Figma has allowed our organization to more efficiently prototype client work. Creating and using components helps to cut down on the busywork of replicating elements used previously.
Pros: Figma is a very good service for collaboration on wireframes and designs, giving a fairly quick and secure way of working together and sharing the designs with clients.
Cons: Like many tools like it, Figma can be pretty fiddly to get to the exact layer or component you want to edit.

As a QA standpoint, Figma has genuinely improved my testing workflow. Having a single source of truth for design means fewer back-and-forth conversations with the design team. I use it regularly to cross-check UI elements, validate user flows, and identify inconsistencies between the design and the developed product. However, I do wish it had more QA-friendly features like annotation tracking or change diff views. Overall, it's a solid tool that makes cross-functional collaboration much smoother
Pros: I like most about Figma is how easy it makes the handoff process between designers and testers. I can directly inspect design elements — spacing, fonts, colours, dimensions — without having to ask the designer every time. The prototyping and flow features are especially useful for me to understand the intended user journey before writing test cases. It gives me a clear reference point to validate the actual product against the expected design. Good in security that without access you can view the design.

Cons: My biggest frustration is the lack of proper version history visibility for QA purposes. When a design gets updated mid-sprint, there's no strong notification system to alert testers about what exactly changed. I've missed design changes that directly impacted my test cases because of this. Also, comparing two versions of a design side by side isn't as smooth as it should be, which makes regression checks on UI designs a bit tedious.

My overall experience with Figma has been good. It’s a very useful tool for design and teamwork, and once you get used to it, it’s quite straightforward. It really helps with collaboration, although there’s a bit of a learning curve at the start.
Pros: I like how easy it is to design and collaborate with others in real time. Everything is in one place and it makes sharing ideas and working as a team much smoother
Cons: It can be a bit confusing at first, especially if you’re new to design tools. Also, some features are limited unless you upgrade.

Overall id say its a great product in the market, great for concepts and building websites. Good community to help build from you just need the time to learn the more difficult capabilities.
Pros: its ease of use, similar to other software i've used before but with great functionality and easy to collab with team members. Would recommend to anyone.
Cons: Only small things that I find hard to find compared to other software, its easy to pick up but i do have to do lots of tutorials to find what i want.

Pros: I have been using Figma for various client projects for about 5 years now. It is my go to for designing and prototyping websites. It makes communicating and collaborating with dev team easy. The software keeps improving over the years and now has better features for vector illustrations as well as faster prototyping with figma make.
Cons: The new feature, figma make, is fun to tinker around with. I think it has room for improvement on the generated designs, but it gives an excellent starting point, making my workflow faster.

Figma does what we need it is great to have our designs in one place to ensure consistency accross the areas we work with , the develeopers of the app we are creating use these designs to work on the front end developement so a very im portant tool for our business
Pros: We utiise this for Ux designingfor a new app that we are creating , to allow us to collabrate accross the various developement teams to ensure we have a source of truth and we can update and ensure that these have version control
Cons: I do find it quite tricky to navigate around and it can be very slow at times and also loses connection

Figma has been a great tool—clean, modern, and easy to work with, especially in a cross-functional setup. It improves clarity between design and development and speeds up reviews, and even with the occasional performance or workflow friction, it’s still one of the most practical design tools I’ve used.
Pros: Figma makes collaboration feel effortless—designs are always up to date, and it’s easy to comment directly on the exact element without back-and-forth. The design system support is also a big win; components, variants, and shared libraries make UI work more consistent and faster to review.
Cons: Large files can get heavy, and performance can dip when a project has lots of pages, components, or prototypes. Also, version history and branching are useful, but they can feel a bit confusing unless the team is very disciplined with naming and workflows.
Rakhi V. · QA · Information Technology and Services · April 13, 2026
The overall experience has been really good. It's affordable to get started. The user experience is easy for collaboration and building product prototypes
Pros: Figma is a great design tool that helps him collaborate with both engineering, design, and product teams.
Cons: Figma can get overly complicated, and the AI features still need improvement, especially in terms of setup and ease of use.

I have genuinely enjoyed bringing Figma to my team and learning more and more about its capabilities each day! It has been a huge addition to my design team and we are loving our experience!
Pros: I have become the biggest and newest fan of Figma! I was introduced by a client and now have brought it into my own company and am using it nearly daily!
Cons: NO cons! It's an incredible value, incredibly user friendly and honestly just a fun platform to use!

Pros: Figma has a lot of capabilities and makes team collaboration easy. It's a great tool for detailed prototyping.
Cons: Learning the ins and outs of Figma can take some time, but they do have a lot of community learning resources and help features.

Overall is has been positive experience and getting better at it as I use it more and more. The usage for free users could be a better to enhance the experience.
Pros: Customization and the ability to add other information to enhance the project has been welcomed, also with plugins to other apps that help a lot with integration with projects.
Cons: Learning curve is medium and also it tends to have so much happening the you lose yourselve in something posibilities

Pros: - Great for real-time collaboration with designers and stakeholders. - Easy to leave comments and give feedback directly on designs. - Cloud-based, so no need to download or manage files. - Makes it simple to review UI/UX mockups and prototypes.
Cons: - Can take time to learn if you’re not from a design background. - Performance can slow down with very large design files.

My experience with Figma is good. It is fun and helps me make designs and work with mu team. Customer support helps if there is a problem. It is easy to move around and find tools.
Pros: I like Figma because it is easy to use. I can make designs and prototypes. My team can work together on the same file. My design are secure.
Cons: Sometimes it is slow if the design file is big. Some advances features need the paid version. It can be confusing for beginners at first. The free version has limits on storage and projects.

Pros: Figma is a great tool that allows us to collaborate with design team. I can provide constant feedback to design team, commenting on prototypes that are been developed. Integration with Jira is great, where we can have designs attached to software development tickets and it's quite useful. Also offers reusable components and lots of different libraries.
Cons: No major issue noticed, but sometimes navigation to different folders can be a bit difficult if you are a new user. Also search tool could be a bit better understand more context queries.

Overall Figma is a good place to collaborate, would be nice if they get better in the interface and the loading of big files
Pros: What I like about Figma is that operates in web browsers, eliminating installation needs and working across Windows, Mac, and Linux
Cons: I dont like about Figma is that large, complex files with many, or heavy, assets can cause lag, slowness, and high memory usage.
Anonymous User · Art · Retail · February 26, 2026
Overall I like it. Especially for creatives who are trying to think as a user when designing apps or web interface types of tech.
Pros: I like that this is an excellent tool for the early design stages of anything UIX related. It allows for simple communication and hands-on editing by a team.
Cons: My least favorite thing is that there is a bit of learning curve. I did watch quite a few Youtube videos on the layout and tools to overcome the learning curve though.

I'd used multiple different UI/UX design tools as a product manager. There was JustInMind, Sketch, Adobe XD, and a few others, but Figma was a genuine breath of fresh air. I have no plans of switching platforms again, and I know they will continue releasing even more useful features and improvements.
Pros: From a product management standpoint, it provides us our one-source-of-truth for all of our product designs, and it still gives me the freedom to experiment with designs and make prototypes. It also helps out our developers in a massive way. They have a very clear vision of what the final product will need to look like.
Cons: It's difficult to come up with any true downsides to using Figma, but I could mention that you really need to take time to learn the different modes, methods of editing, keyboard shortcuts, and especially how formatting works. I banged my head against the wall several times initially, but its because I attempted to jump right in without doing the homework beforehand.

Pros: I love figma's ability to design websites without any friction, it allows my software team to move quickly and create a mvp.
Cons: The tool has areas to improve. For example, a feature to automatically import ui from certain websites would be very helpful.
Anonymous User · Software Engineer · Information Technology and Services · January 24, 2026
My overall experience with Figma has been very positive. It’s a reliable, mature, and constantly evolving tool that I use successfully for both small and complex projects. It greatly improves collaboration between designers and developers and helps keep workflows efficient and well organized.
Pros: Figma is extremely intuitive and fast to use. Compared to Adobe XD, it feels much more advanced, especially in terms of real-time collaboration, component management, and design systems. Being cloud-based makes teamwork seamless. I’m also very happy to see AI features being introduced, which make the tool even more powerful and future-oriented.
Cons: The main drawback is the cost of granting access to temporary external collaborators. If they don’t already have a license, it can be expensive to add them just for a short period. Automatic renewals can also be a downside, as it’s easy to forget to remove or downgrade a license once the collaboration ends.
Nicolò S. · Web developer · Computer Software · January 9, 2026
Overall my experience with Figma has been very good. I use it together with my designers and it makes collaboration much easier. We only use the free version and honestly we’ve never needed to contact support, which is actually a good sign. It’s a solid tool for UX/UI design and much more practical than older tools like Photoshop.
Pros: I really like how easy Figma is to use with my designers. The UX is very clean and intuitive, so you don’t need a lot of time to learn it. It’s much more flexible than Photoshop, especially for UI and UX work. Real-time collaboration is a big plus, and even the free version is more than enough for our daily work
Cons: Sometimes it can feel a bit heavy when files get very big, and performance can slow down. Also, some advanced features are locked behind the paid plans (Only 3 free pages), but for most basic and medium projects the free version is still okay.

Figma was super easy to configure and use. It has always been a great tool and has only improved with time. I would have liked to better understand the understand the integration. Documentation is sparse.
Pros: I have used Figma for years and it is an invaluable tool for product design. Most recently I used the Figma AI to build out an app. The AI is excellent and easy to work with. I found that it accelerated my design and POC.
Cons: Building with the Figma AI, while easy, results in a POC that can't be easily transitioned to other app building tools. After hours of research, I found that I wasn't able to use the WeWeb/Figma integration, which I had expected to leverage.
Eric T. · Managing Member · Information Technology and Services · January 6, 2026
Pros: The best part about Figma is the cross platform possibility which Adobe XD could not provide. The new AI integrations also serve a huge purpose making figma a peak creative platform. Also their customer support is one of the best in the field.
Cons: In overall, Figma is one of the best Designing tools. But the limitations of plugins and their paid usage is a downside I've noticed in figma. It also has minimal possibility for animations but it covers up the flaw through its AI and prototyping with smooth navigation.
Anonymous User · Lead UI-UX Designer · Information Technology and Services · December 27, 2025
It's a great tool for prototyping UX design, whiteboarding for processes and concept mapping, and collaborating with teams.
Pros: I love how robust the features are as well as the various levels of user management for how deep you want to go into using it.
Cons: It can be difficult to learn if you're new to more advanced tools like prototyping. The collaborative features also can work pretty slowly and lag.
Sean N. · LX and Technology Manager · Education Management · December 20, 2025
It's a great product and i use it with other 3rd party programs like UX Pilot. I am currently a subscriber to the product. I enjoy using the program in my work flow, such as designing mobile apps and web apps.
Pros: Easy to use, quick to start designing products. I like the user interface because i can easily start prototyping my software without frustration.
Cons: There isn't much i dislike about figma. The user experience could be better designed. Using 3rd party plugins can sometimes be frustrating to use.

Great .It's my main tool for designing , prototyping , mockups. It has plenty of plugins .Its free tier it's more than enough to get the job done
Pros: Great value for money . Useful for desiging , prototyping , mockups .Great user interface and UX .Large community for support
Cons: It the best software of its kind.Way better than Adobe's alternative. The software lags a little bit however , probable because it's built using Electron
