Prophix One

Pros: What I like best about Prophix is FP&A processes into an automated, and integrated platform. For finance teams—especially in mid‑sized to large organizations—it significantly improves both the speed and quality of planning, budgeting, and reporting.

Cons: Getting Prophix fully configured—models, data structures, workflows—takes substantial time and effort.

Pros: It is very easy to use. We use it for our forecast and budgeting process. Non -financial users were able to learn it very quickly.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind. The system has improved since when we started using it 8 years ago. The Prophix team takes feedback seriously

Pros: It pulls all of our data together in one spot and allows for multiple different layers of the data/reports

Cons: It is a little bit of a learning curve to understand the pieces. We are taking a very through and detailed approach.

Pros: Cloud based Excel like entry with add hoc reporting. It was easy to move Finance team to Prophix for forecasting and reporting

Cons: Less visual options for Power bi reporting. Dashboard could have more options. Bit more checking after implementation is over.

Pros: Prophix has helped streamline our reporting and has helped our monthly reporting become more efficient. data is refreshed extremely quickly and we have full visibility of our performance. Intuitive to use and users are able to build or modify reports to suit their needs.

Cons: Growing their product offering significantly and hard to keep with all the new offerings. Other than this no negatives as they are always listening to customers.

Pros: Prophix is very user friendly. It is very easy to use and if you have a question, they support is very helpful

Cons: Teh biggest con that I have is that it took a little bit to get used to the terminology to set up the reports

Pros: Prophix One is excellent for streamlining budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. It is able to take complex financial structures and make them easy to manage. Repetitive tasks can be automated and there is much less time spent problem solving manual errors.

Cons: There can be somewhat of a steep learning curve depending on what you are looking to get out of the system. However, there is plenty of support to get you to where you need to be. Some ERP systems can be trickier to integrate and if you are using large datasets you might experience some slowdowns.

Pros: User friendly and flexible and feature rich product. A Product which supports Multiple scenarios and geared up with different user-cases and fast and can handle complex calculations.

Cons: Currently certain limitation hinders the application to be deployed in larger enterprises. e.g. Process execution.

Pros: The overall product flexibility and functionality. They have a great supporting team to help get it set up and continue to support you throughout the journey.

Cons: Some of the complexity of setting it up and getting accustomed to how it works. It's not easy to learn, so be prepared to put in the time up front.

Pros: Through my use of Prophix, I have really liked the communication that their team has offered when it comes to aiding my company's needs. Their tools for budgeting are great when it comes to preparing for the following year.

Cons: Initially, Prophix can be very difficult to use. Learning the different names behind certain processes in their programs was difficult at first.

Pros: It is a good tool for consolidation process, ease the intercompany process and good output report quality

Cons: in term of consolidation, challenging to preform different currency in conso. Users managing multiple legal entities across different currencies sometimes find the system lacks flexibility in how exchange rates are applied or updated.

Pros: I like the workflow process. Makes things very easy to customize in order to get through our budget approval process.

Cons: The dashboarding. I think it's overall just not comparable to other dashboarding tools. It limits the number of visuals and the placement of visuals.

Pros: Easy to use, powerful, and combines all my data in one place that is easy to access anywhere I go

Cons: I think Prophix could continue to dive into machine learning expense forecasting and spread scenarios

Pros: Ease of use, ease to teach to new employees, as well as the ease for reporting

Cons: I wish there was a way to connect to Power BI

Pros: It is very easy and simple to understand.

Pros: Simplicity of the User Interface and the availability of the implementation teams for questions.

Cons: At this point, we have seen nothing but positives from our transition to Prophix.

Pros: Ease of use, great customer service, customizability.

Cons: Line item detail reports are not great for users.

Pros: I like the intuitive nature of the web interface for file management and the capability to have alternate hierarchies for different reporting requirements.

Cons: The inability to integrate reports into Powerpoint dynamically and the inability to easily build reports in excel and link them back to Prophix.

Pros: I found Prophix to be very intuitive FP&A software with average maintenance requirement.

Cons: Manual updates (attaching templates one by one, instead of mass update) on budget workflows.

Pros: Ease of use, simple to learn and to share with budget holders, saves time at month end and improves accuracy.

Cons: Nothing, even the time difference if we had to have a call with Canada is not an issue

Pros: Ease of use and the capability of the software. You can create Prophix to fit any business.

Cons: No Cons! Prophix has really helped our company streamline our month end closing.

Pros: Prophix made it easy to track and have dynamic numbers for the budget process.

Cons: The loading times have gotten worse - for opening reports, and for the report binders.
