Rocket Matter

Pros: Rocket Matter provides the tools necessary to our law firm to effectively manage our day-to-day. What makes Rocket Matter stand out is their exceptional customer service. Response time, follow-up, and follow through is above and beyond!

Cons: Certain reports could use improvement to make use of the information more user friendly.

Pros: I really don't like anything about Rocket Matter.

Cons: Inability to change dates - reprint e bills to a word format - the limitations of the reporting - the names of the reports which makes it difficult to find a report - who starts off reporting with "I want to" - it feels very juvenile.

Pros: The thing I like most about Rocket is the people that help. Rocket's customer service is fantastic. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Thank you Rocket Gurus and Wizards!

Cons: To get the most out of Rocket, one needs to be patient. There is a lot you can customize, so it just takes time to get the most out of Rocket. Be patient and curious!

Pros: It makes it easy to find contacts, calendaring, and billing information to have it all in one spot.

Cons: The mobile app is a bit confusing to use to enter time

Pros: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was very professional and got my problem resolved. He stayed on the line with me to make sure I was able to effect all of the billing rate changes I needed to.

Cons: That you didn't give [SENSITIVE CONTENT] a raise

Pros: Ease of overall billing process and generating Prebills. Other systems required too much additional work to generate an invoice or mark-up a Prebill. Rocket Matter made it so I have to do less than three steps to generate bills and it has saved a ton of time.

Cons: Not being able to write checks directly out of Rocket Matter and having to invest in Quickbooks additionally.

Pros: The software is user friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons: Constant problems with slow service. Accounting feature does not integrate well with QUICKBOOKS. Reports functions are limited. Company lags behind on Ad In integration with Microsoft Products. We had serious issues for over one month while RM engineering was “investigating” the problem. Our assigned customer service representative was rude and refused to take any responsibility on behalf of RM. we have moved to a monthly plan and will change platforms. RM looks great on the surface, but once you begin using same, you will find it is inefficient, clunky and not at all robust.

Pros: Once you get familiar with the system, it is a useful program. I only use it to log my time.

Cons: There are still a few minor pieces of the program that need to be addressed. It isn't entirely intuitive when you get beyond the basics.

Pros: It is user friendly and reasonably priced.

Cons: The colors are too soft and don't contrast enough.

Pros: Rocket Matter is intuitive and easy to use!

Cons: I would love to have a timer that "sticks" to the screen no matter what I do on my computer. seeing the timer all day is a helpful reminder to switch between tasks. I would also love to have underlying AI giving me billable suggestions based on my word doc or email usage.

Pros: seems easy to keep client billing and recording payments.

Cons: searching for certain documents that have been uploaded into client files. User has to remember what client /matter a certain doc was uploaded. To fix this issue, how about being able to do a dashboard search for the document?

Pros: Many years ago Rocket matter was brought to my attention as a billing, time management and accounting tool for Mac users. Since then it has grown and has outgrown its reputation as a Mac program while not outgrowing its utility for Mac Users. My assistant uses a PC running Windows. My accountant works on Linux and everyone communicates flawlessly. I spend 80 percent of my work time on my iPad Pro and the remained In a MacBook Pro. The RM app which works with my iPad and iPhone enables me to log time from anywhere. The[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] of RM, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], came out of Ultimate Software which is the leader in Human Resources software.[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has hired world-class people to make RM the go-to case and time manager for lawyers and probably others.

Cons: Every now and then I make suggestions to Rocket Matter and its features. I would like to complain but RM in fact listens to its clients.

Pros: As a legal assistant, I use Rocket Matter to enter my time for services performed on client matters. For the most part it is a quick and easy way to enter time during the work day.

Cons: There are times that it seems slow. Also, when entering time on multiple accounts one after the other, the system will freeze and I have to wait a few minutes for it to catch up.

Pros: Convenient to check billing on individual matters to make sure projects are staying on budget.

Cons: There is no much dashboard customization available to users of the software. The options under dashboard settings are limited to "Calendar Centric" or "Task Centric." My firm does not use either of the calendar or task functions of Rocketmatter, so this is all wasted space on the dashboard. I would prefer the ability to use some of this space to show more information about my running timers. Also, when you open the list of running timers, not enough of the matter name is displayed. It becomes difficult to differentiate between different matters without opening up the individual timers.

Pros: I like the ease of billing clients. I can do it from anywhere.

Cons: It freezes all the time. This is disruptive to my workday.

Pros: The convenience of practice management software generally -- consolidating bookkeeping, CRM, calendar, and more under one software roof.

Cons: I have no complaints. It's been all plus, no minus.

Pros: It's so easy to use! I'm in the process of transferring over my merchant services to Rocket Matter and it will make billing even easier! I enjoy the webinars very much as well.

Cons: Integration was not difficult. I'll let you know about the merchant services once I have it up and running.

Pros: I find the calendar function, the messages function, and the billing function of Rocket Matter to be the most useful. I use them every day.

Cons: The mobile app. Although I do use it and am able to access the calendar I wish the app was developed further into a more sophisticated utility. I would use the app exclusively if it was modernized.
