Overall, it's been a pleasant experience with Workable. We are a company that is constantly hiring due to the cyclical nature of our work, so having a helpful tool like this makes life easier!
Pros: We are a very small boutique catering and events company so we use it for job postings and are able to post instantly to multiple message boards.
Cons: No real cons thus far. We have only just begun working with it but so far it proves to be quite user friendly and is definitely a useful tool in hiring.

it has been very positive. the support from the account management team has also been fantastic when there are questions
Pros: it is an easy system to use, especially for a smaller organisation. lots of reporting functionality.
Cons: the advanced functionality feature require you to purchase an advanced level license which isnt always possible for smaller orgs

Overall, my experience with Workable has been very positive. It significantly streamlines the interview and hiring process, keeps all candidate information centralized, and makes collaboration between hiring managers extremely smooth. The platform provides a strong balance of ease of use, useful automation, reliable customer support, and solid value for money. The ability to collect structured feedback and reviews from interviewers helps improve the quality of hiring decisions, and features like scheduling, templates, and customizable stages save a lot of time. While a few advanced features could be more flexible, Workable remains a reliable, efficient, and user‑friendly ATS that supports a modern recruiting workflow from start to finish.
Pros: What I liked most about Workable is how easy and intuitive it is to use, even for teams that don’t have a dedicated recruitment specialist. The interface is clean, the workflows are straightforward, and the process from job posting to hiring feels efficient and well‑organized. The candidate interview features stand out — especially structured interview kits, built‑in evaluation forms, and the ability to gather feedback and reviews from multiple interviewers in one place. This makes collaboration smooth and ensures hiring decisions are consistent and fair. Its level of customization is another major advantage. From customizing pipeline stages to tailoring application forms, it allows the hiring process to adapt to each team’s needs. Finally, I found the customer support responsive, helpful, and quick to resolve questions, adding strong value for the money.
Cons: The area I liked least is that some of the more advanced customization options — such as deeper workflow automation or highly personalized reporting — can feel limited unless you're on a higher-tier plan. Additionally, while the platform is generally very easy to use, the reporting dashboard could be more intuitive, especially when exporting detailed hiring metrics or analyzing pipeline bottlenecks. For organizations with very large hiring volumes, the candidate search filters could also be more flexible.

Pros: Easy to use, great dashboard and navigation through the system is pretty effortless. The tracking of each candidate is good
Cons: Pretty pricy in comparison to some other systems / platforms that are currently on the market. I think if they change their pricing it would be best
Jean A. · HR and OPs Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 2, 2025
We really enjoy using Workable! It’s super easy to learn and navigate, and the setup process was quick and hassle-free. Their customer support team is excellent, and the automation features have saved us a ton of time in our hiring process.
Pros: The platform is very user-friendly even for new team members. The automation features have saved us a ton of time in our hiring process. and interviewing. And also candidate interviews can be scheduled by connecting our official email which most helpful which make work easier and we can keep proper track of each candidate. Workable gives me confidence when it comes to data security which most important.
Cons: I also wish there were more customization options for reports and templates. And pricing can feel a bit high for smaller teams.

Overall, the software delivers a good recruitment experience - intuitive, secure, and adaptable to a variety of hiring needs. With continuous improvements to its AI and cross-functional capabilities, it’s well on its way to becoming a truly all-in-one recruitment solution.
Pros: One of the standout qualities is its adaptability - the platform easily adjusts to our evolving recruitment needs, whether we’re scaling up hiring efforts or fine-tuning specific workflows. The new features being rolled out regularly show a real commitment to innovation. The system is incredibly easy to use, from posting job ads to managing candidate pipelines, everything feels seamless and well-organized. Security is another major strength. The platform gives us full confidence when handling sensitive candidate information. The interview scheduling is quick, efficient, and helps our team coordinate meetings effortlessly, even across different time zones. Customer support handles the inquiries in a reasonable time.
Cons: The recently introduced AI-driven features show a lot of potential, but they could benefit from further development to enhance accuracy and contextual understanding - especially in candidate matching and automated recommendations. A bit more customization in how the AI adapts to different hiring styles or roles would make it even more powerful. Another opportunity lies in offering more cross-functional capabilities. At the moment, pipelines work well within individual departments, but having the option to integrate or share candidates and data across multiple pipelines would be a huge advantage for organizations with overlapping recruitment needs. This kind of flexibility would help teams collaborate more effectively and ensure talent isn’t siloed within one workflow.

It has been great! I feel like the pipeline really helps you see everything clearer. It is more organized, and overall, more user friendly than our original recruitment process.
Pros: Very organized and it helped my team step away from paper-use. It also helped my team stay on top of communication.
Cons: Training new team members. A few managers were used to a physical form, and it was a little difficult introducing this new type of recruitment.
Danielle Z. · Manager · Hospitality · October 2, 2025
We've used a lot this tool and overall is great if you have a standard process you follow. But I wouldn't recommend if you have to customize your recruitment process per client. I would recommend if you're hiring internally.
Pros: I like how the app looks. Easy to the eyes which i find really valuable. I think it takes around 2 days to get the hang of it, super positive aspect.
Cons: The automations, I don't like the way they're set up. They're not easy to customize to each role and sometimes they'll break and the setup takes time. It's not that easy to figure out.
Ailin M. · Operations Coordinator · Staffing and Recruiting · September 25, 2025
very good, i believe it's a very complete platform, very self explanatory and one thing i love is the workable academy as it help understan feautres that we may not know about
Pros: Automatization on helping reduce the hiring processes such as self scheduling - communication with candidates and IA feature
Cons: Nothing specific but the IA can be more accurate for example when we edit the Job requiements it should change on the IA matching feature as well
Mateo f. · Talent Acquisition Specialist · Staffing and Recruiting · September 16, 2025
I like their team support most. Related to app it's effective Sourcing and Job Posting. It has Boolean search feature within ATS to source active and passive candidates.
Pros: It is Ease of Use and User-Friendly Interface and AI and Automation. However, they also have excellent Support and Integrations team.
Cons: it does not have video AI interview features. It is going to be required features for recruiting in coming days.
Priti S. · HR · Information Technology and Services · September 8, 2025
Pros: I’m a huge fan — Workable is super easy to set up and use. It enables our small team to manage many hiring processes semi-automatically, which saves us a lot of time. Setting it up took just a couple of hours, and I can fully recommend it.
Cons: One limitation is that scheduling links can’t be changed afterwards. It would also be great to have a feature to rank or rate candidates (e.g., with stars) in the applied stage. That said, these are minor issues compared to the overall value.
Anna H. · COO · Computer Software · September 3, 2025
Pros: I've used Workable at multiple startups now and it's consistently been a great experience that makes hiring so much easier. The Slack notifications have been game-changing for our workflow, keeping everyone updated on application status and candidate progress without constant platform checking. The candidate pipeline management is smooth, it makes jotting down interview notes, advancing someone to the next stage, and sending automatic emails easy and straightforward. The automated interview scheduling feature alone has saved us hours each week by eliminating the typical email ping-pong of finding mutual availability. While the email templates are solid as-is, being able to customize them for specific roles or company voice is a nice touch.
Cons: The interface can be somewhat unintuitive with some hidden options and menus which you need to figure out. e.g. The scheduler is a great tool for providing calendar availability, but figuring out the interface took some learning.
Kieran K. · Marketing Director · Computer Software · August 28, 2025
Pros: The ease of use and ability to customize various aspects and automate the workflow process. Workable customer support is always very responsive and quick to solve any issues. The integrations available make it easy to house everything on the candidate profile.
Cons: The AI feature does need more work, especially the applicant profile rating as sometimes that is not accurate at all.
Ameera K. · Talent Acquisition Lead · Information Technology and Services · August 26, 2025
I use Workable every day in my role. We use it to screen candidates, email, and move them through our hiring pipeline.
Pros: It is easy to use and does it's job well. By far worth the monthly expense when I look at how much time I am saving.
Cons: Custom reporting could use some improvements. It is not bad, and I need to spend more time learning it, but it is not the easiest to use.
AJ C. · Senior HR Manager · Marketing and Advertising · August 26, 2025
it's a simple tool for the work that I do. I love that everything is easy to navigate. I still haven't used all the functions related to on boarding and HR but I do like the platform.
Pros: simple platform to navigate, i like the texting function. I like that managers can include their interview feedback
Cons: the candidate search function which only searches the platform, and the amount and other users could be better. I would like to see more intuitive AI search capabilites
Nilsa R. · Corporate Recruiter · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · August 26, 2025
Overall, my experience with Workable has been positive. It’s user-friendly, keeps candidate information organized, and makes collaboration across the hiring team straightforward. While a few features like integrations and reporting could be improved, it has significantly streamlined our recruiting process.
Pros: Workable is very intuitive and easy to learn, even for people who don’t use recruiting software every day. I like how it centralizes all candidate information, communication, and scheduling in one place. The collaboration features make it simple to keep the hiring team aligned, and posting to multiple job boards with a single click saves a lot of time.
Cons: Some of the integrations and reporting features feel limited, and bulk actions can be a little slow. Notifications and reminders could also be more customizable to avoid missing important updates.
nicole w. · senior designer · Arts and Crafts · August 25, 2025
Workable is a great tool that we use across the company to recruit, vet, and track all out candidates. I have not used many ATS systems, but of all the business operations systems we use throughout the company, Workable is one of the easiest and most used systems.
Pros: Workable is very user friendly with clean project management board-like layout. It is a great space to collaborate across our company with multiple users, and it has solid integrations to MS Outlook that make scheduling calls and interviews simple and streamlined,
Cons: The metrics to track things like time to hire and time to fill still need some work. While the reporting features are easy to use, the definitions and calculations are a little gray making it hard to lean into their quality across many jobs. The beta AI features also needs some additional development to increase accuracy.

Pros: Really easy to use. The tool is pretty intuitive. Even people outside HR can follow the process without getting lost.
Cons: No onboarding module. It’s very focused on recruitment. For onboarding, you need to rely on other tools.
Anonymous User · partner · Telecommunications · August 20, 2025
Workable helps save valuable time by letting you create and publish a single job posting that is automatically distributed across multiple platforms. Candidate CVs are neatly organized under each role, and the pipeline feature makes application management clear and efficient. The shared job dashboard ensures smooth communication and collaboration among team members. Ready-to-use job descriptions simplify the creation of new roles, while the AI-powered CV screening tool speeds up shortlisting by showing a match percentage between the job requirements and each candidate’s CV.
Pros: $90
Cons: It does not support Greek language when exporting a csv report. The AI tool for CVs screening is not always accurate, a second look is always needed.
Katerina K. · Head of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition · Construction · August 20, 2025
Pros: I’ve really enjoyed using Workable! The platform is very user-friendly and makes the hiring process so much smoother. I especially appreciate how easy it is to filter through candidates and quickly identify the ones that are the best fit for the role. It keeps everything organized in one place and saves a lot of time compared to managing resumes manually. Overall, it’s been a great tool for streamlining our recruiting process.
Cons: It is a little difficult to manage automated messages. We sometimes cannot locate where the message originated to turn it on or off.
Anonymous User · Executive Assistant · Computer Software · August 19, 2025
Overall, my experience with Workable has been positive. It’s easy to use, keeps our hiring process organized, and has helped improve efficiency across the team.
Pros: Workable is intuitive and easy to use, making it simple for both recruiters and hiring managers to get up to speed quickly. The one-click job posting and collaboration tools have streamlined our process and helped us reduce time-to-fill while improving the candidate experience.
Cons: Reporting customization options are limited, and onboarding features aren’t as robust as some other platforms. Even with these areas for improvement, Workable remains a reliable, user-friendly ATS that delivers strong results for day-to-day recruiting.
Crystal H. · Director, Talent · Construction · August 19, 2025
It's easy to move candidates though the process, schedule interviews and attract candidates. This has made it so much easier for our company of 100+ employees to find the right talent.
Pros: I love the customer support, easy implementation, AI tools, scheduling and easy communication tools with candidates and hiring managers.
Cons: The AI rating of candidates could be better. Currently it will rate a candidate but doesn't take into account everything in the job description.
Anonymous User · Recruiter · Health, Wellness and Fitness · August 19, 2025
I use Workable to effectively manage recruitment by tracking candidates and ensuring no one is forgotten, streamlining our hiring process. I switched from Greenhouse to Workable. We also considered a couple of other tools before deciding on Workable, although I don't remember their names. I use Workable for recruitment purposes, including tracking candidates and managing them through different stages. I find the requisitions and hiring plan features beneficial, and the reports are helpful despite some inaccuracies. Guided onboarding also made the setup process smoother.
Pros: I find Workable indispensable for our recruitment process. It enables efficient candidate tracking, ensuring no one is overlooked and helping manage recruitment stages seamlessly. I appreciate the requisitions and hiring plan features and find the reports helpful most of the time. Additionally, the guided onboarding made the transition much easier and customer service stands out as excellent support.
Cons: The initial setup was challenging due to the data transfer from Greenhouse to Workable, which involved thousands of candidates and different scorecards. This process was crucial and took several months.","The reports feature doesn't always work as needed and sometimes presents incorrect data.","The referral program doesn't fit my needs every time and seems inflexible to adapt to our specific requirements.
Tanja A. · HR Manager · Computer Software · August 19, 2025
Smooth vendor relations, core ATS capabilities are there and they are constantly improving by adding more features.
Pros: Ease of use, assessment capabilities, and support. They have some important integrations in place as well.
Cons: Not so performance-driven ATS. It would be beneficial if recruiters had some insight into candidate quality.
