My overall experience with Constant Contact has been positive, particularly for its ease of use and consistency in managing email communications. It’s a dependable platform that allows you to quickly create, schedule, and distribute professional-looking emails, making it especially effective for newsletters, event promotion, and routine organizational updates. The interface is intuitive, which helps streamline workflow and reduces the learning curve for users who may not have extensive experience with email marketing tools.
Pros: What I liked most about Constant Contact is its simplicity and reliability for email marketing. The platform makes it easy to build, schedule, and send professional-looking emails without needing extensive technical knowledge. The drag-and-drop editor is straightforward, and the templates provide a strong starting point, which helps streamline the content creation process.
Cons: What I liked least about Constant Contact is that it can feel somewhat limited in terms of advanced customization and automation. While the platform is great for straightforward email campaigns, it doesn’t offer the same level of flexibility or sophistication you’d find in more robust marketing automation tools. Things like complex workflows, deeper personalization, or behavioral triggers can be harder to execute.

Cons: Even though the platform is easy to use, the cost can increase pretty quickly depending on the size of the contact list.

Constant Contact helped simplify email marketing and communication with customers by centralizing contact lists, campaign creation, scheduling, and reporting into one platform. It reduced the time needed to send professional campaigns and improved consistency in customer communication.
Pros: Constant Contact makes it very easy to create and send professional-looking email campaigns without needing a lot of technical experience. The drag-and-drop editor is simple to use, contact management is straightforward, and scheduling campaigns is quick. It’s been especially useful for newsletters, announcements, and marketing emails where reliability and ease of use matter most.
Cons: Some of the automation and advanced segmentation features are not as deep as some higher-end marketing platforms. Pricing can also increase as contact lists grow, but overall the platform is stable and easy to manage.

Overall, my experience with Constant Contact has been very positive. It’s a dependable and accessible solution for email marketing that helps streamline communication and grow audience engagement with minimal effort.
Pros: What I liked most about Constant Contact is how easy it is to create and manage email campaigns. The platform offers intuitive tools, helpful templates, and reliable delivery, making it simple to stay connected with audiences and track engagement.
Cons: One area for improvement is that some advanced features and customizations are a bit limited compared to more complex platforms. However, its simplicity and ease of use make it a great choice for users who value a straightforward experience.

Overall, my experience is positive. While I'd like to be more creative with the layout and design, the platform's functionality, detailed data collection, and the overall package are good value. Whenever I've had an issue, the CC Customer Service Team has always been quick to respond and help me resolve the issue.
Pros: The Constant Contact platform is reliable, easy to use, and a good value for the money. The data collection, analysis and automations are solid winners that are only outshined by their tremendous customer support.
Cons: The layout editor is pretty inflexible, or at least not a "friendly" user experience. While they have a lot of templates, there are definitely limitations on the creativity end. You can't resize images within blocks, for example, and when you create a new block yourself, you can't copy and paste them into a new template or save them as a content block for reuse.

It was very mixed. It was generally fine, but it was not the cleanest system to use. If you're looking for an affordable option, but do not require a lot of branding or robust marketing needs, this should be fine for smaller businesses.
Pros: It's affordable and fairly easy to use in building email campaigns and managing assets. Scheduling emails was also a breeze.
Cons: Emails look very clunky and do not appear as clean or as responsive as they should. I had many instances where I'd build an email, test it, everything looked great, but once deployed, it would have odd errors in the template, e.g. broken images that weren't inserted or placed there to begin with.

Pros: Constant Contact is easy to learn and makes it simple to create, manage, and reuse email campaigns. It works well for weekly communication and does not require a lot of technical experience.
Cons: The design templates could offer more flexibility and variety. More layout and customization options would make the emails feel more personalized.

Overall we did use Constant Contact for several years, but eventually changed to another system that was less expensive and easier to use.
Pros: We used Constant Contact to send out mass emails to our various customer groups. A Pro of using Constant Contact was the ability to send prepared emails to large groups of people at one time.
Cons: The cons of using Constant Contact included difficulty in creating the emails - the system was not easy to work with. The cost was more expensive than other options as well.

I have never had a problem with it. It is a very easy application to use if you're trying to get information from one place to the other
Pros: Its very easy to use and\nIs very convenient when you need to get information to and from a person.I enjoy this very much
Cons: Its a little costly, it is a little expensive, but I guess for what it does. It's worth it. I just wouldnt spend as much as my company pays

It is ideal for business owners who want an application that you can use from desktop or mobile with ease. Creating campaigns that hit different demographics of your audience is easier with Constant Contact, plus the features present allow replicability and efficiency.
Pros: reliable email deliverability, the ability to monitor how my emails are performing, plus marketing options for social media and text/SMS which feels very fresh and modern
Cons: The AI integration makes things feel a little bit messy and convoluted, no free plan so purchase when you are ready to get serious about your email marketing

Overall, my experience with Constant Contact was positive. The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it well‑suited for creating and sending email campaigns efficiently. It offers reliable performance and helpful reporting tools, though it can feel somewhat limited in customization and advanced automation as needs grow. Overall, it’s a solid option for straightforward email marketing, particularly for small organizations or users who prioritize ease of use.
Pros: What I liked most about Constant Contact was its user‑friendly interface and straightforward campaign setup. It made it easy to create, manage, and track email campaigns without a steep learning curve, and the reporting tools were clear and practical for monitoring engagement.
Cons: What I liked least was the limited flexibility compared to other email marketing platforms. Some customization options—particularly for layouts, automation, and segmentation—felt restrictive as needs became more advanced.

I have had a positive experience with Constant Contact overall. It is a reliable and user-friendly platform that is well-suited for consistent email communication and basic marketing needs. Although it may lack some advanced features found in more complex systems, it is an excellent choice for organizations looking for a straightforward and effective solution without a steep learning curve.
Pros: Constant Contact is user-friendly, especially for designing and sending email campaigns. Its drag-and-drop editor allows users to craft professional emails without technical expertise. It’s ideal for managing contact lists, segmenting audiences, and maintaining communication consistency. I appreciate that it integrates seamlessly with our DonorPerfect CRM! Additionally, the platform provides reliable templates and helpful guidance for users without marketing experience, like me!
Cons: The platform offers fewer advanced customization and automation options than other email marketing tools. The product is a bit pricey, especially as contact lists grow, and while reporting is helpful, it's not as detailed or customizable as other platforms.

I just retried and won't be using it. I'm rather relieved. Another group I'm in the president just started with it, I don't know that we'll afford it.
Pros: There are more features. Laying out newsletters is easier. It tracks subscribers in a more useful way.
Cons: It's even more expensive. Updating contact list is time consuming. Wish the connections to social media were consistent, not having to reconnect
Anonymous User · Exec Dir · Sports · April 4, 2026
Pros: Easy contacts and mailing list management, and enables tracking opens and interactions with minimal lag times.
Cons: Sometimes there are issues with setting layout - moving, editing or deleting the elements can be clumsy.

Overall, Constant Contact is a reliable platform for us due to the straightforward way to manage email marketing. It has been very ease of use and we get to do campaigns quickly. However, as your business grows, you may start to feel the limitations in both features and pricing. It’s a great starting tool—but one that requires careful evaluation if you plan to scale your marketing efforts.
Pros: What I like the most about Constant Contact is how easy it is to use. It makes it very simple to create and launch email campaigns without much technical knowledge.
Cons: What I don’t like is that the platform becomes expensive as your contact list grows. In the beginning, pricing is ok but it can increase quickly and can become unaffordable for small businesses.

Enjoy Constant Contact and the features it currently possesses. With a few tweaks, it will be a completely awesome integretion to pay for.
Pros: The ease of connecting our website footer links with constant contacts import into specific lists. Like the ability for branding and templates, makes keeping everything cohesive easy. The tracking of engagement is also very useful.
Cons: Nothing I strongly dislike but the Canva intergretion has some bugs that could be awesome once fixed. Currently when importing a design from Canva it changes the size from the original intoa fixed square requiring you to completely redo it to fit, making the feature useless.

Constant Contact has been a game changer for my business. It's ideal for beginners who want a simple, straightforward platform with reliable support, though growing businesses may find the costs add up quickly as their contact list expands .
Pros: Contact is wonderful when it comes to providing templates that can be used for your emails. It now has a large library of templates to choose from. One key addition is the AI generator that drafts emails and campaigns just from simple prompts.
Cons: Some key features are now locked behind the Premium tier starting at $80/month .which is some how frustrating for old users. But you learn to accept it with time.

Overall, my experience with Constant Contact has been very positive. It’s a solid platform for email marketing, especially for beginners or small businesses looking for an easy way to connect with their audience.
Pros: I liked how straightforward it is to create and send professional-looking emails. The templates are clean and customizable, and the contact management tools make it easy to organize and target specific audiences.
Cons: Some of the more advanced features can feel a bit limited unless you upgrade to higher-tier plans. It would be nice to have more flexibility in the basic version.
Hilary C. · Owner · Marketing and Advertising · March 26, 2026
I give it 5 stars for the overall experience. I rarely have any issues when I use it to add contacts or send emails.
Pros: I really enjoy how user-friendly it is and that multiple people on my team can add and edit emails without a lot of training. I also enjoy that it integrates with Donor Perfect
Cons: Sometimes adding multimedia can be a little burdensome with the formatting. For example, I'll add an image, but not be able to resize or move it where I want.
Jason P. · Development Director · Environmental Services · March 25, 2026
It was good once i got comfortable using it to create my marketing materials like open house fliers.
Pros: It can send out newsletters, marketing materials, and emails to your contacts. It has a built in crm which allows you to add new clients to your database
Cons: It has an outdated template appearance which is not very customizable. It lists only a few templates to choose from.
Holly B. · Real estate agent · Real Estate · March 24, 2026
My clients loved the personal touch that was able to add through direct email and they came to expect it!
Pros: Using constant contact for email marketing and contact with my 2500 to 3000 client base was highly effective.
Cons: I loved the ease of creating monthly promotions for my bonafide client list. Also, the software integrated well with other platforms on social media.
Candice C. · Spa Director · Cosmetics · March 24, 2026
Constant Contact was a great asset for the church marketing platform we needed to send emails and communicate with the staff and congregation.
Pros: Constant Contact is easy to use, highly functional, able to schedule emails, and able to use for marketing.
Cons: Constant Contact has an outdated style of formatting. It'd be great to see more trendy design and style coming through!
Amber M. · Owner · Graphic Design · March 23, 2026
Due to the recent snafus with registration and some of our communications, I removed a star for now.
Pros: Keeping in touch with stakeholders is a must and Constant Contact facilitates that. Easy to use is always a plus when your plate is full.
Cons: We recently used it to register class participants. Not sure what happened, but it got confusing. Some registrants got confirmations and others didn't. Same for us. We also experienced a glitch with our contact list that caused an interruption to our account status. Are working through it.
Cynthia C. · Dir, Communications and Engagement · Construction · March 20, 2026
Currently, I am very satisfied with it, I do find it helpful and easy to manage. There isn't much I would change
Pros: I like that it stores all of our contacts and they are easier to search, find, find, email and we know they receved it
Cons: i don't like the fact that you can duplicate the contacts and it doesn't pick on the fact that there is more than one contact
Aneta V. · Law Clerk · Legal Services · March 19, 2026
Pros: Constant Contact has been, well, constant/consistent in delivering messaging we can trust and count on.
Cons: Sometimes we have troubles with bounce lists and updating clean user lists, but that's not necessarily the product's fault.
