Klaviyo is the most powerful email marketing automation tool we've used for our store. It gives us deep insights into customer behavior and allows us to build complex, high-converting automated flows that consistently generate sales. Despite the premium price, the ROI makes it completely worth it.
Pros: The segmentation capabilities and automated flows are unmatched in the e-commerce space. Klaviyo deep data integration allows us to track exact customer behavior and trigger precise email campaigns based on purchase history, which heavily drives our repeat sales and revenue.
Cons: The pricing structure scales up quite aggressively as your subscriber list grows, which can be tough for growing brands. Also, the advanced design tools and custom HTML template builders have a bit of a steep learning curve for beginners.

Overall, it has been very positive. Great platform, good support, amazing capabilities for ecommerce brands. But, if margins are tight and you don't capitalize on email marketing you probably won't be able to afford it
Pros: Klaviyo is incredibly powerful. You can make an infinite number of email flows, campaigns, text campaigns, form, etc. It can be super granular, you can connect it to Facebook for creating custom audiences, it tracks everything from customer purchase frequency to when they are active on site, etc. I sent out weekly campaigns and it does a great job and allowing me to format them the exact way I want it.

Cons: Their pricing is honestly insane. I got grandfathered in so I pay a super discounted rate but if I were a new customer looking for an email marketing platform I probably wouldn't go with Klaviyo simply because once you start to scale the cost is ridiculous.

We use klaviyo for email and sms now instead of using multiple platforms to keep up with which is helpful
Pros: Now that they added canva as a module that has been very helpful for easily creating emails and ads and everything in one place
Cons: I don’t like their customized templates. I find them very hard to use and edit. I wish reporting was also more advanced like mailchimp or others for profile users

Overall, my experience with Klaviyo has been very positive. I’ve been using the platform for around 8–10 years, so I have a strong understanding of how it works and what it can do. As an agency, the majority of our clients use Klaviyo, so I’ve had extensive hands-on experience with it across a wide range of ecommerce brands and use cases.
Pros: What I liked most about Klaviyo is that once you get comfortable with the platform, it really stands out as one of the best email tools for ecommerce. It offers strong automation, detailed segmentation, and solid reporting, which makes it very effective for growing and managing email marketing.
Cons: The biggest downside is the cost. It can be expensive, especially as your subscriber list grows and you scale your email program.

It's the industry standard for a reason, but it's not frictionless. We use it daily for email and SMS across segmented lists, triggered sends, and campaign reporting. The core functionality works. The UX and support don't match what you're paying at scale. Worth it, but there's room to improve on the operator experience side.
Pros: Segmentation is genuinely powerful once you learn it. Having email and SMS in one platform makes targeting and list management way cleaner than splitting tools. Shopify integration is solid, flows trigger reliably, and the data is there if you know where to look.
Cons: Reporting is clunky and the UI buries things that should be front and center. Building anything beyond a basic flow takes way too many clicks.

Pros: While expensive, there's really no other email marketing software like it. The built-in segmentation and integration with Shopify make it hard to compete with.
Cons: Expensive! And it seems like it just keeps going up. They've continued to add features to try and justify the costs, but it gets harder to keep up as a small business. You need to be making significant revenue from email in order to outweigh the expense.

Pros: The simplicity of use for Klaviyo and the amount of features is what makes it so great! Once you have used it, you probably won’t want to use a competitor.
Cons: It took a bit of time to setup. There are a lot of aspects you must go through first. It’s not a “out of the box” product. But still, worth the while.

Pros: Klaviyo has been a great program in our marketing stack. I love the ease of use and how simple it was to integrate with my Shopify website and other tech I'm using to manage my shop. I also really like how the widgets look on the site.
Cons: The only thing I wish Klaviyo would improve on is their reviews integration with TikTok Shop. I would love to be able to pass reviews from TikTok Shop to my website, or from my website to TikTok Shop. I see that this is functionality that others reviews platforms have with TikTok Shop.

Overall I’ve been very happy with Klaviyo which is why I’ve continued to use them for many years now. As an online retailer, it’s a perfect match.
Pros: I love the ease of managing my email and sms marketing with Klaviyo. I’ve used their software for over 6 years and I love that they are always adding new features and making flows even more powerful. I love the ease of connecting Klaviyo to my Shopify store and other apps.
Cons: I wish that email marketing was cheaper, but I feel Klaviyo is pretty competitive. I also wish that sms was included for the price of email instead of an add-on.

It does a great job tracking and providing data on open clicks delivering etc. Highly recomd the campaign email option.
Pros: Allows for tracking on emails and website trafffic. We like how the data graphs. Easy flows and campaigning.
Cons: No phone support...live chat support is very confusing and they refer to self help a lot. You have to have a lot of patience.

Pros: Klaviyo is just such a stellar product, even as a small business owner. It was incredibly easy to set up and get campaigns going.
Cons: Pricing is a bit expensive but it's totally worth it in the end as there's just so much capability to use it & grow my business through the Shopify integration.

When it comes to hospitality, the importance of relationship with former guests is instrumental towards direct bookings. I have been using this tool to send monthly newsletters and holiday gifts. It renders our brand as high-end and refined in spite of the fact that I frequently believe we are spending money on the high-tech retail functions which we simply do not use.
Pros: The customization choices are amazing that enable us to design graphically appealing emails that present our hotel facilities beautifully without hiring a coder.
Cons: The reporting dashboard is highly oriented towards e-commerce revenue and therefore it is hard to follow the engagement-based metrics that are of greater interest to hospitality such as open rates on informational emails.

Appearance is everything in the visa world. I use this service to distribute monthly immigration newsletters. It makes us look and feel established and credible it helps us differentiate ourselves from smaller agencies but I essentially pay for shopping features that I never use.
Pros: The drag and drop editor lets me create very professional looking official policy updates without a graphic designer.
Cons: The reporting dashboard is no other than e-commerce sales revenue, which is not applicable for consulting business. Help desk usually provide generic advice which is best for Retailers.

Pros: Easy ability to see how much money generated for each email sent, good visibility of who opened emails and who was active on the site and how long for following an email, and subscribers
Cons: I found the email design element fairly tricky to use, things didn't always line up and didn't feel there was a lot of editing tools inside Klaviyo itself, so it was easier to create in something like Canva and transfer over.

Klaviyo remains the easiest way for marketers to easily segment, personalize, and create behavior based automations. It is an industry standard that plays nicely with other marketing software, and is an essential to any Shopify user. Integrations outside of the Shopify world can however be much more implementation intensive.
Pros: Klaviyo continues to be the industry leader in helping e-commerce store operators, easily segment, personalize, and set up automations that drive revenue, and build owned audiences.
Cons: I don't like how you have to pay more for the advanced analytics module. These are features that should be baked into the core product.

A very positive experience. The tools are intuitive, performance is reliable, and support is always prompt and genuinely helpful.
Pros: Easy to use, intuitive platform. Makes sending SMS + Emails a breeze, and flows are easy to build, and it feels like the world is your oyster really.
Cons: The reporting across linked accounts could be better. There's a global portfolio but it only gives very high level results, would be great if you could link abandon carts and compare them easily. I also wish I could access more strategic advice.

Aside from the profile-based pricing, the platform has been a major upgrade in capability and efficiency for our organization.
Pros: Klaviyo offers incredibly strong personalization and segmentation capabilities. I can create highly targeted, agent-specific emails with dynamic content and custom properties, without running into limitations. The flow builder is powerful, flexible, and ideal for organizations that rely on data-driven automation. Integrations and data syncing work smoothly, which allows us to tailor communication to each traveller or agent effortlessly.
Cons: The main downside is the pricing model based on total profiles, even if you’re not actively emailing those contacts. This makes list management more expensive for organizations with large inactive segments. There’s also a small learning curve due to the wide feature set, but beyond that, the platform performs extremely well.

was a good product when our company didn't have an app but when we did and wanted smarter campaigns that send push notifications to people that have the app and emails that didn't - they don't have that solution
Pros: Good email marketing platform. The tool is easy to use, straight forward and the customer service is good.
Cons: Not a good fit for brands that have an app as their campaigns can't combine push and emails together

I have been using Klaviyo for many years now and throughout the whole time it has been a great partner we can rely on to work. It is the name brand in the email/sms marketing space for a reason.
Pros: I love how robust the tool is. Its segmentation, A/B testing, email sending, and integrations seem very in-depth, and it all works very well.
Cons: I don't like the pricing structure for a lot of it. Last time I checked it was based on the number of subscribers we have and how many messages we can send. And all of the otehr tools they are coming out with are all a bit expensive for what they do.

Pros: Klaviyo makes it easy to send mass emails, from marketing to urgent order updates or alerts, they make it easy
Cons: I think in an ideal world your CRM would have some sort of built-in functionality for this sort of thing but it doesn't seem like the industry is there yet

Overall, I’ve found Klaviyo really powerful for creating personalised, data-driven campaigns and our automations have increased yoy. It can feel a bit complex at times and the cost does go up as you grow.
Pros: I think Klaviyo is great because it makes it really easy to create personalised campaigns. The automation has helped our numbers grow by double and detailed insights has been great for analytics.
Cons: Klaviyo has become quite expensive as our list has grown, it was quite tricky to learn it straight away, compared to simpler email tools.
