Has help with the yard looking real nice grass is green
Pros: I think it would be a great product because it makes it where you have no hands no termites no nothing
Cons: Great to work with can say enough about it

Overall a good experience, the app interface is well polished, the app just needs tweaked for Android 11 users though so it force closes less frequently (or not at all).
Pros: Easy to use and plan grid missions. The app interface very nice.
Cons: Android app needs to be fixed for the newest version of Android, it force closes occasionally. Works fine on my older Android devices though.

Pros: I mainly used Ground Control for ortho mapping. I paid for the monthly subscription when I had work to justify. The demand for ortho slowed down for me so I reverted to the free subscription model temporarily. I applaud GC for offering this flexibility and, besides the functionality it is the main reason for my loyalty to this product. I anticipate going back to the paid subscription in the near future.

Cons: Not too many cons except for some glitches I had with the GC interface displaying the ortho maps from Pix4D. Simply going directly to the Pix4D interface directly to view the map and use the tools was a simple workaround. It would be nice if I was able to consistently use the GC interface for viewing compiled maps as the interface is simple and professional in appearance.

Seems to be good but have just started using so will know more later.
Pros: Biggest Pro was the cost. Seems to be way cheaper than the other systems I have looked at.
Cons: It is a bit confusing to operate. The aircraft control interface is good but the loading of files for control could be more intuative.

Pros: Ease of use and got in depth in several areas that were on the test.
Cons: Needed to get more in depth in the sectional chart areas, was too broad

Very good. I've been pleased with the user interface both on the website and the mobile app. I've had some issues in flight with the app, but that may have more to do with drone issues than anything else. I really like that we can see all the flights being conducted, particularly if I have trials far away that need flown by another user, though some filtering capabilities would be great.
Pros: The website is pretty streamlined and I was able to figure most of it out on my own without much assistance.
Cons: With the landing page showing all the flight plans for every user in the company, navigation got bogged down some. If we could filter out only those flight plans or data files we're interested in, that would be a great improvement.

I'd like to use it again, seems like a solid product for light use.
Pros: When talking about this product it would be helpful to call it " Measure Ground Control" that would reduce confusion and help the user find the app much faster. It was easy to pln and execute a flight plan. Upload was also easy peasy!
Cons: No 3D I think. It's been awhile since I used it last.

Does its job and makes me smile.
Pros: Ease of setup and use are major factors. I like a small learning curve and this gives that to the tee. I am new to the industry but good on technology and I have found this to be very helpful and user friendly. This gets the job done.
Cons: Some of the mapping gave some confusion at first.

Working with the folks at Ground Control was great! I have a proprietary controller, and they worked through compatibility issues with me in order to get it working.
Pros: It was quick and easy to set up flight plans and execute them
Cons: Many of the other software packages allow you to utilize the software for free, then charge for data analysis

I am a 2-maps per month, "Free" user...so I really don't have a financial dog in this fight (so to speak). But, regardless, I believe everyone who uses this company's software (whether they pay or not) should expect a quality, error-free experience. On the two occasions where I submitted drone images expecting a quality aerial 2D map to be produced in return, I was less than impressed with the final results. Subsequently, I had to do my own post-processing of the maps provided in order to make then useable for my client. It could very well be that my knowledge and understanding of the software's capabilities are lacking, or that my expectations are too high. Either way, I haven't been at all pleased with this product...but, the "price" is all I can afford at this time.
Pros: Ease of use is probably my most favorable Pro. The user simply uploads their drone images, and the software takes over from there.
Cons: What I like least is the quality of the product/data. In my humble opinion, quality is mediocre at best. Though a lot of "data" is provided back to the user, it often lacks what I could call "quality control."

Other than the LAANC thing everything else has been great. I've grown to trust this app is gonna fly my drone exactly as I planned ahead of time and then bring it back when done. I have my own processing setup already but the 2 free maps per month have actually come in handy as well (when I'm in a hurry I'll start the upload while still in the field and once my computer was down at the time). I have recommended this app to many of my friends/pilots and I will continue to do so. 2 thumbs up from me.
Pros: I like how everything I need is all rolled into one software.
Cons: My only gripe to this point is while they advertise you can get LAANC authorization it's really just a link to Airmap. Kinda misleading as far as I'm concerned.

Started at $29/ month, now $99/$69 per month very expensive . Pix4D very limited use when compared To actual app.
Pros: Excellent grid and w/p missions. Supported M210/ XT2 camera
Cons: Not able to link new drone, Autel Evo 2 Pro by IOS or Android app
ED R. · Owner · Utilities · October 5, 2020
Pros: Easy to use and edit-Love the customer service!
Cons: None. There is nothing negative about this software
Michelle H. · RN · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 5, 2020
$7a
Pros: I like that the interface looked easy.
Cons: No one instructed me that you have to sign in to the DJI App on Measure Ground Control every single time and sign in to Airmaps in order to get clearance around some Geofences. The company I was flying for blamed me for this and has not hired me again since even though they knew I never flown with Ground Control before.

I used it one time to do the mapping for a golf course. I will use it again when I do another golf course.
Pros: To set it up on the computer with way points was really easy. When flying it did its intended job. The map turned out good except for a few problem areas listed below.
Cons: Issues with camera not loading up properly when launching. It would be able to fly the map but it wouldn't show the video on my ipad. IT would only show on the map the drone flying the course. I would have to reset my drone and ipad every time I did a battery change. Which was really frustrating. When I got done all the pictures of the course. There was an area in the middle of the course that the pictures were all over exposed. So super bright in comparison to the rest of the pictures on the map. When uploading the pictures I would have to be on the computer using it otherwise it would time out and would have to start the upload again. Also there was an issue with the height of the drone for the map. I tried 60M and it would cut off half of the mapped area I chose in the software. Wouldn't take any more pictures after that. When I moved it up to 90M it seemed to do the whole map. There was just some little issues that made it very frustrating.

inexpensive and uses Pix4D at its engine - the email report contains a fantastic detailed graphic / DSM as a thumb nail - this detail cannot be replicated in the programme while using - why ?
Pros: relatively easy to use - fair priced - good control of the drone for various options
Cons: the two data sets i used should have overlapped but didnt ! there was a 14m discrepancy - useless - why ? give me some clear deliverables that have 'use' both to & for the client !!!! otherwise it's just a pretty picture

Good
Pros: Easy to use. Easy to find answers for questions and or video.
Cons: Intial try in openeing up and to starthe proces.

Overall this is good software. It really comes down to your use case.
Pros: This product is easy to use and great for gathering survey-grade data about sites. For industries like construction, this software provide business value.
Cons: Where this product could use improvement is in the quality and fidelity of data produced.

I have only used this software once, but had no issues with it. I have an older tablet and was pleased with how smoothly and flawlessly it ran on my equipment.
Pros: This software was very easy to use and made more sense to me than other mapping software I have used in the past. The fact that it is free to use makes it that much better. I have always been a bit hesitant to let software fly my expensive drone for me, but Measure Ground Control worked well and I felt confident that my drone would return to home safely. Looking forward to using MGC more in the future.
Cons: The initial free trial that I received expired before I was able to get a map created.
Matthew D. · Owner · Renewables & Environment · October 5, 2020
Pros: This made my designs teams life so much easier. Although there was a cost, it saved so much time in installation and design. No more going up on a roof with a tape fighting the wind. Use a drone and save time!
Cons: The Ortho photos are sometimes low quality. I need to reach out to ground control for training on how to properly upload them.
Kyle H. · PM · Renewables & Environment · October 5, 2020
Not the version we need so not a good experience.
Pros: It integrates well with our drone we purchased.
Cons: The fact that we were sold the cloud based version instead of desktop version. This version does not support us completely with functions required. During training over the web we were told that Measure hopes they made this clear during the sale negotiations. I was not involved in the talks, so who knows.
Anthony M. · Associate Surveyor · Utilities · October 5, 2020
Excellent!
Pros: Powerful! The learning curve for a newbie is a bit steep, but a bit of time investment yields insights into what may become a worthwhile software investment.
Cons: The learning curve is a bit steep. A more gradual lead-in tutorial would help.
Mark W. · Owner · Photography · October 3, 2020
It's just so easy to have the information you need at your fingertips. One touch and you're there!
Pros: Very easy to use. Great value overall. Everyone should use this to stay on top of their game.
Cons: Needing a bit of guidance to start but customer support took care of me.
Paul W. · Driver · Facilities Services · October 1, 2020
I have been flying drones for 2 1/2 years, but I am new to automated flights.
Pros: My first use of the MGC software was with the waypoint-autonomous mission flights. After speaking with a supervisor about the way to operate the drone using this feature, I ran a test flight, and that went great. It was simple enough to use understand, that we went right to work with it, using it to capture our images on a commercial job. All of those imaging missions went great, and were put together as a commercial product. The potential for this software is vast!
Cons: I don’t have anything negative to say. I am a visual learner, so I would appreciate more videos of of the different features actually being used , kind of an over-the-shoulder view as that feature is being put into operation.
Daniel S. · Remote Pilot · Aviation & Aerospace · October 1, 2020
Generally pretty good.
Pros: Flight planning was mostly easy to use and did a good job of grid surveying the AOI.
Cons: No "rough" ortho generated during or very shortly after the mission. Extremely helpful to see where you flew, if the images are roughly taken in the correct area and if they are of decent quality.
