Not very easy to learn but a tremendous improvement over our old system and method of tracking. Decreased the amount of time spent looking for files and time keeping was better.
Pros: TPS Cloud Axis makes it so much easier to track which employee is working on which project. It is a time saver. Locating files is a breeze and providing our customers with instant updates on the status of their projects feels more professional and responsive. Depending on which card service merchant is used, clients can pay online and the payment is credited to their account immediately. I do like that when I need help navigating TPS, I can call on help from the support team.
Cons: The thing I like least is the number of "clicks" it takes to do anything in TPS. It is also not very intuitive for users.

Overall experience from implementation to production was fairly painless. the team assigned to help us get up and running, in record time, were above and beyond.
Pros: Value for Money. TPS is less than half of our two previous billing/invoicing software. The pricing is what tipped us to TPS. Also, all the instructive videos were helpful.
Cons: Some of the functions were less user friendly than others and it took calls to TPS to clarify. But overall, very little to dislike.

They were wonderful. [sensitive content hidden] was helpful and pleasant. She walked me through my issue and showed me where i was going wrong. She also helped show me some options for future use
Pros: It is a very versatile product which is we have only just scratched the surface. More to come as we move into more aspects of the program.
Cons: as of yet, I have not run into anything I have not liked about the program. It has been easy to use, modify to my specifics and versatile all around

So far so good! TPS Cloud Axis is a great product at a fair price. There is a big library of standard reports to get us the information we need.
Pros: We just started using TPS Cloud Axis and really like how intuitive the software is. Their Customer Support team is very responsive and super helpful.
Cons: Our firm has only been using TPS Cloud Axis for a few months and haven't encountered any issues yet.

I realize it is a painful process having to learn a new system but so far, I feel like that TPS is there to help make it as painless as possible.
Pros: It works and good help available. I am still learning what it can do. I do not have a lot of time to play around with it so it is a slow process, but it appears to have some potentially nice features.
Cons: I do not like being forced to get familiar to the different way of doing things and terminology. I had the old software down.

I will never switch to another time management, client management system. It is simple and easy to use
Pros: TPS Support is so timely and responsive. Customer Support is brilliant. I never have to worry that my subscription is paid and then they ignore me.
Cons: There is nothing I do not like. If I have a suggestion TPS always consider adding it to the program.

I am so new to using this, as this is my 2nd week to use. I am very pleased with the help center thus far. [sensitive content hidden] have walked me through several things, ex. setting up preferences and things I will be using on a daily basis. I felt heard and never rushed. I would highly recommend either of these employees as a "go to" for any questions.
Pros: I still learning, as we just starting using 12/18/25. It's all new and different still to me. I hope I get more familiar with the Cloud. I am not opposed to change, just need a small amount of training and I should be able to adjust.
Cons: I feel like there are multiple steps to entering Time sheets than before. I may get the hang of it before to long.

it has been a great experience. Defintely more modernized compared to the deskto verision. Much cleaner
Pros: More modern and way better to use than the older verison. Has better features and easier to use as well.
Cons: It could have more features like search button on the workflow. Also with the invoicing it should have an option to add discount
Marina A. · Admin · Accounting · December 19, 2025
So far, it has been a learning curve, as the cloud version does everything the desktop version did, but in a different way. There are also some new functionalities that we are discovering that are very helpful.
Pros: The ability to log in anywhere is a nice feature. Very quick to answer any questions via email. Excellent for tracking employee time. Invoicing of client work is efficient and straightforward.
Cons: Cost is higher than the desktop version—many similarities, but different. Don't like that the user-defined information is not on the main client screen, as was the case for the desktop version.
Laura F. · Partner · Accounting · December 9, 2025
Pros: I'm just in the process of converting from Desktop to Cloud Axis - so fair, so good! Great support from [sensitive content hidden]
Cons: I haven't used it enough to figure out any cons. I'm hoping for the best and will update after further use.

So far so good. I'm happy with it. It seems much quicker and less glitchy than the old TPS which is nice.
Pros: It's very user friendly. It wasn't very difficult to switch from the old to the new. If I don't know how to do something, I like that there are short videos to explain what to do.
Cons: There isn't much I don't like really. Maybe just having to learn another form of TPS when I've been comfortable using the old one for so long.
Alanna L. · Admin Assistant · Accounting · December 3, 2025
My overall experience with TPS Cloud Axis, is so far so good. Amazed how quicky [sensitive content hidden] was able to transition us to TPS Cloud Axis.
Pros: What i like most about TPS cloud axis is that it allows me to access from any computer/laptop or IPAD since I work remotely. The automatic updates and backup is a plus. It is very friendly user and the YouTube videos also help a lot abut most of all the TPS support team is very responsive and helpful in every need. High five to both [sensitive content hidden]
Cons: At this moment, I do have anything that I dislike from TPS Cloud Axis. In the beginning it was a little difficult to navigate but as you get used to it, it gets better.

The best thing I did to learn the new version was, after about a week I quit using the old version as a crutch.
Pros: A step up from their desktop version. There were certainly some upgrades to try and make it easier to use. Your customer support, especially [sensitive content hidden], plus [sensitive content hidden] and some [sensitive content hidden]
Cons: Took a while to learn for the older practitioner. But is worth it. One needs to jump in and use it, getting singular questions answered was no way to learn. Too much is new with the program.

Overall we are pretty happy with the migration from the desktop version over to the Cloud version. I think overall TPS will be more useful to our office than we were using it previously.
Pros: Great customer support from the time we started contemplating the move until implementation and support afterwards. We also did a bunch of housekeeping on our client information, consolidating clinets, adding in emails etc, we can see TPS being a nice tool to bulk email clients as well.
Cons: A bit "laggy" accessing our firm page at times due to technical issues caused by Microsoft servers, items outside the control of TPS. Internet oiutages were our only concern, but I'm sure those issues will be very minimal over time.
Dwayne U. · Partner · Accounting · November 14, 2025
Overall, it will work for us! As with everything new, it does take sometime to get used to it and finding where everything is compared to the desktop version.
Pros: So far so good - as we are just learning where everything is compared to the desk version. [sensitive content hidden] has been great in taking care of us. Quick response and very patient!
Cons: Not being able to print right from the program takes some getting used to. In Axis you either create a pdf or word document and then print from there. We had been using the desktop version since 2010 so getting use to Axis will take some time. Items per page is a pain to have to keep changing to a set how many items per page over and over.
Denise J. · OfficeManager · Accounting · November 12, 2025
Interface is easy to navigate and well organized. Our transition from our old program was with ease.
Pros: Friendly user product with many great features that we can tailor to our firm's need. The support and customer service are knowledgeable and attentive. Time entry and billing is easy to use.
Cons: We have not come across any issues yet. Access and navigation are easy, with many features to utilize.

Overall TPS Cloud Axis is a fabulous program with many features that track and keep all the information needed at our fingertips. TPS takes care of all our needs with invoicing, time tracking, workflow due date tracking, employee time management, and billing. When we need customer support they are readily available with great willing attitudes and follow through.
Pros: The program is user friendly & Customer Service is exceptional. When you begin learning this system, it has helps on every page. The customer service is exceptional! There is a forum that helps answer frequently asked questions and if the answer is not there, the team is great at helping you get your needs met in a timely manner.
Cons: The updated version look changed so much it was like a whole new program. Our firm was able to ease into this new format and look because TPS provided a time of using the new view before the switch. This helped a lot.
Carolyn A. · Admin Assistant · Accounting · October 23, 2025
It is an intuitive and easy-to-use system. I have been able to get up and running quickly and haven't had any problems at this point.
Pros: The program is very easy to use. From setting up contacts, to bill and invoicing it makes things simple!
Cons: Honestly, I can't find anything I like least about the product itself. I used the Desktop version for years and loved it and the transition was much easier than I thought it would be.
Phillip G. · Partner · Accounting · October 22, 2025
Within minutes I received a call back. The professional was able to help me by seeing my screen so I was able to understand exactly what she was explaining.
Pros: Payments are so easily entered. I know the time tracking is a definite help for the tax preparers during tax season.
Cons: Really new to TPS but thus far I have found nothing. I will delve into it with the videos on how to proceed on each section. I have done some billing.
Laura G. · Administrative Assistant Office Manager · Financial Services · October 16, 2025
Very positive, I always hate changing to new software, but this one was very easy. Should have done it sooner.
Pros: Works great and is very similar to the old version. Very easy transition and the many tutorials makes it easy to learn.
Cons: Getting used to the new screens and finding out where the old procedures are in the new program, but still a very short learning curve.
Jim R. · Owner · Accounting · September 2, 2025
The easiest transition we have had to a new time & billing software. We tried 2 other BIG named software companies and they were disasters!! Their customer service was horrible and we were left very dissatisfied.
Pros: Great customer service, easy to learn and robust reporting capability. It's the best time & billing software I've used/seen out there.
Cons: I can't think of a single thing that is a Con. Every time I have a question the support team is super responsive and helpful. The implementation was so great, unlike our past tries with other companies - those were disasters.
Sherri D. · Partner · Accounting · August 27, 2025
Experience has been good, transition was smooth, invoicing is much faster and being able to batch email invoices is great.
Pros: Time tracking and invoicing. Support ahs been great, very helpful and they designed a custom statement template for us.
Cons: We have had issues with the program crashing on occasion. Support has always been quick and the issues are resolved.
Kerry A. · Partner · Accounting · August 9, 2025
TPS team has made the transition easy. We use the software for a team of 12 and the software is critical to our firm
Pros: So far seems to be easy and powerful tool. We have a large client base and there is a lot of functionality that we look forward to using
Cons: Unknown at this time. We are long time users of the desktop version and have always liked TPS and the support team.
Joseph S. · president · Accounting · July 11, 2025
So far, TPS Cloud Axis has been very convenient. There are still more to learn and familiarize in order to fully utilize the program, but even this process is backed by such patient, helpful, and wonderful reps (who have always been there for us, starting with the on-premises version days) and so many resources (such as the YouTube tutorials). I find TPS Cloud Axis to be more useful and organized with tons of options to utilize per each user's needs.
Pros: Faster, convenient, user friendly with added options to navigate and/or learn as you go. Less time spent on navigating or mapping certain modules and/or reports.
Cons: It may take some time to fully understand how the system works and how to navigate to make full use of the system (which is common for most new programs anyway), however, there aren't any dislikes so far.
Sarah S. · Office Manager · Accounting · July 9, 2025
Overall experience has been good. We have not started to bill clients yet. But if that goes smoothly, I'll be able to live with the short-comings.
Pros: There was a smooth transition from the desktop to the cloud version. For the most part it was intuitive, but the tutorials were very helpful.
Cons: Overall time tracking. Desktop version converted the difference between start and end times to determine the total amount worked in the day. The cloud version adds each time charge to determine the total amount of time worked in a day.
