Pros: Mosaic is a powerful, intuitive FP&A platform that makes strategic finance faster, smarter, and more collaborative. If you're tired of juggling disconnected spreadsheets and slow reporting cycles, Mosaic might just be the operating system your finance team has been waiting for.

Cons: Some learning curve for Excel power users who need to adjust to Mosaic’s model structure and Not yet as customizable as enterprise-grade tools like Anaplan for massive, global organizations.

Pros: It is very simple and easy to use. It puts all necessary tools in one place, making it user and admin friendly.

Cons: The only complaint I have is that it does sometimes have bugs, but it’s nothing that restarting it doesn’t help.

Pros: The analysis has been reallly insightful in getting all our data collated in one space. We can now quickly and easily compare metrics that in the past took a lot of time to create.

Cons: We still find Excel much easier to manipulate in terms of forecasting. Resource planning seems quite restrictive in terms of business specific inputs that we want to create

Pros: Mosaic has really changed how we organize our projects. It has given us freedom from spreadsheets. It helps us to plan projects and gives all the metrics we need to track our progress and helps us as we are growing our business.

Cons: There was a bit of a learning curve getting used to a new system.

Pros: Ease of use, report building, consolidation & support from Mosaic.

Cons: Institutional investors have difficulty getting internal approval to access the platform. I need to extract the reports in excel which is time consuming.

Pros: Easy-to-use and readily available for me.

Cons: Nothing was flawed at the timing of using it.

Pros: I like the organization of the documents and project management. I can easily see a projects status and understand where we are at without asking anyone.

Cons: It was a little difficulty learning something new but we made a giant leap from a manual process to Moasic so a learning curve was expected.

Pros: The canvases have a great interface and the ability to change the date range for all reports on a canvas is very convenient. Having a way to distribute financial data where the user can interact with it in a controlled way saves extra seats in financial software and a lot of training on reporting practices.

Cons: The customization in building metrics and reports is limited by the code free structure. Not all simple functions are able to translate the formula builder's syntax and there is some functionality from spreadsheet reporting that isn't replicated.

Pros: The integration with Sage and Hubspot is great, allowing us to have one system with the source of truth for financial and sales metrics. The modelling functionality is very useful and the support that we received from the implementation team to help us build out our dynamic models was very helpful.

Cons: Mosaic is continuing to add new functionality and capabilities, but there is currently a limited ability to customize the charts/tables within the tool. The team is very receptive to feedback and different needs and I would expect that there will continue to be improvements in this area.

Pros: The automated integrations with netsuite and bamboo hr Implementation and mapping went very smoothly The UI/graphs and customisations Customer support is timely and solves problems The AI tool to ask questions is really helpful, especially when it supplements with the video

Cons: What do you dislike about Mosaic Tech? Find it sometimes difficult to find certain filters/data updates as it is not where I would expect things to be (not as user friendly in that sense). Unable to integrate to multiple stripe databases

Pros: Ease of implementation and ease of use. Directly connecting to our GL and CRM tools has been great for reporting and forecasting capabilities.

Cons: Built more for SAAS revenue clients. We worked with Mosaic's solution consultants to help build forecasting and reporting tools that work for a project based business such as ours.

Pros: Mosaic has a very simple interface that is easy to understand. There are multiple systems integrations that seamlessly pull in data. Once you learn how to use the platform, navigation is intuitive . I am a primary user and use Mosaic on a weekly basis. Their support is very responsive and for quick questions, the chatbot is actually useful.

Cons: Mosaic is constantly improving on their product. I have used their software for several years and there have been some big improvements. A few things I dislike about the software are: 1. Have to unpublish models before editing them, making it difficult to edit a model and look at the canvas at the same time. 2. Unable to edit data coming in from data sources. I understand that it is important to keep consistency but there are instances where I want to change what department an employee is in for modeling purposes that is different than the department the employee is in in our HRIS system.

Pros: Mosaic offers immense potential for streamlined FP&A processes. Mosaic connects multiple reporting sources to provide a comprehensive view of company performance, reducing manual Excel errors and ensuring standardized formatting

Cons: It's significant upfront time investment can be a barrier to immediate value realization. Inability to connect to Rippling is also a big downside.

Pros: Mosaic allows me to quickly summarize financial scenarios within my organization. It enables our team to make key buisness decisions and scale our operations. It has been easy to use after the onboarding process. Very smooth onboarding processs with the dedicated team as well.

Cons: More customized charts / tables would be a nice to have within Mosaic. While there is a breadth of different charts and tables, it would be nice to have the ability to customize these displays more quickly than it currently is within the tool.

Pros: Mosaic allows you to simplify and even automate numerous monthly tasks including ARR reporting, headcount planning, SaaS metric reporting & benchmarking. Building visuals is extremely simple and straightforward and can be easily shared to internal stakeholders. FP&A tasks that historically took multiple days can now be done in a fraction of the time, leaving more time to analyze results and derive key business insights. Implementation and support teams are extremely helpful in go-live and ongoing support.

Cons: Some integrations can be limited based on internal structure, but there are workarounds.

Pros: Very attentive and supportive onboarding & implementation. They worked really hard to make sure we were all set up.

Cons: Finding time to learn how to maximize the use.

Pros: We got up & running on Mosaic with our opex & department-level reporting incredibly quickly. We have a ton of visibility into how our expense/headcount are tracking, and headcount planning is very straight forward. Many of our department heads have found Mosaic a much easier way to ingest data than the google sheets we were using previously. As a main administrator, I use Mosaic weekly & it simplifies our budget refreshes & BVA reporting significantly.

Cons: We are still using google sheets/excel files for more complex parts of our modelling (revenue), as they offer flexibility & speed of updating that Mosaic can't match. We also use google sheets when we need people outside the Finance team to comment or suggest edits, as Mosaic does not have those collaborative capabilities. We do not use any Mosaic reports directly in our executive reporting, as we can't customize them sufficiently to meet our needs.

Pros: Great product for SaaS companies. Easy to use and great out of box setup.

Cons: Needs more customization capabilities, but they have been great about constantly adding new ones.

Pros: It very complex but also very intuitive. The team provides a very good support and the materials on how to use the platform are really good.

Cons: It would be cool if they more possibilities for visualizing the data, the dashboards are very good but miss some customizations to make it perfect.

Pros: I didn't know much about this solution before it was introduced to me by another leader on my team but now I love using this tool because it allows for me to easily analyze our revenue data.

Pros: A structured data model driving your financial projections is important, and Mosaic makes it incredibly easy to map and manage that data model. It's a powerful platform with an intuitive UI that simplifies the forecasting process from start to finish. Mosaic also makes it very easy to share/collaborate with executives, department leaders, and ICs while maintaining version control and appropriate roles/permissions.

Cons: There can be some additional functionality with respect to revenue modeling (e.g., out of the box templates). Having said that, the revenue modeler is incredibly flexible and can be customized to fit any business need.
