Adobe Illustrator

Pros: The ability to transform graphic files into high quality outputs. The high quality tools allow for full creative customization.

Cons: The complexity of the application can take awhile to get used to. Therefor it takes longer to do a project.

Pros: Adobe Illustrator is an absolute game changer in the graphics design industry. You can create your business logo, flyer pamphlets, and be creative as you wish.

Cons: A realtively low monthly cost subscription given all features your getting. However, it is not the most user friendly and will take time to familiarize yourself with the environment.

Pros: As an industry standard tool there are no shortage of tutorials available for Illustrator including a vast library from Adobe. Perfect for illustrations, logo design, pattern design or even animation - there is a lot you can do with Illustrator.

Cons: Can be somewhat resource intensive, so you'll need to ensure that your system can handle it. Also the new interfaces can have something of a steep learning curve.

Pros: Adboe Illistrator needs to stay. It is one of the most feasible art-based platforms in learning and conducting Vector designs

Cons: I honestly have few complaints. I am more made mad at Adobe for attempting to remove platforms like this

Pros: Its a necessary product for any designer / creative professional to provide top[ quality files for printing and web

Cons: I don't like that the shortcuts are different from other Adobe products I use way more often, but i need to use the software more.

Pros: Adobe Illustrator is a great software that can allow you to complete just about anything with a document that you need, image editing, animation and the customer support is great.

Cons: Sometimes when I open the program it does have a lot of features and is a large platform software that it can be a little slow when starting up but once I am in a session it works great for me.

Pros: The layout of the software makes it easy and rememberable where each tool / effect can be found. The quick speed of the software also makes completing tasks a breeze.

Cons: the problem i tend to run into is performing a difficult task and the software can't support it, in the past i've had the file not automatically save and have lost a couple hours work because of this.

Pros: Illustrator uses vector graphics and has quality graphical tools like the pen tool that creates great curves and help in branding and print work.

Cons: Adobe Illustrator is available through monthly subscription which can be pricey for students compared to a onetime purchase and also it`s tools might be quite intimidating for beginners

Pros: The ability to create any custom logo / brand that is needed. Having the ability to illustrate custom graphics for any sort of client.

Cons: Not too much I don’t like, that it doesn’t always integrate well with Figma is annoying and also sometimes it glitches when outputting assets for web use.

Pros: I like how powerful Illustrator is for vector design and illustration. It gives a lot of control and precision for creating logos, icons, and graphics.

Cons: The learning curve is high and it can be overwhelming at the beginning. Also, it requires a good computer to run smoothly.

Pros: Vector tools are extremely accurate, and designs stay sharp at any size. It’s ideal for professional branding and print-ready assets.

Cons: Illustrator can feel overwhelming at first. Subscription pricing may be a concern for very small teams.

Pros: Very robust tools for creating custom icons, logos and images. It’s easy to modify images and scale them and to personalize them as needed.

Cons: It has a steep learning curve for new users and it’s hard to find accessible documentation that covers the different features and tools

Pros: Illustrator gives me a level of precision and control that’s still unmatched for vector work. Whether I’m building logos, icons, or scalable illustrations, everything stays sharp and consistent. The interface is familiar, the tools respond well, and it integrates perfectly with my other Adobe apps.

Cons: The only drawback is its heavy load on performance. On bigger files, it can slow down or take time to export, especially on a laptop.

Pros: Adobe Illustrator is very easy to learn and use. I’m using it since 2020 for making Logos, Social Media posts, to do the marketing for different brands.

Cons: Adobe Illustrator new version is hanging my laptop and acquiring lot of space from the memory, that is making my laptop very slow.

Pros: I love the Recolor artwork where I can manually change the poster color or I can use eye dropper tool and change the entire pallet . I love Ai Vector generation and that integrated in recolor artwork. Various Effects, and gradients. align options works wonders as well. Mainly customized workspaces with reset workspace option. and I use the 3d options on icons.

Cons: You need a high end laptop to use this software. It hangs with too much effects. grid detection(pink lines) appear only while using the mouse to align. If it comes while using the arrow keys, it will be even more quicke to align.

Pros: Users have access to all latest updates and releases the moment they are available. Besides, Creative Cloud desktop apps can be installed and run on two computers.

Cons: Users experience a steep learning curve. Also, Raster graphics support is limited. There is also accuracy and precision issue. Besides. Higher costs and increased time consumption ,are two major limiting factors.

Pros: Des outils très complets pour créer des visuels professionnels, une précision remarquable et une qualité de rendu inégalée.

Cons: L’interface est complexe pour les débutants et les mises à jour fréquentes peuvent perturber le flux de travail. Il demande une vraie courbe d’apprentissage.

Pros: The precision and flexibility in creating detailed, scalable graphics. It’s excellent for producing scientific figures, diagrams, posters, and publication-quality illustrations.

Cons: The performance may slow down with complex files or on less powerful computers. Additionally, the subscription is a bit costly.

Pros: InDesign offered great flexibility in designing complex documents. I particularly liked style management, the numerous typography options, and smooth compatibility with other Adobe software like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Cons: The software required some learning time, especially at the beginning. The subscription was quite expensive, and a powerful computer was needed to avoid

Pros: I think it's a very complete programme for working with vectors. It's very comprehensive and easy to use, and it has lots of possibilities.

Cons: It could have more options for simple photo editing so that you can also work with pixels and edit images.

Pros: This program is amazing. I use it every day for my job, and it is capable of doing everything I need to succeed. One of the most useful features is its ability to import both DXFs and DWGs. This is especially useful for going back and forth with CAD software. I also like that I can pull in any image and create lines based on it.

Cons: It is not super intuitive, and there is a small learning curve. I wish the sketching more closely resembled other 2-D CAD software, but it is usable. It is especially hard to create unique shapes with fillets and line breaks, but it is doable.

Pros: Lots of pro features, but still kinda simple once you get the hang of it. Great for clean visuals, and the color editing stuff helps a lot when you want more control. Switching between Adobe apps works super smooth too.

Cons: It’s not that easy to learn though. Just ‘cause you’re good at Photoshop doesn’t mean Illustrator will be simple it’s kinda its own beast. Other than that, no big issues for me.
