Pros: In a creative environment where tasks can evolve quickly, the tool helps maintain a clear overview without weighing down the workflow.
Cons: The platform is intuitive enough to track hours, budgets, and project progress effectively. Once it’s properly set up, BigTime becomes a real asset for structuring work more efficiently.

It has been a straightforward and streamlined experience working in BigTime and I have had no major issues.
Pros: I like the easy user interface, and the fact that I can quickly select projects and phases. I also appreciate being able to reference past timesheets so I can see what I worked on in the past. Anytime I have had an issue their customer support has been helpful.
Cons: It would be more helpful (for me) if things were slightly more color coded, and I've seen other interfaces that show things to team members such as utilization rates, remaining money in budget (things which my team may choose to only share with project managers).

I feel like this is a legacy government contractor software that people have to use because it has certain features that others don’t, but it’s very clunky and clumsy
Pros: The app on the phone is a big improvement, I still find the views totally confusing, especially for running reports or getting to project details. It feels like it’s been weirdly customized.
Cons: It’s very hard to find certain views and screens when you want to report on projects and look up time. The most useful screen put often buried behind eight or nine different steps to get there.

Pros: Made creating invoices much simpler. Allows partners to input their time spent with clients, which can then be used to generate an invoice and calculate billing.
Cons: Took a while to set up and get used to. Occasionally has bugs that impact usage, such as entering an expense and the page resetting before the expense was saved.

I found the program very easy to use. I really liked the ability to use dropdowns when entering project information during my time entries.
Pros: I use BigTime to enter all my hours worked on a project for a client as a contractor. BigTIme is easy to use to enter my time each day and keep track of total hours billed to projects.
Cons: I wish I could easily duplicate my time entered from previous weeks or months. When entering my time for each day, it becomes tedious when repeating myself.
Elise d. · Toxicologist · Tobacco · October 1, 2025
It is a huge improvement from what we were using before. It takes me about a quarter of the time it used to take me to enter my time with the previous system.
Pros: It is very easy to use BigTime. We have been using it for over 3 years at our company and it is much simpler and faster to complete our time entry by project. I especially like the weekly entry mode that looks like a simple table where I can easily spot a client, enter my time and comments within seconds.
Cons: By biggest concern with BigTime is not forgetting to submit it on a regular basis, it's so easy to use that it's always open and I do my entry as I go. Because of this, I have to remind myself not to submit my time once in a while.
Louis B. · Vice-President · Insurance · September 16, 2025
I use BigTime for a couple of needs. I enter my hours worked on different projects. It is easy to use the search tool to find projects to add to my time sheet. I can then easily enter hours worked. Also, I have used it to create and run reports to view my hours or the hours for my team.
Pros: BigTime is very dependable, quick, and easy to use. Employees can find projects, enter hours worked, create and view reports. It meets the needs of our company very well.
Cons: I actually do not have any cons for BigTime. It meets all of my needs. It consistently works well and quickly for me to enter hours worked on projects, or view reports to see hours for employees or teams.

Overall, BigTime was a really good experience. I am especially glad our company used BigTime before the current CRM so I could learn on a more user-friendly format. I miss BigTime often for its convenience and ease of use
Pros: Our company used BigTime before, and I really miss it compared to the new CRM. One of the best parts about BigTime is that it would save all your entries so you don't have to constantly be updating it with the same information. The categories were also more straightforward and easier to navigate
Cons: It would have been nice to have the entries be that much more user friendly. Maybe have options to mark a client/entry as optional so I don't have to erase categories. Also allow click and drag to move entries.

Overall, our experience with BigTime has been positive. The software covers all the essentials we need for project tracking, budgeting, invoicing, timesheets, and expense management in one place. While there’s a bit of a learning curve, especially around some project management features, the platform is solid and reliable. What really stands out is the exceptional customer support—[sensitive content hidden] and the support team have been instrumental in helping us navigate challenges and get the most out of the software. For organizations looking for a comprehensive PSA solution with great support, BigTime is a strong choice.
Pros: What I like most about BigTime is the outstanding customer support. [sensitive content hidden] , our assigned Customer Success Manager, has been exceptional—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success. Beyond that, the knowledge base is thorough and easy to navigate, and the online chat option provides quick, helpful responses when we need them. Overall, the level of customer support we’ve received has been phenomenal.
Cons: While BigTime offers great functionality, some project management features could be more intuitive. This is relatively minor compared to the overall value and excellent support we receive.
Sue W. · Business Operations Manager · Environmental Services · July 23, 2025
Great to use until now. No complains. I have never had a chance to go for support team too. The downtime never hampers working hours.
Pros: The ease of use and friendly UI stands out. Navigations are self explanatory. The quick links are easy.
Cons: Its wait time when you submit a task. The wait time kills its features. Expenses tab can be more innovative.

I liked BigTime fine. It’s easy to use and feels pretty intuitive. But it didn't have the necessary flexibility; my work involves a lot of different billing setups depending on the service, and BigTime didn’t really handle that well.
Pros: It was intuitive and easy to use overall, but unfortunately, it lacked the necessary flexibility for my needs.
Caecilia S. · Team Leader · Education Management · July 2, 2025
Overall Big Time has helped accomplish our invoicing, reporting, evaluate, utilization and billing requirements day to day.
Pros: Big Time is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I use the Invoicing module and it has been helpful for me. I like that it is reliable and we seldom experience downtime.
Cons: Although there is not a lot of issues happening with invoice processing, when it does experience an issue, the resolution takes a long time. Worst sometimes we just have to work around it because it can't be solved.
Zina P. · Business Coordinator · Architecture & Planning · May 23, 2025
Very successful overall! Takes some time to get integrated into all of the details, but worth it! [sensitive content hidden] and their implementation team was excellent!
Pros: Everything for business management all in one place! (Time tracking, invoicing, planning, etc). It is easy to use for management and team members alike!
Cons: Visuals/Graphics for reports is not as interesting as some other options we've used in the past. BigTime foresights add on has much better UI for the reports/metrics.

BigTime has become an invaluable tool for our firm. It has significantly improved our ability to track employee time allocation across projects and tasks. The software's robust features allow us to effectively monitor project profitability, employee utilization, project timelines, and budget adherence. We also appreciate BigTime's commitment to continuous improvement through the regular addition of new and valuable features.
Pros: Easy time tracking, task management, track projects and profitability, continuos feature improvement.
Cons: I think there is still room for improvement for interface design, some features have an extra cost too.

Big time is a user friendly software while invoicing and tracking of consultants working hours it is very useful rather than manual tracking, i feel like it should get upgrade at few segments like interface, and invoice templates.....etc.
Pros: I like most about Big time is Time tracking, billing, budget, expense tracking, integration with other tools.
Cons: mobile access, interface is outdated, steep learning curves, limited invoice templates

Working with BigTime has been great and I am looking forward to continue our partnership.
Pros: BigTime's features make it super easy to track budget to actuals and get vital reports out to managers. Additionally, their customer service is great!
Cons: Once in a blue moon, I encounter bugs in the system. However, none large enough to impede on my firm's workflow.

Provision of mega cloud documentation, PM, task and team management. Besides, robust EMPSA services among other services.
Pros: Online billing and subscription service, proofing and adding due dates on projects and Tasks. Reliable and efficient EMPSA, online PM, and Exclusive QuickBooks integration.
Cons: Nothing to raise in this section, it has it all we needed.
Jesse D. · Co-Founder · Media Production · January 16, 2025
For our very small firm it was not the right fit.
Pros: It was a robust system with alot of different features
Cons: The notification system did not work properly and the system required alot of setup.

Basically, as a high-end Android user (Fold 5 1 TB), it sucks. My partners which are I-guys have no problem with the upgraded app unlike me. Through emails I was "told" that it works fine on a Galaxy S23 if memory serves correctly. So, I dug up a retired Note 20 which does not work either. I have asked, of course via delayed email correspondence since communication with real people cannot be accomplished with this group, if some type of "remote in" to my phone could be done to troubleshoot. Nope.
Pros: It is good for people on the road frequently to capture time and expenses real time. H
Cons: It seems to cater to IPhone users for mobile application. As an Android user (Fold 5), the upgrade app does not work. After months of back and forth via emails no solution reached. There is no in-person telephone support to obtain a solution.

The use of Bigtime adding jobs and preparing the info to add Professional Times and expenses is very fluent and let you to determine the invoice to our client.
Pros: It is easy and flexible in many of the task
Cons: I'm using an old version and the upgrade is going to be a hard Time.

We just implemented Bigtime on February 1st, 2024. So far our experience has been great. Implementation was smooth and we received good support from our implementation manager, [sensitive content hidden]. Having been live for 6 months we are seeing the benefits and tweaking our setup and reports to get the best out of the product.
Pros: Customization of reports, ease of setting up projects and invoicing. Getting data out of the system for analysis and firm health is very accessible.
Cons: I really wish the Dashboards were more customizable. At this point they aren't giving us the snapshot we need for our firm.
Lauren G. · Business Analyst · Financial Services · September 24, 2024
No complaints. There will be issues with every software program, especially when using in conjunction with another software program.
Pros: The efficient time tracking & synching with the accounting software to run billing. The interface is user friendly & everybody in the office can enter time & track project status.
Cons: The synch agent is not always reliable.
Melisande G. · Controller · Civil Engineering · September 24, 2024
BigTime surpassed our team's expectations. With so many competing demands from our vendors which we manage, it is hard to make sure everything you do, especially recurring tasks, is efficient and not a time-suck
Pros: Simple to use, huge value for price, highly rated within team
Cons: Had some issues enrolling / on-boarding some colleagues, with slow customer service response
Louisa C. · Customer Success Manager · Retail · August 31, 2024
We have been SO very impressed with the quality of the Bigtime product. I cannot imagine operating our CPA practice without it. Our bottomline has improved through the use of Bigtime.
Pros: Ease to use and ease of getting reports and valuable information from BigTime that we need to make timely business decisions.
Cons: I have no Cons. We have not done very good on integrating Bigtime with Quickbooks but that is more of a Con for our Accounting team and not a reflection on the Bigtime product
Richard W. · Senior Partner · Accounting · August 28, 2024
Our firm is very happy with Big Time. We have been using the software for almost three years and it has evolved nicely into a very important tool in our daily use. We use it for project time tracking, budgeting, task management, and invoice prep and tracking - it meets a great need for us!
Pros: Big Time has been a terrific tool for our firm to track time on our projects. The software has been easy to learn and navigate. I have been able to create specific reports that best meet our tracking needs. We also use it for project management, budgeting, and invoice preparation and tracking.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say about Big Time. From customer support to online Knowledge Base, the answers to most questions can be found easily. The training and follow up support has been top notch. We are very happy with Big Time!
