Splunk Enterprise

Pros: Splunk Enterprise è estremamente potente nell’analisi dei log e nella gestione di grandi volumi di dati. La capacità di centralizzare informazioni provenienti da diverse fonti e trasformarle in insight utili è sicuramente uno dei suoi punti di forza. Ho apprezzato molto anche la flessibilità nelle ricerche e nelle dashboard, che permette di adattarlo a diversi casi d’uso (monitoraggio, sicurezza, troubleshooting).

Cons: La curva di apprendimento può essere piuttosto ripida, soprattutto per utenti non tecnici. Inoltre, la gestione delle licenze e dei costi può risultare complessa e talvolta poco trasparente. Anche alcune funzionalità avanzate richiedono configurazioni non immediate.

Pros: We loved that it was a centralized place to mange our security logs We used it also to analize the data coming from these logs and create dashboards from the data

Cons: The UI can be improved, its not very easy to use, and it takes quite some time to learn. Also the price of it is quite high

Pros: La solution permet de centraliser et d’exploiter de grands volumes de logs en temps réel, ce qui facilite la supervision IT, la détection d’incidents et l’analyse de sécurité.

Cons: Le coût peut être élevé, notamment en fonction du volume de données indexées. La mise en place et l’optimisation nécessitent une expertise technique avancée

Pros: What I liked most about Splunk Enterprise is its powerful real-time search and analytics. It turns complex machine data into clear insights, with customizable dashboards and strong alerting that keeps teams proactive.

Cons: What I dislike about Splunk Enterprise is the steep learning curve, especially for new users working with SPL, and performance tuning can require dedicated expertise.

Pros: Splunk Enterprise provides me with great valie for money when compared with other software applications. Till moment, i received the support i need when required and in a good time too. It's quite easy to use and date is well managed to give more accurate predictions.

Cons: At present, Splink Enterprise has not been giving any issues. My team seldom complains about the cost but when i make features comparison with its contemporaries, i could factually conclude that using Splunk Enterprise is a great deal.

Pros: The "Schema-on-Read" Flexibility, Search Processing Language (SPL), Real-Time Dashboards & Visualizations, Massive Scalability

Cons: High and Unpredictable Costs, Steep Learning Curve, High Administrative Overhead, Performance Degradation at Scale

Pros: It’s definitely value for money and the impact is very high. You can increase the productivity due to this.

Cons: It is a bit complex and needs time to learn. Splunk integration is complicated and need expert advise.

Pros: Best in class Log analytics and real time log event monitoring. Friendly UI for all types of users. Quick dashboards with query insights in background.

Cons: Not presented as a holistic Observability platform for all needs, with focus more around logging pipelines only. A bit of strategic confusion after acquisition.

Pros: Easy setup and the search speed is fast, very reliable to ingest data. Dashboard is powerful, but building a fancy dashboard takes time, the Splunk community is a good resource.

Cons: Price is a little bit high. The community feather is good though, I can find useful info from it. I wish the support can be easier.

Pros: It provides an easy to use platform for application and log management. I have found it very easy to setup and use.

Cons: I do not dislike anything about this software. I enjoy using the interface and I have had a good experience with the support team.

Pros: We are utilizing splunk for real-time log analysis and threat detection. We were able to use the correlation search and visualization services to figure out suspicious activity across systems before it got out of hand.

Cons: It’s heavy for resources and not for beginners will required staff that are trained for setting up and optimizing it.

Cons: Splunk Enterprise can become very expensive at scale, especially with high data volumes and long retention periods.

Pros: Building tools and reporting is the best, easy to pull logs, and able to create dashboards.

Cons: It is a bit pricey, that's why we don't use it as a primary logs software, and at the beginning, it is overwhelming

Pros: Does a great job of tracking issues on various types of devices (running Linux, Windows) whether desktop, notebooks, or servers. Also, the software works on cloud-based systems or bare metal systems.

Cons: No issues were encountered while using the product.

Pros: Splunk has an amazing user interface. It's pretty easy to find what we need on it. Its correlation_id resource is just fantastic.

Cons: Occasionally its search didn't work so week for me.

Pros: Splunk is really user-friendly and helpful service for SOC operations. Dashboard is very good and easy to use. Remediate threats and provides SOAR for it.

Cons: It is quite difficult to set up in the beginning. It took us a lot longer time to load our data into the system.

Cons: Il costo elevato se confrontato con altri SIEM

Pros: 1. Provide real-time alerts to manage malware and threats. 2. We can integrate AI and ML as well to take help in detection. 3. Ease of use and implementation.

Cons: 1. Little bit difficult to overcome the budget with features of splunk. 2. Issues with customer support help.

Cons: Purtroppo devo ammettere che il costo di Splunk Enterprise è molto alto

Pros: L'interface utilisateur est assez intuitive pour une prise en main rapide et facile de la solution. Splunk Enterptise dispose de fonctionnalités puissantes pour rechercher, présenter sous format compréhensible par l'humain et analyser des données issues de différentes sources. Cet outil est d'une grande aide pour des prises de décisions éclairées.

Cons: L'installation et la configuration de la solution exige des connaissances approfondies ce qui peut être difficile à appréhender pour un nouvel utilisateur.

Pros: The way it can be integrated to collate all required information at one place

Cons: I have not see any least things so far in the usecases

Pros: The customer service was incredible and the account rep was kind.

Cons: It was very difficult for us to configure with our currents data.

Pros: The software is user-friendly and has powerful data visualization tools.

Cons: I wish the pricing was more affordable for small businesses like mine, and some features can be overwhelming for beginners.
