Overall it was very beneficial and easy to use once it uploaded. Loved that I did not have to have a packet to carry around all day and keep track of. It was easy to download to my outlook calendar which helped my office know when I was available, if needed.
Pros: I was able to actively work my vendor booth and participate in the conference. It was easy to save my agenda. But what I liked most was the conference was recorded and I was able to go back on the platforms that I needed the most.
Cons: App was a little hard to down load at first. Once down loaded it was easy to use and very beneficial in keeping track of my agenda. Loved that it was recorded and could go back and watch the presenter of choice on my own time.

It was fabulous! I felt spoiled, pampered and special because my role as an adult educator is valued and appreciated.
Pros: The staff were friendly, personable, genuine and helpful. They went the extra mile when I had questions and were conversational which was refreshing.
Cons: I had no interest in the Vendor sessions, because I had no authority / voice to purchase anything. Being new to the world of adult education, I didn't have the experience to discern what might be useful to our program or not.

It is easy to use, keeps all the details like agendas, times, room locations, surveys, all in one place. I liked doing the activities to gain points and move up the leaderboard. I have used it at 2 other conferences in the past too.
Pros: It was a great way to get conference information and details. It offers an easy way to connect and network with other conference attendees, speakers, and organizers. I appreciate that the presenters can load their power point presentations and that I can easily access them and send them to my email.
Cons: I have used Whova before and really liked everything. I can't think of anything that wasn't useful.

Verry easy to navigate and a perfect platform for our event every year! I attended in person for most of the conference and really appreciated the option for virtual
Pros: I love having all the information in one place. Meet ups attendees, breakout sessions and all the cool stuff that come with this app.
Cons: I don't have a comment for this question. I did not have a bad experience any of the 4 years I have been attending this event

My experience with Whova has been very positive. It helped improve event organization and made communication and networking much more efficient.
Pros: Whova is easy to use and makes managing events, schedules, and networking very convenient. The platform keeps everything organized and helps attendees stay engaged and connected throughout events.
Cons: Some features could offer more customization, but overall the platform is smooth, reliable, and easy to navigate.

My first time, I loved this app, was at the MCCAC conference last week and really enjoyed all the features I have not see with other conference apps. I liked it so much I sent it to the American Probation and Parole Association to consider looking at when our app contract is up.
Pros: Easy use and download. I liked that I could find who was signed up for my training and send them a welcome. My training had 2 sessions so could remind them they had to attend both.
Cons: Maybe a little too much push out. Lots of follow up that maybe I didnt need to be bothered with, could there be an option to opt in or out of these?

Great, second conference I've used it for. I really enjoy the agenda portion and being able to add things to "My Agenda."
Pros: Seeing the agenda so I know what all sessions would be offered and then being able to add those agenda items to "My Agenda" so I could stay more focused on my day.
Cons: The map links weren't working so it made it a little harder to find the sessions rooms. Also, I think it is fun to have interaction with the app but the points part made some people post a ridiculous amount of things just to earn points. It got a little too chaotic.

Excellent overview for a hybrid virtual and in-person conference - I really felt connected to material and other attendees, and learned a lot.
Pros: I like that the entire conference is available in one platform - webcasts, conference materials, reference materials, the networking opportunities, and found that having a click-through agenda with a "my notes" and "my agenda" section was really useful. I can tag events to watch again later, or if I was double- or sometimes triple-booked with classes I wanted to see but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts, I can get back to them instantly.
Cons: I don't think the app is near as good as the desktop or laptop web portal, and I wish the functionality were similar with both. It's good, but not great. Phones are a limiting factor for sure.

Excellent App, would higly recommend using this for managing events with a variety of optional schedules
Pros: Easy and user friendly event management made easy. Transparent with attendees. Great way to scan the event atendees
Cons: Nothing particularly was unpleasant. I didnt have any bigs or issues. Not too many emails once downloading the app.

I used Whova for both of the FVMA conferences I attended. I liked being able to create my schedule of events as well as seeing which of my fellow team members were attending. The open forums and ability to take notes on the app are also amazing!
Pros: The app is super easy to use. I can find all of the information I need regarding scheduled events/conferences at one easy click. I love also being able to see who else is attending in my direct network as well as other people that might be great to meet.
Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like about Whova. It's a great app- I also love how I get updates after events.

Pros: I enjoyed the ease and ability to network, meet new people, connect with colleagues while maintaining professional boundaries. I loved being able to see the whole agenda and isolate my selections. I loved that there was a map tied to every agenda item, that helped me immensely!
Cons: I would like the Community section to be more user friendly. It seems hard to determine which notifications are new and how to respond to them. I would also like to see a filter/sort option to find the threads that apply to me easier.

It's mostly user friendly for a non-tech person. It keeps a great virtual record of events that were attended along with all speakers/workshop titles , which makes it easy to submit for CEU's. This teacher approves!
Pros: I like the ease of seeing past events and specific sessions that I attended with my colleagues. The organization of information is helpful in careers like teaching, so that I avoid repeat workshops in order to broaden my experience.
Cons: Since I only use this site a couple of times per year, it can be tricky getting back into the account.

Whova is excellent for commication with event attendees, vendors and speakers. There are many modules to make the experience outstanding for the all that attend. Whova has leaderboards, photo contests, speaker management module, agenda management you can link to your tickets. It also provides you with a front facing website you can land on for your event branding.
Pros: Whova is excelling in managing the overall conference, from call for speakers to assigning vendor booth locations. It provides you with great communication tools, along with many attendee enhancements.
Cons: The system is a little pricey, however, based on what you get it has proven to be worth it. Small learning curve.

Easy to navigate, which really encouraged usage by a wider demographic. Hence the customer support and value for money was achieved.
Pros: The tool provided the opportunity to interact and share leadership insights and give encouragement to new leaders. Sharing knowledge, leadership tools and techniques to improve performance. It also allowed the planners to manage the flow of the conference and support topics that had more relevance.
Cons: Whova had the potential to keep me "too glued to my screen" since I am an individual that likes to manage and balance my work-life commitment. Some aspects encouraged competitive interactions based on usage. Which saw some persons sending messages to score points - A bit intrusive after certain hours.

I like it but there is always room for improvement. Perhaps add hotel information, maps, registration for conference, one stop type shop. Also highlights of what to see and do and where NOT to go.
Pros: Everything in one place, ease of navigation, ease of use, message platform, games, competition, paperless
Cons: No information about specific breakout sessions (group, room, etc). It would be nice to have a little more specific information regarding these breakouts
Kathy A. · Exec Director of Institutional Advancement · Education Management · April 28, 2026
I enjoyed doing the points. Not much time to do them. The interaction with other fellow member that is not just a part of your team.
Pros: Event was laid out for you for everything. Great tool to use for all upcoming events for a corporation.
Cons: I really do not have anything bad to say regarding this app. Downloading it was easy. Using it was good. Precise information for your value. I would recommend to all friend and colleagues.
Tammy W. · DON · Hospital & Health Care · April 28, 2026
I loved it. it's fantastic. It not only helped us see what was scheduled next. It helped us interact in a fun way with the point system.
Pros: It allows you to be very interactive with those who are in the same event. It creates a platform for those who are shy but at the same time like to participate. It was secure and fun.
Cons: There was not anything I didn't like. I saw that it was the hosts that are the ones who get to put the point system and stuff so it's not the app themselves, but it's facilitated by the app, and it is wonderful. If I can say something it would be to allow the top 5 not just top 3 with the point system.

I had an excellent experience using Whova. It's a great way to stay organized and engaged during a conference.
Pros: It's great for conference agenda management. Instead of lugging around a packet of information, it's simply on your phone. It's also very engaging. I'm not a typical "engager" but Whova sort of motivates me to engage on the platform. Not sure why,,,
Cons: I'm not sure. I overall enjoy the app without issue. I don't have any negative experiences with the app.

Overall, I think it is a great tool to utilize for conferences like SHRM. It builds transparency and connection. It also gets someone excited to see what is on the schedule to look forward too and network with others.
Pros: Engagement with participants and presenters. Keeps the conference fun and highlights the values of each session.
Cons: Not much cons - I was timid to put personal information, but it grew on me. The information sharing is necessary to network and seek connections with other professionals.
Splendora S. · Records Supervisor · Government Relations · April 14, 2026
It worked perfectly well with 20 simultaneous sessions and people were never lost in the halls. The days of tracking attendance by hand on 12 different campus locations is behind us. And, the vendors no longer scream about collecting leads since the App finally read the badge data from their vendor badges.
Pros: The tech-support person, stayed awake until 3 am to fix all my errors, big relief. I set up the majority of the registration process on my own and it did stay up during the huge crush of people registering. The support didn't bring down the whole program and I thought it would. And it works great as far as sending the correct link to zoom.
Cons: Exporting all the attendee info into csv is an absolute nightmare. The column names never match and windows always mess up the format. The admin app is almost completely worthless for doing anything but checking in attendees; therefore I had to carry my lap top around the entire building.
Shawn N. · Chief Executive Officer · Marketing and Advertising · April 12, 2026
Used it to get agendas and room numbers, there was just a lot of information on there and ways to text other attendees was cool as well.
Pros: loved the presenters that put their slides on the app for us. I wish they ALL did that! It was hard trying to write down everything I wanted/needed on the slides as fast as they went, and taking a photo of them seemed to be looked down upon by the conference directors so having them on the app was GREAT!
Cons: Initially the set up was a bit daunting, but once I got used to it, it went really well, I think mostly it was because I added the app in the middle of a very busy day, but I was glad I had it when conference started!
Debi W. · Registered Nurse · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 6, 2026
Pros: Used it for Events in London and what I liked about it is Real time updates on changes in events, messaging and meet up coordination and Live Polls
Cons: Having many features is good, but it takes time to understand working of it effectively Navigation isn’t always intuitive (especially first-time users)
Nitu G. · Test Manager · Publishing · April 6, 2026
Great interactive conference tool. I appreciated how seamlessly everything was integrated, from registration to agenda planning. The platform simplified complex event logistics, making it easier for both organizers and participants to stay informed, engaged, and on track throughout entire event experience.
Pros: What I liked most about Whova was its strong capabilities in event attendee management, meeting and session management, and overall event coordination. It made it easy to track attendees, view profiles, and facilitate meaningful connections. The session management tools were especially effective, allowing me to organize my schedule, access session details, and receive timely updates.
Cons: What I liked least about the Whova app was that certain features could feel slightly overwhelming or cluttered, especially for first-time users. Navigating between management tools, session details, and event updates sometimes required extra steps, which could interrupt the flow of the experience. I also found that notifications could become excessive, making it harder to focus on the most relevant updates.

I'd say it was pretty good. You'd be well served by making the messaging better known... ADD phone notifications! I kept asking people at the conference if they had gotten my message and they had not because they didn't open the app and see it. I'd like it to pop-up as a phone notification. What good is a message sent that isn't seen until way after it's relevant?
Pros: I like seeing the Event Schedule, picking my events, getting session alerts, seeing the floor plan(map), AND best of all the instant messaging conference and session attendees.
Cons: Navigation within the phone Graphical User Interface. I felt like I had to look around to find things like the floor layout a lot. What I don't like is this response interface I'm typing into right now. It has, for each box, a minimum number of characters it allows and it shows in in the form of a fraction. I was confused and shortened each of my messages to fall below 100 characters only to come back and have to add back in to make this review process work. Below each box it should state 100 Characters Minimum: (#CharCount). That makes it way easier to understand(intuative). It only explains it after you try to submit... (Minimum of 100 characters not met). Here's my experience. I saw the fraction and I didn't even proceed to read "min." I'm just used to having to fix a response to fit into a limited context, I went into auto-pilot when filling this in.
