The overall experience of Ironclad's interface easy to navigate, allowing team members to get up to speed quickly.
Pros: It helps in transforming manual contract processes into automated, collaborative, and secure workflows easily.
Cons: It is a very friendly user software if you are used to it, but setting up complex workflows can be challenging for non-programmers.

Pros: Ironclad makes contract creation very simple and straightforward. I has good integrations with Salesforce, so the whole process from opportunity to closing has become seamless for me. I recommend.
Cons: I used the like the previous user interface a bit more, but the changes are not big enough that it bothers me.

Pros: I love that I can manage all my documents & contracts. electronically sign them in my absence and it is super easy to use
Cons: the cost, in as much as it is great value for money, it is very costly and I do not recommend it for small businesses
Anonymous User · Administrative Director · Research · January 25, 2026
I would give it a 6 out of 10. The ease of use and learning curve is relatively simple, but it's difficult to find old and completed workflows.
Pros: It's a relatively easy to use software to send out contracts and documents for signature. But I have issues finding old contracts in Ironclad, and don't think it's useful for that.
Cons: It is practically impossible to find old documents and contracts in Ironclad. The lookup fields are tough to use, and we've used it for multiple years so it pulls up contracts that are not relevant to me when I search for them.

Overall experience has been phenomenal. I think it is a necessary tool for any organization that has contracts with customers or other businesses.
Pros: Ironclad is a great tool to keep track of contract redlines for our legal team. It gives us a streamlined way to negotiate contracts with our customers and maintains an audit trail for record keeping. It is an intuitive interface that allows us to easily send and receive documents throughout the negotiation process, and it is integrated with Outlook.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like. It does exactly what we need it to, which is streamlining contract negotiations with our customers and maintaining an audit trail for record keeping.

Pros: I like about the user friendly interface and collaboration it got. The UI is clean and intuitive; less technical and one can get up to speed. Collaboration tools (e.g. comments, version control) are appreciated.
Cons: Document editing & version If documents need serious redlining or PDF-to-Word edits, the workflow can be clunky especially when you are downloading/uploading outside of the system.

Overall, ironclad provides a reliale solution for managing docs ans contracts. This platform makes it easy to handle them in the future as it saves time and reduces manual error by a lot.
Pros: Smooth contract lifestyle management with clear workflow, it's easy to use dashboard makes tracking editing ans managing documents easy and simple.
Cons: It's a bit difficult for new users and the limited customization templates compared to some editors.

It has all the tools needed to create contracts from start to finish. It allows you to keep track of each contract to ensure compliance. Everything is organized so that no contract presents any problems with the stipulations. What I like most is how easy it is to use because it clearly details the purpose of each tool.
Pros: When creating contracts, what I found most difficult was writing each one because you have to have the exact words to convey in detail everything that must be stipulated in the contract. With the help of Ironclad, I've improved a lot in that aspect. Since I started using it, I don't have to worry about writing because its AI assistant is very good and facilitates the process. It also has all the necessary tools to start drafting and finalize with an electronic signature.
Cons: It's a work tool that offers more benefits than drawbacks. I haven't experienced any problems. I like how well it works.

the user interface is well designed and mordernwith logical workfloes
Pros: it saves legal teams hours of manual review and reduces bottlenecks in contract processing
Cons: while using on large contract volumes,it occasionally lags in performance

It facilitates the entire contract process from start to finish, allowing me to see how it's progressing if any modifications are needed, and facilitates collaboration among the entire team.
Pros: I really like how I can better manage contracts through Ironclad. It allows me to follow the detailed steps of the process and keep all contracts securely stored so that when I need previous contracts, they're easy to find. At the same time, it's also easier to complete the final signature of each contract by sending it digitally, making the electronic signature faster and more secure.
Cons: Its initial learning curve isn't easy to use; it requires a long learning curve that makes it difficult to understand the entire system.

so far so good, it easy to get through and like the communication on there
Pros: very detailed and very simple navigation through the website
Cons: it can be a lot for the eye sometimes but easy once you get used to it
Stephanie C. · Office Manager · Computer Software · April 29, 2025
Ironclad has been an amazing step up from the manual process of approving contracts and storing them in another place (Google Drive, Box, etc.)
Pros: Ironclad automated our old procurement workflows by creating a seamless chain of approvals for all parties who need to review vendor contracts
Cons: The tracking of renewals off of the contracts executed in Ironclad is very difficult. We use another tool to track as Ironclad doesn't notify of a contract end date coming up.
Pat D. · Sr. Director, Finance · Hospital & Health Care · April 23, 2025
Ironclad is okay but i feel like it could be more intuitive and easier to navigate
Pros: I think the best thing about ironclad is being able to have an audit trail when working on sending out quotes
Cons: Ironclad is sometimes hard to find the specific step/message you are looking for. Threading could be better
William G. · Account Executive · Marketing and Advertising · April 9, 2025
Overall experience has been so positive that we are going to move off of DocuSign entirely and over to Ironclad. We believe they are better positioned with their product roadmap to support our company as we scale in the coming years.
Pros: The user interface is a lot cleaner than most other CLM software, and it's clearly been designed with integrations in mind. It's a surprise when these integrations don't work perfectly, because usually they do.
Cons: As a very forward-looking product, I wish there was more prescriptiveness within the product that shows you what best-in-class CLM looks like. As it exists, it's very choose your own adventure which is daunting if you don't have a full-time admin.
Anonymous User · COO · Computer Software · January 27, 2025
Pros: Ironclad helps our company with contract management and centralizes our contract workflow and review all in one place. It is great for collaboration for review of draft contracts, comments and tracking changes.
Cons: It would be great if ironclad had more integration with different systems.
Annie G. · Sr. Accountant · Accounting · January 22, 2025
Pros: workflow integrations, intuitive ui, good legal team
Cons: no integration with slack, mediocre customer service (can be better)
jval s. · software · Utilities · January 22, 2025
It has been good in the 1 year since I’ve been using it
Pros: The ease of finding any document on just one click
Cons: Maybe they can structure the homepage differently, I still get confused sometime if the document has been accepted or not
Poulomi S. · Partnership Operations Manager · Insurance · December 22, 2024
Pros: Would recommend Ironclad specially if you are looking for a CLM to integrate with Salesforce.
Cons: We are unable to upload images into our contracts. If you are planning to have a 100% automated process for contract generation, consider this roadblock.
Sarai C. · BizOps Analyst · Farming · April 9, 2024
This is a great product with little or no training required. Highly recommend for a start up small to mid size business.
Pros: I love the audit trail, I like the fact every change is tracked and versioned for any updates and that fact any change to any stakeholders is communicated it keeps everyone on the same page.
Cons: Very little to dislike in my role the changes are bearable as I review rather than amend contracts but it could get cumbersome with multiple changes depending the size of the team involved in contract changes.
Rashpal S. · GRC Director · Computer & Network Security · October 31, 2023
has been working great and improved a lot our routines. there is room for improvement as mentioned.
Pros: INtegration with SF works great (although it was a little hard to set for a non-programmer)Integration with docusign was absolutely easy
Cons: setting up the automated documents was hard the first time.

We are very pleased using IronClad.
Pros: IronClad Customer Support has been really responsive and they are always on top of their game. Most of the time, getting a resolution can take a couple of days elsewhere but with IronClad that is not the case, and for that I am grateful. Thank you
Cons: There are very minimal things that I dislike about IronClad from an IT perspective, and that is the SAML integration instructions. Other than that, we are very pleased.
Victor C. · IT Help Desk Supervisor · Biotechnology · August 30, 2023
Pros: The ability to create workflows that support our teams efforts. The ability to securely have legal processes in place for contracts and documentation.Customer support has been extremely helpful with resolving issue and concerns.
Cons: So far, we are pleased with Ironclad as a resource for our team.
Tanya S. · Senior IT Support Analyst · Computer Software · August 30, 2023
As a new user over the last couple months my experience with Ironclad has been great. Ironclad support has been really helpful and responds quickly. They listen to the feedback of their customers to always try and improve the system to fit the needs of their customers.
Pros: I love the design of the system and is very user friendly. The dashboard shows the exact stage the workflow is in. Communicating with the internal and external team is really helpful to track the progress and changes of the workflow. The metadata makes is really easy to see all the important information related to the contract.
Cons: A contract status feature showing which contracts are currently active or have been terminated or expired but am aware this feature should be released in a future update. Some more resources on how to create custom formulas for workflow designs would be helpful.
Jenna R. · Paralegal · Gambling & Casinos · July 24, 2023
Pros: The template editor is my personal favorite feature. Creating clauses or "if/then" edits allowed us to create more contract templates than we initially thought. The editor is super easy to use, but the Ironclad "Academy" has helped me on several occasions. I was able to get answers to my question without reaching out to the Ironclad support team.
Cons: As of today, I have not seen any downsides to this product.
Tristan R. · Legal Assistant · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · July 21, 2023
Ironclad is great overall, I love the system
Pros: The workflow designer tool is really easy to use since its features are logical. I really like how the answers can be email address captured as an email instead of just a text box. This capturing of true values really helps when building out our repository
Cons: I would like the 'turn's function to allow for each approver to have a turn function or to accurately show when the in house attorney is really reviewing the agreement and how long it has taken them as the approver. we have 5 different approvers in our workflow one from each department and the attorney is the one who is using the turn feature but it incorrectly is adding in 'days' or time when other approvers are doing their checks. ideally we would like the 'turn' function to be on an individual level.
