AD360 centralizes identity lifecycle with user management templates automating account creation, updates, and deactivation—automatically populating department, group memberships, and mailbox settings. With this, user attributes are synchronized across on-premises and cloud directories (Azure AD, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). With a self-service portal, employees can register, update profiles, and reset passwords, reducing support tickets. By triggering follow-up tasks based on events or schedules, orchestration templates ensure identities are configured correctly without scripting. AD360's identity analytics track lifecycle events-failed provisioning, orphaned accounts, and attribute mismatches-and show trends in dashboards and reports for ongoing optimization and audit compliance. HR, ITSM, and SIEM systems can be integrated through integrated connectors and a REST API. With AD360's template-driven design, identity management in hybrid environments is consistent and traceable.

AD360 is meant to reduce fragmentation by bringing user- and identity-management, security auditing, authentication, lifecycle management, and compliance under a single console/platform.
Pros: It's a nice tool to manage the AD Service & AD Audit Security centrally. AD360 is a unified Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution for environments using Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, and hybrid on-prem + cloud setups.
Cons: This tool Licensing Can Get Confusing, Cost Grows as User Count Grows, Reporting is Strong but Sometimes Slow.

Love the AD360 with all the modules including the M365 management, support is fabulous, fast and professional. Saves time when doing many actions with one push (i.e. disable or restore many AD accounts or generate one or more reports)
Pros: Ease of use, one interface to access all other modules, easy to manage, extensive reports. If you requirement a custom report, you can open a support ticket. Value for the money
Cons: Need to be careful when updates applied, need to back up the database and follow instructions. However, support can help if things go side way.

It was a great experience using ManageEngine AD360. Helps both Administrators and customer support with task management.
Pros: Easy to use and value for money, and SSO for all apps. Its remote access makes it flexible to access from anywhere.
Cons: Customising reports and advanced analytics may require manual effort. User Interface Limitations: The dashboard and reporting tools are functional but not as modern.

Earlier we were managing our Multiple AD's (Add, Remove, Change) of user / Groups and group policies manually which consume time and efforts of an AD Administrator.
Pros: We have implemented AD Manager Plus, Ease of deployment and ease of use for our AD Administrators. Seamless co-ordination with sales and support process during POC.
Cons: The support during POC was very good, but after sales during deployment we faced some challenges for support.

AD360 brings together AD, Microsoft 365/Exchange, hybrid AD/on-prem + cloud environments, auditing, MFA/SSO, workflows and more under one roof. User provisioning/de-provisioning, password resets, group/member management, account lifecycle events become easier and less error-prone thanks to templates, workflows, and bulk operations. AD360 adds value not just in convenience but in compliance/security with features like MFA, privileged access monitoring, auditing, reporting, risk-exposure mapping, and more.
Pros: • A single, unified platform • Automation + Efficiency — less manual work • Strong auditing, compliance & security support • Usability — Clean UI and easier admin experience • Flexibility & modular approach
Cons: • Less ideal for cloud-only or non-AD-first environments • Stability & reliability issues over time (in certain environments) • Module-to-module inconsistencies and integration gaps • Complexity & steep learning curve at first

ManageEngine AD360 is a very effective all-in-one identity and access management tool. The trial version allowed us to test its capabilities before purchasing.
Pros: AD360 is an all-in-one security tool for Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID. Provides great value for money. Easy to set up, administer and manage.
Cons: Nothing in particular to mention as a con. However, they could improve customer support response times.
Neil G. · Director · Financial Services · December 3, 2025
My overall experience with ManageEngine AD360 has been very positive. The platform brings together user management, auditing, reporting, and access control in a single, unified solution. Once configured, it significantly streamlines day-to-day administration and reduces manual effort. Support has been responsive and helpful, and the product consistently delivers strong value for its cost. I've been a decade long user of Manage Engine.
Pros: ManageEngine AD360 brings all IAM functions into a single, easy-to-use console. The interface is clean, the workflows are intuitive, and daily user management tasks take significantly less time. Customer support is responsive, and the value for money is excellent compared to other enterprise IAM solutions.
Cons: Some modules have different interfaces, so the overall UI can feel slightly inconsistent. Initial configuration requires time and documentation review, especially for advanced features. But help is instantly available to amazing guidance.

Chris P. · Security Specialist · Government Administration · December 3, 2025
Overall, ManageEngine AD360 delivers a good experience, especially for value for money and ease of use. For the price, it offers a broad set of IAM, reporting, and automation features, and its modular licensing lets organizations pay mainly for what they use. Users often praise the intuitive GUI and simplified daily tasks like provisioning and reporting, with only occasional comments about complexity in advanced configurations.
Pros: 1. Comprehensive IAM: Offers user provisioning, deprovisioning, multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and adaptive authentication to secure access and reduce identity threats. 2. Automation and workflows: Automates onboarding/offboarding, password resets, and bulk operations like group/mailbox management, saving time for admins. 3. Reporting and compliance: Delivers 250+ prebuilt reports, real-time audits, user behavior analytics, and alerts for regulations like GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA.
Cons: 1. Reporting customization can be limited for complex ad-hoc analysis. 2. Synchronization with third-party apps may lag during high usage or large-scale updates.

From a technical standpoint, ManageEngine AD360 has substantially improved our identity governance, auditing visibility, and AD/M365 operational efficiency. The solution centralizes previously fragmented workflows—provisioning, de-provisioning, password management, group updates, audit tracking—and automates most repetitive tasks. Stability has been excellent, updates are frequent, and the product integrates well with our existing ITSM and monitoring systems using APIs and syslog forwarding. While the learning curve and UI inconsistency are areas that could improve, AD360 remains a powerful, cost-effective IAM platform for organizations with hybrid environments. It has reduced manual administrative effort, tightened security controls, and strengthened audit readiness across our infrastructure.
Pros: The strongest aspect of ManageEngine AD360 is its unified approach to identity lifecycle management across on-prem Active Directory and Microsoft 365. The AD Manager Plus module offers granular automation capabilities with custom attribute updates, template-driven provisioning, and scheduled bulk operations—all of which significantly reduce administrative overhead. AD Audit Plus provides detailed, real-time change tracking with event correlation and alerting, which is extremely valuable during security investigations or compliance audits. The built-in reporting engine covers most enterprise use cases out of the box, and the REST API enables integration with existing IT workflows. Role-based delegation is implemented well, making it easy to enforce least-privilege for helpdesk teams. System performance is stable, and the product scales efficiently when deployed with distributed architecture.
Cons: The modular architecture, while flexible, results in slight inconsistencies across UI flows and configuration methods. Advanced automation tasks sometimes require custom scripts, and documentation for complex use cases could be more detailed. Report generation can become slower when querying large domains unless the system is tuned properly. Integration with external SIEM platforms works, but it requires additional configuration and does not always offer native, plug-and-play mappings. Licensing is component-based, which can be confusing when estimating long-term cost across multiple modules.
Suvomoy R. · Sr. Manager Data Center · Oil & Energy · December 3, 2025
Pros: AD360 offered a clean way to manage identity, permissions, and access across our environment. I liked how organized the modules were, and reporting tools helped clarify who had access to what.
Cons: A couple of sections felt slightly dated visually. The functionality is strong, but the interface could use a fresher look.

My experience with ManageEngine AD360 has been largely positive. The platform provides a comprehensive identity and access management solution, integrating multiple tools under one unified console. Its automation capabilities for user provisioning and password management significantly reduce administrative workload, and the security features like MFA and conditional access enhance organizational security.
Pros: Combines multiple AD management tools (ADManager Plus, ADSelfService Plus, etc.) into a single console for centralized control.
Cons: Deployment and configuration can be time-consuming, especially in large environments with multiple domains.
Gopin G. · Purchase · Building Materials · November 21, 2025
Very good tool to fit in Hybrid / On-Prem & Cloud environment. With HA support and consolidated IAM console it is reliable enough for medium to large enterprise. Tool is good for compliance driver environment. Its adaptive MFA plus risk-based controls help to maintain security without being overlay annoying for users.
Pros: ManageEngine AD 360 is stands out for its ease of Use, intuitive user Interface and strong value for money.
Cons: Couple of pain area of ManageEngine AD360 are complexity and learning curve of the tool along with performance & scalability under load
Prasun T. · Deputy General Manager · Civil Engineering · November 19, 2025
Overall we believe the product has good potential for us to leverage and get good use of it in our environment.
Pros: It offers us the ability to use a single console for managing more than 10 domains. We are looking to start promoting our API management to other teams so they are capable to leverage the environment for their day to day operations around their CI/CD pipelines and servicenow automations.
Cons: One of the biggest issues we have had was the instability of the product where the database will fill up and the system would be in a stealth mode therefore in an unusable state. We had several tickets opened with support and it has taken a while for us to get to the root cause of the issue. Due to this instability we were unable to have our developers leverage the platform as we were anticipated for it to be used.
Alicia R. · Directory of IT Solution Engineers · Insurance · November 14, 2025
Overall good value for the money and fulfills our needs. We specifically use the custom reporting to keep our compliance team engaged with the information they require.
Pros: Overall, capable reporting tool that has many nice features and filters to create the reports we need. Overall, the product is easy to use but at times the number of configuration options can be overwhelming.
Cons: Support is not as available as we would like. The hours kept are not keeping with modern business needs. Generally, once we get someone, they are competent and helpful, but the online, chat-based model struggles.

Feature-rich and integrated: AD360 combines identity management, access control, auditing, and compliance into one platform, reducing the need for multiple tools. Strong security posture: With adaptive MFA, SSO, and privileged access management, it helps organizations meet high security standards.
Pros: Automated identity lifecycle management: Easily onboard, modify, and offboard users across system Historical audit reports: Track user activity and changes for compliance and security audits.
Cons: The platform offers a wide range of features, which can be overwhelming for new users. Some users suggest regional pricing adjustments or more flexible licensing models to improve accessibility.

Straight-forward. Easy to install. Easy to configure. Easy to use. Excellent support to help through any issues or tasks.
Pros: Easy to use, straightforward interface, with plenty of customizations available. It has simplified task management for our technicians. The customer support is amazing: quick and proficient.
Cons: No AI integration yet where I can just say what I want and it does it for me. Honestly - it has so many features, it's hard to complain about something.
Alin N. · Solutions Architect · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 4, 2025
I have been using Manage Engine for over 10 years. It has made many jobs easier and I like that I can assign admin roles through it. It is super easy to get help when I need it, which is a big plus for any software.
Pros: This tool is really great for running reports and doing tasks in bulk. The customer support is fantastic. It is easy to get help and they even help with upgrades if needed. I feel like the user interface is very easy to navigate as well.
Cons: I wish all the different modules updated together. I don't really like that I have to update each one separately. I also have trouble with my passwords, for example if I log into AD360 I use one password, but if I log in directly to Self Service Plus, it is a different password. It would be nice if the passwords synced.
Marlo K. · Director of Information Technology · Education Management · October 31, 2025
1. Customer service is good. 2. They should keep some compliance document like SOC2 Type2, Recent pentest report for SAAS product report public. 3. Easy to use and UI is good.
Pros: It just an umbrella for all ManageEngine product we have. SSL tool is quite great. Customer service agent on Live chat is quite flexible and join session on-demand. I wish they were using the remote access tool as per customer. Like we are using Team so they should be able to use team as well. Recently added - lockout analyzer on AD Audit is good.
Cons: My least fav product is AD Self service under Manage Engine AD360 Umbrella. 1. I'm using strong password enforcer and i can't see if my agent installed on Domain controller are healthy or no. 2. There is no notification if agent have upgrade pending on ADSSP (agents on DC) and ADAudit (file server monitoring agent). 3. No Auto upgrade feature available for ADSSP password enforcer Agent. 4. If ADSSP server go offline, security go off and user may start using weak password and will not respect the dictionary word which were supposed to be restrict in using as password. Once admin set the list of word in dictionary, it should create a local copy on DC, and show a sync status.
