Pros: “Not positive at all. We have lost significant business and income because of this service. We cannot receive incoming calls to our business, and incoming calls account for over 95% of our revenue. This failure has cost us valuable clients and opportunities. Poor communication and lack of reliable support have only made things worse. I would never recommend this service to anyone.”
Cons: “Extremely negative experience.Incoming calls account for over 95% of our revenue, yet we cannot receive them — all inbound calls automatically go to voicemail and never ring into the office. From the beginning, there was no helpful setup or tech support. The person in charge of our setup from Vonage could not troubleshoot even basic issues and constantly had to escalate to the next level for resolution. Even after more than two weeks, we still have major unresolved problems. The equipment we were sold isn’t even on the active items list to properly set up or troubleshoot. We deal with hardphone and softphone issues daily, with no consistent or reliable help from Vonage customer service. This service has cost us clients and income and created daily headaches.”

Overall, Vonage has been a reliable solution for our business communication needs. Once we got everything set up the way we wanted, it’s been smooth sailing. We rarely have dropped calls, and the mobile app makes it easy to stay connected when we’re on the go. There are a few areas where the interface could be improved, but in terms of functionality and reliability, it gets the job done well.

Cons: The admin interface can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when you’re trying to make more advanced changes to call routing or voicemail settings. It’s not always intuitive, so there’s a learning curve if you’re not super technical. Also, support response times could be faster.

Having Vonage as a part of our daily routine really has improved our overall efficiency.
Pros: We love that we can assign the phone number for an individual and have them set up right for the start of their employment. We also appreciate the call quality and the mobile app as it makes everything far more efficient.
Cons: It took us a while to figure out the setup of each individual number but once we learned the process it became like second nature in getting them setup!

Vonage has worked well for our call center and as an internal messaging app. It is easy to set and modify call groups. We are able to track reports of calls in and out as well as create virtual extensions to include external numbers within our group. The administration panel is far more intuitive than our previous provider. The phone system has been extremely reliable over the last few years as well.
Pros: The set up of accounts and administration of the system is very straightforward. We can onboard someone and minutes and have them in a call group. We can also make changes in an emergency quickly and efficiently.
Cons: There are occasional issues with the app either not sending messages or crashing(although this has not happened as much lately). I also do not like that we cannot remove extensions for billing without assistance from support.

Overall it has been shaky, the sms messaging being down is a bad deal, as I use texts as 99% of my communication to my student, so I am forced to use another app for SMS and Vonage for calls.
Pros: I like that I can use the app on my computer or on my cell phone
Cons: I do not like the fact that the Sms messaging is still having errors and not all of my messages are making it through to the contacts

Vonage has user user-friendly interface, as a softphone it checks all the boxes for functionality and reliability when needing to implement an app that as an offshore rep I can use for sales.
Pros: The user interface is very nice, and the messaging system it has helps a lot with text messages. As a softphone for an offshore rep, this would be one of my go-to options. As a sales manager, I was able to look up my call recordings and the reps I trained to review their calls.
Cons: I never had any relevant issues with the app itself, maybe the ability to not integrate with SalesLoft was a minor issue for me.

Pros: I like that we are able to call our clients and have the number show up as our business number, while also having the ability to give out a direct line for them to call.
Cons: The calls drop often and when that happens the app glitches.

Pros: I like the voicemail features and capabilities to login and use on any device! I also like the ability to pay by bank with account and routing option. It’s easy to change bank accounts if need be without the hassle of plaid and micros.
Cons: Pricing is a little steep and sometimes calls aren’t known about until you have a voicemail email alert.

I'm actually going to give a chance for someone in a North America team to reach out before I leave a 3000 plus report of my experience of 7 years as a customer paying $150 per month which includes many full outages, intermittent call and sms outages (just nothing comes on our end despite clients trying calls and SMS on their end) and software glitches, and which culminated in a ongoing SMS outage (despite having resolved the campaign registry) resulting in lost clients and a hair pulling two weeks of total unresponsiveness from tech support. I own a courier service and clients sending sms for medication deliveries or flowers for funerals just never got to us. Hundreds of these messages lost. Now, as of 4 days ago, outgoing sms is working but incoming isn't which is obviously the vital communication. Did a little switcharoo. A nightmare. I even have had nightmares.
Pros: Has good features like call recording and sms (when it's not losing your messages into the void)
Cons: Regular outages and glitches, tech support (even the escalation teams) totally apathetic, unresponsive and unsympathetic

We are still newer to Vonage, but it has been a good transition. They have been in communication with us and try to help us when we need it.
Pros: It is an easy program for our agents and supervisors to learn and use. Provides a multitude of customizable options that work well with the integration to Salesforce. I enjoy their community hub that allows me as the manager, to be able to keep informed with updates and issues others are seeing, which is great transparency and 100% is a stress reliever to me.
Cons: Still are some features that are not present yet such as reports that are helpful for nonprofit work and specific metrics within those, clean ways to monitor calls - wish there was a way to customize the page so I can see everything I need while monitoring, and we have had some hiccups here and there with the program, but for the most part have been able to troubleshoot in a timely manner.

Pros: While every VOIP has its problems, customer service with Vonage is outstanding. They never leave any tasks unfinished and no questions are left unanswered.
Cons: The set up was tricky, but I am no phone analytics expert.

Setting up Vonage is easy and straightforward and the customer service is top tier.
Pros: Vonage is straightforward and easy to set up they have phenomenal customer service. I have several customers that used Vonage and are absolutely elated about the price and service.
Cons: I would say my least favorite thing about Vonage would be the mobile application as it tends to crash more than expected if you are not using an iPhone.

I signed up with Vonage to get better customer service with setup and I did not get it as promised. They charged me for service even after I cancelled.
Pros: The price wasn't unreasonalble for the services we needed.
Cons: Customer service was difficult to get. They sent me an office phone that I couldn't use without an ethernet cable. My router is in another room. Later I found a router extender that I could use to connect the phone to the internet, but no one in tech support seemed to know that simple fix. Also they stated that you needed to cancel the auto renewal it needed 60 days advance notice. I did that only to find out that the request doesn't mean that you want them to not automatically charge your credit card for service. Even after I had my number ported out. Set up was not easy for me and I couldn't get good help from them. Their service was inconsistant. My wife and I both had the app on our cell phones but the calls would not always come though on both phones.

Not good at all we fell for the scam of tell the customer what they want to hear and hope they never use it
Pros: it had a nice layout in the application
Cons: everything it never worked, we were told constantly by sales and our pm that we had these features but everytime we tried to use them we had to pay an additional fee for them or even if they existed in vonage

Overall it was a pleasant experience. We got exactly what we needed at the time nothing more nothing less. We ended up switching and got wayyyyy more for way less and now we could never go back!
Pros: Our call quality was always crystal clear and never dropped or missed a call.
Cons: We least like the price point and the long contracts that would auto renew without a notification and even on weekends/ holidays.

Relatively good compared to other companies we use for similar services. Customer support is good; reps are pro-active and helpful and will go out of their way to find you a solution.
Pros: The best thing we have found with Vonage Business Communications is the Customer Service. The reps really do try and help you out and take a pro-active approach which is highly unusual in the telecom industry.
Cons: Sometimes when you are trying to get information from their billing department, they seem to be unable to provide it. This appears to be more of an operational issue than a personnel issue.

We were pleased with Vonage services for the 5ish years we utilized the service. As our business grew (and COVID hit), we felt the need to move to another service that offered more service for the price we were paying.
Pros: Vonage Business Communication was great for our small business. The platform is easy to use and offers users a seamless process.
Cons: As our business grew and we had the need to add more services, the price rose as well and became a bit high for our small business to absorb.

It has great quality on calls and keeping trakc of your agents via status on thier clients, you can even force to send calls to them if you have someone on a different process. you can listend to calls live, or recordings in both platforms needed. keep in mind on vonage businesss the storage is more limited that in Cotact center, you can even download and connect it via APis, so I'd say we are having a great time managing our call flow wiht multiple queues base on our needs.
Pros: You need two products from vonage but once you have VOnage business and vonage contact center your are able to set up and manage a call center and its workflow and keep track of how your agents are behaving and even assist them if needed via call whispering or call monitoring,
Cons: It can be a bit complex to understand how to connect evrything to get the call flow in order.

Die Plattform ist okay. Nicht besser oder schlechter als die Wettbewerber. Aber die technische Umsetzung ist eine Katastrophe wie oben beschrieben. Der Fehler von Vonage hat uns sehr viel Geld gekostet und es gab bisher kein Entgegenkommen von Seiten Vonage's.
Pros: Vonage hat nichts besonderes, die Plattform ist aber optisch okay.
Cons: Vonage hatte einen technischen Fehler, der unsere SMS intern geblockt hatte. Dieser Fehler von Seiten Vonage's hat uns mehrere Tausend Euro gekostet. Anstatt uns den Schaden zumindest du einem Teil zu erstetzen, haben sie uns einen kostenlosen Online-Kurs angeboten. Ein absoluter Witz.
