Simple and effective. Easy to use. As great potential as a backbone tool in a dynamic organization. Careful maintenance of U/X can make it a sound choice for mid-sized organizations.
Pros: Ease of use, and learning curve are the clear motives. I like the nudge approach (like when inserting time entries)
Cons: Some defaults like assuming I want to report or do something for current day. It makes sense but alternative dates (day before, week before,...) should be easier to jump to.

I enjoy using Productive, especially trying to build out processes that use it to its full potential. We have the opportunity to make it our single source of truth, and I believe it has the capability to do that. I can't wait to see what new developments also come.
Pros: I really like the ease of use, it is very intuitive, making it a great product to use. I love all of the updates and developments, the use of AI and automations across the tool is making task management and in general project management so much easier and more efficient.
Cons: I did find the reporting functionality slightly clunky, but it is improving and the AI report feature is really helping with that. For us the CRM and Deals functionality was also not quite enough for us to use it, but a lot of improvements have been made and we are currently in the process of moving our spreadsheets over to Productive for this.

Productive is a excellent solutions combining CRM, task management, deal flow mgmt, timesheet and many more.
Pros: Productive provides many different solutions that most Service Companies need, in one place, allowing multiple team members from different departments to have everything under control.
Cons: It can be a bit complex and time-consuming to get familiar with. However, once you’ve mastered its potential, it’s an investment you’ll never regret.

My overall experience with Productive has been fantastic. The app is user-friendly and has genuinely improved how I manage my time and habits.
Pros: The best thing about productive is that it replaces multiple apps (like Time Doctor, Jira, and spreadsheets) with one platform.
Cons: Due to its so many functions, it takes time for teams to fully onboard and get set up. The cost is high but if it works as it's supposed to it will be well worth it!

Productive is a solid project management tool that balances usability with functionality. It’s great for teams looking to manage projects, tasks, and collaboration in one place.
Pros: Good templates and views that speed up project setup and clean and intuitive user interface that makes navigation easy.
Cons: Reporting and analytics could be more customisable and occasional minor delays when switching between large projects.

Overall, Productive has been a reliable and powerful tool for managing projects, budgets, and time tracking. It allows us to track resources, costs, and progress in one place, giving us full control over our projects and saving significant time compared to using separate tools. With API integrations, we can seamlessly connect data from our HR system and deliver detailed timesheets to clients, further improving efficiency and transparency. Even though we don’t use every feature, the core functions we rely on work smoothly and provide us with confidence in our project and budget management.
Pros: - Very well-structured project and budget management. - Powerful time tracking that helps us monitor work and productivity. - Full control and visibility over project progress from start to finish. - API integrations allow us to import data from our HR application and provide detailed timesheets for clients. - Intuitive interface that makes it easy for the team to adopt. - Reporting features that keep everything transparent.
Cons: - Some features (like invoicing) are not relevant for us, since we use our existing CRM system. - Certain security features are only available in the Ultimate plan, but we cannot fully benefit from the entire scope of that edition as we primarily use Productive for project tracking.

Really, really like it. Productive has helped our organization develop our project management a lot. Am very please with the support and overall updates regarding the product. Feels like you listens to what we need.
Pros: We work in a lot of different teams and customers. Productive has made the collaboration SO much easier. Easy for customers to understand and for my teams to manage. Project collaboration is great!
Cons: Resourcing can be a bit off, some buggs. Would also love if there was an easier connection with the budget so we don't have to update on two places.

We have already tried 5 services such as yours during our existence (harvest, JIRA etc.) and I have to say that Productive is really IT - the master product for everything what you need to run agency
Pros: Customer support overall - your chatbot is exquisite and your team aswell, frequent development of new modules and features, !!!POLARIS!!!, pulse feature and [sensitive content hidden]
Cons: DOCs, limited nesting of tasks (subtask cannot have another subtask), missing template center for reports, few specific things for our country in invoicing (double tax for both currencies etc)

Productive's customization allows us to streamline all of our agency's intricate operations. Even in the case of bugs or complaints, they have the best teams who are always willing to work with you on a resolution and they genuinely take all feedback to heart. I've never felt so heard by a customer support team. They don't just listen, they act!
Pros: The incredible depth of customization across all elements of Productive. We are able to add custom fields to our user records, our projects, tasks, reporting, you name it! This allows us to handle edge cases within our agency with ease and takes a huge weight off of our operational team's shoulders. The custom permissions options allow us to fine-tune the roles of our teammates who wear multiple hats!
Cons: Occasional medium to high impact bugs - but they're usually fixed very quickly after being reported.
Magnolia W. · Operations Manager · Internet · June 11, 2025
Amazing, love the product and especially the productive team give you as a customer. It really is a case study on how you should be supporting your customers.
Pros: It has completely changed (in a good way) how we operate as an agency. Productive allows you to view all your key agency data in one place.
Cons: To be honest, nothing really, any feature that we feel is missing is usually already in the roadmap.
Caine S. · CEO · Marketing and Advertising · May 18, 2025
Productive is the centre of the day-to-day organisation of our business and gives great clarity and structure on project progress ad budgeting and whether projects are running on time or over budget.
Pros: Very clear and on the whole easy to use.
Cons: Time tracking can be a bit fiddly and could be more streamlined.
Andrew M. · Content Manager · Marketing and Advertising · February 27, 2025
It's very useful at our company, we're happy to use it and keeps us organised.
Pros: Easy to keep track of daily tasks, managing internal resources for projects, holidays.
Cons: The fact that I can't copy the day to day tasks, I have to duplicate a full day. There's certain tasks per day like Admin Work, Slack and Email checks etc. that I would want to add each day to my productive budgets, but you can only duplicate a full day, not just a certain task. By task I mean the bullets under the project itself.
Soraya M. · Partnership Manager · Information Technology and Services · February 14, 2025
Pros: I've found Productive to be an intuitive project management platform that significantly enhances the agencies productivity, streamlines our workflows, and it enables us to be integrated across all our specialisms. Enhanced settings for time tracking and financial management, and extensive reporting! The support team is FANTASTIC too.
Cons: Productive is constantly releasing new features, so this will most likely be resolved. However, you current can not report on Net Revenue.
Nicole G. · Head of Studio · Marketing and Advertising · February 14, 2025
I was thrown into it without any training, and I worked it out quite easilly and I am not tech-savvy.
Pros: Total end to end solution. Only took a few plays to find the basic functionality, and then a few months to be totally proficient.
Cons: The line that delineates the current day does not update and needs to be refreshed.
Katie M. · Creative Services Manager · Marketing and Advertising · February 7, 2025
It's an essential tool and an all-in-one platform that is crucial for cross-collaborative work of our teams. We rely heavily on the information that we enter and use via Productive
Pros: Productive features such as time tracking, time logs, scheduling and planning are crucial for optimized work of a IT development agency.
Cons: Analytics, Project planning, Sales board and 3rd party Integrations could be improved but those are minor things compared the value that Productive brings
Samir M. · Project Manager · Computer Software · February 3, 2025
I've used a fair few platforms in my career and Productive stands above them all. I will recommend it to any businesses that I will go on to work for in the future.
Pros: The seamless cross functionality in Productive, from budgets to resourcing, makes it of the top platforms I've used so far in my career.
Cons: I would like more customisation in the resourcing view. For example, I would like to be able to reorder the resources on the left panel instead of the alphabetical order that is locked there now.
Toby O. · Resource Manager · Marketing and Advertising · February 1, 2025
Pros: Productive is a tool that brings together an efficient task management system, resource allocation, time tracking, leave request management, budgeting, and CRM under one roof. By integrating all these tools, it provides excellent reporting capabilities and real-time insights into project and company performance.
Cons: It is incredibly modular and rich in data, but for this reason, it can be a bit intricate and not very user-friendly at first. However, with time and some practice, this initial learning curve can be overcome.
Cinzia V. · Resource Manager · Marketing and Advertising · January 30, 2025
My overall experience with Productive has been fantastic. The app is user-friendly, keeps me motivated, and has genuinely improved how I manage my time and habits. It’s a great tool for staying organized and building consistency in daily routines. Highly recommended!
Pros: What I liked the most about Productive is how easy it is to use and how it helps me stay consistent with my goals. The reminders are subtle but effective, and the progress tracking is super motivating. It’s great to see how small daily habits add up over time!
Cons: What I liked least about Productive is that some features are locked behind a subscription. While the free version is great, it would be nice to have access to a few more advanced tools without upgrading.
Diego Michel S. · Software enggine · Construction · January 28, 2025
we use it for 3 years now and we are very happy with it we compared 12 different tools and are happy with productive support is very responsive, and also helpfull in setting up specific cases
Pros: flexibility to setup easy to use good reporting good support
Cons: UI can be inconsistante, but they are improving
Pieter L. · founder · Design · January 27, 2025
Great tool to manage agency projects, time sheets, finances. Easy to navigate and easy as well as super fast to get someone to help if having difficulties finding anything.
Pros: Very efficient and user friendly tool that caters a broad aspect of agencies' needs: project management, time logs, budgeting, reporting, etc. Amazing customer service (kudos to [sensitive content hidden])!
Cons: It would be great if it was not as expensive, but it's worth it.
Sonja V. · Chief Clients Officer · Marketing and Advertising · November 27, 2024
Great, Project administration has gone to a higher level thanks to productive
Pros: Very friendly interface. Loads of reports possibility's quick with update's and support
Cons: forcing update's without informing. This is now taken care of.
Thomas M. · Finance · Internet · November 22, 2024
We've used several tools for our agency and never really found what we were looking for. It's a big commitment for an agency like us to switch from one tool to another. This doubt is now something of the past.
Pros: The balance between flexibility and clarity is so much on point in Productive. We've used a lot of tools before that claim to be flexible but where we eventually hit a major roadblock for our business. On the other hand, we have used more complex tools too but those lack clarity very often. For us, Productive is perfectly on the crossroad of these two very important aspects.
Cons: Sometimes, we think about a feature that would be nice to have and isn't there yet. But almost always, we find it back in the roadmap. A roadmap that is transparent and doesn't overpromise, which we like!
Sam G. · Managing partner · Design · November 18, 2024
Like mentioned earlier I really like the general feel of the app. It feels stable, and polished with every detail.
Pros: It feels stable and polished. Jira integration works very well compared to Clockify for example.
Cons: The UI might be simpler. The way how I use it doesn't require all the bells and whistles. What I'm essentially doing is logging the time for given tasks within projects.
Marcin K. · Staff Engineer · Computer Software · October 24, 2024
I really like Productive and would be happy if we continue using it.
Pros: I like how Productive has a lot of features and is still pretty simple to use. The logic behind everything works great almost always, and for me it became a tool that I use daily without much thought. I see great value in that. I also appreciate the documentation and the whole team behind.
Cons: Tasks are maybe still a bit sloppy, but maybe it's just because of the way we use it in the company. I'm not really sure.
Franka J. · Project Manager · Information Technology and Services · February 15, 2024
Pros: Productive includes all the features we wanted and nothing we didn't. We used ClickUp for some time, but found it was hard to use and customise to our needs. Productive gives us the tools we need to keep projects on track and assigned to the right people and gives us business metrics that keep us aligned and on-point. It's been a game-changer for us, and we can only see it getting better.
Cons: Productive is expensive, especially as you add more users. Other products are cheaper, but they aren't tailored to what we need, so they end up costing in other ways.
