Pros: It made making our own application simple. We could build exactly what we wanted without the extra.

Cons: The hosting part was a bit clunky. We opted for remote hosting which helped, but it was still not ideal.

Pros: Filemaker is completely customizable, they incorporate all the latest technology and best practices. For the past 30 years it has been a stable platform which is consistently improving.

Cons: When the API returns the record id for a newly created record, it would be valuable to also return the uuid.

Pros: Ease of use, very intuitive and user-friendly and allows you to create a related database easily and quickly

Cons: Visual elements are not responsive with window size

Pros: Mit FileMaker kann man relativ schnell und simpl Layouts anpassen. Dadurch ist FileMaker sehr flexibel und kann den Arbeitsalltag dadurch sehr optimieren.

Cons: Man wird leider von FileMaker gezwungen immer auf der aktuellsten Version und auf dem aktuellensten MAC Betriebssystem zu bleiben. Deswegen müssen wir auf Windows ausweichen.

Pros: When you need something more than off-the-shelf software, FileMaker allows you to build a custom app quickly.

Cons: It can be slightly expensive for smaller businesses.

Pros: I like the search functionality. I can create custom searches and get all the information I want at my fingertips with a couple prompts.

Cons: The UI is very dated. It's clunky, it stalls, it's difficult to use. You need training to really grasp it; it's not the most user-friendly product. It's robust but clunky.

Cons: ２０年以上のユーザだが、年々機能が増強されて複雑になりすぎて、作業時間ロスとなることが多い。頭の回転が年々鈍いせいもあるかもしれないが、初級レベルと、プロレベルで分けて販売すべきかと。集計後のグラフ作成も行えるようにしてほしい。 また、最低５ライセンスは必要ないので、１ライセンスから購入できるようにしてほしい。年間契約ではなく、月額のサブスク契約を希望している。

Pros: Claris Filemaker is overall excellent for creating custom databases. It offers a user-friendly interface and a wide range of features that make it easy to design and manage databases. If you know how to use iTunes, you know how to use Filemaker. It's got power and simplicity.

Cons: What frustrates me about FileMaker - as a freelancer - is the lack of out-of-the-box integration with Google, CardDav and CalDav servers, and - unforgivably - iCloud (considering that Claris is owned by Apple.

Pros: This software is very easily manipulated to create databases to store data, create reports and worksheets and many other tasks. We use it daily for operations.

Cons: The newer versions of it seem to run slower. In fact, we reverted back to version 18 for our production environment because of slowness issues. This was on FAST machines with lots of RAM. Consider an older version.

Pros: File Maker is super easy to set up and super easy to become proficient in. It's super reliable to use a tool that's 30 years old, and still getting powerful additions regularly.

Cons: FileMaker is an oddball in the database field, and it can be hard to find best practices and tutorials for FileMaker.

Pros: It's okay. Nothing else to say, really.

Cons: They are harrassing. They quoted for a service two years ago that we paid for and since stopped using. Being international, they seem to have missed the payment two years ago. Their emails asking for payment are completely blank emails from a suspicious email address, with an attachment. No name, no account number, not even a signature panel. Obviously, I thought they were spam/viruses and so never opened them. So I only found out they were asking for the money when they called over a year after they first started asking for the money. I then engaged them, told them how odd their invoice emails were, provided payment info, went above and beyond to try and show them that I had paid. Eventually, they agreed and sent me an email saying the issue was resolved.They then sent those blank emails a couple more times and today started threatening to send the account to debt collectors.This is absurd. I don't owe them money and they admitted it!

Cons: ＵＩが全体的に古く各項目が見づらいです。共有の設定がしにくく、ユーザの設定などを容易にできるようにしてほしい。

Pros: Every new version of Claris FileMaker has improved its feature set as an easy to use relational database. The Scripting environment has become easier with type-along assistant and the ability to cut and paste code between calculation ans scripts in other databases. The ability to quickly deploy the software in a browser has made it an extremely versatile application.

Cons: There is no true runtime client engine for a networked solution. Separating the user interface from the data in the same file is not possible.

Pros: From a development standpoint, it couldn't be easier. Even users new to creating databases can be up and running very quickly.

Cons: Support can be very slow. While it's actually owned by Apple, the support does not live up to their normal standards.
