Pros: Very helpful in learning how to use it and what steps to take to make it more efficient very easy steps to follow
Cons: That we don't use it more often would like to be able to incorporate it more into what we do but for what we do it was an amazing experience

Excellent. You can’t fault the customer service, the product, the developments and overall experience of the software Total Synergy has developed.
Pros: From the moment of signing the dotted line to been on boarded and beyond, the service that is provided is outstanding. For businesses, Total Synergy is able to transform the way a business reviews and analyses data.
Cons: There are some features that require some development however for the most part, it is a great software. Reports would be one area that could use some attention.

Has been relatively easy transitioning over to Total Synergy - happy with all the features of the software.
Pros: Total Synergy has proven to be easy to learn as a novice to Project Managment Software. Highly Recommend.
Cons: The most time consuming aspect of intergrating Total Synergy into our Office has been the initial Data Imports.

Overall synergy is incredibly useful and detailed and it has made a huge difference to tracking, reporting and cost management
Pros: Synergy is very detailed in the amount of data you can capture for complex project management.
Cons: Huge learning curve and incredibly complex system which took a long time to get the hang of, even for a smaller business.

Overall - happy. When we have a problem, someone can normally resolve it or tell us that what we want isn't possible - while frustrating, it's at least good to know that it's impossible (at this stage!)
Pros: Everything in one place - projects, timesheets
Cons: The setup was very expensive, so we did it ourselves but there are some issues we've found from our inexperience at setup

I've been using Synergy for over 20 years! I can't imagine doing business without it. It simplifies so much of the business admin, as well as the daily project management and project admin.
Pros: The software takes care of so many aspects of our business. Client details; timesheet keeping; financial controls; database; project budgets; invoicing; correspondence and templates; and - super importantly - allowing us to check how we're going with each project. It's a daily health check and keeps the practice's engine running.
Cons: The cloud-based web app is super convenient and means you can run the practice from any browser. However, some of the features are not as intuitive or run a little clunky compared to the original desktop app that we use to use before the cloud version came along.

Very smooth, very easy day to day. Customer care is also great when required.
Pros: Ability to manage our team resourcing and project financials as well as link into our main accounting software
Cons: ability to have separate task inputs into the same timesheet line item without duplicating the line item

My overall experience with Total Synergy has been positive, especially in the areas of accounts, invoicing, and timesheet management. Pros: Total Synergy is a powerful tool that really stands out for its comprehensive project management features tailored specifically for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. What I like best about it is how seamlessly it integrates project planning, resource management, and financial tracking into one platform. This ensures a smooth workflow and enables efficient coordination across teams. Its ability to handle complex billing structures, track time and costs accurately, and provide clear reporting is crucial for staying on top of both project progress and profitability. The cloud-based collaboration also makes it easier to manage projects from anywhere, ensuring transparency and control at every stage.
Cons: What I like least about Total Synergy, specifically on the accounting side, is the occasional difficulty with syncing it to MYOB AccountRight. While Total Synergy offers robust features for managing accounts and invoicing, the integration with MYOB isn't always seamless. At times, I've experienced issues where the sync doesn't work as expected, leading to discrepancies between the two systems. This can cause delays in reconciling accounts and managing financial records, adding extra time and effort to ensure everything is aligned correctly. Improving this integration would significantly enhance the overall efficiency of managing accounts.

My experience has been really positive and I have been very impressed with how well it has suited my needs. The support and assistance from the support team has been terrific and definitely added to my experience. Having being used to various combinations of management tools in my previous roles, so far it seems Synergy does all that is required without need for additional work-arounds. After launching my business and starting with Synergy, I have spent far more time working on projects than setting up back-end PM tools thanks to Synergy.
Pros: The user interface and, as importantly, the workflows through all aspects of Synergy are clear and intuitive. As founder of a new consultancy, I have found Synergy to capably deal with all aspects of project delivery and performance without need for excessive customisation or use of other tools - this was a nice surprise!
Cons: It feels like Synergy is getting near to a point where there is almost too much function/feature available from the outset.

The move to Synergy has been positive - we are seeing gains every day with the efficiencies it enables. There is so much still to learn - but working with a live platform now makes more sense with our own data.
Pros: Ease of use User interface "Blue" answers most queries within moments Customer service members provide great support and resolutions to issues and questions Project Mnagers are able to see project performance with clarity and ease
Cons: Merging was not easy Support around uploads was not enough

quick, easy, efficient. Layout is simple. Enjoyable to use.
Pros: Ease in creating, assigning colleges and invoicing project. Syncing straight away to Xero for multiply access for clients to pay.
Cons: Having to go into a project to change the status, should be on the project dashboard, and click on the 3 dots with a dropdown option.

getting my head around the online version finally after many years using the old version.

Synergy allows us to track our time more effectively and handle client requests with greater speed.
Pros: The ability to see exactly what time and bills are assigned to each invoice is amazing, and really helped the architects understand what my accounting department does.
Cons: The integration with QuickBooks in the US needs some work. This remains a pain point for us. Bills have to be entered twice, and that's time we can't use for something better.

We are six years in and have not found an alternative that is comparable for our architectural business needs. At times it can very frustrating to use, if for example the functionality or customization is lacking. That said synergy has changed and developed with our business over that time.
Pros: Ability to plan and track all our projects in place.
Cons: Some of the features are lacking or clunky to use.

The overall experience is great as it provides great value compared to some pricier products used by us in the past.
Pros: The timesheet adding, project information including contacts and ability to share documents directly from one platform is very helpful.
Cons: I think some PIM tasks like email filing and searching folders should be incorporated into this package as done by Deltek.

Overall very happy.
Pros: Before I set up my business I had discussed program integration with my accountant in order to create a seemless process for both parties. This allows my tracking to be transparent which in turn allows the accounting side to work in unison without fault. This is what I like most about Synergy. No fuss.
Cons: As it is a one-stop shop for a business, from workflow management to business management, it can take some getting used to as there are quite a few moving pieces. But once you get a hang of it you can't really do without it.

We like that we can see the WIP and also manage staff time
Pros: Project Management and invoicing all in one as well as scheduling
Cons: Hard to say as we are still in the learning stages, so can't criticise anything yet.

Pros: It is useful to track work and assess workload of the team.
Cons: - The timer option in the time sheets has the potential to be much more useful. The timer could directly fill in the time sheet, in addition to what is already in that task to that dat. Then the timer would be a much more useful function (at least the option for this to be the case).- In the time sheets, there should be the option to copy and paste tasks (not the times) from previous weeks, to save having to fill it in each week when the project is ongoing. There should also be the option to copy and paste the tasks on the same week to be able to make minor changes, so one does not need to fill it in from the top down each time. These can be applied to both the time sheets and the expenses.
