I love work day and since a lot of businesses use it, I have gotten a lot of experience using it, which has been a benefit for me.
Pros: I like how organized it is. I like how the system puts together forms very professional and instantly.
Cons: There is nothing I don't like about it. Maybe they can add some tutorial videos on how to locate things one might have a hard time finding.

Pros: I like working with the front and back end interface. The sheets are intuitive and the formula / syntax building is also easy to understand. More importantly, I enjoy the traceability of a questionable value to the source model. I can easily troubleshoot when something looks off.
Cons: There is size / capacity limitation for each version. So during the build , one has to ensure that the formulas are written to optimize performance.

Overall very simple to use, very affordable . Employees also like this program. needs better reporting selections.
Pros: Very easy to use as a user and as an employee.Excellent security and exceptional customer support. Great value.
Cons: Should have better reporting capabilities. Needs more reporting selections. Better breakdowns with scheduling and actual hours.

I am a big fan of Adaptive - I have implemented it in two different companies now and have seen the results first hand, seeing before-and-after financial process impacts.
Pros: We can turn around our financial results so much faster than we previously could, and then use those values to project out a rolling forecast easily once the initial formulas are set up. It's nearly automatic now.
Cons: A little bit of inflexibility with some of the reporting features (Vol, Rate analysis not possible outside downloading to Excel and QTD values not easily pulled without backend edits to saved reports).

Pros: I liked Workday's popularity, which indicated that it's a trusted product, but after using it and comparing it to other software, I'm convinced that its popularity is the result of persistent salespeople and not product superiority.
Cons: Clunky and complicated UX that shows complete disregard for the user. If it can be simpler, it should. But if the people in charge lack emotional intelligence or empathy for the user, the result is a Workday-type UI.

The ability to get very granular with plan aspects that can roll up is a game changer. We have a very complex revenue model that is now captured and understood fully with Adaptive Planning.
Pros: The integrated single sign on (SSO) with Workday for ease of use was a great option for our organization.
Cons: Lack of integrated security with the Workday platform. It would be great to tie position with security rather than user.

Overall, the experience has been 8/10. There are plenty of good things about the system such as its reliability and its security, however, sometimes it can be bit slow in picking up text.
Pros: It is fast, secure, easy to use. Workday Adaptive planning allows for non-financial planners to easily manage and review finances.
Cons: Although it takes time to get comfortable with the software, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to learn some aspects of the software. There can also be more chances of error with this type of software.

Overall, I’ve used worse. Reporting and data visualizations were great, AI tools weren’t. Still needs work as many AI tools do, and I think that part was probably deployed too soon, tbh.
Pros: Little work to maintain after setup, data visualizations were pretty good! I really appreciated the planning and forecasting tools.
Cons: Setup took aaaaaaages. It’s best if you have someone take a certification class to do the setup if you can swing it.

Overall, its a great basic software that allows everyone to work together pretty well. It just needs some work.
Pros: It is is so close to great but some of the UI can become a pain. It is so very close to being great.
Cons: The UI is kinda clunky at times. Sometimes you find everything you need, sometimes its lost in Narnia. It is so close to perfect.

I did not have a good experience with Adaptive and chose to replace it with another systems due to lack of enhancements, difficult close process, and lack of clean dashboards
Pros: It has all of the key integrations making the data reliable and in sync with major accounting systems
Cons: The product has not developed after being acquired by Workday. It is stale and other platforms have much better functionality and are easy to use.

It was easy for me to go in and train and schedule my associates to do training specific to what was being focused on in a regional setting.
Pros: It is easy to schedule training. All our associates training is scheduled in workday.
Cons: I liked the everything about workday adaptive planning.

Very good for financial domains, and ones you get the hang of it the platform is User Friendly
Pros: For what I used it is very good for forecasting and integrating things such as SAP.
Cons: I required extensive training to achieve this, can be complex

Good experience with very few issues or concerns. Workday has been attentive, responsive, and helpful.
Pros: It's a great product for reporting purposes within the industry. The office connect add on for excel is really helpful and makes it very easy to switch between different dimensions of data and dissecting.
Cons: Tool works well but there are gaps in terms of functionality around cost allocations and the way it uses master data elements.
Joel S. · Automation Engineer · Pharmaceuticals · February 3, 2025
Pros: I really appreciate the scalability & connectivity features the software offers. I also love that it integrates AI to help us stay on top of budget trends.
Cons: I have yet to find a drawback with the software.
Deja T. · Operations Administrator · Media Production · January 29, 2025
Overall this is a great product. Once you adapt to it or just bookmark the pages you need and store them on your custom view for easy locating, the software makes HR items and manager requests a breeze.
Pros: Everything you need is right there. Great all in one software. View time off taken, time off requests, paystubs, taxes, ect. Everything is at your fingertips.
Cons: Everything is at your fingertips if you can figure out where it is. The user interface is a little confusing at first and navigating the site isnt the easiest.
Dori O. · Fleet service advisor · Consumer Services · January 20, 2025
Pros: Use it for accounting purposes both domestic and imports in our retail company. It is more intuitive and flexible to configure compared to our previous software PeopleSoft.
Cons: It's proprietary so integrating into our internal tools is challenging.

i researched this service when starting up my business. signed up and paid the subscription for a trial basis then started getting my grounding, found several way cheaper, with more features, so decided not to continue this contract. i have eleven employees currently and WAP charges based on the users under said account id go bankrupt paying for this id suggest offering more suitable arrangements for smaller businesses, as there are tons more of those popping up everyday theres too much competition in software options for any company to not offer a free or trial package one can afford.
Pros: great for budgeting and tracking expenses during month or quarter for large companies, easy to use interface, nice clean layout
Cons: way to expensive unless you own cooperate businesses or companies, not suitable for small business owners

So far, so good. Handy platform to book time off. Possibly only request would be to receive an email notifcation
Pros: This was a new platform for me, I loved how easy it was to navigate ands start booking time off
Cons: No cons found yet, everything seems pretty straight forward.
Nynke S. · Sales representative · Computer & Network Security · January 13, 2025

Cons: It can be made little easier for users to impliment.

Overall Workday Adaptive Planning is good and works as expected. It is reliable for me to use as a performance management software for budgeting.
Pros: The biggest pro about Workday Adaptive Planning is the easy to use dashboard as it offers a drag-and-drop functionality. This helps with making the dashboard easy to use for people with limited technical expertise.
Cons: The only con that I would say is that the advance features within Adaptive Planning have a deep learning curve and can take time to learn.

Very positive experience with workday, it customize and make the model based on how we think and want to grow our business. Super easy data structure to use and manage.
Pros: 1. Easy to adapt , manage and built our own dashboard for end users based on data. 2. It is extremely good and wonderful for managing and creating reports in seconds. 3. Quick and easy implementation. 4. Extremely reliable and we have never seen this kind of performance , no latency noticed till now.
Cons: 1. Little disappoint with customer care support and timeline. 2. User management is completely manual.

Workday is mainly for business use, so it does have its areas for improvement. However, if I built a company and had to manage the information of my employees. I would not hesitate to utilize this platform to optimize the company.
Pros: I mainly used workday when I was working for FedEx. It was useful when organizing bank statements and schedules. Keeping up with benefits and Tax information was a plus as well.
Cons: The only thing I had an issue with was after the update of the workday; there was not a clear enough explanation of how to navigate the apps. The new dashboard shows you everything on the main screen. You still needed to somewhat navigate through the site yourself and figure things out on your own.
J'moris M. · Professional Reviewer · Consumer Services · December 1, 2024
Pros: A very good corporation management website.
Cons: I had used workday and i don't seem to have any problems.
