Phocas

Pros: Very easy to use. Ability to manage very large data sets and manipulate into different views.

Cons: Inability to export dashboards into excel.

Pros: Great software, really user friendly, and cuts the complexity out of data analysis.

Cons: The customer service and after sales support is very poor, to the point of considering moving away. I've had a ticket open for months now and can't seem to just have a call with them to discuss the issue, very disappointing.

Pros: Clear and effective dashboards, easy to interpret and maintain

Cons: AI features are encouraging but could do with refining.

Pros: Easy to use and intuitive. Our sales teams are the primary users because it is simple

Cons: On the financial side - syncing. We need to run this manually at month end as we complete journals, we want to see updated reports more timely.

Pros: I like that is very user friendly, and that is not hard to figure out.

Cons: I don't like that you can't import data into it so that you can return values that reflect the imported data. For example, instead of clicking on each SKU you want to look at, I think it would be beneficial to import a large dataset that involves SKUs so that you can see their data much faster.

Pros: Lots of data to view and gives a wealth of information

Cons: It’s too clumpy in that not user friendly

Pros: Very easy to use and especially good at putting data in the hands of non data professionals

Cons: Not much really. I still think a native mobile phone app would be nice but most people disagree with me

Pros: I like the ease of use and how you can analyse data at various levels to get what you need. I brought this into my current company as used in a previous role and helps with everything from sales and marketing to budgets and costings. Being a one stop shop for all your data.

Cons: Could be slightly better from a customer perspective, having option to share data, dashboards etc with customers is great as a view option however being able to extract tables to excel from a view version would make it easier for customers as currently have to also set up emailed subscriptions for tables and data so feels like you are doing double work when it would be so easy to have an option for customers to extract to excel any of the tables created in view only. I hope this is something that could be implemented in the future.

Pros: transparency - ease of use; This has been instrumental as Tencarva pushes toward united reporting

Cons: The one constraint we found is Budget uploading without the budget module.

Pros: how many different reports you can run, it's endless

Cons: Sometimes it is a little difficult to figure out how to run reports with the parameters you need

Pros: The ease of use and ability to drill down to the exact detail you are looking for. Also the quickness with which it sorts and organizes the information is a great feature of the software.

Cons: At first, it seemed a little daunting, but the tutorials and guidance tools they provide allow the user to learn the ins and outs at a rapid pace

Pros: The software works very well and the support from Phocas is exceptional and very knowledgeable.

Cons: I have no complaints regarding Phocas, they are a company that does what it says

Pros: The functionality to build custom reports with easy to choose options.

Cons: At first it takes some use to familiarize with all of the options and choices, almost too many options, but once you get the hang of it, and save custom options it's great.

Pros: Phocas is easy to use providing self service to users. This reduces the workload on IT

Cons: Data integration can get complicated over time. This is really down to how we have added data rather than an issue with Phocas

Pros: We use Phocas for all our reporting across the business. The ability to make any dashboard visible on an external link has allowed us to use it for our wall board reporting throughout the business - making the numbers visual has helped to make them understandable. Using Phocas for reporting on spend breakdown couldn't be easier, and beats using alternatives like excel or similar!

Cons: I guess if there's one thing Phocas could do better, that is modernise the dashboard graphics - the options feel quite restrictive.

Pros: Thanks to this tool, you'll be able to understand your company's data. It's easy to deploy and allows you to centralise your data.

Cons: this tool is regularly updated but does not come regularly with patches updates but is compatible on several platforms

Pros: The speed and the web based working aspect.

Cons: Depending on the contact person. If this person is on vacation or sick, there is only a substitute for emergencies. But there are nearly weekly issues to clarify.

Pros: I like how easy it is to use! It didnt even require training.

Cons: Sometimes, we do have connectivity issues with it connecting with our versions of dynamics Navision.

Pros: The fact that Phocas Software is simple to use and enables quick and simple access to data was appealing to me. Additionally, the visuals are excellent, allowing for simple customization of the dashboards' appearance and feel. The team is always willing to assist with any questions or problems, and the customer service is also excellent.

Cons: I didn't like how the user interface was clunky and not as intuitive as other software applications I'd used before. It was difficult to navigate the system and find the information I needed.

Pros: I enjoy the ability to phocas into different datasets whilst viewing another, for example the product, credit note type BY each customer.

Cons: Available training for new users. I have several years and was shown with a 'hands on approach'.
