Bird Eats Bug

Pros: I am very picky about using third party tools. Tried to cover this mission for a while using Loom with Chrome Dev Tools open for capturing bugs, but didn't quite cut it.

Cons: The name is kind of strange :-). It does it's mission and is pretty easy to learn.

Pros: I love the screen recording feature coupled with the dev console recording.

Cons: Nothing to not like, all what I am looking for in such tool is there

Pros: Screen recording and sharing for bug tracking purposes

Cons: Missing network logs like http response are not captured

Pros: Console and network screen recording for the whole tab session

Cons: Task management is very poor, but as a secondary tool its great to use with

Pros: It's simple enough that everyone at the company can use it to capture bugs.

Cons: We ran into some permission issues that required assistance from technical support early on, but these are fixed.

Pros: 1. easy to use 2. concise 3. video is crystal clear

Cons: session is not preserved in browser. Each time when I close and open the browser, I need to re login.

Pros: It is very simple to catch and repeat the errors that fall on the Console and Network, and record it as a video.

Cons: I cannot delete the workspace I created. And sometimes it can miss errors while catching errors.

Pros: The ease of inspecting and reporting errors

Cons: The ease with which it shows the videos and the console at the same time. And with the possibility to insert comments and share with other team members.

Pros: I can easily record some behaviour of interest with reproduction steps and all the relevant data and share it with colleagues. It's really a time saver ;)

Cons: I don't use BirdEatsBug that often, so I didn't notice downsides of it. From my perspective it's a perfect tool for supporting process of diagnostics.

Pros: I am a new user of Bird Eats Bug, but it seems useful so far. It's great to provide more insight into bugs for our dev team.

Cons: None known at this time. Seems intuitive.

Pros: There are tons of recording and screenshot tools, but untill Bird Eats Bug, i haven't found a single one that also registers info like, console log, resolutions, browser version etc. This tool gives me everything I need to properly record, reproduce, write and share bug reports.

Cons: Really dislike this only works in Chromium based browsers. Safari and Firefox also have a big customer base and often have specific bugs I need to catch for webdevelopment.

Pros: Ease of use, time reduced in capturing and describing a bug

Cons: Nothing yet, this value shouldn't have limitations :)

Pros: Easiness of sharing recordings including network logs.

Cons: I'm not sure if it's for security reasons but I would love to see network responses together with network requests. They help a lot understanding where the issue stands.

Pros: Easy to record screen and share with others, great for showing steps to reproduce bugs.

Cons: The sessions list could be improved, maybe adding tags for better organization.

Pros: Very easy to use and set up. I would recommend to anyone.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Everything seems good.

Pros: I like how you can see the network info and console logs for the recorded tab. That gives most of the information while watching the video. Audi capture is really useful when QA team needs to convey some message which they can't convey during screen recording.

Pros: "Fire and forget" feeling of the console flow and possible errors Screen capturing and uploading it on the cloud makes sharing easier compared with other solutions

Cons: Lack of Firefox extension Not being able to get multiple recording in one session or at least multiple screenshots in a waterfall/timeline manner , so i can upload one session with many screens (to illustrate the problem better) instead of limiting for one screen per session or uploading multiple sessions.

Pros: Ease of use and great recording functionality including error and network logs

Cons: Someone who wants to just look at the video needs to login

Pros: I like that it's overall usage just involves 3 steps maximum - record -> upload -> share. Having minimal overhead is fantastic for users.

Cons: Not really, I found using this software quite pleasant.

Pros: Screen records coupled with logs are the greatest features for us, allowing to get effective feedback from customer teams and understand what the problem is exactly.

Cons: Getting the "share" link is too long and the login is not lasting enough time.

Pros: Easy of use and does what it have to. I wanted to implement bugreplay in our organisation. Then this came on our path. Since we're smaller and have a lower budget, this was a perfect fit.

Cons: Not clear you need to upload it in organisation environment so others can see it. We were struggling a bit there at the beginning.

Pros: It is so easy to use and JUST works and gives us all the information we need
