Google Workspace

Pros: It's great VALUE FOR MONEY, and it's actually quite powerful when the whole team is working on it. Being able to share files and have all my stuff in the cloud is really, really helpful.

Cons: Sometimes the UX is a little bit confusing. The way you have to edit some settings to get to certain things, set up emails, unless you know what you're doing, it can be quite confusing.

Pros: Google workspace is the core of our business activity - Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Forms etc - we use it all to operate the business collaboratively across locations, making live updates and having cloud storage and access. It’s fast, reliable, and full featured for our needs.

Cons: As with most cloud-based, full featured platforms like Google Workspace, your business starts to gain a dependence on it to operate. Each year the price typically rises, so the costs can start to feel heavier, but because we’re so tied into the ecosystem, it can be difficult to change (not that we have the desire to).

Pros: Google Workspace is very easy to use and makes team collaboration extremely smooth. Real-time editing in Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive saves a lot of time, and everything works well across devices. The integration between Gmail, Meet, Calendar, and Drive is one of the best parts of the platform.

Cons: Some advanced features require higher-priced plans, and managing large amounts of storage across teams can become expensive over time. Offline functionality can also feel limited compared to some desktop-based alternatives.

Pros: What I liked most about Google Workspace was how easy it made everything feel. Everything connected properly, so I was not constantly switching between different systems or trying to find information. Being able to move from emails to calendars, documents, meetings, and shared files all in one place made day to day work much smoother and less stressful. I also liked how simple it was to collaborate with other people. Working on documents at the same time, leaving comments, and seeing updates instantly saved a lot of back and forth and helped things move quicker. It felt much more practical and user friendly compared to systems where everything feels disconnected.

Cons: One of the things I liked least about Google Workspace was that it can sometimes feel too dependent on having a good internet connection. If the connection was slow or unstable, it could affect access to files or cause delays when working collaboratively. I also found that some features were not always as advanced as desktop based Microsoft Office tools, especially for more detailed formatting or complex spreadsheets. While it is very easy to use overall, there were times where certain settings or permissions could be confusing, particularly when sharing files across different teams or external users.

Pros: Google Workspace lets me work comfortably and at my own pace. The integration between its tools — Drive, Docs, Gmail, and Meet — makes everything flow seamlessly. I can collaborate with my team in real time without any hassle.

Cons: Some advanced features can have a learning curve. The pricing may also feel steep for small teams or projects with a tight budget.

Pros: The ability to share files and operate remotely but with the same level of productivity is so helpful

Cons: Sometimes google is not cross functional or compatible with apple or Microsoft but otherwise no other cons

Pros: Google Workspace offers a lot of tools under one ecosystem and the integration between Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar, and Meet is convenient. It’s easy to access from anywhere and collaboration is straightforward. Sharing files and working with others in real time is one of its strongest points. For small businesses, having everything in one place is useful. Customer support has been shockingly good when needed. Value is actually quite good as well.

Cons: The biggest issue for me is Gmail search. It’s strange that Google, known for search, can struggle so much with finding emails. I’ve had emails seem to disappear or be difficult to locate even when I know they exist. The inline email/reply system can become messy and confusing with longer conversations. Some features feel different simply for the sake of being different rather than better, and parts of the experience feel less efficient and polished than Outlook.

Pros: I like how simple and connected everything is. All of the apps work seamlessly together, making it easy to communicate, schedule meetings, share files, and collaborate with coworkers in real time. I especially like being able to move between Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Google Drive without any issues. It keeps everything organized, improves teamwork, and makes daily tasks much more efficient.

Cons: I have been using Google since I was a young teen. There is nothing that I don't love about Google Workspace. I find all of the apps super easy to use. As an adult, I have used many apps that aren't related to google and I never like them as much as any of the apps through Google Workspace.

Pros: Google Workspace integrates everything for our business. We mostly utilize it for email, calendars and sharing google docs internally. Google is obviously known and used on a personal level so everyone on our team can use it seamlessly.

Cons: The only issues I have really had is having the google docs sync to our computer in a timely matter. From time to time I need to refresh and restart things.

Pros: The thing I like the most is real time collaboration, as I am able to jump into documents with other team members and make edits. Everything like Gmail, Drive, Calendar are connected in one place, which saves me a lot of time.

Cons: Google Sheets sometimes feel slow when handling complex and large data files. Pricing is reasonable but can get expensive as storage needs grow.

Pros: This is the heart of my business. What I find brilliant is the unity of it all. Using the same account for my emails, documents, video calls, and storage creates a seamless user experience. The admin console allows me to manage my professional addresses with disconcerting ease, giving my business an instant professional image.

Cons: The cost per user ends up being a heavy burden on the budget as the team grows. I also feel that some advanced features (like in Sheets) still fall a bit short of what Microsoft Excel offers for extremely complex data analysis.

Pros: Google workspace is a high functioning app that I would highly recommend to anyone who needs to be organized and efficient.

Cons: Sometimes it lags but overall amazing. I don’t have anything I would change otherwise! I completely love it.

Pros: The seamless integration of the products, from gmail to google calendar to google meet. Additionally you get a personalized email address for you business.

Cons: The pop up ads asking to upgrade to higher tier services such as AI scribe, meeting limits, and storage.

Pros: The thing about Google is it is what everyone is used to. Many new hires are already familiar with Google's products.

Cons: Google's Admin Console is a little confusing to navigate at times, with some settings clearly coming from a different time period within Google. This is still much better than other competitors to Google Workspace.

Pros: Value for money, the ease of working with Workspace. The ease of file sharing is very important in our line of work.

Cons: Honestly, to date, I have no complaints. And I am sure that if anything came up, Google would handle it immediately.

Pros: Google Workspace, especially in K-12, is leading the cloud based services market. Google Workspace is the sole reason we were financially able to implement a 1 to 1 policy for students.

Cons: The only downsides of Google Workspace would be the high costs and often thinks change without any prior approval.

Pros: I would rate the overall quality of Google Workspace as very high. It offers a reliable, user-friendly suite of tools with strong collaboration features, seamless cloud integration, and consistent performance across applications.

Cons: While Google Workspace is strong overall, some drawbacks include occasional performance issues with large files, limited advanced features compared to desktop-based alternatives, and reliance on a stable internet connection. Additionally, administrative controls and integrations can be complex to manage at scale.

Pros: Google Workspace ties in all of the things I'm already using - Gmail, Wix, Drive, etc. It's easy to use for most of our team. Google Forms is a game changer when we need to gather information, surveys or have forms filled out.

Cons: Sometimes it feels like Google Workspace isn't intuitive - specifically the Drive folder. I wish this portion was a bit more intuitive and easy to organize.

Pros: The biggest strength of Google Workspace for me is how easily it keeps my day-to-day work connected. I spend a lot of time moving between writing, planning, meetings, and follow-up, and Google Workspace makes that feel much more streamlined. Gmail, Calendar, and Meet work especially well together, so scheduling client calls, sending follow-ups, and keeping everything organized feels fast and straightforward. I also rely heavily on Docs and Drive for drafting product requirements, organizing research, and sharing materials with clients. Search is another major advantage. It is usually very fast to find an old email, comment, file, or note, which matters a lot when I am juggling multiple projects at once.

Cons: The main limitations show up when I need to do heavier analysis or more specialized formatting. Google Sheets works well for everyday use, but it can start to struggle with larger datasets or more complex models. Offline support is helpful in theory, but I have found it less reliable than I would like if connectivity drops unexpectedly. Docs and Slides are also great for speed and convenience, but they can feel limiting when I need more precise formatting, stronger layout control, or a more polished visual presentation.

Pros: Ease of filesharing for devices linked to your email address to have documents readily available in different portals

Cons: Free cloud storage is limited and once you overshoot the free space it seems the space to buy also quickly fills up
