Has been great overall. Has made a huge impact on our business and still have some work to do to continue to improve that.
Pros: Easy to use - UI is intuitive, support is great and super helpful. Bonfire community is also a great resource.
Cons: The reporting on some features seems a bit glitchy / buggy. They only allow retargeting from certain campaigns after 3 months and I find you need a fairly in depth understanding of how things work in order to avoid race conditions. We've had some turnover with our CSMs, which I think slows progress a bit.

Overall, having Braze as part of the tech stack where I work has been a net positive. The layout is intuitive, easy to use and well defined. Braze documentation on their website is pretty detailed and helpful, and their dedicated solutions consultants are quite helpful. Overall a useful CRM tool, with good UI/UX and overall good experience, with a few key areas for small improvement
Pros: Braze does a lot of lifting in terms of trying to have features available to make email automation and triggered emails easier. Having the ability pull in datafeeds in the targeting criteria, the ability to message preview and test send, are all important features that make Braze well worth using. We also have dedicated Braze solutions consultants who have a relatively quick response time that is a big help as well.

Its overall fine, I think it suits the business needs well. However, the SMS product needs improving and strategic guidance from internal staff.
Pros: Canvas journeys are able to support our complex subscription flows, creating and augmenting the SMS campaigns is also simple.
Cons: I wish segmentation was more intuitive - I find competitor products much simpler to use and/or statements when creating audiences

Overall, Braze gave us the tools to move faster, target smarter, and communicate more effectively with our users. Once we were fully up and running, it became a core part of our customer engagement stack. I'd recommend it to teams that have some technical support and are serious about creating personalized, multi-channel experiences at scale.
Pros: The combination of real‑time / event‑driven capabilities + strong segmentation + cross‑channel messaging — when set up well, you can treat customers very contextually: responding to actions, in the right channel, with relevant content. The ability to visualize customer journeys and orchestrate campaigns (Canvas etc.), which helps with planning, debugging, and optimizing over time. Good support and resources: even powerful platforms can be under‑utilized if onboarding is difficult; Braze seems to put effort into helping users adopt best practices.
Cons: Implementation requires technical/data/engineering resources; for non‑technical teams, some of the advanced features (events, integrations, dynamic content, liquid templating) can have a learning curve. Pricing can be high, especially as you scale (more monthly active users, more features/channels). For smaller companies or those with simpler needs, it might be more than is necessary. The UI/complexity increases when your campaigns/journeys are complex. Sometimes managing many branching workflows, many segments, event taxonomies, etc., gets tedious. Some limitations or friction with custom event handling, identity management, or naming conventions. If your data isn’t clean or you don’t have strict internal standards, things can get messy.

I have really enjoyed learning to use Braze. I am still newer to the platform so I am excited to unlock all of its potential capabilities in the future.
Pros: It is more powerful than some other email marketing platforms while still being user friendly. It offers the opportunity for many different messaging types and platform connections. Best of all, it keeps basic data segmenting simple while still allowing for more advanced SQL querying where needed.
Cons: My biggest complaint so far is not being able to access HTML code in templated emails. You only have the option of ALL HTML or no access to the code to make edits and test. Most other email platforms allow for this access. I also wish there was a bit more documentation or that it was easier to find when looking to solve a current problem.

Ive been using braze for 4 years and ive enjoyed the platform. We do have limitations as CS associates but whats accessible is clear and easy to find and manange
Pros: The convenience of finding all customer information in an organized and clear way. The information is divided into segments that allows each team to find what they need in a very precise way.
Cons: Even though its a plus, I still feel there are too many segments that could possibly be merged together just to make things easier to access and read. When we need to look up something are plenty of steps to take befoe we can get to that information

Overall, Braze has been a strong partner in helping us scale user communication globally. It enables us to optimize customer journeys, run reliable A/B tests, and closely track engagement and revenue impact. While there are occasional challenges with usability and the overhead of maintaining clean templates, the platform’s flexibility and performance outweigh these downsides. It has enabled our CRM team to shift its focus from manual execution to more strategic, value-driven work.
Pros: Braze provides excellent value for money given its depth of features. It centralizes multi-channel orchestration across email, push, in-app messaging, and more, making it easy to build sophisticated journeys. The learning curve is manageable thanks to clear documentation, and once workflows are set up, campaign specialists can execute quickly. Its security and data privacy compliance also give confidence when managing tens of millions of users.
Cons: The platform can be overwhelming at first, especially for newer team members who face a steep learning curve when navigating the product with various features. Email management and template handling are powerful but sometimes clunky, requiring extra QA to ensure translations or localized versions work correctly. Bugs are rare, but when they occur, they can slow down analysis and require support tickets.

Over all a great platform and once you learn all the ins and outs there are so many possibilities to reach your customers.
Pros: Braze is a great CRM that can be tailored to all your CRM needs and all in one place - email, sms, push, in-app messages, etc. Support is also great and very helpful
Cons: There is a steep learning curve that makes getting use to it difficult. Also, the initial integration can be tricky and if it's not done right then it can lead to a lot of other problems later on.

I enjoy using braze. This is my first time using it this year and have found it super user friendly and easy to learn/ grow with.
Pros: User friendly Has all the information I need Easy to search for customers information (codes, engagement and rewards)
Cons: The customer events section. I feel like it can be a little easier to understand. The engagement tab is a little overwhelming as well.

I've been using Braze for 3 years now and I love it so much! It is so user friendly and one of my favorite systems.
Pros: I love how clean and sleek braze is! The interface is great for anyone learning how to use these type of systems.
Cons: The only thing I would change about Braze is the delay in e-mail verification code! Sometimes I have ended up waiting hours.
Kara M. · Customer Success Associate · Retail · August 29, 2025
8/10 - It's such a big step up in messaging platforms and innovative in automated technology. It really does minimize the time needed for your run of the mill journey or drip campaigns and when you are ready to level up your messaging it also has everything you need.
Pros: I love how much automated functionality and personalization is available through out the different messaging capabilities. There is a significant time commitment when setting up new automation but in the long run it saves time. They also have very flexible in platform permission settings which avoids any accidental messaging from testers and dev.
Cons: Due to all the functionality there is a bit of a learning curve that can feel overwhelming if you have a lean team. The other double edge sword is the support process. You can enter a ticket like most systems but the level of detail they require from the team can feel like overkill when you are trying to solve an issue quickly. I call this a double edge sword because they are incredibly helpful it can just take a lot time to duplicate the issue to send all the info required.

Great! The staff are great, product is amazing, and its great to be using a platform that is so innovative.
Pros: Its innovative, and future thinking. Braze really has the ability to level up our marketing and keep us ahead of the rest.
Cons: Some of the features require dev/engineer help when this is hard to get ahold of it can hold up some projects.
Meg K. · CRM Marketing Manager · Food & Beverages · August 20, 2025
Very happy with it. Pretty easy to use and to integrate. A complete solution for all marketing automation needs.
Pros: Holistic marketing automation. Is a great solution for brands that have both a website and an app and want smart flows that send push notifications, in-apps, and emails to the applicable people. Very easy to use.
Cons: Overall the initial package price is reasonable and you only pay for MAUs and not for all users in the account, but adding more emails is pricey.
Noga M. · VP, Marketing · Financial Services · August 8, 2025
Overall, its a good experience, but when we are jumping in the canvas journey, it's really impactful and best with the all marketing teams
Pros: Braze is the best MarTech platform, its really a great and valued product when its used in cross cross-functional platform
Cons: Need to have a unique ID for every canvas in Braze, with unique ID's we are getting a good bird-eye view of our landscape

Braze is a powerful tool for multi-channel marketing. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but it delivers great value once you get the hang of it.
Pros: I like Braze’s ability to deliver personalized marketing communication across multiple channels, helping us engage customers at the right time with the right message.
Cons: The user interface isn’t the most intuitive, especially for new users. Certain features require a bit of a learning curve and could be more streamlined.
Luka Č. · Customer Support Manager · Consumer Services · July 23, 2025
My overall experience with Braze has been decent. While the platform offers robust features for segmentation and personalization, certain limitations like the content card size cap can be frustrating. Still, it's a reliable tool for marketing automation.
Pros: Braze's segmentation capabilities and liquid logic implementation are powerful and intuitive, allowing for highly personalized and dynamic messaging workflows that improve user engagement.
Cons: The 2kb limit for the Content Card UI element is restrictive, especially when trying to include rich media or detailed messaging, which can hinder campaign flexibility and user experience.
Raghava M. · Business Analyst · Information Services · July 22, 2025
Limited experience to date but looking forward to using push and content cards. I love the click to enter functionality for promotions and look forward to more analytics.
Pros: Drag and drop functionality and the canvas setup. Reporting seems great. Click tracking has allowed us to run click to enter promos easily.
Cons: Some teething issues with drag and drop modules eg. no holding. Some issues with importing data points that are quite basic to us (navigating email as identifier).
Sarah M. · Head of Loyalty and Engagement · Insurance · July 19, 2025
Overall, Braze has been a powerful tool for improving our customer engagement. Once we got the hang of it, it became a core part of our marketing strategy.
Pros: Braze makes it super easy to create personalized, multi-channel campaigns. The Canvas Flow feature is a standout, it’s visual, intuitive, and saves tons of time.
Cons: The learning curve was a bit steep at first, especially with advanced features. Some integrations also required more setup than expected.
Nachiket P. · Senior Marketing Manager · Publishing · July 18, 2025
Pros: easy of use and very intuitive UI makes it easy for any one to learn the platform and use it. having a marketing tool that enables that is beneficial.
Cons: maybe would like a few more solutions to dynamic emails that may help me achieve a few things that are currently a bit manual
Anirudh S. · CRM Production Associate · E-Learning · July 11, 2025
I love Braze. Is the ideal CEP that helps my team to grow. It had a very positive impact on my team's evolution and engagement with the campaigns.
Pros: I like how easy it is to use and the high-value features the solution provides to marketing teams. The continuous upcoming features the Braze team provides are amazing
Cons: I do not have comments on this aspect. Braze is the perfect tool for marketing teams. If I have to mention something, it is that I would like the tool to have more integrations.
Demian K. · AE · Outsourcing/Offshoring · July 9, 2025
Its a very good tool, less complex for basic campaigns, quite user friendly. Loved it to do some basic email campaigns
Pros: Segmentation paths. The way in which we can segment the audience. Cross - Channel campaigns, the way we can automate the campaigns in cross 0-channel platforms
Cons: Bit somewhat complicated when working across multi channel campaigns. Sometimes it becomes difficult to analyse the audience behaviour especially when it comes to cross channel campaigns
Ritesh G. · Channel Specialist - Email · Publishing · July 9, 2025
It has been good. it looks to be a simple user friendly tool packed with features for customer focus and centricity. It is a good tool for email marketing and multichannel campaigns. Canvas is a nice tool within Braze. very latest and modern platform that can improve marketing performance.
Pros: Customer journey using canvas. unified customer view. Content Cards for in-app messaging and the ability to personalize these cards
Cons: still very much exploring so not sure about all features. However, one con is- it is a bit difficult to learn for someone who has not worked on any such platform before. also, the courses offered are a bit costly for India marketers. learning is difficult
Harshal W. · Marketing manager · Publishing · June 26, 2025
The Braze team was very hands on with getting our team up and running. We have saved so much time on email deployments since moving over from our old ESP.
Pros: We were able to set up our platform and Braze to share data easily, allowing for seamless automation.
Cons: I wish there was a way to look at campaign performance at a glance more easily with a simple report tab that displays all deployments and there email stats.
Lauren S. · Director, Engagement Strategy · E-Learning · June 23, 2025
I was brand new to my role and to Braze and was able to use the learning resources to quickly become the expert in my org. I love the data visibility and how we can use it to inform outreach strategy.
Pros: The customer support and learning/training resources, how easy it makes it to target our users with personalized outreaches
Cons: Some of the tooling isn't the most intuitive, and not auto-saving or being able to restore previous versions is tough at times.
