Overall, the combination of ease of use and strong data visibility makes Boomi a reliable and efficient integration platform, especially when managing multiple systems and ensuring data accuracy across them. The new dashboard with analytics brings in better insight on data transfers.
Pros: Working with Boomi has been a great experience, particularly because of how easy it is to build integration processes. The low-code, drag-and-drop interface makes it very straightforward to design workflows, even for complex integrations. This significantly reduces development time and allows you to focus more on business logic rather than technical overhead. Another aspect I really value is the visibility it provides into data as it moves between systems. Boomi offers clear tracking of data packages, making it easy to monitor, troubleshoot, and audit integrations. You can quickly identify where an issue occurred, inspect payloads, and resolve problems efficiently, which is crucial in production environments.
Cons: One of the main drawbacks of working with Boomi is the cost structure, particularly the high cost associated with adding new connections. As integrations scale across multiple systems, the pricing can increase significantly, which may be a concern for growing organizations or projects with tighter budgets. Additionally, the support experience could be improved. While documentation is available, resolving more complex or urgent issues through support can sometimes be slower than expected, which can impact timelines in critical situations.

I had positive experiences with Boomi, appreciating its comprehensive integration capabilities, ease of use, and ability to streamline data integration and management processes
Pros: There are several features and aspects of Boomi that users often appreciate like User-Friendly Interface, Broad Connectivity, Real-Time Monitoring and Alerts etc.
Cons: Boomi is generally considered favourably, although there are some features, such as pricing structure and complexity for advanced configurations, that some users may find less appealing.

Boomi helps our companies around the world to achieve concrete integration of each of the old platforms or tools that manage all our processes, this in order to unite and centralize all the information and processes and to find them all from the same place without having to be navigating everything and wasting valuable time. With Boomi, all our tools are intertwined due to the large amount of codes it supports.
Pros: The tool offers excellent BPM flows that allow us to improve the way we run our operations inside and outside the company, achieving a constant improvement in all products and services. The API management is extremely simple and intuitive, clearly you must have slight previous knowledge to carry out each of the changes. The tool does not consume so many resources for a highly technical software. The tool can be recommended to any entity or organization that needs to start integrating and centralizing its different tools and achieve a new evolutionary step in terms of being an organization. Boomi provides the necessary tools and knowledge to be able to carry out the different tasks and improve our companies, through one of the most important integration systems we have used.
Cons: In some moments where we must generate scenarios that are slightly complex it is difficult to integrate the tool, which forces us to look for third party solutions to be able to carry it out without wasting time. Boomi's user interface is not as simple as expected. The performance graphs could offer a different way to see how things are happening. The price may be a bit high compared to other competitors.

Good integration platform with many features
Pros: The Boomi platform offers backend and front end APIs and allows customers to enable their teams to quickly integrate across apps
Cons: Nothing in particular as this goes well with any cloud

Boomi is a good middle-of-the-road solution. If you have an admin dedicated to it and have enterprise software that has an emphasis on good data and integration, it gets the job done.
Pros: Boomi supports pretty much every software platform you can think of and allows for more custom integrations than Zapier
Cons: You need to understand Boomi pretty well to make your dream integration come true. There are learnings resources out there, but they take time.

This tool has made it very easy to do ETL on a professional level. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an ETL tool.
Pros: Dell Boomi is a popular and solid software for ETL, and is what my company uses it for. We share files with our sister business, and with this tool, can program the complete flow of extracting, transforming, and loading. I love most the builder portion, which allows us to create a workflow, determining the complete process. It's very graphical and easy to use, once you know the basics.
Cons: One qualm I have, is that there's been a time over the last year, where the vendor has made an update to the software that broke a flow. This change wasn't communicated, so we couldn't prepare for it. We contacted them for support, and they helped us get it resolved.

Pros: One of the best cross application integration platforms we have come across. Feature rich, user friendly, drag and drop functionality.
Cons: Cost used to be low, but now is on the higher side We love everything else about this product

None at this time. I only used Boomi for a trial and after the trail we didn't purchase.
Pros: Boomi was a great softward. Boomi was some what easy to get started and use. If you need to link things/work together Boomi is the app for you. Boomie allow you to monitor everything you put into the clouds, even the ones are behind your firewall.
Cons: There were no cons for us. We did not keep Boomi because we didn't have a lot of files that would need to be integrated. So we though this was too much for us.

I have worked on multiple integration tools - SAP PI, Websphere MQ, Informatica Cloud, Mulesoft, SAP CPI and I have felt that Boomi was the easiest and most intuitive to work with. I was able to implement complex orchestration scenarios very quickly compared to tools like SAP PI.
Pros: Very easy to learn for a relatively experienced integration developer. Best in the industry User Interface for an iPaaS. Great set of features that covers most of the Integration patterns. Good API Management features. Good licensing model.
Cons: No possibility to export and save a process.

Dell Boomi has been a center for integrations for processes between several systems for our team.
Pros: Dell Boomi is one of the most feature-rich ETL tools on the market and works very well with Salesforce. It handles almost any problem you can throw at it with the right ideas.
Cons: Dell Boomi can be very complicated to get rolling with so you need to make sure you have someone available to consult with in the beginning.

Grate integration software for the price. Overall good experience and has many integrations.
Pros: Provides lots of connectors compare to other solutions available. Easy to learn for new comers. Able to customize the ETL process easily.
Cons: Bit hard to use without much technical knowledge. Documentation can be little confusing. Custom scripting and mapping is required for more advanced requirements.
Dilith V. · Associate Systems Engineer · Information Technology and Services · March 22, 2020
Overall, for the price, you get good ROI on your investments and it is a highly successful integration product. So I would recommend this.
Pros: Boomi provides lot of out of the box connectors, comparable to its more popular competitor Mule. However, it is much cheaper and highly performant than Mule.
Cons: The only thing, I wish Boomi has worked more on is the cloud deployment and central maintenance of hybrid deployments.

Integration with Oracle DB and clients database was done using Dell Boomi. Spreadsheet source was leveraged as client had an in house DB.
Pros: 1. Out of box connectors which can be used to connect to many sources like excel, Oracle DB etc. 2. Very easy to use with point and click type of UI. 3. Javascript based so easy for most coders to use.
Cons: May need some time to train and there is some learning curve. However, extensive training material is available for this online.

Pros: UI and customer support quick responses also the community
Cons: very thin. not enough complex functionality natively resulting in complex groovy builds which leads to slow run time if volume is large
Anonymous User · Consultant · Information Technology and Services · October 3, 2019
Pros: Boomi provided full function while still being easy to use and train others to use. We are a a multi-tenant Private Atom Cloud install so need our citizen developers to come up to speed quickly with the minimum amount of ramp up timre.
Cons: I wish Flow and MDH were more available to us.
