It is a great tool for quick and dirty stuff but it seems to be a bit too complicated. MS Office works for bigger projects. Notion
Pros: We keep adding more and more to Notion and it has become our repository for SOPs, for FAQs, for documentation of various meetings. Also the AI tools are pretty good.
Cons: It has gotten clunky and cumbersome as we migrated more and more, it is not as easy to navigate since it becomes one huge tree of stuff. Also It does not work very well for process documentation; we need sort of flowcharts with Notion Pages at each node and branch.

We use Notion primarily for task management across our team. It is deeply customization and we need just that in order to have it do exactly what we desire. We initially used Trello, but it was too simple and did not allow us to set up the kind of automations and pages needed to be as productive as possible. Notion has become a staple in our company and I am very satisfied with the product. We would gladly pay more money for this service as we have become dependant on it for our collaborations. One time, I even used it to create a private website I shared with a client and it looked amazing!
Pros: The deep customization and how you can essentially create anything you need while having your team work alongside with you based on what you created. It's not the easiest to learn how to use, but once you learn how to use it, the power really shines. The value for the money is great especially when you consider just how many pages you can create. I also love how everything I do gets synchronized with my team so seamlessly after setting up powerful automations. Another pro is the fact that it comes with so many different templates you can start from depending on what you want to create. The possiblities really are endless with Notion.

Cons: The barrier to entry is a little steep. Meaning to create exactly what you want, it will take some learning. Not an insane amount, but you do need to watch a couple youtube videos or read up on how exactly to use Notion to the best of it's ability.

The overall experience has been very good. I use notion daily, from making notes to noting down my journals. I would recommend Notion Everyone trying to increase their productivity.
Pros: One of the best productivity apps that I have ever used! The simplicity and number of features provided is generous. I make my class notes, project assignments etc through Notion only. The BEST feature is the Free sync with the app and pc version.
Cons: I wish we could integrate our existing ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude accounts into Notion AI without purchasing a separate subscription.

The biggest issue is the lack of a proper offline mode. If my campus Wi-Fi drops, accessing my notes is a headache. Also, the mobile app feels a bit clunky and slow compared to using it on my laptop. It definitely has a learning curve at first, too.
Pros: Overall, it's been a massive help for keeping my student life organized. I used to have notes and project files scattered everywhere, but now I have one central place for my engineering assignments, internship applications, and personal to-do lists. It’s highly rated for a reason and offers great value, especially once you get past the initial setup phase.
Cons: Honestly, the sheer flexibility. I use it to organize almost everything - from tracking my B.Tech coursework and Python/Java projects to logging my gym progress. Being able to create custom databases means I can set up my workspace exactly how I need it for task management. It's also super easy to share pages with teammates for group assignments.

Genuinely useful in work - a lifesaver for personal admin. Once i started working with the notion API and automating inputs & coupling with agentic ai, documentation and queries where great.
Pros: Cross team collaboration. Having a document space, that serves as a record and a live document is amazing with remote teams. It makes async RFC's genuinely colloborative
Cons: I dont love the fact notion AI massively increased the cost when i looked into it. Although it was a dream to have an ai with access to our documentation - the same thing can be achieved quite easily using MCP products.

Overall, I loved it. There’s so much that you can do with it. And I enjoyed using it. It helped me keep my business organized
Pros: I like how much you can customize Notion and make it how you want it to be. It’s perfect for those who want to Notion work for your brain
Cons: I didn’t like the scheduling feature at the time. It didn’t have recurring tasks and was limited on automations

Overall, my experience with Notion has been very positive. It’s one of those tools that naturally becomes part of the daily workflow because it’s simple, reliable, and genuinely useful. From a sales and SDR perspective, it works really well for collaboration, knowledge sharing, onboarding, and keeping internal information organised without overcomplicating things. The ease of use is probably the standout feature, and access across devices has always been smooth and reliable. I also like that it fits naturally into a broader SaaS stack without feeling disconnected from other workflows or systems. I can’t comment too deeply on value for money since I’m not involved in the commercial side, and I haven’t needed customer support because the platform has been stable from my experience. Overall, it’s a very practical and well-designed workspace tool that adds genuine value for teams, particularly in fast-moving SaaS environments where collaboration and access to information are important.
Pros: $93
Cons: The flexibility can become a downside if there isn’t proper structure or ownership internally. Over time, workspaces can get cluttered with duplicate pages or outdated information if teams aren’t maintaining things consistently. I haven’t really had issues with bugs or stability personally, although larger pages can occasionally feel a bit slow to load. Customer support also isn’t something I can comment on too heavily because I haven’t needed to engage with them due to not having major issues with the platform. Spam filtering isn’t really relevant to Notion specifically, but in terms of information management, things can become noisy if content governance isn’t handled properly internally.

Notion AI sometimes struggles with structured workflow tasks, so I use ChatGPT first and paste the result into Notion.
Pros: Notion AI made it much easier for me to set up CRMs and project libraries quickly, and it is extremely useful for editing my writing. I also like using AI agents to write in different styles.
Cons: It took time to understand at first, but Notion AI made it much easier. I wish Notion AI were more affordable because I use it so much.

I have had a great expericence with Notion. I have found a system to keep notion organized but you definantly have to have a sytem or everything gets cluttered.
Pros: Seeing as it is free it has great value for the money. I have never needed the customer support. It is easy to use. Easy to collaborate on projects. And great Data synchrynazation. I Recomen organizes every thing Into pages and using pages like folders for other pages.
Cons: One downside to notion is that the taks managment aspect of it is difficult. However I have found a system that works for me. Notion does not have folders so you kind of have to organize you pages as folders, and link pages in the page.

Pros: I think Notion brings a wide range of wonderful blocks into a single spot where I can quickly set up my own workspace and I rely on it as an effective system for projects when I am doing website builds.
Cons: I’ve noticed the interface can feel awkward to move around in and when several people begin creating pages it tends quickly losing structure and becoming difficult to manage unless someone constantly tidies things up.

Anonymous User · HR · Defense & Space · May 4, 2026
Overall my experience with Notion is good. It is very useful for documentation, tracking information, and organizing work related to reagent manufacturing, change orders, and QA reports. It also helps in basic tracking of tasks and can support cost-related notes and invoicing records if maintained properly. It is cost effective and simple to use, especially for documentation purposes, but not ideal for complex workflow management.
Pros: like that Notion is very flexible and easy to customize. It helps to organize information like manufacturing process notes, reagent details, and documentation in one place. It is good for maintaining records of change orders and QA-related information like lyo beads reports. The interface is clean and more user-friendly compared to other tools.
Cons: Sometimes it is not as strong for structured workflows like ticketing systems. It does not provide advanced tracking or automation.

My overall experience with Notion has been very positive, as it provides a powerful and versatile platform for organizing work, managing projects, and collaborating with teams. Its flexibility allows customization for various business and personal workflows, making it a valuable productivity tool. Although there can be a learning curve and occasional performance limitations, the benefits of centralizing information and streamlining operations far outweigh the challenges.
Pros: Notion offers an exceptionally flexible all-in-one workspace that combines note-taking, project management, databases, and collaboration tools in a single platform. Its customizable templates, intuitive interface, and seamless team collaboration features make organizing workflows highly efficient. The ability to centralize knowledge, tasks, and documentation significantly improves productivity for both personal and professional use.
Cons: While Notion is highly versatile, it can have a steep learning curve for new users due to its extensive customization options. Performance may slow down with large databases or complex pages, and offline functionality can feel limited compared to some competitors. Additionally, certain advanced features may require workarounds, which can be time-consuming for users seeking simpler out-of-the-box solutions.

Notion is really dope. I can create what works for my own personal workflow system and even link task to my calendar which helps with being a business owner, a research assistant, full time grad student and consultant.
Pros: Notion at first felt a little scary to use but then I started to find some ease with it as I kept playing with it. It’s really easy to do task management and the value of just the free version is amazing
Cons: Felt a bit bare at first, but then I realized through other platforms that I could build out what I need
Ashleie G. · Maternal and child health systems analyst · Hospital & Health Care · May 2, 2026
Pros: Easy to use task manager, it looks like a notepad but behaves like a team's source of knowledge The team can collaborate easy on contributing more knowledge to it
Cons: Its packed in features and that can sometime overwhelm certain users Sometimes moving data from Notion to other place doesn't go smoothly (it doesn't look the same as it is on Notion)

Notion is a great collaborative, real-time platform that allows us to work as a remote team without any ambiguity or missing information. It’s simple to use, but it can also do a lot.
Pros: Notion is our all in one intranet, planner, documentation system, note taker, and so much more. We use it to create public-facing pages as well, allowing external parties to have access to content when needed.
Cons: As with most other modern business software, the thing I like the least is that Notion tries to push things like AI heavily, when there’s so much saturation in the market already. Almost every platform or software we use is trying to push their AI solution, and it gets frustrating.

Overall, once I learned how to use Notion and Notion AI agents I have been very pleased at my productivity.
Pros: I love that notion has several pre built templates available to help new business owners like myself get started without being overwhelmed.
Cons: When there are sections on my homepage I wanted to remove, it would send the entire page to trash instead of just removing from that section.
Amanda S. · Founder · Writing and Editing · April 23, 2026
Overall, my experience with Notion has been very positive. It is a strong tool for people who want one central place to manage their work, ideas, and life admin.
Pros: Notion is visually clean, which makes organizing information feel less overwhelming. It works well for managing notes, projects, calendars, and workflows in a single platform, so you do not have to jump between multiple apps. The templates are also helpful, especially for beginners who want to get started quickly without building everything from scratch.
Cons: For new users, Notion can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many ways to set things up.
Matthew M. · Holistic Nutritionist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 22, 2026
Marie Christine G. · Assistant RH · Telecommunications · April 21, 2026
My overall experience with Notion has been very positive because it’s a flexible and powerful tool for organizing notes, tasks, and projects all in one place. While it takes a little time to learn and set up, it becomes incredibly efficient and useful once everything is customized.
Pros: What I like most about Notion is how customizable it is, allowing me to organize everything from notes to projects exactly how I want. It also keeps everything in one place, making it easy to stay organized and manage tasks efficiently.
Cons: There isn't anything I dislike about Notion. It just can feel overwhelming at first because of how many customization options there are.
Shelby D. · Digital Marketing Specialist · Banking · April 20, 2026
Overall, my experience with Notion has been very positive. It’s a powerful all-in-one tool that helps me stay organized and manage my work efficiently. It’s especially useful for students and individuals who like to customize their workflow, but it may take some time to fully understand all its features.
Pros: Notion is extremely flexible and allows me to organize everything in one place, including notes, tasks, and databases. I like how customizable it is, so I can build my own system depending on my needs. The interface is clean, and it works well for both personal use and studying.
Cons: Notion can feel complicated at the beginning, especially when creating databases or advanced pages. It also depends on an internet connection most of the time, and performance can slow down when pages become large or complex.
