Pros: Awesome tool to automate things, no matter what idea!
Cons: Can be a bit complicated to set up at first but when it runs it runs so smoothly.

They are pushing for something awesome, and it is a pleasure being part of the process. All startups have some bumps in the road, but Cheat Layer has managed it well, and I look forward to seeing what lies ahead. #excitingtimes
Pros: It ahs come a long way to unlock its potential, and it is a game changer. It has a dedicated team that is constantly at it to improve it even further. It is so simple - just upload any video of a repetitive task and it generates an agent for you doing that task. It goes way beyond just scraping websites and shines in RPA for web apps. It saves people LOTS of time on repetitive tasks and is INCREDIBLE.
Cons: With the improvements in the cheat layer product and dashboard, it is now easier to understand the instructions.

I'm loving it. The onboarding process is smooth. It took just few mins to onboard and deploy agents.
Pros: Can't believe my own eyes. Cheat Layer can do so many things that too on fully automated.
Cons: To be honest, I don't see anything as cons as of now, simply because that the amount of automation Cheat Layer can do are so much that small limitation look really negligible

It is a really cool tool that helps me save my time while testing my systems and helps remove repetitive tasks and makes you more productive.
Pros: It is a tool that does not require coding and is easy to create automations. It has also other features to integrate with external services to log automation data. You can record your actions and save them, and the software will run it for you automatically.
Cons: The UI needs updating and is being improved with each update. There is a learning curve if you do not come from a technical background. Other than that, it is an awesome tool.

Pros: This tool proves incredibly useful when you're tasked with gathering data from a website. The feature allowing you to train the AI using straightforward language, coupled with the capability to schedule automations, enhances its overall utility.
Cons: The desktop dashboard does not have a free option.

Pros: Super intuitive to use, almost no "RTFM" required.
Cons: Nothing left to wish for! Every time I thought of a use case that I wish it had, it either already did, or it was just days away from reaching release worthy

I recently had the opportunity to use Cheatlayer for my academic research, and I was very impressed with the results. It was an easy-to-use, intuitive tool that allowed me to quickly and efficiently automate my research process. The automated processes allowed me to save a lot of time and energy, making the whole process much easier and more efficient. I was also able to customize my research process according to my individual needs and preferences. Overall, I found Cheatlayer to be a great automation tool for academic research. Highly recommended!

The automated processes allowed me to save a lot of time and energy, making the whole process much easier and more efficient. I was also able to customize my research process according to my individual needs and preferences.
Cons: It has some learning curve and that is a bit challenging.

My team does most of their work across multiple internal and external websites. Their work involves a lot of copying and pasting from various web sources into spreadsheets for reporting and analysis. I have been able to combine work that previously took hours into automation that now takes just a few minutes. This also helps reduce new employee training time and all team member errors since the actions are now automated.
Pros: Cheat Layer has an exceptionally easy-to-use (once you understand the features and the workflow.) no-code interface. It enables you to create complex web automations across multiple tabs and then translate your developed process into a Chrome Extension that you can share with others or sell. I am also super excited to start using the AI-driven custom automations and desktop RPA tool that is included in the product. There is a ton of potential for me to reduce the time my team takes on redundant tasks.
Cons: There is a learning curve. It takes some work to get your mind around how to use the tool. Once you understand the basics and build of few automations of your own by following some of their training videos, you begin to understand how to apply the amazing features to your own automations. I feel like the training could be better organized and help you build upon your skills by showing you how to build more complex automations though examples in a course format. I know that they are working on building out more Youtube training videos, but for me, that would be most helpful.

Pros: The possibilites of this tool are vast and almost everything in the web browser can be automated without much of a trouble once you get to understand the work process. Desktop app has been amazing compared to Microsoft automate and robomotion. Love how easily once can create code with AI code writer which is built in to accelerate the automation process.
Cons: Cheatlater has bit of a learning curver compared to other automation tools out there like pabblu and zapier but will save costs in the long run once the automation tasks are set and running.
Anonymous User · CO · Information Technology and Services · December 8, 2022
Pros: I like the fact that the tool is so easy to use. To create an automation, I record my actions like clicks and scrolls and I can save them as automations that run in my browser. It also integrates nicely with Google sheets so I can save data to it.
Cons: When I first started using it, I didn't really like the UI, however it has gotten much better with every update. The dev really listens to his users.

Pros: I have been using Cheat Layer for about 1 year, during which I have had the opportunity to attend a bootcamp, work one-one with one of their office hour software engineers and talk to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] himself. Every interaction has been excellent. The dedication and hard work the team puts into this is outstanding. As far as Cheat Layer itself.. it is a very flexible tool. I have used it mainly for scraping websites and populating Google Sheets. There are many no-code “cheats” that you can use for many different situations/solutions, and you can have GPT-3 create code for you based on your “natural language” query and then add to this yourself. A keyboard/action recorder enables almost any set of actions to be taken on a website - part of which is a feature where elements that change, like buttons, will be correctly spotted-whether they change in name, position or both.I like the ability to sell the solutions I create via the white-label option.
Cons: I can’t think of anything: it is a product that meets many needs and looks to have a bright future. If I had to state something, Cheat Layer no code can be improved but I see that as on the "continually improving" side especially with the upcoming Project Atlas.

The benefits are I have been able to make customized scraping tools as well as automations to quickly help me with my marketing efforts. Integrating Cheat Layer with other software has been great.
Pros: I love that I can make no-code customized automations specific to my needs. I like that there is a desktop version as well as a chrome extension of Cheat Layer. The action recorder has been a great feature. I can easily integrate Cheat Layer with other software.
Cons: Cheat Layer was growing and changing so quickly initially that it was hard to keep up with all of the changes. However, these were all good changes, or new features.

RPA or automation things will definitely replace some of our works in near future. Learning them in advance is a worthy investment in oneself.
Pros: UI/UX: definitely it is UI/UX. You have no problem in using the software. What really matters would be to map out logic flow. It's like making ppt. You know how to open and use ppt, but you may not be good at making quality ppt. It's the same thing. Software itself is very user-friendly, but drafting out quality logic flow may take some time. But there are a couple of pre-made templates you can refer to from the website.
Cons: Desktop app: not yet an official version. But the team said that the official one will be released soon. It's a bit unstable, not really critical though. Comparing to browser ver., desktop ver. should enhance its usability further.

I've created a few custom niche scrapers to find potential clients. The interface is a little odd, but development has been robust and the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been very active in a private FB group, helping users get past problems. There is also the possibility of white labeling what's developed with Cheat Layer and distributing it as a chrome extension but I haven't created anything worth sharing yet.
Pros: I was able to quickly build a custom scraper as a proof of concept, then take that an apply it to sites that are too small to attract developers (local chamber of commerce, business groups, etc)
Cons: Bit of a learning curve unless you can already code. Interface is a little odd.

Building automations that are unique, and having been with the software since early days, it is amazing the time and effort the owners have out into making this a future proof solution that will enable people to create their own software
Pros: Rapid development by the team to build features that allow more options for users
Cons: It takes a while to get your head around how it works, simply because there is nothing else like this anywhere else.
Paul T. · Technology Manager · Information Technology and Services · November 21, 2022
Pros: One of the best things about the software is the team. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] built an amazing tool, but didn't stop there. He continues to improve things and is very active in listening to and understanding the needs of his users. If I had to speak specifically about a feature within the tool that has proved most useful, it would be the no-code option. I have used it to help us create code and automations that have dramatically reduced the need to write code for some pretty complex actions.
Cons: There's a learning curve, but the team makes time to help users understand the product and how to use it within your business
Chris R. · President · Marketing and Advertising · November 21, 2022
Pros: Easy to create automations with some playing around with the no code tool. the action recorder is useful for more complex things it creates the automation from watching you complete the tasks that you can then run again whenever you need to repeat the process
Cons: UI and overlay could do with some polish to adapt to different screen sizes better

automation
Pros: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is a really good [SENSITIVE CONTENT] I just felt like cheat layer did not have enough support
Cons: I would waste calls and I wwould get no where

It's been great, it allowed us to automate some of our marketing and prospecting aspects of the company, reducing time (and increasing motivation to actually carry out some tedious tasks)
Pros: The fact that you can use natural language to generate javascript to train the automation model
Cons: They have improved UI/UX quite a lot, but it is still very complex to use, I don't find it intuitive at all, but it's worth the learning curve

Cheat Layer helps non-coders connect and run automation from a fairly simple drag and drop/click and fill method. Once you understand how this benefits automating many tasks, the tool becomes invaluable. Creating custom extensions and automation processes is quick, the GPT-3 code generator is awesome, and the price is just right!
Pros: Not being a coder myself, the GPT-3 code generation tool is one of my favorite features.
Cons: Some people may find the learning curve a bit complex, but if you have any exposure to the basics of programming you should be able to catch on reasonably quick. The UI was a bit rough when I first joined Cheat Layer, but this, along with a number of other improvements, has taken place on the platform and I am happy with it.

Since I run a small company, being able to leverage machine intelligence to automate tasks not only reduces human error but also saves me money that would otherwise have to be spent on manpower. I know that the tool could be used to create Chrome extensions to be sold as products, and that's something I'm hoping to learn in time in order to expand my current offerings.
Pros: What a concept Cheat Layer is! Using it is like suddenly gaining super powers—you can automate so many actions and with the GPT-3 code generator, we are able to easily come up with solutions without learning code! The best thing is that the team is constantly working hard to provide support in the form of office hours, bootcamp training and challenges, as well as new features such as the desktop app!
Cons: Despite the fact that the interface has already made automation that much more accessible, this field in general requires a bit of learning and training. Since I do not have a background in programming, I still need to practice a bit, but I get the hang of it, so many possibilities are opened up. Even when I'm stuck, the amazing support team is there to offer help.

Take more than a few minutes when researching this product and if you have the patience to learn this, you can do some pretty impressive things without writing code.
Pros: First thing to understand is that Cheat Layer is a platform more than a product. I love it, and love what it can do. It's a no-code tool that has the potential to do more great things than I first imagined. For the right users (semi-technical business-types and above), it's value is in it's power, not easy of use. There is some remarkable flexibility and a remarkable future ahead as the team rolls out new improvements. They seem to do that regularly the product has a bright future.
Cons: CL is still in the early days, so don't expect a perfectly polished product. The UI is ugly and very clunky (almost awful) so you'll need to overlook that. And there is a learning curve, but it's value and potential isn't always easy to understand or learn.
Anonymous User · CEO · Management Consulting · June 21, 2022
The founder is awesome and the community around cheat layer is very supportive :)
Pros: The best thing about this is the freedom to create nearly any automation I desire for my business.
Cons: The learning curve is a bit steep... but you just have to push through the comfort zone!
Anonymous User · Founder · Marketing and Advertising · June 14, 2022
Pros: Honestly, I haven't found Cheatlayer-like automation anywhere else on the internet. The company is truly disrupting the space and helping automate tasks that we couldn't before.
Cons: They claim to be for no-coders but honestly, it requires code knowledge.
Aashish P. · Founder & Chief Editor · E-Learning · June 14, 2022
Pros: The action recorder, once I the hang of it, will completely overhaul my lead generation processes. Definitely buy if you need to do repeat (clickable) processes.
Cons: Not the most user-friendly UI, but this isn't a big problem when the output is so effective.
