I wish their app was more developed and can do gamification along with being more interactive. While it is user friendly I wish we could do more to engage our event attendees.

We just recently used Expopass again for our convention. It works great. The staff is also super responsive and easy to work with. We will keep using this app and badge printing system!
Pros: It's very easy to use and has lots of features that work well for conferences. The app is super simple to use, and the mobile scanning of badges is great for tracking CE.
Cons: No cons to expopass, it can sometimes be a learning curve to work on the admin side of badge shells.

Pros: The ease of setup/take down. And how much work it takes off our staff to be able to do other important things rather than passing out name tags at the registration desk.

ExpoPass is a great tool for managing conferences! We used the push notifications, magic link, and session information features — it has everything you need in one platform. The on-site phone support was also excellent and very responsive.
Pros: Customer service is excellent. I’m fairly tech-savvy, but with any new software there’s always a bit of a learning curve. Their chat support is quick to respond, and the AI assistant is surprisingly intelligent compared to other sites. On one occasion, I had trouble with a specific topic, and an ExpoPass customer service agent followed up by email with detailed, helpful information. I really appreciated that level of support.
Cons: I didn't like that staff couldn't print their badges, as if we were event organizers in expopass but not attendees. Well, I hope to learn this feature in a future. I noticed that the day of the event.
