Asana has been great for task management within our many teams! It is great for personal task management and group collaboration!
Pros: Asana is extremely user friendly and honestly, fun to learn! The training modules are extremely interactive, making for an easy transition into daily use!
Cons: I wouldn't say I like anything the least, maybe that I just use certain features less than others - like timeline views!

It provides excellent dependency management and easy to use integrations to reduce coordinating efforts for the entore organization.
Pros: Enterpriae version with advanced project management capabilities really reduces complexity in keeping large stake holder groups up to date even in dynamic and dependent project situations
Cons: usability is quite individualistic. So before fully using the potential, it requires some setup time before realizing the value of reduced coordination efforts.

Asana has been used in my personal life, in Boards that I participate on, and in my day job. I would be lost without Asana!
Pros: Asana makes it so easy to share status updates and assign steps to a group while working on a project. I think it's extremely reasonable pricing for the value that you get; truly, I would use this on my own dime if my company didn't pay for it. There are features that are flexible that help really organize whatever is needed.
Cons: There are areas that can be rigid with the task tracking. Once you get the hang of the setup, it's okay, but still cumbersome.
Anonymous User · Director of Training and HR · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 18, 2026
Asana is a solid choice for teams that need more structure and visibility than basic Kanban tools offer, but aren't ready for the full complexity of something like Jira. It strikes a good balance between power and usability once the team is onboarded. The four-star rating reflects its excellent core functionality held back slightly by pricing tiers and initial complexity.
Pros: Asana excels at organizing complex workflows across teams. The ability to view work as a list, board, timeline, or calendar gives everyone the flexibility to work the way they prefer. Task dependencies, subtasks, and project templates make it easy to standardize processes and keep teams aligned. The automation rules also save a lot of repetitive manual work once set up correctly.
Cons: The interface, while feature-rich, can feel overwhelming for new users compared to simpler tools like Trello. Some essential features like advanced reporting and workload management are locked behind the premium plans, which makes the free tier feel quite limited. Notifications can also become noisy if not configured carefully, leading to alert fatigue.

I love it. It’s definitely beginner friendly and it gets straight to the point. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be organized with a project management system
Pros: I like how easy it was to use. It was a great way to keep track of my projects when I first got into entrepreneurship
Cons: I didn’t like how you can’t have docs. That was my biggest thing. I wanted to be able to keep notes from classes and etc
Sabre’ B. · Systems Strategist · Internet · May 14, 2026
Pros: The software was decent, it's not very intuitive but it works for organizing basic tasks. It could be more user friendly.
Cons: The company is dishonest. When attempting to cancel my subscription, I was somehow double charged and now they are refusing to refund the charge.
Kevin S. · CEO · Entertainment · May 13, 2026
Overall, Asana has greatly improved our team collaboration and project management. It keeps everyone on the same page and helps us meet deadlines effectively
Pros: It is very easy to organize daily tasks and track project progress with my team. The interface is clean and helps improve productivity
Cons: The mobile application can be a bit slow sometimes, and it takes time for desktop updatesand the interface can be overwhelming for new users at first
Issam L. · Linguistic Specialist · Information Technology and Services · May 13, 2026
Asana has been very positive. It has significantly improved project visibility, accountability, and team coordination. The platform helps streamline workflows and ensures that tasks are completed on time.
Pros: Asana is its intuitive interface and has the strong task management capabilities. It makes it easy to create, assign, and track tasks with clear deadlines and priorities. Features like project timelines, boards, and lists provide flexibility in managing different types of workflows. It also improves team collaboration by keeping all updates, comments, and files in one place.
Cons: One drawback is that some advanced features, such as timelines and reporting, are limited to higher-tier plan
Yugma S. · Assay development and integration technician · Biotechnology · May 10, 2026
Generally good. Team likes it and does the job for our agency very well. It is a solid project management tool that fits our workflow as a design agency.
Pros: Easy of use and onboarding compared to Jira. The interface is intuitive and the team was able to get up and running quickly without much training.
Cons: Limited work with story points and dashboarding them, limited around storing merging code compared to Jira.

Its ease of use and not complicated like some platforms.I can manage my tasks and check the of as i complete them.
Pros: As a small business its value money the features on the free plan are what i need for my small business when it comes to staying on-top of tasks and things i want to do.
Cons: I wish that some features on the paid plan were also available on the free plan but its okay. When the time comes i can move to the paid plan.

Asana has allowed our team to create, communicate, and collaborate all in one place. We don’t have to have ten tabs open, we can be on one tab in one software and have all our details and duties in one place. It’s great!
Pros: Asana allows me and my team to collaborate on important projects. It helps us keep our daily tasks organized and allows us to subtask out each persons duty in the project.
Cons: I like everything about Asana. I cannot think of a con about the software. It’s super helpful in our long term and short term goals as a team.
Natalie O. · Supervisor of Registrar Services · Education Management · May 3, 2026
I believe that the free platform gave me a great overall experience. I was able to use most features well and I think it was awesome to have a space where I could organize the project in one area where all of the stakeholders could see the progress in real time.
Pros: Asana is a great tool for managing projects, timelines, specific tasks and making it easier to account for jobs not completed timely.
Cons: Because I was using the free platform version I was not able to utilize all the features so I must say that I didn’t experience it to the fullest.
Thomasina H. · Owner · Human Resources · May 3, 2026
Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with Asana. It’s one of the better tools for project and task management, especially for teams trying to stay aligned on work. When used consistently, it helps reduce confusion and improves visibility across projects. However, it works best when the whole team is committed to using it properly and keeping things organized.
Pros: Asana makes it very easy to keep track of tasks and projects in one place. I like how flexible it is—you can switch between list, board, and timeline views depending on how you like to work. It’s especially helpful for collaborating with a team because everything is transparent and easy to assign, comment on, and track. The integrations with other tools also make it fit smoothly into a broader workflow.
Cons: It can start to feel a bit overwhelming when projects get large or when too many features are used at once. There’s a learning curve for new users, and not everyone uses it consistently, which can reduce its effectiveness. Some of the more advanced features are also locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be limiting.

Pros: Asana has made project management so much more efficient! The features are great, the customer support is always helpful, and tracking tasks has never been easier. Highly recommend!
Cons: I do not have any dislikes at this time. A few times I had a few IT glitches, but they were resolved within minutes when their customer service team was assisting. Super quick and very friendly!

I have had a positive experience with Asana. I enjoy looking at the reporting page where it shows the number of completed tasks. It is helpful to look at on a large scale. This platform is great to keep your team and tasks organized.
Pros: I like most that it keeps me organized. Out of 1 to 10 I would rate the ease of use a 7. Being able to view the team's tasks and what still needs to be done adds so much value for the money.
Cons: It can get a little wonky if you do not mark off each sub task before you mark off the full main task.
Martha L. · Payroll Admin · Accounting · April 30, 2026
As a teacher/employee, we are given tasks daily, weekly, and monthly. I can’t imagine working in a virtual setting and not using Asana. My experience has been nothing short of amazing and I am continuing to experience that.
Pros: Being a virtual teacher, Asana makes it easy to keep track of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and projects. Asana is my go to for all of my daily tasks. Asana helps me remember when I need to grade, update attendance, parent communication, etc. I am so glad my company uses Asana because without it, my work life would not be as organized as it is.
Cons: I can’t say there is anything I don’t like about Asana. It is a very effective program that is beneficial in all aspects.
Jennifer R. · Teacher · E-Learning · April 28, 2026
Overall a good experience and the team members like it too. A bit of a challenge to get people to buy in but once they do the love it.
Pros: Very intuitive and useful product for task and even team management. Because a go to for our team in keeping track of our projects.
Cons: No major concerns, but with the ability to keep track of projects directly through Google or Microsoft, makes you wonder why pay for this. Albeit it does have a comprehensive set of functions.
Anonymous User · Director of Market Research · Market Research · April 27, 2026
Asana is our favourite project planning tool and has helped us to continually achieve certification for ISO 9001:2015.
Pros: We had tested a number of different project management tools, settling on Asana two years ago for our continuous improvement team projects. Asana stood out from the rest by offering task tracking up to objective/strategy level, allowing us to link projects back to business objectives to follow their progress. Asana offers an easy-to-use desktop app, with customisable dashboards to track objectives, progress and approvals. Considering the impact to our business and organisation of tasks, Asana is extremely well priced.
Cons: The Asana tool can be overwhelming once you start linking projects and objectives together, but it is easy to tweak these once created.
Jordan B. · Head of Regulatory and Facilities · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · April 24, 2026
I prefer to use Asana for jobs from a property management company we work with often as it is easy to sort thru jobs that are open & closed and status of each.
Pros: I love that I can keep up with each individual job on Asana when sent to us thru a property management co that we work with often. I can also go back & easily search the address to find other repairs done at same location and bring back photos & information easily.
Cons: It has some quirks at times but overall the system works as it should from what I have seen the last several years.
Hollie G. · Office Manager · Construction · April 22, 2026
Ramzi H. · Responsable RH · Medical Devices · April 22, 2026
Asana keeps me organized in an online space, something that is worth its weight in gold because my company is all about efficiency.
Pros: As a progress-based individual, a to-do list is a great way to keep me motivated. I can also be forgetful at times, and the to-do list on Asana is an easy way to remind me on a daily basis without filling my computer with sticky notes that would clutter my workspace. I like that I can receive notifications on a daily basis or easily check the app on my phone to see if I've forgotten about a time-sensitive task at any point in time. More often than not, I check my to-do list for the next day to know how to mentally prepare myself for my workload. My other favorite part of Asana is its collaborative functions. For example, a group project, a task you assign to someone else, or a project assigned by a manager can easily be tracked for completion. It keeps everyone involved up-to-date in an online workspace that can otherwise lack effective communication at times.
Cons: The most pertinent con to me in using Asana is if/when someone forgets to put a due-date on something. You might totally forget about this task because, although there's a button for "no due date" tasks, Asana does not direct you to check these *just in case* you need to check them. I suggest an occasional pop-up that says, "You have tasks with no due-date that you haven't looked at in a while!" It can get real complex real quick. Some of the functions I don't use because I don't understand them and I'm afraid I'll do it wrong. For example, I do not create projects for my team to collaborate on. However, if I learned it, I'm sure it would be quite useful. Being on the receiving-end of these projects, it's been pretty good, a 4/5 I'd say. Ultimately, it can still be like learning the quirks of a new computer in the sense that you have to know where to look to find your project and shared tasks that might not automatically pop up on your task calendar.

Overall, Asana is great to use in the workplace. It keep everything organized and easy to find what is needed. I am able to to pull up all the information including extra data if needed
Pros: Being able to keep my tasks and assignments organized all in one space. The AI feature really helps to manage projects.
Cons: Some of the new updates to the project boards. Not used to the new layouts of the projects. Learning how to use the new views
Ashtin D. · Customer Service and Support Specialist · Marketing and Advertising · April 20, 2026
Overall, my experience with Asana has been positive. It’s easy to use, helps keep tasks organized, and makes it simple to track progress across projects. The features are strong for day-to-day collaboration, and it’s especially useful for keeping teams aligned on deadlines and responsibilities. Customer support has also been helpful when needed, and the value for money is solid given the productivity and organization it brings to a team.
Pros: What I liked most about Asana was its ease of use and intuitive interface, which made it simple to organize projects and manage tasks. The platform offers strong features for task tracking, clear organizational management, and helpful reporting tools that provide visibility into team progress and deadlines.
Cons: What I liked least about Asana was that some advanced features and reporting tools require higher-tier plans. Managing many tasks can also take extra organization, though its ease of use and strong core features still make it a great tool.
Estela G. · HR Assistant · Law Practice · April 19, 2026
Asana is a solid project management tool with standout features, particularly for teams working on interconnected projects. However, the cost might be prohibitive for smaller teams or those with tight budgets.
Pros: Asana's task dependency feature is genuinely excellent. It lets us visualize complex project workflows and understand exactly how one task impacts another. This alone has improved our project planning and helped us catch potential bottlenecks early.
Cons: The pricing is significantly higher than competitors like Monday.com for comparable functionality. Additionally, the lack of native email integration is frustrating, we'd love to send tasks or updates directly from Asana without leaving the platform.
Richwell A. · Operations Manager · Utilities · April 18, 2026
It has strong features for managing workflows and coordinating teams and reporting tools make it easy to see how the project is going. For the price, it is good for both small and large teams. Customer support is generally reliable for premier users.
Pros: The best thing about Asana is how well it keeps track of tasks and manages organizations. It makes it easy to plan projects, give out work and keep an eye on progress all in one place,.
Cons: What I like least about Asana is that it can be hard for new users to understand, which makes it a harder to use at first.
