We have had a very smooth overall experience with Better Proposals. The great thing about it is that the longer we use it, the faster it gets as every previous proposal can be used as a potential starting point for new ones. It also makes it very simple to track open, draft, won, and lost proposals.
Pros: Better proposals keeps our proposal writing process streamlined, impresses our potential clients with the professional look and feel of our proposals, and saves us time by allowing us to add content to a library that we can reuse as a starting point on future proposals we write.
Cons: Sometimes the interface can be a little bit clunky with fonts and spacing, but this is minor and is always caught in our proofreading process.

Cons: It could have more option to filter proposals on the admin proposals list. It could have a more flexible way to allow acceptance from clients. For example one button on top "Accept Proposal" dat links to the accept block

Pros: Easy to create templates. Also when you send a proposal you can see what sections clients read and work out if there are any sticking points with your proposals.
Cons: No cons at the moment. We are really happy with it.

We didn't end up using it much, but the Support was Fantastic!!! Very helpful and amenable.
Pros: The fantastic support team, and that it provides potential clients with an online experience vs a "document"
Cons: How limited the layout options were; we could pull off some of the deeper customizations we wanted to in order to match our current website and branding.

I love the platform. I enjoy the creative options for graphic design, the utility, and the attention to detail like facilitating brand colors, logos, and corporate continuity. The customer service reps are usually very helpful and accommodating, and the price point is just right.
Pros: I LOVE Better Proposals because the platform gives me an advantage over my competitors. It provides a unique digital approach with a polished (aesthetic) without losing utility. The platform allows me to leverage graphic design, ease of use (point & click), and sales strategy (pitch & content).
Cons: It's not very easy to pull in existing presentations. While I believe there's a way to pull in a PDF or Word Doc and edit it as a Better Proposal Doc, I haven't figured out how to do that effectively. So I have to reproduce some of my existing presentations, pretty much, from scratch.

The support is 11/10 they are always there to help, I think I know all of them by name, it's not some random person. I have recently moved most of my customer offerings over to BP as it enhances my brand.
Pros: It really makes my proposals and documents look so professional. It's clean, modern and is perfect for it's purpose. User friendly. Notifications on actions from customers are just so good.
Cons: I've worked around most of the things that BP can do better in. But can do with some more capabilities.

Pros: It makes your branding look polished, professional, and leaves a good impression. It's easy to use because it's digital and allows you to track the reader's movements which is helpful.
Cons: Formatting and aesthetics can sometimes be very cumbersome.

Very good. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you grasp it you'll fly.
Pros: It is very flexible, and there is a lot of good video tutorials if you want to master your proposals. Another thing is that it is not only for proposals, but you can send contracts, information and much more. It looks very professional and the customer support is the fastest I´ve ever experienced.
Cons: To be honest I don´t have many cons with Better Proposals. It might not be for every business, but for me it is pretty much spot on.

I loved using Better Proposals. It integrated well within our business. It allowed us to bid for work on a professional level.
Pros: Easy to use, allowed us to make sure that we could customise our proposals to each client and in a short time. A very professional system.

Pros: I like how straighforward it is. You make the template and then you can just send out a complete and impressive contract/agreement/proposal in minutes. We used to do these by modifying a word doc and this is just so much faster, easier, and more professional.
Cons: Nothing. It's all good and we use it all the time.

Put it this way, I very rarely go out of my way to go and leave reviews. But on this occasion I sought it out because it was deserved. The thing that has stood out the most for me with BP has been the customer service. You get through to an actual person within a couple of minutes, who always have the correct answer, no matter how big or small. It royally does my head in that most SAAS products and any service providers for that matter are transitioning to auto bots and endless questions to try and determine your answer. Whereas BP is literally an actual person, within minutes. Refreshing. Last year two of BP's senior team had many calls with customers to gather feedback. I raised a number of points about minor tweaks that could be looked at and they were completely open to these. It actually feels like they change the platform based on what their customers want.
Pros: In previous roles, proposals have been crudely formatted word documents or presentation pitch decks. It took a little while to get used to the system, but once you have the gist of how it works, it's incredibly easy to use. We consistently receive great feedback from prospects about the proposals. It's incredibly easy to use internally and doesn't feel 'cluttered'.
Cons: It does take a little while to get used to, but that would be the case with any system. There are a few little features that would be useful, but none that I would deem critical.

I found some actions by the founders in how they handled customers who pre-paid for a lifetime account in extremely questionable territory on ethics. Basically they took tens of thousands of dollars of early investors money and gave a lifetime account promising they would roll out online payments for credit cards. When they finally rolled it out, it is a free service for paid plans but they went back on their word for these early investors. They now want a percent of ALL the revenue paid through the platform ON TOP of the actual payment fees from Paypal etc. Except, if you give up your lifetime account and convert to a monthly subscription model, then they don't take a percent of your sales collected. The way they still to this day deny this basic integration they promised to these customers - their lack of bug fixes - their rude customer responses when it comes to this top
Pros: I like that I can make a proposal, save things as a template, and make a decent looking proposal.
Cons: I found the template builder a little bit clunky with the design and lost my designs a few times as I was learning the platform.

Pros: Our potential clients can get all the info they need in one place and ability to track opens is really useful to proactively follow up.
Cons: The template editor UX could be better, should be easier to copy sections and columns are hard to work with.

I think BetterProposal is GREAT value and a critical step in my sales process. The proposals look great and are easy to use. If I ever have a question the BP team is SUPER fast to help. Amazing really!

Cons: Being from a small country our specific payment process (mollie.com) is not supported, but that's okay. If this was critical I could always use STRIPE as that is supported.

Pros: Better Proposals is a great asset to my business, it keeps me one step ahead of my competitors with my quotations looking stunning and is definitely having a positive effect in securing more work. The team at better proposals are brilliant! their technical knowledge is brilliant and the entire team offers a very friendly service.
Cons: Being a SME, I'm always on the go, so an app would be great for me to create proposals on the go if you're not so savvy with computers, it's not easy to set up better proposals with Xero accounting software however, in saying this, the technical team went above and beyond in helping me do this which I'm extremely grateful for

We used Better Proposals for our startup - we used them in all of our cold outreach campaigns to generate interest as the digital proposals were easy for our prospects to access and the presentation made it easy to share our services.
Pros: Easy to use/ get set up/ track activity such as opens and clicked, amazing UI to build proposals, and integrated into our payment provider.
Cons: Nothing negative to say - this software works very well and the UI is awesome.

Pros: It includes features such as e-signatures, proposal analytics, and the ability to accept payments directly within the proposal.
Cons: The fact that Zapier integration is only available for the higher-priced plans of Better Proposals. Automation is a beneficial aspect of workflow. To only offer this feature for higher paid plans does not seem logical to me.

Good experience from sales through to customer support
Pros: I love the visual nature of the end product, the content library that allows simple use of data chunks, and the hints and tips throughout on the template pages that help you to really make the most of your document.
Cons: It's sometimes difficult to edit things, particularly adding images and changing fonts etc on text
