Great for IOS and Windows. You don't have to have any technical ability to set up the software. It is very simple to use.
Pros: Easy to set up and use. Great for remote on IOS and Windows. Seemless operation of remote computers.
Cons: I really couldn't find anything wrong with the application. At first I thought it was a little bit of a drag that I had to pay for a small license. But tried to find something free that talks to iOS.

I'm extremely efficient, able to purchase and get using within a minute or two. I haven't had the need for a support request yet, however they do very good messaging around upcoming maintenance windows.
Pros: Very reliable. Consistent behavior. Excellent responsiveness on remote sessions. Identical experience across Mac and PC. Overall, a very high-quality product.
Cons: On occasion, if the remote device has been sleeping for a while, the initial connection by Splashtop may not allow input and require a refresh. A minor annoyance that one would only assume would be common with the complicated solution domain like this.

Great, it has never dropped me and it's simple to understand and easy to use. I find it very reliable indeed. Speed of connection is excellent.
Pros: Very easy to set up and use. No drops in service and stays connected very well. I have had no issues at all since joining Splashtop and it out performs my previous service incredibly. I am so happy I have this service and after 2 months of use I have no complaints!
Cons: I wish I could minimize the centered "top task bar" when connected because it obscures my ability to minimize or close windows when using a split screen.

Love the freedom it gives me to work from home or on the road. I dont feel so tied to the office, because I can log straight onto my work computer from home!
Pros: I love the access to all of my work documents etc. even when I am away. It allows me to work remotely much easier!
Cons: It can sometimes lag a little, or shut down unexpectedly but overall the program is great and I recommend it!

My overall experience with Splashtop has been extremely fulfilling. The tool ensures we offer remote assistance quickly so our remote employees do not face any downtime.
Pros: Splashtop has highly proactive and responsive clients support team that offers helps 24/7 so our team do not experience downtime. I like that it has a clean and intuitive interface that is very easy to navigate even for new users without any technical skills.
Cons: I have not experienced any challenges with Splashtop. It has been a seamless tool for us. NO dislikes.

We use Splashtop for access to our building controls system and we can access it from anywhere in the world.
Pros: You get real value with splashtop business for your money, it is very reasonable for a yearly subscription and have never had a problem with billing.
Cons: Not a lot of complaints for this product, my subscription allows 3 computers on at once, they could add a couple more users. 3 users is still a good deal.

It is a very easy app to use and understand. It is much more reaponsive than the last remote service that I used
Pros: I like the clean and easy look of Splashtop as well as the responsiveness of the site. It is easy to use
Cons: I am just learning about how to print from my remote computer to the one that is near me. There is a bit of a learning curve

My overall experience has been amazing. This has made my business grow tremendously. I can work from anywhere anytime.
Pros: This is a wonderful product to connect with my client's computers. The price is a great value for each of my clients. It is very easy to use and not much set up. The chat functions with customer service is quick.
Cons: I have been using this for almost five years and I don't have any complaints yet. I guess the only complaint I would have is that sometime it stops streaming on my client's computer and I need to call and ask them to run it.

great, secure, no admin time overhead. works every time we want to access the system - and never any failures
Pros: Moved to new location with new internet service and new provider, splashtop performed perfectly after the move
Cons: no cons, simple and reliable, it is easy for users to use and access systems remotely with no relearning every time they log into the system.
Jeff C. · CEO · Oil & Energy · February 9, 2026
Pros: Outstanding support and an exceptional customer experience Honestly, I never imagined I would have this level of access and attention from the Splashtop team.
Rodrigo M. · Ceo · Computer & Network Security · January 28, 2026
I came into a team that was using a single Parsec account to manage multiple systems which is not a good place to be in. In a previous job I had done a similar deployment with Teamviewer only today to find out they have really dropped the ball. Splashtop hit the budget value and the feature requirements and it was easy to get rolling. My team from technicians to salespeople was able to "figure it out" quickly and now they wonder what we'd do without it.
Pros: Obviously it works. The connections are fast, plenty of options (that actually work, turning the speed option on actually makes a difference on a slow connection). So far support has been fine but a good note from me is I haven't needed to reach out to support all that much, things work. The management system is also straightforward, was able to get up and running quickly. Also the price is good value and something I did like about the company is they simply don't offer a "free" option thus sidestepping the ability for scammers to use the system. Oh and they also really only do remote access and not a dozen other things. They seem focused on core business and I appreciate that.
Cons: The deployment system is a little sparse, only a few options. Also would prefer is SSO was not gate-kept behind the Enterprise version. The biggest issue I had was just buying the thing, the purchase page is a little confusing with different options that overlap but makes you feel like you need more than you do.

Very pleasant - helps make my job a lot easier when a script doesn't cut it and when I won't be able to walk a client over the phone through a fix. Remoting in is a necessary tool for any IT provider but this remote tool specifically feels much cleaner and provides a smoother connection than others I have used - not as buggy and provides feedback when things go wrong.
Pros: Very simple to use, convenient tools that make it so I can perform remote IT effectively. The ability to swap between admin controls when things get serious and ease of management are the most valuable tools.
Cons: At the moment, the only complaint I would have is the way multiple monitors are handled. In Splashtop business I can setup a client with 3 monitors in 3 windows for easy use, but in the RMM app I have to swap between monitors one by one.
Andrew W. · Support Specialist · Information Technology and Services · December 26, 2025
Overall, I have loved this app so much. I could go anywhere or be anywhere with no worries because I know if something pops up, I can always easily access it remotely.
Pros: Splash top is not talked about as it should be! I love the features this app carries. It has simplifyed my busy everyday life on the go.
Cons: There have not been many bugs or issues with this software that I have experienced. I have had very few connection issues which have always been internet problems it seems like.

From the initial test drive to deployment, customer service has been wonderful and I was able to get this software out to all the devices in my organization without any issues. I am looking forward to utilizing the add-ons, especially the software updates.
Pros: My company loved the price, yet I love the capabilities. Its so easy to deploy, and the customization is wonderful. I am a very organized person and the computer management options are everything I need. This software checks all the boxes.
Cons: I would like to be able to switch screens on the device I am remoted into easier. There is only one button to switch and some of my customers have multiple monitors I need to flip through.

It was fairly wonderful upon initial implementation (after GoToAssist after being railroaded into GoToRemote and telling us they were sunsetting the product) then it went from good to bad to worse after update iterations. In the last month it has become nearly unusable by a many of us. It would either not connect unless you are patient to wait a few minutes, close it, start it, and repeat the process between 2 to 6 times. Then after a little while of using, it would become unresponsive or literally crash on you and close all existing session and you'd have to start all over again. A major source of frustration when you are under pressure to resolve issues remotely. Their support became bad with time.
Pros: It's easy to deploy. The interface is smooth. It has wonderful features. It's fairly easy to manage.
Cons: $78

Splashtop was relatively easy to use for solving an internal network access issue with my employer and seemed easy enough for IT to set up
Pros: It was convenient for resolving connection issues between internal networks for employees to ease access
Cons: Splashtop was a little bit of a Learning Curve, and sometimes had connectivity hurdles/limited access
Kaila C. · Property Administrator · Real Estate · September 27, 2025
i use it fo my sons business to keep his computers updates and running well logging in after hours...
Pros: It was easy to set up and for what I need it for it works great. I log in to computers after hours with no proplems
Cons: sometimes getting customer set up is not easy to explain they dont unserstand simple instructions on how to start it once downloaded
Bruce M. · IT support · Building Materials · August 13, 2025
Brilliant software that allows me to remote into users machine. The software can be configured such as one click remote, set message once in machine and many more. It is also very easy to deploy on to users machines.
Pros: Splashtop is key to my work, it is the main remote control software I use. It is very responsive and has many key features such as file transfer, one click paste and ability to switch between multiple user screen. Connection is stable and very reliable.
Cons: Sometimes there maybe connection issues, and may take a few attempts to remote into users machine. Connecting to a Mac device can be tricky as the user has to enable certain permissions in order for me to gain access.
Wasek T. · IT Support Supervisor · Information Technology and Services · August 3, 2025
Very reliable with minimal issues. It's difficult to recall a time when there was an outage for the product.
Pros: Better pricing model than the competitor we were using. The options available were also not as limitied.
Cons: We have run into some issues on some laptops that go to sleep. The SplashTop agent is running but you cannot connect. You have to close the agent on the remote computer and reopen it.

Pros: It is easy deploy cross platform both the SOS (One off) technology and streamer ( Unattended). The web UI is useful
Cons: If USB Redirection came with the SOS package i have it would be 100 percent. i also find the Linux option (like everything Linux) is poor and limited but it is there !!
Peter R. · IT Team Lead · Farming · July 22, 2025
Overall, I appreciate splashtop and it's focus on building off of it's feature set that is somewhat different from it's competitors. I would recommend this to anyone who just needs something to connect to remote workstations.
Pros: Splashtop has some features over other competition that I greatly appreciate. Multiple monitor support, consideration for user sessions in an RDS environment, and a comprehensive toolkit make this a preferred remote support tool at my place of work.
Cons: Some connectivity lag and UI clutter makes this my secondary method of remote connection to client systems.
Lorenzo K. · Security Project Engineer · Information Technology and Services · July 21, 2025
Good platform, that is reliable and integrates well with remote management tools (I.e. IT RMM platforms).
Pros: Always seems to connect to Client PC’s, and the background services on startup are reliable. Works for Mac and Windows 10/11 clients.
Cons: The Mac client can be very glitchy, particularly when connecting on for the first time (i.e. receiving support).
Tom S. · Director · Information Technology and Services · July 15, 2025
Overall its been decent, had to get used to their web admin center because things are categorized in a strange way that has things buried in many menus. Splashtop is nicer for smaller organizations it feels like.
Pros: Its enduser friendly, not too complicated for a standard user. Its nice you can enable and disable accounts whenever you need to for licenses.
Cons: Not as powerful as other remote tools if looking at it from an IT perspective. Sometimes it has hiccups while remoting in and switching users.
Timothy W. · IT Consultant · Biotechnology · July 7, 2025
It's reliable, we click start session, and the session opens. Everything else is just a cherry on top!
Pros: It simply works! After trying every other RMM tool, Splashtop feels like a breath of fresh air. Its lightweight design offers stable connections.
Cons: I can't think of any at the moment. We use Splashtop via our RMM vendor, and it's been the most reliable of the three options we have available on the platform.
Andrew S. · President CEO · Information Technology and Services · July 2, 2025
Overall Splashtop is okay but there is room for improvement as usual. One thing that is annoying is that Splashtop looses the connecting when trying to connect to a VPN on the end users device which doesn't happen with other solutions.
Pros: It connects us to our clients devices very easily and quickly. This makes it much easier for us to help our clients out
Cons: It doesn't always connect on its first try and we might have to try and connect multiple times in a row for it to get us connected
