Pros: How I can predict my month and see how well I need to do the following.It helps for budgeting purposes as well.
Cons: I wish I could see the projection over the course of the month rather than the end. If I have a big deal close, I would like to see how it effects my commission at that time rather than waiting until the end.

So far, great. I have never needed to query any information as I said, every figure has been accurate and has increased my trust in this software moving forward.
Pros: It has a very user-friendly interface and its user performance tracking is accurate and reliable, particularly with commission structure.
Cons: The fact that the website is not integrated with workday so we need to job on both platforms to check payslip and proposed commission pay information.

Pros: CaptivateIQ has been a strong addition to our revenue operations process. The platform makes compensation modeling clear and flexible, which helps our sales team understand exactly how their payouts are calculated. The reporting is reliable, the interface is easy to navigate, and changes can be tested without risk. Our finance and sales leaders both appreciate how quickly we can adjust plans as the business evolves. Support has also been responsive and helpful. Overall, CaptivateIQ has improved transparency, reduced manual work, and given us confidence that our compensation plans are accurate and aligned with our goals.
Cons: The platform has been effective, but there are a few areas that took time to learn. Initial setup required careful attention to detail and coordination between sales operations and finance. More complex compensation plans sometimes need extra configuration to get the results we expect. While documentation is solid, a few sections could be clearer for new users. Once everything is in place the system runs smoothly, but the early ramp can be slower than expected. These points aside, CaptivateIQ has still been a valuable tool and the ongoing experience has remained positive.

In my opinion Captivate is a perfect compromise between the efficiency of ERP system which is very effective but takes team of consultants to implement a simple change and the flexibility of Excel spreadsheet. It's a perfect tool for commissions team to handle everything commissions related and report on it.
Pros: Mainly how easy it is to implement and learn plus the flexibility it offers. Pair that with speed and efficiency of the system that also helps with planning/simulation and it's honestly the best commissions product I've used in my entire career. The ease of implementing even the most complex plans allows you to keep everything in one place and therefore track spending and performance. It is also extremely easy to use for the end users and when you get stuck you can count on instant support from their team. I would definitely recommend this product.
Cons: It's not so much the product's fault but the great flexibility it offers can turn against you if your organisation is not careful with plan design. Sometimes it would be easier to just be able to say 'no, this can't be done in our system' to some of the exotic, one off requests.

Cons: Default landing pages not customizable and not preferrable. Loading time is way too slow and often times it will time out or give an error that the data can't be displayed. Unsat. Dashboard navigation is clunky and slow to load or switch between other dashboards. Drop downs for filter options themselves take way too long to load or search for the appropriate value. Search values are too particular and/or don't always give a result for a value I see right on the screen.

Not a very useful product and a serious step backwards in many ways. I kept being asked to provide feedback and my thoughts were not to do it because I don't have much positive to say after 6 months of dealing with it.
Pros: It allows for single sign on option to access which is convenient. The details provided are correct, but to a fault it makes deciphering the information from a single account extremely difficult and manually calculating outside of the program.
Cons: The display of data is not very user friendly. You can't just scroll through information, it requires stepping through one page at a time and the amount of data on a page is limited and it can't be modified. Exporting to a spreadsheet is a cumbersome way to make something accessible. The pages query a database in real time even when the data only gets refreshed on a daily basis which slows down looking for anything and seems like it is stuck in 2000 for usability. Often the system simply times out when running a query so it provides zero information. I don't have a choice in paying for this service, but if I did, I would be immediately looking for an alternative or for the service to reimburse me for the pain that this system causes. When selecting some dashboards, there is no way to default to only look at the current year which requires manually filtering (every single time) to only look at the current year. The ability to modify the filters and save them is severely lacking.

Pros: CaptivateIQ is a solid tool for managing commissions, offering helpful automation and clear reporting. While the setup can take some time and customization, once it’s running, it makes compensation workflows noticeably smoother and more transparent for teams.
Cons: One of the more frustrating parts of CaptivateIQ is that initial configuration and model building can feel overly complex, especially for teams without dedicated ops resources. Once everything is in place it works well, but getting there can require more time, support, and trial-and-error than expected.

No complaints. Easy to submit disputes if they arise. I do not use the prediction tool much but plan to do so in the future.
Pros: UI is simple to navigate and the layout is clear on where is where. Commission calculation is accurate.
Cons: There are not any negatives I have since I am not the admin but rather a user. I used it at my last role so do not have experience with another platform.

Overall, CaptivateIQ has saved us days of manual work every month. Moving away from manual spreadsheets has eliminated 90% of our human errors regarding payouts. While the implementation took a few months to fully function, the time saved on dispute resolution and the trust built with the sales team has been well worth the investment.
Pros: The flexibility of the logic builder is the standout feature. We have complex commission structures with multiple accelerators and SPIFFs, and CaptivateIQ handles them much better than our previous spreadsheet-based system. The ability to use Excel like syntax made the transition easier for our team, as we didn't need to learn a proprietary coding language to build out the comp plans.
Cons: The learning curve for the initial setup is steeper than expected. While the logic is flexible, troubleshooting calculation errors can be time-consuming because it isn't always obvious where a formula breaks. That being said, the support team has always responded quickly and efficiently.

I have really enjoyed using CaptivateIQ. It was simple to set up, easy to navigate, and very helpful if I saw any errors or adjustments that needed to be made to my commission statements. I would highly recommend the solution for any sales org.
Pros: Easy to use, shows me clear breakdowns of quarterly performance, annual performance and what is due to be paid to me in the future.
Cons: It only forecasts what you would get paid commissions on if the customer has paid. It doesn't breakdown what you're owed, assuming the customers pay.

As a user, CaptivateIQ is great. It eliminates the "shadow accounting" I used to do in my own spreadsheets to double-check my paycheck. It gives me confidence that I am being paid correctly.
Pros: I love the dashboard visibility; I can see my attainment in real-time. • The ability to drill down into specific deals to see why I got paid a certain amount creates a lot of trust.
Cons: The mobile experience could be a bit smoother. • Sometimes the sync with Salesforce lags by a few hours.
