Baserow

Pros: My [sensitive content hidden] and I were in need of a low-cost solution for managing thousands of data points to track seed accessions for ecological restoration. We were losing data with Google sheets and unable to cross-reference collection data, seed farming and overall lifecycle of seed lots. We tried a costly database used by large-scale seed farmers and it didn't meet our needs; it was slow, the interface was ancient and the workflow was not intuitive. Baserow is elegant, super fast and intuitive to use.

Cons: There is a learning curve; however compared to the time we would have invested in learning Python or another programming language to custom-build a database, this is much faster.

Pros: Baserow is wonderful and quite simple to use, I always use baserow as the database for my applications.

Cons: Until now, nothing. Baserow meets all my needs, that is, I love the site.

Pros: - Cost effective from free to 5 USD per month - Simple and clean interface - Simple but useful API endpoints - Nice and supportive community - Application builder is evolving now - Open-source mindset and movement

Cons: - Application builder could have more feature (expectation for the future) - Filters should be sent as POST request rather than a GET parameter

Pros: It is the best option to work in online databases, it is very similar to Airtable which has made it easy for me to use it

Cons: You don't have the calendar view in the free version

Pros: nocode relational database open source and can be self hosted

Cons: Somehow lack of functionality if we compare with Airtable.

Pros: Baserow provides open source version, which helped a lot for nonprofit companies to manage their team and projects.

Cons: - There is no desktop version of baserow. - Cannot add WYSIWYG page on an item/task

Pros: The huge ammount of field types, which allows the creation of very complete and complex information systems easily.

Cons: On the premium plan (the middle plan) the number of rows per workspace (10.000) is very low. This number should be higher.

Pros: Ease of use. Ability to connect via API.

Cons: Has a tendency to log users out frequently.

Pros: Rich in function, multiple users grouped, link fotr task and users

Cons: Complexity to use per novices, and a lot of windows in screen

Pros: Infinite rows. Needed in products like these.

Cons: The load time, the lack of Google cloud setup support, every so often it'll be buggy and I'm not sure what resources to upgrade - does it need more memory? A larger machine? Another instance? That feedback would be remarkable.

Cons: So far, during the trial period I could find any Cons 👍🏻

Pros: I appreciate the way that Baserow offers a familiar and intuitive interface for building business applications. The fact that it's open source is the icing on the cake.

Cons: Feature parity with competing applications (e.g. Airtable) can create an (somewhat unfair) sense that Baseerow is "missing something". However, when one fairly examins the platform in its own right, Baserow is a solid and feature-rich option for getting your business or project off the ground.

Pros: It's really easy to use and user friendly platform.

Pros: From day one, we were able to structure the idea in spreadsheets. When we were done, we had a fully functional backend and it was just a matter of building the app and the website. That's all!

Cons: That we didn’t use it much earlier, due to it’s ease of use and scalability.

Pros: Easy to use software with fair pricing model.

Cons: There are not a lot of integrations or special features yet

Pros: Baserow permite a los usuarios crear aplicaciones web personalizadas sin necesidad de escribir código. La interfaz intuitiva y las funciones avanzadas facilitan la construcción de aplicaciones sofisticadas en poco tiempo.

Cons: •Puede tener limitaciones en términos de funcionalidad avanzada para usuarios con requisitos específicos. •La curva de aprendizaje inicial puede ser empinada para aquellos sin experiencia previa en la creación de aplicaciones web.

Pros: I love that I can have a database created without much work and it also has a full fledged API available for me to use the data in an app.

Cons: Something I'd love to see in Baserow is more customizations with the CSS of the App Builder. That'd make it so much better

Pros: - I love the fact it's open-source - Easy to deploy on self-hosted server - API is great and well designed - UI is good, although not as good as Airtable - Writing Formulas is a pain (UX can be improved) - Lookup/Rollup behave strangely with relationships - App Builder is the future

Cons: - Airtable UI is better/faster - Airtable provide more features (sync tables)
