We have had an extremely positive experience with Accesso and [sensitive content hidden]. We are incredibly happy with the service we have recieved.
Pros: Accesso ShoWare is easy to use, and our customer service rep [sensitive content hidden] is absolutely fantastic! Her level of knowledge and professionalism is above wheat is expected.
Cons: There is not anything I can say we like the least about ShoWare. We have had an overall positive experience.
Amanda M. · House Manager · Performing Arts · May 15, 2025
I am a light user, as a venue administrator and use ShoWare mostly for reporting on ticketing statistics, specifically related to sales flow, revenue, and other ongoing metrics.
Pros: The software platform is relatively simplistic to use and easy to navigate, while the customer service remains top notch, with support being readily available.
Cons: Some levels of integration with other platforms, such as event and venue management softwares remains limited, with customize API's costly to develop.

Pros: It was a simple interface that allowed for a team of people to work efficiently.
Cons: My least favorite part of ShoWare was that since it is not decentralized, I don't know if my data can be breached and tampered with.
William C. · CEO · Online Media · May 6, 2025
Pros: User friendly. Support given by [sensitive content hidden], is stellar. [sensitive content hidden] always has answers to my questions and is extremely helpful and patient as a mentor and teacher.
Cons: There is no tool to merge patrons automatically. If I create a patron through my box office and the patron also creates an account online, there are two accounts in the same name. I understand I can manually merge the patrons and I do that. Any way to fix this?
Rebekah P. · Box Office Manager · Entertainment · May 1, 2025
Pros: It's easy to learn and understand, and the processes make sense.
Cons: There are a few glitchy things that happen with orders. Specifically with exchanges/modifying pricing codes. It'll sometimes cancel the tickets or duplicate them. The support team that we have is good though with troubleshooting and fixing issues

It is great! We have complete faith and confidence in the product, and the support we receive from your team.
Pros: By far, the most impressive aspect of ShoWare is your very attentive, very professional customer service. [sensitive content hidden], personally, is the reason our system is running as well as it is. She has so won the confidence of our team that we, generally, do not speak with anyone else. I'm sure you have a wonderful team there...sorry. :) She's just awesome.
Cons: I've thought about this for a while and have not come up with anything worth sharing. We are completely happy with ShoWare.

Pros: Easy for staff to learn and use, with intuitive event setup and ticket management. Allows full control over event pages, seating charts, pricing, and promotional features with customizable branding.
Cons: While basic tasks are easy, deeper functionalities (like complex pricing tiers or promo codes) may require training.
Edward K. · Director · Gambling & Casinos · April 29, 2025
Pros: Their reps are always helpful and easy to work with. We always receive excellent service.
Cons: Some marketing features are clunky, but the team always makes the updates quickly.
Windi B. · Ticket Operations Manager · Entertainment · April 28, 2025
Very pleased with the service and the software. Our staff found it easy to use. Happy with the vast number of reports available. Our Client Success Manager always goes above and beyond.
Pros: Easy to adapt to our special ticketing needs without requiring customization. Our staff's favorite feature is the nightly guide.
Cons: Our members find it confusing to add member benefit tickets to their cart online. We would like it if these tickets would show to them when they log in to their ticket account.
Denise M. · Senior Ticketing Associate · Performing Arts · April 28, 2025
I think my overall experience is good. ShoWare has made an effort to accommodate most of our needs. I am disappointed when I ask for a report, and I am told that will be $1500. Still waiting on some fixes with Venue manager.
Pros: What I like most is my CSM. She is understanding of my frustrations, advocates for improvements in the system, makes suggestions for efficiency, and makes me feel like no question is a silly question.
Cons: Quality of equipment and how it is shipped. Laptops are of a variety of sizes, quality, and have different drives, consistency would be nice. I wish that each POS system came in a set in a hard roller case. The equipment is packed in huge boxes unreasonable to move without the pallet.
Daylene B. · Box Office Supervisor · Events Services · April 28, 2025
I would describe my overall experience with ShoWare as very good and also enjoyable!
Pros: Mostly intuitive ease of use, easy access to events using a variety of different search methods.
Cons: $8c

The ShoWare experience is one of support and encouragement. Professional conduct with a personal touch keeps me a fan even after over six years of use.
Pros: ShoWare is more than an easy-to-use ticketing platform, an amazing array of reports and ways to serve our guests. It is a company with the nicest people with which to work who want their clients to succeed, and who never stop finding ways to improve their product.
Cons: It can't do everything! And although that is true, many tasks or features they cannot currently do are considered for development, or they have partner companies to step in.
Nancy H. · Box Office Manager · Entertainment · April 25, 2025
My experience with ShoWare has been great! The system is very comprehensive and allows one to customize many aspects. However, it can be a little text-heavy, which sometimes makes one miss important things. Overall, it's one of the best systems I have ever worked with! I really appreciate their quick and helpful customer service team too!
Pros: The ability to customize so much! It's one of the most comprehensive ticketing sales systems I've ever used. I feel like it is intuitive to use for both patrons and box office staff/management. The customer support is one of the most impressive things always really responsive and so helpful!
Cons: Things can be a little text heavy sometimes. I've worked with the system for over 2 years now and sometimes I'm still finding things that I've completely looked over because there is a lot of text on the pages. I think having some basic/simple tutorial videos for new users would be immensely helpful too.

Use it for work constantly and rarely have any issues. The only real downside is the occasional slowness and at times certain things don't work the way we like. (some functionalities don't align with out box office processes, but we make do) For example, we have a package for a specific presenter that allows patrons one admission per show in their season, but there is no way to enforce that online on the client side. Patrons are given a number of "admissions" for the season and we essentially use the honor system and hope patrons only reserve the correct number of admissions.
Pros: Works well, pretty powerful software for managing patron accounts and ticketing. Makes season packages and rollovers simple to track.
Cons: Slowness and general loading troubles. Seems to happen more during show nights when more people are accessing at once. Some issues with certain packages/admissions not working how we would like them to.

When I first starting using SW I was a Box Office Associate and used SW for every shift, I picked it up super fast. Eventually, I moved up in my role and now use SW to build shows, pull reports and use a lot of the back end side of things. Again, it is just really easy to use.
Pros: It is super user friendly and really easy to pick up as you first start using the program! I love the interface of each screen. The ease of the big buttons such as "Reserve Tickets", "Add to Basket", "Check out", "New Hold", etc. is so easy anyone can do it! Even as someone who works on the back end of SW, building shows etc. I can find my way and complete my tasks.
Cons: For the most part, I really like everything about ShoWare! I'm not the biggest fan of the hover pop out message when you are looking at the seat map. Sometimes downloading reports can take a long time to load. Overall I love it.

ShoWare works well for us to meet our current needs, and delivers a solid product with increasingly evolved technological capabilities. Their support team is exceptional, and plays a huge part in our continued loyalty to their services. This product may not suit all venues, particularly larger venues with more complex/nuanced ticketing needs. However, for a mid-sized venue, it's a great product with a wonderful, helpful, and innovative team who work hard to keep their clients happy.
Pros: ShoWare has excellent customer service representatives who are attentive and responsive. I love that we have a dedicated Client Success Manager who works with us on an ongoing basis and gets to know us and our ticketing structures. This helps expedite solutions when we need to troubleshoot, and also allows us to feel a sense of personal connection to the ShoWare team. The ShoWare team is also very open and flexible when it comes to thinking of out-of-the-box solutions for our pain points. Several times, they have offered to do custom work for us to meet a need. That level of support and service is rare, and I appreciate their collaborative approach to figuring out solutions.
Cons: ShoWare can be limited in some of its features and offerings, particularly with regard to patron data management, tracking demographic data, and complex ticket package structures/show builds. We run into issues with certain types of builds that require more nuance because the system does not have capabilities to address what we need, particularly with our season packages. That said, there have been many new features rolled out in the past several years that have increased system capabilities, such as awesome interactive seating charts and seat chart management and improved show build functionality. It seems that ShoWare is always working to improve and evolve its product (often times with direct client feedback), which is great!

Customer service is the best I've worked with but functionality is quite lacking
Pros: The customer service is amazing, attentive and helpful. [sensitive content hidden] in particular is wonderful to work with.
Cons: Functionality and interface is difficult. Reporting does not provide accurate and/or helpful information.
Matt M. · Box Office Manager · Performing Arts · April 25, 2025
I get calls and emails through the Porter County Fair email from other ticketing companies wanting to show me their ticketing system and I plainly tell them that I am VERY HAPPY with the ticketing company that I have and am not interested in looking, listening to a sales pitch or being contacted by them in the future. I can't imagine ticketing without ShoWare. We know that ALL of our money goes directly into our bank account, usually within 24 hours, and know that everything is completely accurate and the details are at our fingertips.
Pros: I like that we have support that is incredible. All of the managers, from [sensitive content hidden]-- they all know the product inside out, are very courteous and more than willing to help me whenever I have a question or need help. I have never experienced a better support staff in any industry.
Cons: The only thing that I could think of that could use a little improvement is a manual that could answer some questions when I venture into unchartered waters. If it had Frequently Asked Questions and maybe even a version of it that would be ShoWare for Dummies. But that is the only improvement that would be helpful to me.
David B. · Manager · Entertainment · April 24, 2025
They have been so dependable for our event for many years. Easy process and always available to help and troubleshoot.
Pros: Their customer service is so responsive, even after hours and weekends.
Cons: That's a hard one, I'm not sure there is something...ok maybe the high minimum of tickets required to be sold?
Jeannie H. · President · Performing Arts · April 24, 2025
Simply Outstanding! Our Account Rep, [sensitive content hidden] has ALWAYS been there for our venue and is probably one of the MOST patient individuals I have ever met.
Pros: Accesso ShoWare is ALWAYS available w/o fail when questions or problems arise, taking away any stress a venue may have during or before a ticketed event happens! Secondly they ARE EXTREMELLY patient with their clients. They introduced us to a fraud prevention system, which has resulted in a significant reduction of charge backs.
Cons: I am hoping one day that their platform would allow tap and pay, as patrons continue to increasingly use their phones to purchase products, this will be a MUST to ensure to that all patrons have more choices to purchase tickets on the day of the event
Ernie S. · General Manager · Entertainment · April 24, 2025
It's always a pleasure to work with the staff at Sho Ware.
Pros: They are very responsive to any and all questions and problems that arise.
Cons: I don't have anything negative to say about Sho ware.
Sue N. · Director of Box Office Services · Entertainment · April 24, 2025
It makes managing shows easier and teaching someone how to use is quite easy as well.
Pros: basic functionality, user friendly. Love to see the quick stats on the front page.
Cons: Not having direct ability to add on VIP packages. I don't love the ways of adding on a VIP addition and would love if it was a separate tab available in the show manager screen.
Amber N. · Entertainment Manager · Entertainment · April 23, 2025
Overall, it is the staff that retains our account. There are many ticketing platforms out there, many of which are more versatile, however, the staff that is always there to help.
Pros: Hands down, the very best thing about accesso ShoWare is the staff! [sensitive content hidden], our account manager, is one of the main reasons we have stayed with ShoWare.
Cons: Software/hardware communication. When printing tickets on the Boca, we have had numerous problems with the [sensitive content hidden] communicating with the ticket printer. When it comes to different printing avenues, such as an Epson printer, the "Bar Codes" do not align, and are unable to be scanned into the system. There is a big disconnect in dealing with actual printed tickets. Which, for a vintage property, like our historic theater, is absolutely essential.
Priscilla S. · Manager · Entertainment · April 23, 2025
Inheriting the product, Showare personnel [sensitive content hidden] have been very understanding in teaching and supporting the initial learning curve making the system easier to use the more you wade into the product
Pros: Easy to use for a seasonal facility. The system can do many things which expedites the ticketing process.
Cons: There isn't anything negative I'd say about the Showare ticketing product.
Neal M. · VP of Marketing · Gambling & Casinos · April 22, 2025
It has been positive. We started using it in June of 2018. The quality of the product and support are far beyond what we have used previously.
Pros: I like the stability and high quality customer service. In the last 7 years of using accesso ShoWare we have not encountered an issue with it crashing during large on sales and very minimal downtime overall. Fantastic product.
Cons: My least favorite is the lack of flexibility in the seating charts. You end up having to make multiple charts to use for different performances. This is minor and also a reason why it works as well as it does.
